So yeah, I mean Yeah, just just be really careful when you're operating equipment. Yeah, yeah, it It did not feel good I don't advise it, but yeah a little fall from 11 feet Fortunately my face broke my fall

1:02Wow, there you go. Yeah, good story good story now Still the champion though. Yeah, well, that's right. They cannot take that away Doesn't matter what happens on or off the track You are still a champ for sure so as long as they don't drug test. I'll be fine. Yeah So before we get into lots of the other racing stuff big weekend for you guys Last weekend, of course, uh, tag then you guys now you want to race? Well, I actually won two races correct But then I noticed you got disqualified after the second one on like a technicality. How does that work? So I don't want to you know talk about the specifics, but I will say that We had to make a modification to our car After it was received from the factory there was a you know a defective component We came up with a fix because we didn't have time to bring in you know the proper parts It was a non-performance Component but it was not within the rules

2:05It's it's the kind of thing that you know I think the majority of our team largely forgot about because on one side of the car We had one thing on the other side of the car we had the factory thing and and you know Absolutely didn't put any more thought into it after the first weekend because it was totally you know chaotic somehow the the series noticed it they said hey this isn't This isn't a spec and the the second one was taken away now again. It wasn't a performance You know enhancing Component it wasn't something that made the you know car more dynamic more powerful more durable more any it just made the car work is all that we did But rules are rules and you know, it's not the kind of thing You know, I I can't speak for Alex because I didn't get to see him After the DQ was was announced, but I know it's the kind of thing He wouldn't put like five seconds of thought into so how do you get the piece though? So now you got to get the proper piece correct. Yeah, but we've got all winter now like the cars are come apart anyway

3:10Everything will get put back properly You know learned a lot this year With you know where we started with the car and the development that The whole tag one team did with you know our engineering staff the The mechanics the crew chiefs You know the feedback that Alex gave on track are other drivers You know in in the last two races we had two cars running Oh my goodness. We were probably running within about three tenths of a second in both races like The cars were really really really good. They were very competitive. It was great to show Our our second driver on the weekend Antoine Sennichelle Was able to keep up with Alex, you know if if people are are paying attention and are Considering where to put their money next year They should have been able to see that you know if if Antoine's able to get up there and run with tag He's obviously got equal equipment

4:11You know So yeah, I mean great season all and all it was nice to get a couple of wins I finally made it to my first podium and radical On Saturday because it was actually within it was within walking distance and most of the time it's like a you know a 25 30 minute walk but Yeah, really just really quick diversion before I forget You know with our friend T. R and the The reach that shores he's starting to have Now you you know Mandy Greger, but my girlfriend is a teacher and she started the school year With each of her classes Starting with guys welcome to the class. Here's what we're gonna be doing this year. We got to set the tone She's she's used in that to start Start molding the the the next generation's mind so bravo to the shores he crew Wow now bad. I really appreciate that tell her She might have assigned pick coming her way maybe even a couple of tickets to the shores he classic promote them on air like this

5:18Colin by the way congrats I mean that must have been a really interesting summer. Is there anything what what what what could you Prepare racing fans. What surprises? What's exciting on the horizon? Coming in the fall and winter in the racing world. Well now we're basically down to Formula 1 Obviously, there's other series out there, but Formula 1 is where we kind of focus this weekend the series moves to a brand new track returning to Madrid This is going to be very very very interesting The computer simulations that have been run are not encouraging the feeder series so formula Formula racing gets broken into a couple main categories. There's obviously Formula 1 Which is the top of the food chain formula 2 and formula 3 a couple weeks ago formula 3 tested at What they call the mad ring? Yeah, it was like a it was like a red flag extravaganza wasn't it 19 19 red flags during their practice

6:27And those are you know to put it into perspective those are cars that aren't as high performance So they should be easier to keep under control, but the drivers aren't at the same level as a Formula 1 driver But Formula 1 cars are much bigger and much more powerful So there's going to be even less room for error I saw some comments from a couple of the drivers that said for them to put together a lap even in their own Simulator would have taken hours like to put to put one complete lap together without making a mistake So this is going to be I think it's going to be a very very expensive weekend again, you know I can keep saying I make a prediction I'll qualify it by saying I hope that I'm wrong and that The weekend goes off without a hitch Yeah, wouldn't you say expensive means we're gonna be a lot of crash now I will say and Anton Ali in a track we didn't see a lot of passing the guy came in like past 18 people So that was pretty impressive But in the last race there's more controversy and Ferrari

7:27Right you had LeClair ran Hamilton wide on the lap one I don't know how much that impacted probably a little bit yet and up finishing sixth LeClair later ran wide himself Hit the wall and now you know is questionable if he's gonna race this weekend or not Do you think is this just normal racing like is there something that you know going on behind the scenes in Ferrari is there Is there a cultural problem there they got to fix from the outside? I have definite opinions that for the first time in LeClair's career He's being challenged by a better driver and He's seeing that and they know within the team that Lewis has been very instrumental in helping develop the car It's something that Charles just not capable of doing he's capable of driving the car But when it's not right he doesn't have the skill set he doesn't quite have the The the the tools to tell the team like you know

8:28Lewis would make comments and in his last years with Mercedes They tried this concept where the drivers were way far forward and like when I say way far forward They were like four or five inches which is you know in driver terms is you know miles and he was talking about how they'll never get The feel of the car because they're sitting on the front axle where they need to be further back You know Lewis has an amazing ability to feel and to to analyze and to You know deconstruct the car to let the team know exactly what's going on but Charles has had kind of he's been he's been the the the cock of the walk He's been the the the top of the food chain for a long time even when science was there The team was largely built around LeClaire is there their long-term driver, but now he's starting to see that Lewis's impact is is real And that he's been out performing so you know like we've seen with Max

9:29He's starting to over drive and he's starting to you know You know get a little bit too aggressive that on on lap one the rule is you know forget about the lap one They tend to let more things go the rule is if if a driver is beside Or ahead at the apex you have to give that driver room now It's double important when it's your own teammate sure You know Lewis got up beside him gave him room through turn one they got to turn to LeClaire Just drove them off the track drove them into the gravel You know sent them back to about 10th place which compromise Lewis's race Making things worse then on lap two LeClaire made a mistake pushing a bit too hard got just I mean It I think it was about three inches four inches too wide Where the the track kind of falls off to a drainage Drainage area that's painted as he's trying to load that left rear tire it's spun and

10:30You know a 60G impact kind of scrambled his brain And now you know they're not really sure they've got Jovanazzi waiting if if LeClaire can't get into the car safely so Yeah, it's it's it's a very very bad situation. It was the kind of thing you know at Lewis reference Mercedes There were two or three times where Lewis and Rosberg made Stupid contact and this is when Mercedes they couldn't lose if they dropped two cylinders They were they were killing everyone so it was always a fight between the two drivers for first and second and when they they wiped each other out You know Total total head conversations. I mean I I think it actually got to the point that total started sending the drivers repair bills to say like Uid it's caused this Uid it's are gonna fix this So you know, I think they maybe need a firmer hand and now of course with that

11:32They're starting to bat names around as to who might replace Fred Vessour You know who might be a better a better fit. I don't think they're to that point. I think Freddie's done a good job But yeah, it's it's gonna be interesting I mean there's there's a lot of a lot of strife with him Mercedes because you've got a you know the 20-year-old Kimmy challenging George and you know basically wiping the floor with this teammate and that's really the the benchmark that you have because you're in the same cars So you can't compare what Max is doing right now with what Lewis is doing or with you know what Kim is doing because they're not in the same equipment But yeah, I mean You just can't be taking your teammate out like it's gonna be hard to beat Antonelli the rates going right now He's looking he's looking really good. So we'll see quickly One other change in NASCAR Canada that Rick wear racing is going to part of a DJ Kennington starting next year and So you know, he's gonna run a different number is that right? Yeah DJ why does he have to change numbers?

12:34Yeah, that's a great question. This only got posted about an hour before I left the shop DJ has run the number 17 Forever and he's been associated with Castrol for for you know as long as I've ever known him So whatever the deal is between you know, he and Rick where Rick's always run that 51 number even when you know, they made a they made a uh tiptoe went to NASCAR Canada a couple years ago. They they worked with Andrew Ranger. He was the 51 car back then So you know, that's obviously the D obviously the deal I think it would it would have to be financially beneficial to DJ to accept that because right you know numbers to drivers are kind of everything so players But yeah, we'll I'm off there tomorrow.
