It is the Jesse Kelly Show, another hour
of the Jesse Kelly Show on a wonderful Wednesday,
all hope day, and so we're going to talk about setting
the narrative here in just a couple of minutes.
I have a little gripe with my son.
I actually might open with that really quickly
before we get to setting the narrative.
Sorry, Chris, it has to air out my dirty laundry.
Get to some emails.
Some ugly poll numbers are taken
Winston Churchill, Churchill?
So Churchill, off the dollar in the Europe,
in England, I guess, if you have to be specific,
all that more coming up on the world
of famous Jesse Kelly Show.
So question.
It's more of a question than a statement.
There's this pizza place, close by our house.
We have been to this pizza place three times.
One of those places, I don't even know if they deliver,
maybe they do, but you go in, you sit down,
family, restaurant, you just, everyone orders a pizza.
Pizza, you get spaghetti, you know what it is.
My son has been there three times.
All three times he's been there.
He has ordered a pepperoni cow zone.
Pepperoni cow zone, which is very good.
I admit, I got it one time, it's very good.
He says that he should be able to call that the usual.
I'm going to get the usual.
My argument is you can't call something the usual
until someone who works in the restaurant
can be told that you'll have the usual
and they know what to bring you and they'll bring it to you.
You can't decide that something is the usual.
A member of the wait staff has to decide
something's the usual.
The second you can sit down and say, Tina,
I'll have the usual and she brings you
a pepperoni cow zone, then it becomes your usual.
You don't have a usual at 15.
You don't even have money.
You've been in there three times.
Right now it's just what you order.
Chris, am I crazy on that?
Am I...
Thank you, Chris.
And for Chris to set up, Tina doesn't even know his name.
He can't have a usual 100%.
She doesn't know he friggin exists.
Yeah.
Anyway, the media lies coming to slide
about everything all the time, you know.
I think our reverence for the truth
might become, might have become a bit of a distraction
that is preventing us from finding consensus
and getting important things done.
Now, let's talk about you or me.
What if I'm walking out of the studio today
and I run into you and I say, hey,
I'm looking for a Red Lobster.
I'm not from here.
Tell me where there's a Red Lobster.
And you say, oh, I got you covered.
Just take off two miles up this road right here.
On the right, you'll find a Red Lobster, okay?
I get my ride, I take off towards Red Lobster.
Then, after I leave, you say, oh, gosh.
I forgot that Red Lobster closed down last year.
Oh, I'm such an idiot.
I just send him to the wrong Red Lobster.
The next time you see me, what would you say to me?
Hey, man, sorry.
I'm an idiot.
I forgot.
I sent you to the wrong place.
Okay?
Why would you say that?
Well, you lied to me.
Even though you didn't mean to lie to me,
you didn't mislead me.
It led me astray.
And now you feel badly enough about it
that the next time we get together,
you feel the need to apologize.
You feel obligated to apologize, okay?
Please remember that the Communist
does not share your values.
In fact, the Communist lies on purpose
all the time about everything.
And if he ever apologizes, he will put as much distance
between the lie and his apology
as humanly possible for a reason.
Here's an example, an amazing example.
Disheartening as can be, but an amazing example.
You obviously remember the assassination
of Charlie Kirk.
It was six months ago.
We know, at least we think we know,
by all the DNA evidence and what's going on at the trial,
that there was a gay communist who killed Charlie Kirk,
the gay communist had a trainee boyfriend.
Family says the guy turned to the left.
You got all that.
So Charlie Kirk was assassinated by a gay communist.
You got that.
I got that.
There was a poll.
Chris grabbed that Jimmy Kimmel clip
about Charlie Kirk, by the way.
There was a poll taken.
And I believe this was taken four days
after Charlie Kirk was assassinated.
And that's when this was still the biggest story
by far in the United States of America.
Remember, this was an international story
at the time it happened.
I have friends who do work internationally.
They were in European meetings about oil
being asked about Charlie Kirk.
Is everyone holding up okay?
International story.
Four days after Charlie Kirk was assassinated.
Let me read something for you here.
The article was from the Miami Herald,
but they were citing a poll.
24% said that as far as they know,
the person who shot Kirk is a Republican.
Do you want to know what percentage
thought the assassin was a Democrat?
21.
21%.
How's that humanly possible?
Well, after Charlie Kirk was assassinated by a communist,
the communists in the American media,
they knew that the revolution didn't look good
in that moment.
And so they decided to do what they always do.
Hey, why don't we just lie?
We had some new lows over the weekend
with the Magigang desperately trying to characterize
this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk
as anything other than one of them
and do everything they can to score a poll.
We got it.
You probably saw it online.
You saw it in other media outlets over and over
and over again, a big, gigantic, easily verifiable lie.
And of course, all that has come completely unraveled now,
but it was too late, three or four days after the assassination,
a higher percentage of the American public thought
it was a Republican and not a Democrat
because communists understand something.
The losers in the low TGOP have never understood
ever in a million years.
And that is the power of being the first one
to set the narrative.
The narrative, if you can make people believe something
in 24 to 48 hours, the chances,
the truth coming out will change their mind
are unbelievably small.
How many Democrats do you know
think Donald Trump told them to inject themselves with bleach?
It's on camera what he said.
How many?
How many Democrats do you know
think Donald Trump colluded with Russia?
All that's out there now, it's ridiculous.
How many do you know?
I could go down the list.
How many Democrats do you know
think George Floyd was killed by a police officer?
Remember, keep in mind, the doctor said it was an overdose.
I could go down the list, lie after lie,
after lie, after lie, after lie.
Why do all the Democrats in this country,
why do a large percentage of the population believe these lies?
Because communists are shameless and evil enough
to simply lie when they understand its narrative setting time.
Whenever the movement is in jeopardy,
whenever the movement can be propelled forward,
whatever needs to be done for the revolution,
you must say it and the communist knows it.
He knows it all the way.
Do you want an example?
We just had a jihaddi.
He showed up actually to jihaddi,
he showed up in New York City,
and they threw bombs at these anti-Mamdani protesters.
Bombs were thrown at anti-Mamdani protesters.
Here is Abby Philip on CNN last time.
Two Republicans say Muslims don't belong here
after an attempted terror attack against New York's mayor,
Zoran Mamdani, and the house...
Here is Anna Navarro, that's the same show.
Supposedly, some of these comments are as a result
of the attempt against Mayor Mandani in New York,
who was raised Muslim, was...
That went out to how many people,
how many Democrats sat at home watching CNN,
heard that and believe it.
How many Democrats in this country,
how many Americans in this country today
believe there was an attempted assassination
of Mamdani in New York City?
Oh, oh, I don't...
Abby Philip put out a public statement today.
I want to correct something I said last night.
The bombs thrown in New York City
over the weekend by ISIS-inspired attackers,
was thrown into a crowd of anti-Muslim protesters
and not specifically targeted at Mayor Mandani.
That wording was inaccurate
and I didn't catch it ahead of time.
I apologize for the error.
But it's too late.
It is the Jesse Kelly show
on a magnificent Wednesday.
Remember, you can email the show,
jessie-app-jessice-show.com.
I don't want to get to this,
these ugly poll numbers and things right now.
We're going to go ahead and set that aside
for a little bit.
Let's do some emails.
Anyway, I owe that.
I owe you that.
Jesse-app-jessice-show.com.
The subject of this one is disagree with you.
Jesse, I listened to your shows one day late.
I listened on the podcast that, by the way,
part of the show, you can just podcast it.
Like half our listeners podcast it.
I heart-spotify iTunes.
Your Tuesday episode, you were saying
the American people don't care about Iran.
They're more concerned about the increase in crime,
cost of groceries, etc.
Jesse, Jesse, crime rates have gone down
since the country started deporting illegals
unless I misunderstood your statements
and so on and so forth.
Well, no, it's not about crime.
That's not at all what I was saying.
Not at all.
And that's not what the poll referenced.
Here.
All right.
Well, you asked the question.
I'll go ahead and play it.
This is...
We play him a lot.
The Harry Enten is his name.
He monitors all kinds of different polls.
He's like the poll guy.
He goes on and he talks about trends.
We play him all the time.
And usually he's talking about that.
People hate Democrats.
People hate Democrats.
People hate Democrats.
So don't think this is some dirty coming.
Here he is.
If you look right now, you look at a Fox News poll
that recently came out.
Look at this.
Say the Trump at Mint is focused on the wrong things.
60% overall say that the Trump administration
is focused on the wrong things.
Look at that.
78% of independence say that the Trump administration
is focused on the wrong things.
I mean, how does that work?
How does that work politically, John?
I don't understand how that works,
especially if those numbers hold to the midterm elections.
Go ahead.
Remember, pause for a second.
The conversation we're about to have
is going to make you squirm in your seat.
I don't love it either.
Don't send me your email yelling about the poll numbers.
Don't do that.
We're going to sit here and have a big boy adult conversation.
This is not your mommy's show.
It's your daddy's show.
Here he is some more.
Here's more.
Yeah, okay.
See, you know, look, we've been talking about the House
and pretty much every historical market.
All the prediction markets.
All the polling indicates that the Democrats
are in the Capitol seat when it comes back to taking back the House.
But how about combining it with the United States Senate?
That is taking back the whole inch of a lot of taking back
all of Congress.
And what we see is the Democrats' chance of doing that
has been rising, rising, rising.
On a stairway to heaven, my dear friend.
And what we see there is that Democrats at this particular point
have been increasing those odds.
It's not yet at 50%, but it is clearly rising.
And that is something that I think is quite shocking.
Because a lot of folks like myself thought that Democrats
would take back the House.
But the idea of taking back the Senate as well,
well, that is a pretty big deal.
Pause for a second.
Maybe right now you're saying,
but Jesse, I saw the poll numbers.
Donald Trump has 84% approval with Republicans.
Donald Trump has 92% approval with Republicans.
Jesse, I don't understand.
Okay.
A basic of politics is this.
Democrats are going to vote Democrat.
Republicans are going to vote Republican.
As we've explained, my vote doesn't change elections
and neither does yours.
What matters are independence.
These people who go whichever way the wind blows
and that frustrates me and it frustrates you.
I know that.
But they are the people who decide elections.
So how could this be?
We're going to lose the House.
It looks like possibly that we don't know that yet, by the way.
We might even use the Senate.
Now that would be catastrophic if we lost the Senate.
But how could that possibly be?
As I said, it's not about Republican approval.
It's this.
Independence, independence, independence.
The center of the electorate.
We have been talking about how Trump has been just downright awful with them.
And I decided we're going to look back and compare it to other presidents this century
at this point in their second term.
Compare it to George Bush.
Compare it to Barack Obama.
And look at that.
38 points underwater at this point.
That is worse than Obama by 20 points.
That is worse than George W. Bush by double digits.
And of course, George W. Bush's second term went way well.
Katrina, Iraq, ultimately the great recession as well.
So that is not a comparison.
No, you don't like that.
Calm down.
Remember calm down.
It is not November yet.
We are not at the midterms yet.
This is not the time to panic and cry or scream or send me that stupid angry junk or neat drunk and email.
But I love Trump.
I don't care about any of that.
Now's the time to figure out what is happening and why is it happening because we still have time to turn this around.
It's what is it?
Chris March 11th?
March 11th.
I think it's March 11th.
It's March 11th.
We have time before November to turn these numbers around.
But you know what will not help us turn these numbers around?
I promise you.
Cross my heart and hope to die.
You know it will not help us turn these numbers around.
Everything's fine.
No.
Trump's great.
That doesn't help anyone.
I cannot stomach the thought of Communists taking power again in this country.
I don't want that and I know you don't want that either.
In order to prevent that, we have to have an honest discussion about what is happening and why is it happening.
Okay, so we just played it for you.
We're losing these independence.
Who are these people and why are we losing them?
We have a breakdown here.
Hang on.
It is the Chessie Kelly Show and a magnificent Wednesday, a hump day.
All right, so we laid it out.
We're struggling a little bit right now.
Is it pertains to the midterms politically?
It's looking a little dark.
We have time to turn it around.
Let's figure out why it's looking a little dark.
What's the problem?
Look right now.
You look at a Fox News poll that recently came out.
Look at this.
Say that Trump at Mint is focused on the wrong things.
60% overall say that the Trump administration is focused on the wrong things.
Look at 60% of the country.
Independence Trump, as it currently stands, is getting slaughtered with independence.
I know Republicans, you, me, I know we're all on board.
I got that.
But it's not about us.
Slaughtered with independence.
Independence independence independence.
The center of the electorate.
We have been talking about how Trump has been just downright awful with them.
And I decided we're going to look back and compare it to other presidents this century.
At this point, in their second term, compare it to George Bush.
Compare it to Barack Obama.
And look at that.
38 points underwater at this point.
That is worse than Obama by 20 points.
That is worse than George W. Bush fight.
OK, who left us?
What's going on?
Well, I'll read you a couple numbers here.
And as I read these numbers, you might be tempted to say,
well, that doesn't sound that bad.
But remember, for instance, presidential elections.
We'll focus on those because those are the easiest to understand.
Remember how tight the margins are in presidential elections in state by state by state.
We have such a big country.
We have so many people that it's tempting to think that,
well, this election was decided by 20 million and 15 million more people voted there.
But you actually look at the breakdown of presidential elections.
It's, well, this critical swing state, 20,000 votes decided this.
15,000 votes decided that it's not that many votes,
meaning you don't have to lose too many of this group or that group.
Or that group to lose everything.
You lose a little bit here.
You lose a little bit there.
And you lose it all.
So here's one.
It's just one poll, right?
That's just one poll.
But it's a breakdown, a breakdown.
The headline of it is Trump has lost the most support amongst his younger,
non-white, and lower income voters.
Now, pause.
I'm not going to break this whole thing down.
It's too nerdy in detail.
It's too confusing.
Who has he lost?
Now, these are people who voted for Trump.
All right.
We're not talking about dirty commies here.
Forget them.
People who voted for Trump.
Black people by the largest margin have decided eyes not for me.
The next group.
People age 30 to 44.
The next group.
People who make less than $50,000 a year.
The next group.
People age 18 to 29.
Okay.
You got it.
All right.
We got it.
So we're talking about young, low income, often minority groups.
They are the independence who are leaving us in droves.
All right.
So who's holding on strong?
People age 65 plus.
Families that make $100,000 a year plus.
White college educated.
White non-college educated.
Those are the groups that are holding on strong.
Still holding Trump.
Still holding Trump.
Still holding Trump.
All right.
Why?
What's going on?
It's actually quite simple if you just look at the list.
The people who are upper middle class.
To rich.
More financially stable.
They are pleased with the way things are going.
People who don't make as much money.
Who don't have the same financial situation as the upper ones.
They are frustrated and they are leaving us.
They don't feel like we care.
Now pause.
Don't start screaming at me.
The point is we have to have those people or we lose elections.
Don't yell at me as if I'm there.
Well, they shouldn't.
What are they stupid?
Stop that.
We have to get them back.
I'm just telling you what's there.
We have to get them back.
What's the problem?
This comes back to what I have been warning about.
And I believe Trump knows it.
And that's why he's using a lot of the same rhetoric he's using right now.
When it comes to various things that are happening internationally.
And it's more than just Iran, various things.
Trump continues to do a bunch of things internationally.
While saying we're almost done.
It's almost over.
Every time now he's asked about Iran.
Well, we're wrapping things up.
We're ahead of schedule.
He loves to say that.
Should be gone soon.
We're ahead of schedule.
We're ahead of schedule.
Now pause.
Maybe you're sitting there saying Jesse.
The Ayatollah is evil.
We have to wipe out this evil regime.
They've been killing Americans for years.
They sponsor terrorism.
Okay.
No, I got that.
I'm not.
We're not arguing about Iran.
You're not arguing that with me.
You don't have to sell that to me.
Now, here's who you have to sell it to.
Young black man makes $35,000 this year.
Over the last five years, inflation has wiped out his discretionary income such as it was.
Used to be able to take the old lady down to Chuck E. Cheese on a Friday night and enjoy it.
Now he can't.
Don't sell me Iran or anything else that's going on in Ashley.
Don't sell me.
I would you just go through this exercise in your head.
Sit down across the table from him and tell him.
White matters.
Make him care.
Well, the Ayatollah didn't give a crap about the Ayatollah.
People make it again, back to the list, making less than $50,000 a year.
Power bills getting hard to pay.
Insurance completely unaffordable.
Many people are going without insurance.
Record credit card debt.
But Jesse, you don't understand the terror.
No, no, no, I do understand.
No, you're not talking to me.
I'm already voting for Trump.
I'm voting for the GOP in the midterms.
You're not talking to me.
You're talking to these people.
Listen to what they're saying.
If you look right now, you look at a Fox News poll that recently came out.
Look at this.
Say that Trump at Mint is focused on the wrong things.
60% overall say that the Trump administration is focused on the wrong things.
But Jesse, 93% of Republicans say they support Trump.
Well, yeah, of course.
That's the same with every party all the time.
93% of Democrats support Joe Biden when he did what he did.
93% of Republicans.
Those aren't the people who decide elections.
They don't.
It's not just going to be Republicans voting in the midterms.
As I have warned repeatedly and as Donald Trump knows, you care about foreign policy
when you're bored, when you're comfortable.
When you got all the money in the world, the bills are paid.
The wife is half the foods on the table.
You want to take her out to Red Lobster anytime.
That's when you sit down and obsess about Russia Ukraine.
Well, what's going on with the Russians?
I hope they're not able to defend.
You don't give a rat crap about Russia Ukraine.
When you just found out you can't renew your family's health insurance plan because you can't afford it.
You can hardly afford to pay the bills.
You're barely making ends meet.
You got a 16-year-old who wants to go to college and now you've already accepted the fact
you won't be able to pay for a single dime of that.
So you have to figure out how to get her a college loan.
That guy doesn't care.
And you, if you want him to care, I get it.
Sell it to him.
And you better figure out how to sell it to him in mass.
Now, I spoil something else for you.
I don't care about Venezuela either.
They don't.
I thought Venezuela was as cool as you did.
I thought it was really freaking cool.
If you think the American primary voter is going to vote in November of this year
because we did something cool in November,
well, I've got some oceanfront property in Arizona.
I'd love to sell you.
He doesn't care.
It is the Jesse Kelly show on an amazing, fantastic Wednesday, a hump day.
So a couple other Iran items for you.
Because I got an email and I got something else about this straight of Hormuz stuff.
And then we'll move on to other stuff.
We have to talk about the Epstein hackers.
And Trump is mad at Massey and a treasure hunter and all kinds of stuff.
This guy says, hey, Jesse, please discuss why it wouldn't be more sensible
to commandeer all these ships.
He's talking about the Iranian navy and take them captive and sell them
rather than blowing them out of the water.
What sense is that?
All right.
I've actually had quite a few emails along those lines.
Why are we just blowing this navy out of the water instead of grabbing them?
First, back to what we just said.
Donald Trump knows everything I just said is true.
So if you're emailing me, yelling at me, email the president.
He knows it's true.
He knows he has to find an off ramp here and come back home.
They chose to do this, find, cats out of the bag.
We need to win and come back home.
He knows that.
He also knows that we can't afford bad headlines.
We can't.
If you've seen that story about the bomb, the missile,
whatever that dropped on the school kids, Trump was asked about it.
I don't know if it works as a military investigation.
It has found it was the United States that dropped it for.
I don't know.
It's over 150 dead kids.
All right.
Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana, not exactly an anti-Trump guy,
was a little bit more frank when he sat down with CNN.
He said this.
Because I think it's the truth.
I mean, we're investigating.
But I'm not going to hide behind that.
I think it was a terrible terrible mistake.
The investigation may prove me wrong.
I hope so.
The kids are still dead.
But I think it was a horrible, horrible mistake.
I wish it hadn't happened.
I'm sorry it happened.
Yeah, I can assure you it wasn't.
Okay.
Obviously it wasn't intentional.
Terrible beyond belief.
We're not going to focus on that.
But they're still going to put out an official statement.
But Senator John Kennedy is someone who would know.
And it sure sounds like that official statement is not going to be good for us.
I don't know when that official statement will be put out.
Maybe tonight or tomorrow.
Maybe this weekend.
Do you have any idea what not the American media?
What the worldwide media is going to do?
With the fact that it looks like an American munition dropped on 150 Iranian school kids and killed them.
Do you know what the news cycle is going to be?
Let's let's rewrite rewind.
Independence independence independence.
The center of the electorate.
We have been talking about how Trump has been just downright awful with them.
And I decided we're going to look back and compare it to other presidents this century at this point in their second term.
Compare it to George Bush.
Compare it to Barack Obama.
And look at that.
38 points underwater at this point.
That is worse than...
That's before the news headlines hit that we vaporized 150 school kids.
Why aren't we boarding and taking Iranian ships?
Because boarding and taking a moving ship is tactically one of the most difficult military operations you can do.
Many people without the proper technology find it flat out impossible.
If you start trying to board and commandeer Iranian Navy ships, you're going to lose men.
We can't afford those headlines right now.
It's not just the lost lives.
Look, I'm talking about this politically.
It's not just the lives we can't lose.
The Trump administration cannot afford a headline right now of five Navy SEALs killed taking an Iranian destroyer.
That we don't have wiggle room.
We not only have to off ramp here, we have to off ramp fairly cleanly.
All right?
We have to off ramp fairly cleanly.
The public, the independence are not bought in enough to take casualties.
They're not.
I know MAGA is.
I understand that.
Independence are not.
They are not with us.
We have not been able to make them care.
It has not been sold.
I warned about that before it even began.
It went forward anyway.
It has not been sold to the Normies.
Therefore, the Normies are not going to be understanding if 10 Navy SEALs are killed trying to take an Iranian ship.
They are not.
Which brings me to the final part.
And then I'll finally get to stop talking about this God forsaken little conflict.
The Strait of Hormuz.
You already know what it is.
Explain it many times.
20% of the world's oil flows through it.
Greatly affects gas prices, things like that.
I know you saw this morning.
Maybe you didn't.
We already have oil tankers going up in flames.
The Iranians are hitting oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz.
How and why is that happening when we wipe their Navy off the map?
The Iranians understand something.
This is something that's not uncommon in the history of warfare.
If your technology is so inferior to the other guy's technology, stop trying to match him.
And simply go lower than his technology will allow.
The Iranians have mines.
They can drop in the Strait of Hormuz and they have little fishing vessels going out there
dropping them in the Strait of Hormuz.
And that's a problem.
Because you're not going to pick them up.
You're not going to be able to take them all out.
How many oil tankers does it take to go up in flames before the international oil companies
and other countries stop sending anything through it?
Not very many.
The off ramp is getting harder to see as I warned over and over and over again.
Easy to break things, harder to make things.
Easy, remarkably easy to start a war.
Very easy.
Stopping a war.
Very, very difficult.
That's the way it is.
Remove an office.
We still have an hour.

This is Chelsea, handler from Dear Chelsea.
After the big game like most people, I kept thinking about the commercials and there was one that stayed with me.
It was from the Blue Square Alliance against hate and it wasn't loud or flashy.
It showed a Jewish kid being targeted at school and another student who chose not to ignore it.
As someone who was Jewish that moment felt very real to me.
Not dramatic, just familiar.
And what struck me was how clearly it showed that hate doesn't always announce itself.
But the impact is still huge.
If you saw the Blue Square spot during the big game, it's worth thinking about.
And if you want to show support, sharing the Blue Square is one small way to do that.
