“Check In With God” reminds us that just like in life’s practical tasks, we need regular spiritual check-ins. Letting God examine our hearts keeps us aligned and prevents bigger mistakes down the road.

Hey there everybody, I'm Jordan Hansen, host of Daybreak Devotions, Simple Truths for
Complicated Times.
Measure twice, cut once.
Carpenters know what I'm talking about.
Double check your work before turning it in, right students?
Check your gauges constantly before getting too far off course.
Well, pilots practice this.
The truck driver that gets out and checks the tension on his tie-down straps, Dads lets
all say it together.
That's not going anywhere.
We should always stop and make sure that what we're doing is correct and not getting
out of hand.
The Bible says in Psalms 26-2, Put me on trial, Lord, and cross examine me.
Test my motives and my heart.
Checking in with God every now and then can make sure you're on the right path.
Being open and honest with where you're at can keep you from veering too far off course.
Little corrections every now and then are easier than major corrections down the road.
Be willing to be checked and corrected today if necessary.
And remember, God's not the problem.
He's the answer.
Hey folks, thanks for listening in.
We hope you enjoyed today's episode and if you're ready for a breakthrough, join us again
tomorrow for another daybreak devotion.
