Senior Brawl in Stockton: Cane and Car
Two men in their 60s got into a wild brawl in Stockton, landing both in cuffs after
police broke it up.
It all went down around 4-10pm on the 700 block of East Martin Luther King Boulevard, where
the pair turned a simple argument into, something straight out of an action flick, eyewitnesses
called it in as a full-on physical fight, and turns out these seniors weren't holding
back, swinging a cane like a weapon, and one even, trying to run the other down with
his car.
It's named them as 69-year-old James Hurd and 67-year-old John Greathouse, booking
both for assault with a deadly weapon, while Hurd caught an extra charge for vandalism.
Details are thin on what lit the fuse, or who was behind the wheel, but this clash shows
Tempers can flare hot no matter the age-day cool out there.
