Hey there everybody, I'm Jordan Hansen, host of Daybreak Devotions, Simple Truths for Complicated Times. It's always amazing to me how fickle the human heart can be. We can be lavished with praise and gifts and even miracles, and yet we so easily fall away from the very thing that delivered those blessings to us. Cheap fakery somehow seems more appealing. The Bible says in 1 Chronicles 5.25, but these tribes were unfaithful to the God of their ancestors. They worshipped the gods of the nations that God had destroyed. Does that make any sense to you? They cried out to their God during a war with these people, and they won. Then once they defeated them, they started to worship the gods that those same people
worshipped. It truly boggles the mind. But are we so different? We fall away from God so easily to this day. Stand firm in the one who has proven himself to you again and again. And remember, God's not the problem. He's the answer.
