This is believed one network every topic everywhere. All right, guys, we are back here on Southeast in 16 presented by Fandall. It's an SEC basketball Wednesday. Usually it's an SEC basketball Tuesday, Max Barr, but thing we call football season got started this past week. And there's been some other stuff going on off the court and off the field. That we may or might not discuss here. That may be one of the questions we have. And what we're calling our SEC basketball questions, we need answered. We need them answered now quickly. Will it happen? I don't know. But we're going to throw some questions that you guys are on our mind right now. When it comes to SEC basketball, as we get closer to the start of the season, two months away, basically at this point, less than two months, maybe almost there. It's almost time to start changing the countdown to weeks, like from months.

Yes, it is. We count down. So not that anything has become more clear, but we are slowly changing from months to week. Like the chat is asking a bunch of questions already. There's some big questions from the chat. They're ready to rock and roll. Yeah, Shane through a chat. Add us this morning, asking if the real question is, will this be South Eastern 15 by the end of the week? Stay tuned. Find out. Stay tuned. Sam asked, unless you're going to have a roster, I feel confident in answering that as a yes. Now you didn't specify what kind of roster. William's going to go with SC 20 by next year. Well, Southeast from 20. I'll be honest with you. I'm not really sure if it's going to be really, really good. But, it doesn't have a great ring to it. But if it's what we got to do, it's what we got to do. Brian says the biggest question. Well, the court nonsense ever be resolved in time for when the teams take the court.

I got an answer to that one, Brian. Nope. It won't be. It won't be the International stuff. It's not going to be done yet. So. Yeah, it's it's something man. We did do an entire stream yesterday. Football guys talked about the LSU situation. You can check that out and yeah, they have it. Well, Brian, before we before we jump into a bunch of good stuff, a bunch of good questions, but we're digging through these rosters. Brian goes at I know what's coming. He resolved. And now you can't trust AI these days, folks. You can't trust him. But if you tell him, Hey, double check this table. He just gave me now. Why don't you triple check it? Why don't you quadruple check it? You might be able to get somewhere close to some accuracy. And that's what I tried to do. Light it out these court. I don't even know timelines. If you want to call it that, I'm not even going to have to describe them. Okay. I'm not a lawyer. Blake's not a lawyer. We need Neil Blackman.

Where are you? Neil when we need you? But if you want to get a feel for the timelines, what dates you're waiting for, when decisions could potentially come, pause the video, take a little screenshot or something, the big date we're waiting for is September 22nd. But even that will not give us 100% answers. So for all of the big burning questions surrounding eligibility, here's kind of your blanket legal timeline. And an answer of we still don't really know. So there's that kind of blanket legal update September 22nd. Hopefully gives us some answers. Here today it's out these from 16 courtesy of our friends AI. Yeah, unbelievable. Like it's just this is what we're going to be doing for weeks upon weeks like we've done all summer. And I mean, especially if you throw this LSU wrinkle into things,

if you're looking for a date on that tomorrow, maybe a big date when it comes to the LSU situation. But yeah, we're going to be we plan law and order here for a while. Sounds like so. Okay. As we said, we're going to get into our biggest questions and all that. Chris says, here's a question. Are you guys this one? All the chaos going on? How are you doing? Thank you. Well, as we say, you guys know, Max and I do more than this basketball here at South Asian 16. We have been busy with all of our football stuff here over the past week. So yeah, we're catching back up getting ready to rock and roll. We got some basketball season preview stuff in the works. As soon as we can figure out who's playing on these teams, we will start rolling that out. Got a nice little series. We're going to do a few guys, but can't do it yet. Don't know who's playing. So yeah, that's where we are. All right. Let's get let's get some questions. I'll let you start, Max. Again, these are these are the SEC basketball questions. We got to have answer. We want answers to these questions and we're going to give you a nice variety of things as well.

Yeah, I'm going to start out big. I'm starting out big. You want big questions? I'm asking big questions about big players. Okay. That's what we do here. All right. I'm going with the Gators. I'm asking a question about the Gators. A big question because they got big expectations. Can Rubin, Chinyulu, big Rubin? Can he improve on his short role and defense ending in space to be able to be kind of match up proof from these elite schemes and coaches when Florida does eventually match up with them? Perfect example. Ben McCollum, Macon Rubin, defend outside of the paint, making him catch the ball offensively outside of the paint, turning him into kind of a creator. Can Rubin, Chinyulu fix the little weaknesses of his game? Because let's be honest, folks. He's one of the best bigs in college basketball. But he's not perfect. Can Rubin fix the weaknesses in his in his game

to be able to hold that level against elite schemes when they're going to try to test him because no Mike a Hanlock then. I have worries about me and Kondo. But there were sometimes when elite coaches were able to take advantage of some Rubin weaknesses that ended up costing Florida. So my big, big question, these are big questions. My big question for Florida is when they do run into a Ben McCollum, you run into a Josh shirts or just some of these elite coaches, can he improve on those parts of his games to become kind of a match up proof all SEC big? So Florida's schedule, I think, presents some interesting matchups. Like we said, my amy is that November the second. Trying to see who else we've got here on the early season schedule. Of course, you don't know what it's going to look like in the players' area beyond their first game against Notre Dame. You could have Houston, you could have Kansas, Auburn, West Virginia, those are all options. Of course, the Duke game is the biggest game.

I think December 1st, that's one of the biggest games of the season. If not the biggest game of the season to this point, but yeah, I mean, then we talked about their SEC schedule where you start to get into you know, kicking off with the matchup at Texas. And then yeah, you're going to have some pretty interesting matchups. In terms of the big men in the SEC, we have mentioned two. Like that's going to be something in terms of the game planning. You know, I think the depth of the big men in the SEC, maybe not what it has been sometimes in other years. So I think yeah, that's where it's going to cause teams to be creative when it comes to how they match up against Florida. Because Florida's already a problem. Just because like we said, you look at their, you know, you look at their roster and you're seeing the big three there. And you're trying to figure out exactly how you're going to scheme around these guys. And you know, they all have strengths. They all have certain things that maybe you feel like match-up wise. You can try to exploit easier said than done. But yeah, I mean, I think it's a fair question when it comes to Rubens' role in this team. Because like we said, I mean, it's a team that legitimately

as it stands right now is going to be the national title favorite. You could make the argument. They have three first team all SEC guys. And so I mean, teams aren't just going to be able to go out and say, all right, guys, you know what? You five, go guard those five. And that's our game plan. It's going to have to be a little bit more strategic than that. And so yeah, I think the Rubens question is important. Great point here from Chris. Great point. We forgot he's almost, he's only played basketball for about seven years. Giverty. Eared. Like still a guy that is learning how to play the game at nilly level. So I think, I mean, yes, it could be a question, but it also at the same time, Blake, it could be a, if you do believe in the Florida development of their bigs, which I don't think there's any reason not to, there would be reason to believe like we haven't seen anywhere close to Rubens, you know, ceiling, you know, what kind of, what kind of jump could he take? In a senior year here, after not playing too much basketball before college.

So I was trying to find big, big time questions for title contenders. And, you know, I thought that was maybe one for the Gators. Yeah, no, I mean, it's a team that doesn't have a lot of questions. Like we said, I mean, the biggest question we've had all summer with them is it ends up averting going to play. And now it feels like we have a little more clarity on, on that. So it's just not a lot because it is sort of the complete team. And, you know, another question in Florida just simply could be, you know, what's Bogey's development cycle look like from last year to this year? That's going to be important, but it's just there's a reason why they are the odds on favorite to win it all and why they have the best roster in college basketball entering the season. So yeah. And I think Big Hit or EJ brings up a good point. If you want to throw another Florida question, you know, there are three points shooting, I think is an interesting, you know, one you could have for the Gators. Plenty of, plenty of intriguing ones, I think with them just because, you know, they do have the best roster and you're kind of really trying to find holes here. And, you know, if you're saying what's going to happen if they lose another game,

an iOS game, how's it going to happen with this team? And one of the things that you could kind of pick at, but don't think we will see many things will be that worried about with this team. So all right, I got one for you. What do you got? And honestly, I think it's, this is the team that I've had a really, I almost feel like I'm undervaluing this team and I don't know if I am or not. But these fans will tell you even last year, I thought I was undervaluing them. I probably have consistently done that and they finally just, you know, they just get to a certain mark and you're like, all right, they're pretty good, but are they elite and well, their season did not finish the way they wanted to. But I'm like, my question is pretty simple. Like, how good is Georgia? Like that, that is my question. I need answer because the retention is there. I mean, again, you're looking at a team that, how many other teams in the SEC, outside of Florida are bringing back that many guys.

You know, I mean, Alabama certainly is one of those candidates when you look at what there's kind of starting groups going to be, you know, Missouri's got a few guys coming back. We mentioned Oklahoma's core. You know, we got some of those guys back in the mix, but I mean, Georgia's got so many dudes returning and I think that's where like, I am just so intrigued by like, are we missing on this team? Is that retention going to be a big difference? You know, you're adding an SEC big guy to the mix. But then you've got those other four guys that just have played together and I mean, look, word up Ninja says, and maybe this is why I'm so back and forth on this question. He's like, it's a Mike White team and it just has a hard ceiling to where they could be good, but are they going to be great? That's what I don't know the answer to that just yet. Well, I'm so glad you asked this question because one of my main questions is, is blue cane a star? That's one of my questions. If you look at his points per day, guys,

sorry, look, I'm looking down at my phone for these stats. 7.4 points per game is freshman year. Jump to a sophomore year up to 9.6. Jump to his junior year up to 13.1. I mean, is there that progression reason to believe blue cane could be a 15, 16 point per game score this year? If he continues that trend of increasing by two to three points per game each year, and a word up Ninja, I bet blue cane is a stud this year. I feel like if you look at this roster, like the way that they only really added Freddie Dilly onto this back court, I've heard some good things about, and some flashy things about freshman Donovan Williams, but let's be honest, smurf millenters going to handle the rock 90% of the time for this offense. They kind of added, they didn't do too much with stag and catchings. I think you're going to play a little two-man game there that three and four going big and small kind of the way that this roster is constructed kind of leads us to believe blue canes are guy. Yeah, and I'm just like I look back at the

that final game of the season they won at Mississippi State. You look at the stats that stand out, right? It's catching said 23. Smurf had 18. Blue cane had 15. And then you had Jeremiah Wilkinson, Santo Ciro combined for 25. But your top assist guy was blue cane, your top rebounder was catching like your top assist guy was smurf. And so I like that's what I mean like you all of this like you have all this coming back. Now you do again lose your best score and your best big man. And that is a significant drop when it comes to that. But I mean that's where I'm like if the other guys continue to raise their game because again they were very strong to end the season last year. I know they kind of ran into a buzz saw was saintly was in the tournament. But I'm just I'm like are we and maybe it is that I mean maybe it is the point of like the ceiling. You're just looking at this team and you're like I think this team is going to be good enough. But I just don't know if this team can compete with all these others you know a Missouri with

Mark Mitchell a an Alabama a Vanderbilt and then all the way up to the top the teams we mentioned all all throughout the season. So maybe they're not you know the volatile range that you could see with teams like Oklahoma you know maybe an Auburn LSU whoever else maybe they're just kind of stuck in the middle. And that's where like I I think that's okay right now. Like I don't think that's a bad thing. You know but Georgia fans may may disagree and they say we want to eventually take that big step and it would at least on paper seem like this a roster that has an opportunity to do that. I just I don't know I still have that question. I I like it a lot. I was gonna I had a bloop like I said I had blue cane one of my top questions there and it could be a could we potentially see now nobody is ranking Georgia 16th or 15th. I don't think in the SEC but could we potentially see a type of South Carolina effect where

you like they kind of fly under the radar and then end up winning a lot of games and we're like geez continuity shooting stars versatility how did we not see this coming totally. All right big eater EJ Chaminin saying he's got a little pumpkin spice latte going that time of year Sean says we're not doing anything like that until at least October so that's some boundaries being set by Sean when it comes to the pumpkin spice time of year. All right what else you got Max? The pumpkin spice police is out. Sean. All right of course another question I have you just said their name so I'm gonna jump right to him going to Auburn going to Auburn for a big question here and I'm sticking with the guards I'm asking a question here about the hot pedaford and my question about the hot pedaford the way I have it written is can to hot pedaford be an absolute star and then for a little bit more explanation the type of guy that when you're talking with your

friends about your March madness bracket and you say guards win in March guards win in March you point to hot pedaford as a guard winning in March a guy that has made tough shots clutch shots all year you have a hundred percent trust in him as the point guard of a sweet 16 elite eight run a good good good March madness point guard can to hot pedaford rise to that occasion for Auburn. Yeah because I mean we if you'd ask this this question going in the last season we just said yep like 100 percent absolutely not a doubt in our mind but you also compare and contrast the supporting cast he had around them the year before and last year and they were different and so obviously we knew there would be more pressure on him there'd be more eyeballs on him when it came to you know what the expectation is going to be a lot of teams we're going to come into probably each game and say all right if we stop pedaford we stop kishan hall we're good and that's

not not kind of the other guys those were just the two most dynamic scores of course over to you know did start to make more of a splash I would think you know kind of as you got closer to the end of the season some of those big time SEC games you know it was a little hit and miss early on and sure you still had some some burst scoring type games against you know it was it I think it had that 29 against NC State that was a big one but so I think that's that's it now and when you look at this team like we talked about should be a much I mean should be one of the best three-point shooting teams in the SEC depending on how they kind of structure their offense I mean obviously again they have a lot of I think upside in terms of what they're going to be able to do obviously they have to be better defensively but if they're gonna if they're gonna be right up there in the top five in the league and they're gonna be the surprise team to some people because I fully expect them in the preseason polls which don't mean anything but we have to project teams I mean they're probably going to be 10th or lower I would expect and I think some of that's going

to be people just not confident in Stephen Pearl yet just because they're like okay last year gave me a little few reasons to doubt you a little bit and the other parts just gonna be hey we want to wait and see how this entire roster is going to come together because like there are some question marks here but I'm not saying Todd pedifer has to be Josh Hubbard because I don't think he that's the role he has to play because I think he's got a better scoring load around him probably but he's gonna have to be Josh Hubbard in terms of like the ball is gonna have to be in his hands if it's a four point game with three minutes to go and he better touch it on every possession and probably the guy you want to get the shot for if he's that kind of guy then I feel pretty good about Auburn's turn around this year but you know if it's if it's not that then I'm not as confident yeah the reason I asked because like I was trying to think about you know Auburn's ceiling and I'm like all right and these big time games you know big time at see games and whatnot when it's crunch

it's Auburn versus Fandy you know and say you have you either an Auburn fan or you got a wager on Auburn or some some way or form you're you're pulling for Auburn will we be able to watch that game and post game react and be like wow Tanner versus pediford point guard point guard all SEC candidate versus all SEC candidate what a heavyweight bout that was Tanner versus pediford or will we be in the post game reaction saying man you could just you could tell the differences of of a point guard play there whatever one that ends up being and I think is absolutely massive for how far Auburn goes and luckily the schedule was a little bit better this year than it was last year so let's not forget that aspect to um it eases up a little bit uh so that helps all right before we give into more questions guys we did set a super chat goal five super chats we'll give you some SEC basketball trivia at the end of the show if you give us five super chats any donation sorry Holly it's not singing today we got a layer of voices rest we got a big season coming up

order at righteous felon.com and we will put that link in the description here as soon as you're truly can pull it up a lot of chats here a lot of a lot of people in the chats huh so they're excited about this jerky open doors says you know what some people might say bleak is a meat snack you know some people might say it max I've heard it on the streets um we also got our sure and awards sure we also got our you don't want to eat the phone cases at rock form uh eat the jerky not the phone cases but we know if you try to do that at rock form it's the strongest magnetic phone case in the entire world so your teeth are gonna have a problem there no dental sponsors yet here at the channel but extreme protection super strong magnets for rock locks at gear mounting SEC 25 25 percent off again oh 25 percent are you getting me right now these people aren't fantastic SC 25 25 percent off your entire order over at rockform.com that's rokf or m.com SC 25 25 percent off

all they're fine fine stuff over there all right i'll get to our other sponsors a little bit later on but quickly we have some questions i have a quick question sure sure this might just be my brain not waking up early enough but if right just felon is 25 percent off yeah and they're it's fresh weekly if you use code if you use the southeastern 16 code you're getting a three week of jerky every month i cannot confirm that but it does sound correct it's 25 times four month I don't know i can't confirm it but i appreciate max bar asking me questions i don't know the answer to um so i i do appreciate that but yes check it out just try it why not like try it out use the code so tremendous stuff though like it tastes fantastic all right we got some super chats coming in before we get to some more questions here uh mica with one dollar on the super chat here uh oh

that's one Chris two dollars on the super chat here that's two mica another two dollar super chat that's three so we are two super chats away from little scc basketball trivia here today um all right let's get to the next question who's up me or you believe you are well that's good um i don't know i feel like this one sort of the more i thought about this one i'm like this kind of ties into my Georgia thing uh but actually i'll give you this one okay off of mike as uh super chat if i want to if i if i want to jump to that real quick sure yeah yeah we can do that okay like it says biz for three here two dollar super chat and my question with alabama is half biz half a marialin maybe a quarter of one of the freshmen coming in and it's basically in crunch time in these big time games say it's alabama florida you got buggy flan one of the better on ball guard defenders in the league on

you uh is aiden hollowway going to have to take on all of the initiating responsibilities of the offense another way to phrase that question is is a marialin's ball handling good enough to be the true lead point guard in crunch time possessions against ili on ball defenders basically like i'm trying to figure out is when it gets tough is it going to have to be aiden hollowway on the ball or is alabama going to be able to trust diaz trust a marialin to be that true point guard in crunch time so you give aiden hollowway that ability to play off the ball and be that that shooter space or a little bit also kind of wondering crunch time who's that ball handler so interesting because like we're still talking about alabama the last three years top five in the country and adjusted offensive efficiency and this team feels a little bit different like in terms of comparing to those previous three teams but it's like do you still just bank on the

NATO defective like they're probably going to figure it out and be a top five top ten offensive team in the country probably like i mean i you know even if they drop a little bit like they've what been top 20 in that category the past five years so you just expect them to figure it out and it is a good question though like you said are they just going to and that's where like you do need the young guys to really i think be significant factors here if this is going to be a team that's like a top five offensive team because we've mentioned some of the things in terms of their front court like i don't have any points of game you're getting out of brand of garrison i don't know how much of like an offensive impact you're going to have there in terms of like okay offensive rebounds putbacks that kind of stuff but how much of their offense is going to run through the front court unless it's probably fielder who again as someone i would feel like they're going to you know feel like they have some versatility with in terms of what they can do but you would seem to think that a lot of this offensive firepower is going to run through probably those six guys we see in

one through three right um i mean i think that's probably a good bad and you do have some more options too that even are below that second group we talked about some of those other guys potentially playing key roles as well so yeah i mean that's that's the biggest thing with alabama is that you've got some youth here you've got a lot of new pieces on the roster but i mean it's you know it's a NATO team i they're not going to have the experience they had last year or the year before but you just would expect them to even if there's some maybe initial failing out process on what they on how they approach it you would expect them to probably feel pretty good about their you know their point guard options and beyond so the reason i ask is because if you go through aden hallways assist rate every year now he had a very yet a create assist rate last year as you see play ranked ninth um so he was very bitching on the ball last year but all three years but aden hallway has never been number one in assist rate on the team his freshman year at oba trade Donaldson was number one on the team in assist rate uh to uh

25 two years ago uh aden hallways sophomore year marks years and the phylon were both he was third on the team in assist rate and then last year second on the team to phylon so all three years while yes he's been a big part of the back court he's never been the top assist guy on his team so i mean hey maybe senior year step into that role and and he can do it a hundred percent that's my question though as can he do it yeah it's very question i think um so we'll see like i said what the the NATO defect is on that so all right next question here um i mentioned i i had one that but i more i thought about it i think it's too close to to Georgia um here's one i'll give you who's gonna be Vanderbilt stuc miles what a question i mean you're the you're the highman on Vanderbilt i'm probably the lowman on Vanderbilt um and maybe it's the the answer simple you're like what

they don't have one because i mean it's stuc miles right i mean it you know that guy's kind of unique and it's why as good as he was but who's gonna be the guy that let's say let me just pull up a random stat line here because it's only stat lines are just absurd right yeah um you know Mississippi state seven steals horses three rebound 17 points um like i get i'm looking at some of these and i'm just like i mean again his defensive impact was significant right and i think that's where we just mentioned like looking at some of the things that he brings the table it's a guy who can make shots from outside you know he can add that scoring punch did they have a guy that can impact the game that way this year i don't think they have one guy no i think it's i think my best answer is split i think duke miles is now a glass and t o bear it and you can't get all of duke miles on the floor at one time to be honest the steals the

physicality the breaking your teeth on the floor duke miles that we all love there's t l bear it the the fireworks from outside pull up threes when you don't think he's gonna take one has some guts to take some tough outside shots there's ace glass so i think it's split i don't that's one that's a big question that's a great question because you're not gonna have all of duke miles taking that pressure off of Tyler Tanner it's only gonna be like half of them i mean maybe ace glass ace glass group i mean that guy is strong it's yeah so maybe but i mean duke is a duke's a one of a kind type of player and i think that was my thing is like and it goes along with what we talked about this is a different team um right and i think you're gonna you're gonna see you're going to see the impact of that right away and yes like open door yeah it's not just gonna be one guy and i think that's my question is what is the combination that's gonna get us

there in terms of hey we've just identified the next duke miles type player that can be around you're all american point guard and you know how do we get there in terms of answering that question like that's what i'm curious about and so yeah and it is gonna look different like we said just in terms of this team like it's a it's a bit of a different makeup you can see the offensive elements that are still similar to what kind of mark bind some type system is gonna be but i think it's so important though not to undervalue that that second guy when you have a guy like Tyler Tanner you know florida doesn't have like okay sure we got Tommy age but hey what about all this other stuff we got okay we'll be fine um i just think that that is one of the questions i have with Vanderbilt is you know we've talked about swa obviously having a breakout type season i think on this team like no question but yeah i mean it's it's probably got to be like you said some combination of a couple guys here and and still trying to get that defensive element on this team do we have do they do have like the preseason analytics i'm like offensive defense yet do we

have any of that kind of stuff or uh Evan does Evan me it does but i don't i don't subscribe to that tier i'm gonna say it's probably the probably the advanced i mean like Vanderbilt was eight then eight then offensive lat efficiency last year 31st defensively um so that's that's my thing is i want to see what this team looks like defensively um like open doors i mean what you know gabe naysmith's kind of the wild card here in the back court is he gonna be a 20 minute per game oh there's jandler bing you know like we can see him coming uh it's kind of a wild card on this back court here yeah all right um you're up all right all right got a few more i've got i've got two more big ones uh this one we're going to Sean Miller squad and the long horns all big with these questions because i want i want championships Blake i want i want final fours

oh i got to get back to the graph i want championships and one of our one of our teams last year outside the sec that we were just picking final four championship every gut bracket we were just like this team guys is so good you don't understand they're so good was arizona last year they were just mallin teams physically but they had an extremely low three point volume they could shoot it if they wanted to something a burries was good airstode was good but just an extremely low volume scheme now i'm expecting something similar not exactly the same but just the way this roster set up with isaea janssen luis freeman and gooseby being your main shooters david punch at the four is a non shooter amari evans at six five off the bench kind of a non shooter voki titus and john claark and big luis if you want to throw them in there as well non shooters so my

question to you for texas is are they going to be good enough elite enough at what they're going to be good at like rebounding scorn in multiple ways voki titus free throws to overcome the lack of three point volume when they inevitably run into a team that can match that like arizona did with michigan last year do they have enough with what they got to overcome a big game where they don't shoot well i mean that's the biggest question because again defenses are gonna i mean we talked about like if you're just hey one on one we're just gonna match up straight up with these guys i think you're gonna have problems um because that's the one thing i mentioned several weeks ago i said the biggest standout part of texas roster right now is the different ways they could beat you and i mentioned that was somebody said that in one of the articles or something that we were reading and it's like man these guys can be chained so many different ways with this roster they compiled um and i think that's gonna be the question is they can be chained a lot of ways but can they be chewed

simply from the three point line and some teams are gonna put that to the test and i'm willing to bet that some of these teams that are gonna be playing in austin texas on the non-conference schedule are gonna have no choice but to sit back and say we will let you take every shot from three please do not bring the ball in the paint at all and that's where i think we see was Georgia Georgia was one of those teams remember we we talked about them last year we're like we look up against whoever it was you team martin that may have been two seasons ago i don't remember they're like one of eighteen from three and we're like uh oh like you know and like you can take that kind of stuff away right you don't learn everything in some of these games but you know you can look at some of them just be like okay i worry a little bit about that team okay was some Georgia went eight of forty against Maryland eastern shore last year that was the one i was thinking about but they started like whatever one for something and they wound up being a kind of average shooting team i would say maybe a little below average but i think that's where

you're really gonna learn a lot um and i know it's like we're not gonna be able to learn much of anything from those games but that is something where in terms of their three point shooting is there can someone just come out and just knock down shots even against teams like that in games that are gonna be easily won you make it more of an answer than you think you would in in those kind of matchups there's like we love texas this year you know i had i think final four and i'm my first gut bracket um basically livin my final four in the gut brackets but we can look ahead and you can see at elite eight game texas against duke and it's pat and gugba one on one against matass and shire is not doubling on not gonna double them it's gonna be one on one they're you're not getting it Elijah Freeman wide open skip pass it's not gonna happen he's gonna guard matass one on one he's gonna guard david punch with seven foot boom g boom t however you say that name they're gonna guard one on one you know a team that has that size to match up

maybe a michigan state you know putting Cohen car on david punch and stuff like that when it's physicality on the quality is isiah johnson mikey luis gooseby are they difference measures enough to win games when matasson david can't when matasson david have it and he'll lead matchup against one of the other best biggs in the country can i zaya and mikey and gooseby marie heavens can they step up and win games for texas big games that's my main question yeah i think that's fair um all right that's that's a good one i like that one okay next up here and yeah one of the let's see i'm sorry i got to get off of this um some of these websites man they just let me tap it you have open right now uh let's see one two i got 12 12 tabs open at the moment and it's it's a it's a mild show if i've only got 12 so um maybe not the a show here but okay

uh one of my other questions and i think this one's kind of kind of interesting and you're not you're not gonna be able to think of this off the top of your head but who is going to be the s c and it may be the team we just talked about who's going to be the s c's net darling this year so the team that completely exploits the net ranking to their advantage is it going to be texas when they're going to win every one of their non-confertome games by 60 or more or is it going to be you know an arkansas florida because of the strength of schedule um if you had to just take an end look then we don't have a quantifiable answer here right now but if you had to take a guess who's going to be the s c because let me pull this up because you're in the s c schedule i got to find the meaning i don't even look at some of these so last year if we looked at the the net remember we always had fun with that because some of it was just absurd um but you know alibam always

plays a strong non-confert schedule alibam had 10 losses and they were the highest ranked like double digit lost team makes sense because they you know they always play a ridiculous schedule but then you had some other teams that like throughout the year people are just like well why is this team so high um Georgia was kind of a net in 33 which was not bad i think for them last year but they had some of those key non-confert wins um and i mean even Auburn and that like Auburn was the the interesting example last year because they finished 37th in the net didn't make the incidental attainment but their non-conference was so absurd that of course they finished that high um and then you had other teams like Missouri who did not play a strong non-confert schedule that really struggled and couldn't get that number up so yeah i think my best answer my best answer would be Texas or Vandy because Vandy also that's another one yeah

Vandy also uh i mean they're November bear mean wake forest, Memphis, Prairie View, East Illinois, UCF, Ohio State, Southern that's November if you just be if you beat Ohio State by five ten points they're gonna i mean they're gonna destroy some of these other teams that they're playing they'll be like uh remember uh who was it in the big 12 that did it Iowa State remember Iowa State would just win by like 75 and it's like they're playing the school of the blind how do they move up 12 spots on Ken Pong that's gonna be Texas or Vandy this non-conference i i almost think it's probably gonna be Texas and you're gonna have so many people out there like oh my gosh they just played the 357 through 364 teams in Ken Pong and for eight of their games and non-conference and they're ranked second in the in the net or something um again it doesn't really mean a whole lot but i just always think it's funny because people just overreact so much to the net throughout the season um which

of course is why i share it so much because i'm just like oh yeah it's gonna get a lot of fun I mean on the on the inverse you could see a mizu team with a fairly poor record of the non-conference but an extremely high net because of how tough their schedule is you know like could see both you could see you could have a Texas and Vandy that are undefeated going into SEC play and a mizu team with three or four losses and they're the same net 100 percent could see that could see it all right we got uh how many more questions you got one i just have one more all right i've got one more two and we'll get to those in just a second before we do uh let's tell you about again more of our sponsors here we'll play the max bar pointing game telegate tikes i mean just right that's how easy that was telegate tikes one of our other new sponsors here at the channel um and uh remember they have officially licensed collegiate bamboo pajamas for babies and kids Auburn lsu miscipes date mizuri texas a and m available with more schools coming

last question here max bar what do you got uh oh are you muted or can I not hear you what's happening you mute is max bar muted what happened are you oh shons as you're muted so maybe maybe it's not just me you said you know what I got all these fine sponsors I got a few things to do I need to mute it because I'm so excited and well you're good now you're good now I'm good okay I was just here there all right this question was am I muted again no you're good oh okay good question was for who bear and the Arkansas fans and Blake if you want you can give your opinion too but I have seen I've never seen a more kind of 50 50 split on kind of a fan base on who

they want to start for their team Arkansas fans let me know in the comments after the video too if you're watching right now chime in who do you want to start at center you want big Caleb oh or Cooper Bowser who do you want who do you want guys because you have a kind of unproven reclass freshman but the physical tools jump off the screen when you watch this guy just attacks rebounds but he's young then you have Cooper Bowser played in March madness last year got some good games against good competition but I've heard some some concerning reports and then a little bit of a concerning effort in the Bahamas Arkansas fans who do you want to start at the center spot Sean gave his comment of course Sean not an Arkansas fan but Phil says start the season with Cooper and it with Caleb let that be kind of the the mixture now Poo Bear who ever told you that

Cooper Bowser was the fourth string center right they they don't know what the hell they're talking about I'd like to just admit that argument here I just that was never going to be the case so someone having a little fun there with Boo Bear but um yeah see I don't think Phil's answer is that off off base here like I think you're you're bringing in a guy who has proven experience and you see how that works out at the beginning and remember too we always say this never has like being a starter mintless right you know it's like if you would have phrased that question who plays more minutes than it may be a different answer um so maybe I should phrase those who do you want to be your guy yeah sure you know who's your guy at center you want Caleb oh or Bowser or both yeah I mean look again in a perfect world like sure like I can understand some people like hey maybe just

Bowser just need to be the four but I mean again you have what you're working with here and I don't know I think that's what you want yeah Phil I mean eventually you want Caleb oh to be your guy yeah what happened from game one I don't know but that's probably what you want maybe a little minutes distribution from Landel Lake's looking something like 15 minutes for Caleb oh 10 minutes for both Cooper and Mecha and then maybe five for a maker yeah that sounds all right I mean let's see if we go back I'm curious to compare you know yeah it's like okay last year if you take your big mint right Brazil 31 and a half minutes a game Maliki you in 21 minutes Nick Pringle 19 minutes and that was it like so you only have three basically in terms of like your true front court guys so they played a lot more minutes but this year yeah I feel like that number is going to be going down a bit the words much more spread out probably and look the guard plan it's going

to be hard to take Jordan Smith Billy Richmond Jeremiah Wilkinson off the floor but yet you're going to want to get JJ Andrews to Ray baby on Thompson so it's like there's only so many minutes to go around but I think you are going to see more of a musical chairs type in the front court I would think the reason why I bring it up though is just because I've seen kind of a growing confidence in Caleb oh within the within Arkansas you know practice reports watching Kevin stuff Kevin's updates and so my cake maybe maybe should I put Caleb oh is a starter on the on the depth chart I won't right now but I think just here you know at southeastern 16 and in the chat we're going to probably have a little bit bigger of an expectation for Caleb oh then the national media might have yeah um all right sorry let me catch up by the way I forgot we we didn't miss some super chats Michael two dollars uh talk about our guy Cole at the pad um and then Darryl two dollars

that's five so we met our super chat goal we will get some SEC basketball trivia questions coming up here in just a minute um so we appreciate you guys we had our super chat goal for the day all right I'll give you kind of a a quick cater room the way out okay right but in order to do it I need you to pull up LSU's depth chart okay coming right all right so I'm gonna need LSU's depth chart and uh I'm gonna go with the low hanging fruit here for my final question of course we had to save this for the grand finale yep but you currently see 12 players on the LSU Max Barg depth chart how many of these players are gonna be playing for LSU come November the whatever you had to just grab a number and we're just gonna play the fun guessing game chat you can have fun with this too right now give me your most confident number of the guys we see on the screen yeah just the ones on the screen I'd say I'd say two of them don't don't make it

all right so you're gonna say that 10 you're gonna say 10 guys all right so I yeah because all right if we break this down who are who are the guys in the same position no worries about the dent and Clark at least right now right good right now okay desire Nying who's the other one that ruse it's in there ruse it's but then Santos and Levy or Levy are also internationals yeah okay I want to go with you said nine no you said 10 you're gonna take two of them Nunez divine Hugo Bashir Bender Modi those are five that are good 100% five that are good so then you have dent and Clark that are

being helped by the TRO right now but if that gets you know state or reversed yeah there's so many people that are in that boat right now though you have dent and Clark's I'll say they're good so there's seven and then out of the five internationals I'll go three out of three out of five get it all right I'm gonna give you a trick answer I'm gonna say I'm gonna say nine would be my first initial answer I'm gonna say 12 if LSU is not in a conference the season they're just gonna say you know what we're gonna play everyone good luck um there you have it so I don't think it's stronger like LSU has gotten a ton of of obviously everything and RJ Lewis is not RJ Lewis is not an option yeah but given the just just this these guys right here I don't think there's anything insane from this it's just

it's internationals and then it's two grads and dent and and Clark if RJ Lewis was on the graphic though we'd have pitchforks up so why I went nine is because I think those three internationals are the ones I have the biggest questions about yeah and I think my answer would maybe be more specifically I could see all these guys playing but let's say like by the end of the season maybe those three guys are like you know so it's just I felt like I'm sort of hedging my bets here on I could actually see this entire group on the floor for LSU but I don't know the timeline of what that looks like that's more complicated to me so if they didn't try the RJ Lewis if they didn't try that I would have a much lighter opinion on the on every on you know pushing the boundaries because this right here is just two five for five guys and some internationals like everybody else does it's just the RJ Lewis is that's that's way out there yeah all right there you go some questions

we want answered an SEC basketball I'm sure there's many others we could have gotten to but there's some to kind of again catch your interest here as we get closer to the start of the season and obviously as Max talked about earlier some pretty big defining dates when it comes to some of these decisions on players and such so all right but as promised we said if we got to five super chats which we did hit our goal for this show we would get to trivia SEC basketball trivia quick hitters here and we'll have some fun with these as well and see what we can come up with all right Max are you ready let's let's let's do it all right let's see I got I got a full list of questions here but

yeah this is tough like this is because I'm like I want to ask you one that I don't think you're going to know you should know this one but I'll give you I'll give you a layup to start okay all right which SEC team came the first conference team other than Kentucky to win a national championship basketball Florida yeah that is incorrect sir that isn't correct you want to take a second guess no no you only want to take a second guess huh so if it's not if it's not Florida it's got to be in the 90s or 80s or further I'm not going to know the hogs

this sure 1994 now this is this is an SEC basketball trivia site and like I do want to double check some of these answers but I believe it would be Florida unless there's someone I'm forgetting now look you you make a way way back when um and again this may be where this SEC basketball trivia site is missing some so you guys can let us know but um that is an interesting one I thought so was this the coreless uh yeah yeah I should have known all right do you want to give me a question or you're gonna give you another yeah I got one for you I got one for you okay all right all all right now this one is a little bit like I don't know if you're gonna it can go can go multiple different ways um since 1986 87 all the way back to then the same guy is has number one and number two who leads the SEC in single season three point field goal attempts since 86 87 the

same guy in two different seasons has number one and number two three point attempts since 86 87 um wasn't absolutely is it Marshall? Marshall? Marshall? Yeah, 12 and 1314 so it goes number number seven is Jacobi Gillespie 305 from this past year then you go Chris Lofton at 6307 Chazlinier 311 310 SE guys in a row then Hubbard from two years ago with 313 Bryce Brown 344 okay Bryce 344 then Henderson is 377 and 394 three Josh Hubbard's most attempts are 313 Marshall Henderson attempted 394

that is insane that is wild um yeah that's wild um but I mean yeah if you think about it though like he it makes sense like just based on kind of what he that was his game right so um Hubbard that's an interesting one start shooting them start shooting them already yeah all right let me see I got I think I've got one more for you but I want to see if this is again some of these I'm like I'm trying to double check because this I mean some of these answers are absolutely right on this SEC basketball trivia site um but like some of these are absolutely not uh I can already tell so here's here's one I think would catch some people by surprise all right now it's sort of a trick question but not really who is the leading score on Florida's 2000 set that championship

Florida fans you say it's you say like I'm gonna get tricked it's not a trick it's just the leading score like it's not a trick um I wanted as my first the first thought in my head was brewer and then I'm like it can't be if he's gonna trick me I'm not trying to trick you he's trying to trick me yeah go hoorford hoorford so the top score was Torian green who averaged 13.3 points per game al hoorford and kory brewer your first initial thoughts averaged 13.2 points per game oh he didn't make sorry point one differential and that's why that was such a good question is because that is

like your ultimate trivia question right there your first instinct was pretty much spot on but that point one the toy and green had over those two guys tremendous tremendous stuff so great just thought all right there you go all right there you go guys a little little five minute fun with some SEC basketball trivia we'll do more of this um I also like I'm starting to wonder about this who else wanted a national championship I think it took you the first one that got there was it someone else like I don't know if it was Arkansas I wonder if this is back actually accurate am I forgetting someone winning a national championship um now remember they had to be in the SEC at the time so I'm like I'm trying to try to remember if there's someone I'm forgetting but I don't know we'll see all right I think it was Arkansas all right guys we appreciate you as always Mike is saying Alabama 1940 I yeah still know what's great game you don't remember that one I don't know I don't know I don't

remember that one but someone can film me on the details of if that one if it's accurate so um I don't I don't know if I don't find it on that so all right we appreciate you guys hit the like button hit the subscribe button turn on your notifications you know we post new videos here on the channel remember check out all of our football stuff as well big game coming up for the cats and the Bama fans this week first SEC on SEC action um and uh yeah stay with said also that game that they call Texas and Ohio State this weekend also we will be doing a live show live watch party for Texas Ohio State doing a live watch party for Alabama Kentucky and we're gonna do it one on Friday night from Missouri and Kansas so hop on in join me Billy Jones and company and we're gonna do yeah our live watch along so those were big success this past weekend so come in there have some fun with us and talk about these games uh yes holly football watch along so we have three of those this weekend so join us for those and then
