“Don’t Lose Ground” is a sober reminder that progress can disappear faster than it was gained so guard what God has built and keep Him at the center.

Hey there everybody, I'm Jordan Hansen, host of Daybreak Devotions, Simple Truths for
Complicated Times.
It can certainly be a tough pill to swallow, but progress is easily lost.
That weight you lost seems to come back on easier.
The trust you built is gone with one exposed lie.
The leaves you raked are back with one gust of wind, a business closes in a month after
being planned and built for years.
Easy come, easy go.
The Bible says in 1 Samuel 31-7, when the Israelites on the other side of the Jezreal Valley and
beyond the Jordan saw that the Israelite army had fled and that Saul and his sons were
dead, they abandoned their towns and fled, so the Philistines moved in and occupied their
towns.
The Promised Land was hand-delivered to the Israelites by God, yes they fought for it,
but God was on their side.
Now that God had departed from Saul, things began to fall apart.
The Philistines walked into some of those towns without a fight.
Keep God as your focus and don't lose ground from progress gained.
And remember, God's not the problem, he's the answer.
Hey folks, thanks for listening in, we hope you enjoyed today's episode and if you're
ready for a breakthrough, join us again tomorrow for another Daybreak Devotion.
