Freight rail does more than move goods. It drives America's economy. Every dollar invested
generates another $2.50 in economic activity, spurring growth from farms to factories.
And here's the best part. Freight railroads fund their own infrastructure, saving taxpayers'
billions while powering the economy forward, from reducing highway congestion to delivering
goods safely and efficiently. Freight rail keeps America moving.

Here's a shift worth noting. Better health care is care that meets patients where they are.
United health group is bringing it directly to living rooms. This is a win for patients managing
chronic conditions. And here's the interesting thing. By closing those care gaps, administering
in-home exams and identifying risks earlier, more diseases can be prevented and patient outcomes
can improve. In 2025 alone, United health group patients received over 19 million home visits.

I really don't believe you because I was going to use it.
Oh man, well done boys. I was going to wear my Ireland hat that we got at the
Lepertown. But track and I assumed it was green. It's not green. Yeah, my sock hat is blue from Ireland.
Yeah, I don't know. They don't like the green. They started associated with this green.
I have plenty of stuff that I bought from Ireland that is green, but I got this from Garden Gold
before going over to Ireland. So I just got to curse the program. I don't trip curse the program.
You know, that picture of the Warchant staff. There was just a glorious photo. All of us in Ireland
with the field behind us. It was awesome. It was such a good time. Yep.
Until the game. And that is the program too. But I've never let I've never blamed
a Viva Stadium. I've never blamed the fine folks of Ireland. I've never blamed George
the tech. I've just blamed Mike Norvell. Right. He's fair. That's fair. I feel like they
gave us insight as to what was coming, boys. Well, the next two years, we're also not blaming
the register sausage. No, we'll never blame them. Got a great text last night from our guy, Nick
Nick Carlisle. Okay. Yeah. Right. Because he got some of the registers up in him.
For breakfast, he did breakfast or dinner. And he was like, dude, you guys weren't lying about
this. We don't we don't ever lie. I don't think we've ever had a sponsor. We haven't had many
because they're so loyal. We just ride with them. Ride that we haven't believed in. I mean,
we don't we don't spouse nonsense. Registers is legit. It is legit. The ironic part was I was
just finishing our dinner. We had the box jambalaya. Oh, you got back with your hand doing
a roll. Yeah, it was good stuff. Yeah, go to registermeets.com. That's the website. You can have
registers delivered to you. If you're in this part of the state or this part of the country,
you can go to your local grocery store. If they don't have it, talk to the meat manager.
We don't have to coach you up on this. We've been talking about this for long years.
Yeah. Don't text me. Don't email me. Don't complain to me. Take it in your own hands. Take
them to court. Oh, that's what. Yeah, it's going to say. Take them to court.
Water. Water. Yeah. Rain, man. Well, Doug Luellum. Doug Luellum. Doug Luellum. Yeah.
Anyway, good. Registers. I mean, you can have it delivered. I don't think so. I think I did this last
time. I read inevitably once a month. We'll bring up the people's court because it's a 45-year-old
reference. And I think I said RIP Doug Luellum, but I think he's actually alive. Yeah, why?
By the way long, but Judge Million, and I think they've, they're retired. They've done,
they're done too. Yeah. That was a big fan of Judge Million. I don't even know who you're talking
about. He stayed on board after all the real stars of the, oh, here it is. Yeah, Iro, Iro,
Iro is just a court. He loves people's court on court. Oh, the court. I love all the court
shows. Judge Mathis, Judge Joe Brown, Judge Judy. Did you watch Judge Judy? I didn't like her as
much. Judge Mathis played in a charity basketball tournament in Thomasville when I was back in Thomasville
in the mid 90s. He had a charity basketball tournament brought back a bunch of NBA guys. It was
really cool. Yeah. And Judge Mathis was played. He was a short, short dude. I don't know who he is.
Yeah, you don't know who Judge Mathis is. I think he's still on. He's on the court. The
court shows are all right. Yeah, I don't, I lost track after water. That's how far back. I mean,
I know Judge Judy. And that's about it. Judge Reinhold. I remember him. That's a, that's a,
there's another, that's a, that's a, that's a wrap. He is though. I, he is. I don't all right. Yeah,
no, all right. He's the back on the rails for him. Uh, uh, say Patrick's day edition. We can do
whatever we want. Yeah. I'm taking the rest of the week off as well. I heard. Yeah. We're going.
I don't know. We're, oh, just not here. Just not here. That's right. I may be on a golf course. I
mean, that's fair. Yeah, there's, by the March man starts on Thursday. Yeah, it's good.
It actually starts tonight, Corey. Sure. It starts Thursday. I actually don't think it does start
tonight. Do you think it, do you think it, is it hurt the tournament polls having the Tuesday
thing? I hate it. No, I don't think it's hurt. The pool. No, I think you still, when you fill
them out, it was just says, but you still, it would say, you know, five seed verse, either in C state
or Texas, Texas, whoever they're whoever they're. By the way, I do think, I do think the internet is
kind of ruined the, the bracket thing. Now, not meaning that there's fewer people doing it,
but the joy of filling it out the way we once did. Remember when you'd get the newspaper,
ladies and gentlemen, and open it up and all of it's glory and all of it's splendor and I would write
it in. Yeah. And you'd have one, you'd have one bracket. You wouldn't get 50. He carried it around
with you. Yeah. So when your friends and how you do, well, I don't know, let's find out and you'd
pull it all the way open and be like, well, I lost that one, but we're good here. Look at this
bracket. Yeah. I love CBS does it for you. Yeah. I don't like it. Yeah. I love that. We're old school.
We're the beta. The printed brackets suck too. I don't like it. I want the big old newspaper.
Well, trivia for you. I don't know if you know this. You might not, you weren't living in
Tallahassee yet. Okay. The first time I ever communicated with Jeff Cameron,
he was emailing him when you were doing the bracket for the candy box. Yeah. We did the candy
brackets. Yeah. It was stolen by any number of other people around the country. I'm serious.
It was ridiculous. Yeah. We did the candy back. We also did breakfast cereals one year. Yeah.
But I emailed that. Not this year. You're not doing anything. I emailed them while I thought
the zero bar. Oh, it was a dark horse. Right. It was a 12-seed. I deleted that. I also got a zero
bar kind of crack at somebody watching daytime courtroom shows. Give me a zero bar. Some
judge Judy or some zero bar. Oh, man. It's so good. So what, uh, what are the odds that this time
next year? What would you give the odds? Legitably. The nose are in that where one of us is
traveling to some destination to watch Luke's team play. Jeff said yesterday, if they don't make it,
it'll be an absolute failure. Okay. All right. That's a high percent. Well, I think I said it
differently, but I did say. Well, you didn't say it quite as empathically. I said that we won't
celebrate a non-turner experience. Yeah. Almost any new way won't be as excited. No. In the way
that we celebrated this year's turnaround. And I think that is completely fair. And I think the
head coach would agree with me. Yeah. So I mean, now they've got some heavy lifting to do in the portal
to go with all those, you know, talented young recruits at a high school. But I think that they're
going to get some of that done. I'm excited. And we're not the wait a long time because April is
when this thing starts as far as the portal. Yeah. It's coming soon. So let's go. And there's
guys already flying into it right now. Um, the leading get his average 17th game at like, I don't know.
I was going to say Villanova, but they're in the tournament. Some Ivy League kid. Holy cross.
I don't know. I know they're not Ivy League, but some kid at average 17th game and shot 45 from
three. And when I see these guys in the portal, I'm like, Luke, let's get on that. Let's get on
that. But 17th game, he might be, he might, his price might be. Well, look, man, they've been able
to convince kids who could get paid a lot more to go somewhere other than Florida state to say,
yes to four states so far. So we'll see if they're able to continue that in the portal ranks with
experienced players. That's more difficult, I think. But when you have a top 10 class, clearly,
you've got kicked your coverage. Yeah. And from a money standpoint. So however he's getting that
done, he's going to have to continue to sell that message. Terrence man's still a part of the
thing. So he's probably busy, but barely because he's playing for a team that's tanking. But uh,
that's half a league court. It is. It's awesome too. The one time the Hawks have the pelicans
big problem for it's a big one for the Hawks because the pelicans are bad too and the Hawks have
their pick, but the pelicans have no reason to tank because they don't have their first round pick.
So they're like 12 and 10 in their last 20. In the wizard three in 19. Yeah, I know. Yeah,
but still there's enough good players. The Hawks should get somebody good. But um, what was I saying?
We were talking. I just want to hear more about the Hawks. No, Terrence man or the pelicans. Terrence
man played with Hawks. Um, like Terrence man has money. And he knows people. It has
Cory. Never an immense man's mind. Never going to miss a chance. Everybody's money. Everybody's
pocket. I bet it was like, yeah, I think he's probably guaranteed $35 million in the next two years.
Oh, I think he's got more money than he knows what to do with it. I wonder if he's either
right to spend it. Who's like what? No matter how much money people have, who's looking for ways
to spend it? Like who's like, you know what? I wonder if Cory has any ways I could spend this money.
So I'm saying Terrence man being a four year player here and having the best moments of his life
and he'll get a clipper. I think you probably contribute. Well, that's what I'm saying. I'm not saying
that he needs to buy a roster. It's kind of what it sounds like. But it'd be great if he did. But
I'm saying like, you know, because you always wonder who's donating the basketball. Well, I mean,
Terrence man is more successful than most NFL guys from Florida State. Scotty Barnes makes more
money than anybody, any Florida state athlete ever has probably. Yeah. So it'd be nice. You know,
we're not asking for half of Scotty's money now, too. Two percent. When you were back at the
Gwinnett, Gwinnett, Gwinnett, the L.E. Post, where he spent the Lewis Williams money,
where you find the ways to... No, he wasn't getting paid like that back then. I mean,
he was getting paid like that. I bet he donated to South Gwinnett, though.
Did something on that note. This is problematic for all the people that have relied heavily on
either alumni or former athletes of a school. Did you see Treyekman's comments recently?
The thing about him not getting thanked or whatever. Well, no. Well, he had some of that
quarterback, right? So he had not been giving to back to UCLA,
as opposed to Oklahoma, where he was originally. And he gets phone call from UCLA. And they're like,
look, we've never really hit you up on this, but there's a quarterback. And this is the
going rate. And we really think we have a shot at it, but we got to be in the ballpark.
Could you write a check? Would you do it? And Treyek's like, you know what? I'll do it.
I'll write you the tech. So he writes the cost for the quarterback.
Quarterback transfer. Yeah, he's an organ. After one year.
Get led organ to the playoffs. And I would imagine that that is going to be pretty much.
You've seen the whole thing where Matt Liner will not allow an incoming quarterback,
even if he's a five star to wear his number, because it's a retired number. And he was like,
look, it's not about my ego. It's about the fact that I'm going to let you wear this number,
which is retired, by the way, in the rafters. And then I, he comes out of retirement,
you wear it and then transfer next year. No, man, we're doing all that.
Maybe for their second year. Maybe for the starter. Yeah, I mean, I get it. If I'm a former
player and you call me for money, like man, in this era, I'm going to give you a million dollars
so that bitch can leave next week. But you know what's interesting, though, is like something
I think from a fans perspective, a media perspective, sometimes like we think that this stuff
affects like the locker room, like the current players, because you know, the seer twins go in
the portal, they come back, Kevin wins in the portal, he's back out. And I think sometimes people,
you know, we've, we've, some of the media here, we've asked the questions of the coaches,
like, does that affect anything? And it's like me and the players don't care at all.
Well, they don't care about the business, but they do care about who gets paid what?
No, maybe do a degree, especially guys aren't performing. Correct the point.
Correct. Coach Henshaw always makes in those articles. We do Henshaw's house. He's always like
in the NFL, nobody cares what you're making as long as you produce. If you don't produce,
now they care what you were making. We care very much that you're making more than me,
who I've, you know, I'm a high school recruit. I signed. I'm here third year in the program.
You've recruited over me in the portal, both times. And this guy can't play.
Well, it's like just using a specific example, local example, like I don't know what squirrel
I got paid last year, but I'm pretty damn sure he made more than McIe Dansey.
Yeah, yeah. And McIe Dansey's out here. Look at me. I'm scoring touchdowns every week.
Well, yeah, well, am I getting a bump?
I'm blaming Gus and Tommy for that. Sure, but I mean, like is McIe Dansey? Like, man,
I might look what I'm doing. And I know, but see, I guess the other thing is,
we know what guys in the NFL make. There's a printed salary. They have to report what
their salaries are. The guys in the locker room are just guessing. We're all just guessing.
It depends on who their agent is. Yeah. I'm not going to, I'm not trying to blow your mind,
but agent's lie. And so my kind of agent might lie to him and say squirrel light is making 1.6.
You need to ask for more than that. How far away are we from Cory spending the college players money?
That's coming real soon. Just McIe Dansey want a good quarterback.
Does he want to play with a good quarterback? He's going to be like, hey, man, let's
re-structure. You want two million or do you want 1.3 and get a good title?
Trying to win some games around this. Let's re-structure, man. What does Duce do with how selfish
is Duce that he takes that money? Well, you should call Dominic. We've got his number and you
should ask him, hey, man, tell your son. Trying to win some games. Well, when games,
you just want to catch some jump balls. Yeah, let's go. You want to deal? I'm in or not?
Yeah. You think squirrel white, well, attempting to, you know, showcase his wares to the NFL scouts
was like, well, now you'll see on this player. White open. I could not be more open. This ball is
not within the frame. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm open. He threw this into the stands, but look who was
playing. Actually, he tucked it. He tucked it right in for two yards. I'm going to explain to you
my route here. So the corner is playing over. So I'm in and I ran this route perfectly. Yeah.
Well, look, I gave him a little dip with my shoulder. Yeah, yeah. This is perfectly done.
Had I been in any other offense with a row quarterback, that's a catch for 12 first down. Yeah,
that probably happened. Even the first down signal right now that I never got to do last year. He
did. Yeah, the one time, the one catch against Alabama in the first drive. And that was a wrap.
That was a wrap on his first downs for the year, best throw by Tommy of the season. That one
in the back shoulder on the left side of his Virginia, which was a laser. Probably an NFL throw
10 out of 10 times. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's, I think we found, finally found something. I think
because the standard for we've never been more wrong than he's always been that first drive in Ireland.
Like after that first job in Ireland, this is, this is, and they got this thing wired. We were all
looking at each other because we were sitting in the open air loving it at the Viva and we were all
sitting right by each other like, Jesus, these are about. Yeah, I got the NFL. I'm not sure.
You're both on the machine. But the equal to that is that squirrel white catch. Because on that
point, you're thinking, oh, man, this guy, he's a different smaker. He's a program changer,
a program changer. Yeah, yeah. He used to this. This could be a connection all year.
Oh, I got those emails. Believe me, I did because I ripped Tommy before the season, as you all recall,
I hated the stupid climb videos where they were talking about him. Like he was Joe Namath. And I'm
like, can we not do that? And then everybody on the board's like, Cameron tonight. Oh, like,
you'll say, by week four, this sign was fine. It was fine. It was after the layups. It was
after the Virginia. He's going against Virginia. The Miami was when it just fell off the
clap. Painful. Painful. Well, we got it off our chest. Boys in the opening second. All right,
it's good. Yeah. Yeah. I feel good about it. So we don't have lies. 93 real talk. Radio
war chain TV continues at a moment. Now, finding a doctor is a little less challenging.

On shows that are live shows, because that was a live like that was a point of view like around 2000, right?
Yeah, a lot of the yeah, now everything is just consumed in mass vengeance and seasons.
Yeah, I don't know. Tiger King Tiger King count. No, no, no, the Jordan, the Jordan documentary was
because it was COVID and we were all having to watch something. It's probably because of COVID.
That was that was great. It was great. Every week. Yep. So good. And I remember thinking
afterwards, because I think we all agreed on this. You know, I think I like him even more.
He's the biggest angle. Literally might be a sociopath, but he's an incredible competitor.
And that's what you want. You need some of that. I'm like, man, I'm trying to win a championship run.
Yeah. That's my guy in the laughing watching the iPad is the greatest ever.
He's how he's giggling a Gary Payton and laughing at Isaiah Thomas and others. Yeah. He's like,
oh, that's fantastic. Yeah. Oh, he's like, that's amusing. That's the way you viewed it, huh?
Yeah. And then he's like, because there was that time, I think Gary Payton was talking about how he
had shut him locked him up in the first time. He's like, well, I had 38 minutes. I don't know if
we lost home. Yeah, I've had looks. Looks like I did all right. 38 minute game. And we won going away.
But hey, yeah, I remember that. So the world baseball classic might do it. It will be a lot of fun
to watch tonight. Well, I've loved the classics since day one. I've always jipped in the event.
You were an early adopter. I was not, but that that US Dominican game was awesome.
I mean, it was, it was like, it was like, it was like, remember, like when we RBI baseball,
whatever you could do, like the all-star lineup, RBI, every single dude is like, I mean,
both teams. Yeah. Yeah, it was. Yeah, Venezuela's lineup is good tonight too. And, you know,
understandably, it will be a bigger deal to Venezuela than it will be the United States. But
nonetheless, it's like, I mean, they want to win it. A lot of good players. I did laugh that the
kid McLean is on the hill tonight for the United States. I'm like, let's share a die-hard baseball
fan. You're asking yourself, who the hell is starting to be a championship game? Yeah.
Yeah, that's because Tariq Scoobles a bitch and bowed out. But, yeah. Hey, it's the hardest
decision he ever had to make. No, I'm quote, no. The hardest decision. It's good to see
skeens get the feel of a big gain because he won't get that until he signs with the Dodgers
in a couple of years. He was getting peppered a little bit. Yeah. Well, that's a tough lineup.
A little bit of a tough lineup. Yeah, I said another single. There's another single skeens. How about
that? Well, they did throw the kid out at third and that helped skeens a lot. That's what I did.
That's what I did. And the base running about the, uh, the mannequins was outrageous. In particular
tattoos. Well, not going on that one was dumb. Not going to third on the next one was ridiculous.
Yes. And then, uh, Predomo had what should have been in the game tying single to left
center. And I don't know who that would their catcher to open America. I can't remember his name.
Just freezes thinking that Bobby wits 12 feet tall. And that must be hit right out of it. It's
the most obvious single in fairness. Bobby wits catches every. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You're like,
well, he's got a pogo stick out here. He's going to get that one because he's Bobby with. But
yeah, that calls him around too. Cause then to T struck out. And that's the one thing I was like,
going back to the Florida game. That's terrible. He did. But we'll bring it back to just baseball
in general. But Florida state baseball is like, man, they moved, they moved the three point line
back because jumpers became too easy. At some point, the human, human beings aren't supposed to
hit a hundred miles an hour effectively. And at some point, for the betterment of the game,
either lower the friggin mound or scoot it back a foot or two, because you say it was a great game.
Sure. It was. There were 30 strikeouts. Yeah. That's that's five full innings. That's six full
innings. The ball is great. The ball not being put in play. So, uh, like I made the point
on the new baseball podcast with Chris Chavez. You should listen to that. It's good. He's,
he's very intelligent. Um, like putting Eli Putnam at second base for Florida state.
Not a great defender. What do you think? What do you think, Chris Chavez is telling people about
quarry? Oh, that I'm the best in the country. Well, that's what I do. Were you serving up soft balls?
No, no, that was a good conversation. But the point being with like Eli Putnam at second base,
he's clearly not a great defender. Don't need him to be. He's hitting baby. But he can hit it in
this day and age when only 12 balls are put in play for a game. You don't need a great defender
at second. You don't need a great defender. The balance between great defense and, you know,
much needed offense has always been in this. The calculus link has to say. And I think the fact
that well, we got, we got pictures that can strike out dudes. Well, that helps putting maybe a
less defender in the field because there's only going to be four balls hit to them. Maybe a day.
Certainly the demonstrative, uh, performance from the one two starters this past holy cow.
Would bleed one to believe that. We'll see if that continues. Well, they're not going to be that
good forever forever game. But, but it's good, especially a beard. Like to know that's in there.
Like that was, that was a legendary stuff. All the pitches he had. And just think if he hadn't
pitched to the to the wall. No, no, no, not that they beard could have pitched to anybody. But,
I mean, if you look at the weekend as a whole, if we just didn't pitch to the one dude for wake,
they had a little score, a single run in the whole series. The lead off it or carried him. Yeah,
he carried them. But, um, that was in all seriousness, you know, I had said after the Florida game,
that ball is such a typical script down in Gainesville and drives me batty to watch us get dominated
with 99, 99, 99. Crazy though. They do it all every year. And I've seriously questioned about
the philosophy or the ability to get power arms in here. And I can't figure out, I mean,
I respect for Micah. And I don't know what his overriding philosophy is per se. Either we can't
afford the kinds of arms that Florida brings in or we choose not to because watching four guys come
out of their bullpened who throw 98, 99 is ridiculous. Four days got one. And when you go now,
the response was awesome against Wake. Yeah. You couldn't have written it up any better. It's an
amazing response. And Wake can throw. Wake's got three dudes that can pitch. And it didn't look like
it. Saturday guy was great. Saturday guy's awesome. Yeah. But I mean, I think it's, I think it's
calm. I don't think it's a, I don't think it's a philosophy. I think it's a combination of
the money you have available. And let's, oh, Sullivan's done it, man. He's, he's got a 20 year
track record of developing power arms. So he's a guy you want to go to if you're a power arm.
Well, to your point, to your point, to your point, 100% to your point.
There he is a known world class
table human B.A. Yeah. Sure. So think how good his track record is in developing arms for
parents. Yeah. To send their kids to one of the most horrible human beings to walk the planet.
And I had a care. I remember, I remember talking to Michael Hyde back with Michael Hyde. He had
just gotten out of FSU. So this is over a decade ago. And he was, and he was two decades maybe.
Yeah, I can't remember how I was doing the people's court. No, Michael Hyde was like,
he goes, look, man, the, because we were talking, I was like, man, what is it about Oseleven?
Why do they get? Why do these guys go there? And he goes, man, he has a record of adding two or
three or four, whatever it is miles per hour to people's fastball. Like he's done that. And so
if you've got a kid, that's sure you're going to go. Well, that's now it's, I mean, another decade or
more of that. But it's just it like I was also been revealed that he is, but hey, man,
he's got to look out for number one. They also tend to lose all time. No sense.
But that, that was the perfect, that, that micro, that was such a perfect microcosm of college
baseball. The overreaction from everybody to the Tuesday game. And that would happen over the weekend.
It's crazy. You know, I mean, like, yeah. Oh, yeah. And I was furious and went on the air
angry because that script, we go down to Gainesville all the time and get an early lead only to give it
up, only to watch them bring in four dudes that are like suck it. Here's 90. Oh, first and second.
Nobody out. Strike out. Strike out. There's 99. I do wonder though, Ira, to your point. I,
I think you're right. But I would push back on this. We let the country and breaking balls last
year. Clearly that has to be a philosophy. Well, I mean, I think it's a combination of here. It's
what can we do because we don't have the money. Maybe right now to get the power. The thing I
would say though is like, I thought links post game interview after that game. As long one down
there. So we have a video of Florida. It's really after the Florida game. Yeah. And I was super
impressed because sometimes link, sometimes link gets a little emotional if things aren't going well.
If he's such a perfectionist or times he gets a little frustrated. But he was very calm. And I
thought he made a great point about how many of these guys, this was the first time a lot of
these guys were in that environment. And now they're seeing that velocity. And now they're seeing
a hundred miles an hour in a difficult place to play. And they're trying to match it with their
aggression. And it's like, that's not how you got to hit that. But this is he was very confident
that this will be a good learning experience. And I can watch that interview. But also like at some
point, yeah, 18 strikeouts. It's embarrassing. I guess it is. But I mean, what what college team
is going to be pepper in the ball against better content? Sure. It's easy for us to say one
or one is one of one like it. Yeah. But that's never been the measure. It's not about what we say.
I mean, the bottom one is you strike out 18 times. You wrote it and you're calm. You're right about
it. You can't strike out. You've got to put the ball in play. But I don't it's hard to blame
Stutzer. Well, Paulino didn't strike out. Sheffield like Paulino doesn't. He does. He has two strikeouts
in 32 of that or something. And then they were back to back and back like that guy was just born
to hit. But that's not it's just like I'm not going to I'm not going to make a a crazy declaration
or get upset about. I mean, it's not it's not normal or quite frankly fair that you have four
dudes that thought Mason Miller would be the what second hardest third hardest. But these guys
literally all four of them were touching 100 as 19 year olds. It's ridiculous. Okay. We can't
20 year old 19 year old. Yeah, but high point can hit to hit a hundred. But they did that
against the starting pitching. And again, their starting pitching is where you got to get Florida.
A bullpen game actually works against you because all they do is roll out 100. No, I would agree,
but I might be if I were a Florida parent asking myself, how is it we're getting tattooed by high
point on the weekend series? But yeah, cool win a Tuesday night game. Yeah. Well, then they
didn't they go when they beat South Carolina three in a row. And I think they shut them out
the first two games like they might have they might have found some stuff. But yeah, it's like
what Florida state did this weekend was so encouraging. But yeah, that Saturday game they faced a dude
and they got one run off them. And it was a solo home run that would have been off the screen here.
It's a short porch there in right field. Like elite pitching is going to give this offense
problems because it gets offense problems. Yeah. And that Florida bullpen is going to give every
offense it faces problems. I do feel a lot better about the lineup today than I did three weeks ago.
I mean, I did too. The power. The power showed back up. They had hit. I think it was like they had
10 whole runs in the first 12 games. Yeah. And then the last two weekends, I believe they put 17.
Well, certainly helped that prior. Now again, wake. That's awesome. The 10 runs in 12 runs
are amazing. But the the games, the five that they won. When it warmed up, and it was north of Kentucky.
Yeah, they showed some pop. They were nuts in that. Yeah. And then, but even wait, they had eight home runs
or whatever it was. As you correctly noted, though, that ballpark's a child. The beauty about Putnam,
though, like Bailey. Now Bailey got his, but Putnam could hit home runs where he doesn't get him.
He doesn't get all of them. They still lay it up. Yeah. It's cool to have that in your lineup,
especially if you're going to strike out 14 times. It's cool to have one guy. If you get a hit by
pitch or a walk, you can put two runs on one side. You think you think when Stutz was running down
to first, he really thought that was a grand slam. What do you think he got sought off a little bit
and thought it was going to be caught? And he was like, Oh, oh, he did his job to get the run hole.
Like, all right, put the ball in place. That's good job. It's a grand slam. Good work, kid.
I mean, I was like, come on, Wake, build a real grown up ballpark. It's like great. I watch the Yankees.
I'm like, the thing like child park. And I haven't watched Wake play this year, obviously,
but other than that series. But like the last few years, I have not liked that Wake Forest team at all.
They played like a bunch of a holes, not like, not like a ball, like the nose crew that's pretty calm.
They're like, man, that's the last couple of years. Exactly.
But that was the bad part about that game destroyed. Like the first game was not even a game.
And then the second game, it was a game, but they didn't wait for us to everybody. They wanted it.
You want it like I wanted to see them like get fired up and then lose, but like they were out of it.
Like floor stages, they were three of 50 in the first two games. Three of 50.
That's an O 60 batting average. But in some ways, you know the A hole, the inner A hole is in them.
But for it to never be able to come out, it's just pretty hilarious. Whoever's getting them
tonight, they better be ready. They're going to unleash the track. They're going to simply
either way down the first base after a home run tonight. Subitone deadlines. 93 three-year-old talk

I mean, before I got here, this is what we did all the time. We didn't get to watch anything.
But they were always right here. We covered high school football, buddy. You think we watched those
practices? I know. This is the last that we established this last week. This is the least
amount of access in any given year we've ever had. Coming up. Yeah, I feel like Taggart and
Jimbo would let us watch us spring like a whole spring practice. I can't remember. I know Jimbo
did because he had one at 5.30 in the morning. Yeah, that was it. We came to watch. I remember
getting coffee and coming in laughing at him, having to deal with that. He did that as spite, I think.
Yeah. So he did like 5.30 in the morning. Because they had to practice early because they had
classes and they couldn't practice in the afternoon because of rain. So we're just going to practice
at 5 in the morning. You guys got that. Yeah, we did. We didn't give to have the access to 5.30
in the morning now. I just said, no, no, I don't want it. I told him at the time because he was like,
did you like it? Did you see anybody like? I'm like, I like the Derby Kid. I think he's going to
be good. And then Jimbo said, oh, well, Stevie Wonder could have seen that. So he made fun of it.
And also he wasn't wrong. Right. But also again, it goes back to there hasn't been a famous
blind person since Stevie Wonder. Everybody just uses Steve. Once he passes away, he's going to
use for a long time. But who do we use once Stevie Wonder passes away? Hope he never does, but it
will happen. Oh, yeah, it will. Then we just can't use that. We need to find a good blind person.
Is there another famous blind person? There are lots of famous blind people.
Same day. Was he blind or was he just blind? He was not blind at all. And all. No, he's
more of a shame. I always thought Roy Orbison was blind. No, no, no, no, he was not blind.
Man, if you just wear dark shades, people are just in the blind. Like Reverend Jim Jones down in
French Guy. And he wore those shades. Yeah, not blind. He was not blind. Not blind at all.
Here's the cool thing, kids. I like it. It was flavoring. You're getting the reverence
idol. I appreciate that. Yeah, like you were the president of my college. You didn't want to
just do that with Reverend Jim Jones. You didn't want to disrespect Jim Jones.
Reverend Jim Jones. If y'all don't know what we're talking about,
actually don't go through it. It's a horrible, horrible story.
Yeah, I don't know. Yeah, it's far about it. Yeah, man, it's going to be mostly just
talking to people and trying to get insight. And then we'll also talk to people around the
program. And again, we've already done that. But it's just hard from the first week.
There was only one day in pads. The first two practices were not in pads. And it's like,
what are you cleaning from that? Yeah, the fast guys look fast. Yeah, the big guys look big.
But it's just hard to take much away from it. I mean, the only thing that really is going to
matter, I mean, the offensive lines get a matter, defensive lines get a matter to a degree.
But I don't think we're going to feel confident in anything we hear about those. It's how the
quarterback looks. I mean, that that is the only thing I think that we could walk away from talking
to people inside the program. If they're like, oh, yeah, man, this quarterback is really on it.
Then he had also at least feel like something. Yeah, like if you're hearing and I expect
we will in another week or two, like the Jones kid is unreal, like a linebacker. If we're hearing
that, like, yeah, if Chris Jones, he looks like he's an NFL first round draft pick. That's good
to hear too. And I don't know that he is. I don't know what the body type is. But as I've written,
as I've said, he has 180 tackles and he's still a teenager. That's insane. He might be awesome.
I don't a thought yesterday. I was talking to somebody about the team and this is it's a
ridiculous comparison. I'm completely listening. I'm looking something up for you. Hey,
Corey, okay, ridiculous comparison. But maybe what if there's a shade of it? Okay, so a shade of
so Jermaine Johnson did not put up big numbers of Georgia. Correct. But he was part of a great
defense. Yeah, he was buried behind super NFL stars come to Florida state and is the ACC
defensive player of the year? Right. No. Ryle and Kennedy was on a good defense. Oh, okay.
Okay. I'm not saying he's made Johnson. But man, we've got to remain Johnson. Let me ask you this,
though. Is it possible that he his numbers are not very impressive at Texas? Yeah, but it was a good
defense. And he, I mean, a good one, a good defense. But he, they did have like dudes. Yeah,
like he was, he played Shamar. He played behind for a year. The guy this year's defensive end.
It's going to be a first round. So is it possible? He's better than we think he is. Yeah, yeah. Yeah,
it's a good theory. All right. There we go. I like it. I'm trying to conjure up some enthusiasm
and positive. I'm trying to thought. Maybe that's what we should do. Like Jeff in the 2000s
had his positive basketball note of the day. I did try to kind of uplift the fan base late 90s
early 2000s. Yes. Yeah. So maybe that's every time we talk to Jeff, we could bring him one more
sort of information that we think we're kind of I want to elevate him a little. Now you know,
I'm a tough grader. Yeah. Well, you may tell us it's. Yeah. Yeah. Well, it's not a fact,
though. It's a theory. It's a positive theory. Some theories inspire more than other. Right.
But I think that I was not totally wrong there in the sense that he's probably not germane
Johnson. I can't wait. I clarified. But it wasn't like he was playing behind some scrubs. That
was my point. Yeah. Yeah. Hey, man. I'm with you because you, because when you look at the numbers,
you're like, okay, he played a text A&M. He looks the part. He's kind of freakish athletically.
Was it basketball player like track guy? I mean, like he's an athlete. He's got great size.
But then you're like, well, where was the production? Well, he's also playing behind
studs. But you're not Johnson didn't have great production either. But your main came to Florida
state mainly because the really bad ass players in front of him were underclassmen. Right. And he
wasn't like, I feel like this guy is the people in front of him that have kept him off the field
of left. Why are you messing with my words? So why would if he's really good? I would have picked
it apart much better than he could say at A&M and improved that he's the next great A&M defense.
Right. When you're hoisting that ACC defense. And the Benaric, you'll remember in the Ted
Hendrix remember who was. Let me just tell you if it happens, I'm going to make sure that I get
the picture of he and Ira smiling because I'm going to say to him without because it's going
to be unbeknownst to him. You know, our boy predicted it. Yeah. I recalled it and we scoffed at him.
Much like Corey began picking apart. Yeah. Well, I was wrong. Yeah.
Much like when Terrence Mann strokes that $2 million check. And it's going to be a big golf check.
And it's going to be me and him in the picture. And he's holding that $2 million check.
What would that get us? That's like a quarterback of note.
Yeah. Terrence Mann is not a basketball ball. I want him to give the football.
Corey, I want you to say that. Yeah. After Corey gets Terrence to write the basketball check,
he'll get. Corey, I'm going to wait. When does Jonah Winston get here? Is that he's not here yet?
He's coming to the summer. Well, that's when the James money needs to start pouring into.
What has James ever done for this universe? He actually has given more than a million dollars.
I also many won some games, too. He's going to be giving it. Before what was him?
What was him? What was him? I don't really find an inch. Yeah. Yeah. But he's going to keep it going.
I just, you know, when I think about this team, again, I do think there are some things I do like
about this. You like the offense? I do like the offense. And I like the way Tony White so excited
about the defense. You know, he probably was last year, too. I don't remember. But he's he's
pretty excited about Tony White. The one they missed on clearly, although when I think back,
I don't know how emphatic he was about James Williams. I don't remember. I don't remember him.
Terrence night and thought he was incredible. But I don't think Tony White thought he was that good.
Every other time Tony White said something about a player, he was right. Like, you know, he said
to drill. Rawls was an NFL player. He said the DeCier twins are wrecking things. And he was
right. Like not that they're already self-made superstars. But he saw something in them. And he
was correct. So I do like his ability, ability at worst to evaluate. What do you think about Ashlyn
Barker going to Rover? You think that taking that. He's ranger. I like that he is ranger. He is
ranger. He may be something. He will hit you. I like Parker. Yeah. And that's the quarterback of
the defense position. Make all the tackles. I've enjoyed. I liked him from day one and was
talking about him. Like, it's something there. I don't worry as much about the the safeties.
I'll say that. I don't worry about the safeties all that much. It's the deal. But you got you do have
a linebacker that might be the best linebacker you've had in a good long line. But let's see how he
looks when he gets isolated in coverage. Because let's not pretend they didn't bring a kid who had
made a gazillion tackles just a year ago. He had done it in the SEC with Tennessee. He had done it
no. He was wearing was a nice play. He didn't put up a tie. He wasn't forced in the country
and tackles. He wasn't a teenager. But he did have the same issue. He's not a cover guy.
I mean, that's that's on coaching, right? Like you got to free this kid up to go make plays where
he can go make plays. But in that right. But in his in that setting of allowing him to do what he
can and his strengths. Yeah. He's about, I mean, again, I just I can't go over the fact that he's
19 and he had he had a hundred he has a hundred and he looks like a linebacker should look like he
was born to play it. Yeah. I mean, his numbers and his production and his look. He looks like
Ernie Simpson. So I'm very, very excited about him because I think he is a real deal potential
pro NFL linebacker. They haven't had one of those in a good long line. Now, linebacker Nick.
Like, yeah, I mean, but then he could be a butthoon ish. But I think he's more accomplished than
butthoon was when he got here. He's certainly younger. So yeah, I'm just very excited about Chris
Jones in the defense of line, man. I think it's all about those three softwares. I'm not sure he's
more accomplished but then I have a hundred tackles that you see. I just met younger like the fact
that he was the he was the he was the conference conference conference off all whatever he was.
First team, right? Yeah, first team all conference, fourth in the nation and tackles in his 19 years
old. I think the defensive line. I'm going to really see what Tony White does to offset the lack
of quality depth on the defensive line. I find project the starters to be good. All right. Well,
man, this is obviously a tough tough deal. Good at everything, Jeff. Well, I'm saying you can
project them to be good, but who's behind? Yep. And teams get worn down. Guys get worn down.
They get beat up, especially in the interior. I don't know. I worry about that. I wonder how he's
going to try to offset it because you have to mask weaknesses. Every team's got some. I wonder what
he's going to do. I think they need the deciers and I just I wrote about this. That on the site.
This the defense line story. They need the deciers to be really good. Not just take another step
and be pretty good at softwares or you know, they need to be all conference type players. And they
could be, but I don't think if they're just pretty good for softwares, this defensive line's going
to be good at all. But they could take a big leap. One thing I like. One thing I like hearing about
them is, you know, when they were in their negotiation period, a little bit of holdout. It was a lot
of fun back there in the month of December. I think everybody loved that. They were not like,
from what I was told, they were not part of like team workouts. They were not like they were doing
their own thing, which makes you wonder a little bit. And then if you're going to get a big payday
after your freshman year. Yeah, that's that was my little bit of just in the back of my head,
but they look great physically and we're hearing good things about them. So that's a positive.
And I think that's who they are. Like they came here that way. They didn't have to be
talk. They're freakishly big for their age and Lord. And but they're also freakishly.
I mean, some films are being put together. They're freakishly, I don't know how a motored,
like they don't they don't have a normal football player motor either. I don't think it's in them
to just. Yeah, I don't think they could do it. Yeah, I don't know that once they're on the field,
they'd be okay, just with the guy pushing them around. They don't they don't strike me as those
kind of guys, which is good to have in that position room for sure. Somebody wants to know about
the just announced spring weekend. It's when the lacrosse and baseball and softball are all playing
at the same time as sponsored by what a burger. Anyhow, that's. That's that's that's the
thing. But no, the football game still there's still got me no spring game. That's correct.
Well, this is a question of the chat. I want to I want to see if you had any other
keen insights into the big spring weekend. No, I don't know. I don't think that's about it.
I'm glad they're doing it. Glad they're doing something. Did you go to the PBR? I did not. Did you?
God, no. Well, are you kidding me? It's not like it was a good time. I'm sure it's a good time.
I would like next year. Let's let's pick it up with some concerts. Let's pick it up with some
big, big concerts. I think that's got to be because that's a it's a great money maker. Well,
they sold. Did they sell it again? No, no. I don't know if it sold out. No, no, no, no. It's like they
would expect them. I think they're expecting like 18 or 20, not seven. I think they're maybe
I was just confused with the bananas might have some motor cross in our future. One dirt. They're big
on dirt. We're in a dirt and country music. Oh, that's fun. If you can cross promote it with
the country music, I guess I just want people to come to the city and stay for a few days.
What country act could they get that would get you out? Garth. It couldn't be anything that would
be on like 94, 90 and Garth and anything like that. I go see Garth and I'm not a country fan at
all, but I go see Garth. You waited in line for Garth. You never saw him. He's opening night at
his bar in Nashville. We had tickets to JJ. We had tickets to JJ grade at the Ryman. Sure.
And then we see a line setting up because it was opening night for Garth. It was his bar. He was
opening. He's a bar in the bar. The bartender was like, the bartender was like, look,
when these people open their bars, typically they'll play like 20 or 30 minutes. So people are
waiting in line all day starting it starting at six in the morning. They start waiting in line.
And he had been he had been on Good Morning America that day from the bar. Like it was a big deal.
Oh, so there was a realistic expectation. He was in town and Amazon Prime was filming a
documentary. And you had the size and I'm like, you know what? We can go see JJ Gray anytime,
not at the Ryman, but I'll be back around. And I don't even like Garth, but I'm like, it'd be
really cool to be in a 400 person venue and watch Garth. One AM style and shown up never showed up.
And I hate that guy, but I would still give him my money. Maybe it was the crowds, Paul.
Maybe he would have if it was a better crowd. Like maybe, but he was packed to the gills. I sat
there and listened to his opening night. Yeah. He was in town. I am kind of shocked. He didn't show
that he's even tweeting like it's six, 58. He's like two more minutes, two more minutes, and it
doesn't show. He's already he's already flown to wherever he's flown. He's in his cave,
watching the security cook. I would rate what it had been if he tweeted out right at the time
that it opened suck it. Suck it. Thanks for the money. Thanks for the money. Thanks for saving
life. But we're only alive for an hour. Yeah. There were people that literally started there at
6 a.m. to get well. They got a question. What they're doing with it a lot. Yeah.
Hank Jr. Hey, Jr. Get out. No. I go see Zach Ryan. I'd go see somebody like that. But I'm not,
no, we're not. I think Garth, none of the pets I could worry about. Maybe because I know some of
those songs, but I would say Garth is the only one because I know Stephanie would be as a 90s kid
would be very, very excited. She's never seen Garth live. That would sell out in a millisecond.
Yeah. You wouldn't have to worry about that. You could do two shows with Garth. I'm not,
I'm going to miss the motorcycle jumping too, guys. So you know, I'm going to miss that one as well.
I'm I'm not a sour push. But when people ask me, are you going to the span of anist? No.
Yeah. Are you going to the PBR? No. Show some respect to Ricky Carmichael, though.
I like Ricky. Ricky listens to the Jeff Cameron. That's why it's why you said you won't go out to
the motor. No, it's not. I'm retired. Their skills are their skills. And I admire their ability.
I it boars me to tears. I mean, it's a great thing. If you're actually cool, live, I mean,
what if they did a formula? I see him. Tallahassee should get its own formula. One race.
That's not going to be on the tour. It could be Miami. Tallahassee. Did you have the monster trucks
when they used to come to the Civic Center? I've never been to a monster truck. Well, it's the same
thing to me as the PBR. I should have taken Brady once. I would have been fun to show Brady once.
Yeah, but I took the boys twice both times. I was like, man, I don't know.
During COVID, when Corey would go commentate at the golf course, like the golf course up in
Atlanta, because I lived in a, I wasn't. He was not by the golf course, but I could walk to it.
He would just sit on a hole and commentate and I thought about doing the same thing at the
overpass to I 10 near my house. I thought that would have been kind of just watching people drive.
Yeah. Yeah. I got to drive away too slow. Get it together, buddy.
I don't know what kind of, now you wrote the article and we got one minute before we break and
we get to have a lot of questions, but you wrote the article that Doc's open for business.
So you know, you could tell the people. They probably got a lot of things planned.
They do, but they do, but they know I don't know that anything's signed. They have some
stuff in negotiations, but it's all for next year. The window that they really need to be doing
it is January to April, because they need to get the field ready for the next season.
They can do it right when the Florida games in. Don't worry. Four stays not
hosting any playoff games. Played for the Saturday after they started. That would be unfortunate.
