Hey there everybody, I'm Jordan Hansen, host of Daybreak Devotions, simple truths for complicated times. Asking for help doesn't come easy to a lot of folks. I know it doesn't for me. Sometimes they ask too late, and other times not at all. Being able to recognize when you need help and being willing to ask for help immediately is vital when it comes to your Christian walk. The Bible says in Psalms 94 verse 18, I cried out, I am slipping, but your unfailing love, O Lord, supported me. He cried out when he was slipping, not when he was already falling, not when he was already down and out. He recognized things were getting dicey, and he called out for help.
We need to do the same thing in our lives. Being self-sufficient is great, but don't let pride or shame or whatever else get in the way of getting the help you need. And remember, God's not the problem, he's the answer. Hey folks, thanks for listening in. We hope you enjoyed today's episode, and if you're ready for a breakthrough, join us again tomorrow for another daybreak devotional.
