Stugots and company guests. We were talking about the Mount Rushmore. We only came up with three names yesterday. But fans have been sending in their Mount Rushmore of guests. We'll get to that in a second. But Taylor has a problem that he imagines me having the same problem. What is your problem, Taylor? And why would I have the same problem as you have? So every day, Stu, when we come to do the show, the radio show and the podcast, we're coming to the iHeart Studios in Miami. Yes. Have you noticed recently, there are so many more cars in this parking lot. Yes. I am parking in practically another zip code. Yes. Yes. And this has never been a problem before. I've always I've always been able to get a pretty good parking spot up close. Yes. But recently,

3:26I am like in the 20th row. And by the time I get there, I am soaked because of how far I've had a walk. Yep. I parked at a dentist office about a mile and a half away from here. It's unbelievable. That's why you laugh at me. But I bring in a second shirt every single time. And the reason I bring that second shirt in is because I am sweating from the where I park my car to the front doors of the iHeart studio. And so I need to change before we go on air. But this is only something that's been happening like the past week. Well, yes. What's going on? I have no idea what's going on. Ricardo saying school's back in, but there's no school around here. There's no school here. Like people aren't showing up to school. There's a nursing school downstairs guys. Oh, there is. So that nursing school has semesters and they're in semester right now. That makes way more sense. Listen, if you're going to pass out from heat exhaustion, we're better. Yeah. Right with a nurse's office. Mike, you would hate how far this walk is.

4:30I just wouldn't come to work. I just I do I do the show from my car on my phone. And I'm schlepping it to with my backpack where it's even more embarrassing how far I have to walk. Oh, it's the worst. What Taylor is saying is in the middle of the summer in July, we had VIP spots. I mean, I was parking right up front. I would park right by the building. Walk right in. It would take me five seconds. Now we're parking like 50 rows deep. It is really annoying. So is there a market for somebody to come down there and just ferry people to and from their car with air conditioning running? I mean, I take it. I am I'd make some money. I am I might add Ricardo's to his job responsibilities. I might buy Ricardo a golf carton. Seriously. And just say, hey, me and Stewart here. Can you pick us up? Yeah. We're about 10 minutes away. Yeah, row 50. I'll drop you a pin. Right. Mikey, have you ever been to a Gillette stadium? No. Well, in Foxboro. Really? Yeah, I'm shocked. You've never gone to a jet. Why would I go there?

5:37I mean, because you live so close, I just figured you stumbled into something there. I don't know. Why would you go there? That's where the jets, the Bart Scott can't wait game is, wasn't it? Yeah. Like that would be a great game. That would be a great game to attend. Right. But you had Mikey go and do it. Great game. Well, Gillette has a similar setup where you're parking so far away and you're having to walk across this long walkway. The words and you park into the Gillette stadium. And it's another 30 minutes before you get to the stadium. That's what it feels like right now. Yes. Gillette stadium is in a weird place. People think it's Boston. It's far from Boston. It couldn't be, it couldn't be further away from Boston. They have a, there's a mall there. There are restaurants. It's, there are hotels. I mean, it's convenient from that standpoint. If you're going to a Patriots game, you could stay at a hotel and walk, you know, 50 yards to get to Gillette stadium. But I'm with you, Taylor. If you're just parking your car, it will take you a good hour to get from your car inside of Gillette stadium to your seat to sit down and watch that game.

6:41Now imagine that setup down here except it's 105 degrees and it feels like we're in Satan's backyard. Even when you go to a game in Vegas, you walk through casinos to get where you got to go. Yes. Like they're like, no, no, no, no, you walk through the air conditioning. Don't get me wrong. You're going to lose half your money on your way to the game because you're going to stop and obviously throw down a few hands of blackjack or whatever. But like you walk through casinos to get where you have to go. I have zero desire to do what you guys are talking about. Zero. Would you describe my amy as Satan's backyard? Satan's backyard. Put it on the pole. Miami in the summer. Is it indeed Satan's backyard? I believe that it is. So you have Ricardo. You're buying him a golf cart. They're expensive, by the way. And he's going to pick us up row 50 and drive us to the front door every day. Is that what we're doing? Yeah. It's kind of like a win-win for Ricardo because he gets a golf cart out of this. Like who doesn't want a golf cart? Having a golf cart is like

7:42the American dream. Is it put it on the pole? Is having a golf cart the American dream? Ricardo just muttered. What do you? Is height man? I agree with this. And I know a guy Taylor. We can get a deal. Oh wow. Yeah, but dream bigger. You know a guy that just does golf carts? Of course he does. My cousin. Of course. That's the most I am out. Yeah, that's the most Miami thing. Yeah, he tricks him out. What does he do? Well, he buys them and then he'll we call resell him. He'll fix him up and resell him and make a little bit of dough, but we can buy a good deal. So like real estate. So we'll buy like you know a cheap golf cart, trick it out and sell it for more money. Right, but this is what Hispanics do. Sorry. What's the purpose? This is what Hispanics do. No, I will not be putting that one on the wall. And I shouldn't be laughing. Only Ricardo can say it and let. All right, so pick us up tomorrow. Row 50 done. I can't do it anymore. It's so far.

That what they're doing. Yep. So I have a, I have about 10 that I wrote down from fans being sent in. Okay. And some of the names are common across their Mount Rushmore. Yep. The most popular name. Bumani. Bumani is almost on everybody's list. Sims is almost on everybody's list. Mm-hmm. The one that we're leaving off that are on a lot of people's Mount Rushmores. Jess. 19:27Wisconsin here putting a passion project into play every single day. I'm out raising Japanese Wagyu. American Wagyu, Angus cattle out here teaching my kids out of farm and ranch and then bringing that beef right to the consumer we sell online and then we've got distribution nationally through retail chains and through restaurants and it's just a beautiful day every day I get to go outside and chase cattle and also chase my kids around a little bit. It sounds delightful. Do the kids like it? Do they enjoy it? Heck yeah I mean I love it you know being able to work alongside your kids and teach them something when they're actually listening to you. It's kind of something that's new but when you got a 1500 pound power, a 60 and a pound steer on the other side of the gate like they're listening pretty intently because life is on the line and it's awesome. I mean they love being out here. It's kind of the middle of nowhere in the driffless area of Wisconsin but it's a beautiful part of the country. If you've never been here and we raised some fantastic beef because of the terroir. It's like fine wine you know we're trying to produce that healthiest

I am wondering here, Joe, what'd you make as a former Cleveland Brown is maybe the greatest Cleveland Brown player of all time? What'd you make of their decision to go with DeShon Watson over Sanders? I wasn't totally surprised. I got to spend a lot of time with them in training camp calling their preseason games and then doing some coaching when I was out there. And for the majority of training camp, DeShon was ahead of Shadour as far as comprehension of the offense, being able to get the football out of his hand, operation, getting the offense and the play that Coach Munkin wants and making sure that the balls being delivered on time and on the money and being a two-play quarterback. Coach Munkin talked about that throughout his time here. He's used to Lamar Jackson in Baltimore so he likes a quarterback that if things break down they can break outside the pocket, they can make a first down with their legs, they can also break outside the pocket and then throw the football deep down

21:34the field. And so I think even though the last preseason game that both those guys played in, which was the second one, was an abysmal failure for DeShon and Shadour played very well. I think Coach Munkin looked at the totality of their work from the time that he got there and he said, hey, I'm a six-year-old first-time head coach. I'm not trying to win for somebody else into the future or set the table for somebody else to have success. I need to win now and I'm trying to instill and install my culture from week one. So I'm going to make a decision for week one and then see what happens after that and out of his own words, he has said that he feels DeShon is able to operate the offense at the best level of the quarterback's on the roster and gives him the best chance to win in week one and that was solely what the decision was based on. Joe, you mentioned the beef and when you look at the browns, they got rid of their entire beefy offensive line. Historic turnover, all five guys are gone, bringing in five new guys. How much will that affect what happens with DeShon Watson? I think it affected things early on but being around that offensive line, they actually geled pretty quickly. I was pretty impressed. I mean, they brought

22:38in a bunch of veterans across the board. Obviously they got Spencer Fano, who's their rookie first Sean draft choice. First offensive lineman off the board in the draft this past season. He's been growing in leaps and bounds. He earned that starting job and went through training camp. He's been looking great. And then the rest of those guys, they've got a lot of experience and I think they built a chemistry pretty quickly and that's really important on that offensive line. But I think just leaning into the experience that those guys have had in other places, albeit but in similar type offenses, it made him gel pretty quickly. And I think they'll be one of the sneaky strengths of the browns offense this year. Joe, as a Hall of Fame offensive lineman, a lot of the times we hear that voters don't really know what goes into offensive line play. So it's harder for offensive lineman to go into the Hall of Fame. I want to make you the head of the Hall of Fame for offensive lineman He should be. Yeah, he's the greatest every offensive lineman comes to your desk. And then you you have the say you stamp him Hall of Fame or not a Hall of Fame like the emperor from Gladiere. Exactly. I'm ready to be the Caesar of Gus. This is a lot of pressure. There's been a lot of great

23:44offensive lineman, but you're right. It's always difficult because you talk about quarterbacks going into Hall of Fame. You talk about coaches, you talk about receivers like they have stats. You can stack them up against guys from other generations, but it's a lot harder on the offensive line, especially if you look at the pre pro football focus era, where really the quality of the offensive line play came down to, hey, did his peers vote him into the pro bowl, which turns into be a little bit of a popularity contest in years past. And what does the media in that area think about that offensive lineman and has he had a good running back with them. So they've got some rushing yardage. Did the quarterback play well so he didn't take a lot of sacks and how did they win in the playoffs in the Super Bowl? And so those are things that you know oftentimes don't reflect necessarily on the job that that certain offensive lineman did or didn't. But I think we've come a long way with pro football focus because they may not be perfect, but at least they're watching every play and they're grading all those guys. So you have a general idea of who's playing well, who may not be

24:45playing quite as well. And you can look back in time throughout a player's career and say like, hey, he consistently graded as one of the top five players at his position. He is definitely Hall of Fame worthy at least of that consideration. How would Joe Thomas as a former offensive lineman feel if he was going out on the field still playing and he was going up against Aaron Donald and Miles Garrett. Well, here's my little quick. This is my retirement paper. I would like to just retire because I am not walking on that field to go against those two beasts. I mean, when I think of in my generation in the last 40 years watching offensive and defensive lineman go at it, the best defensive tackle I ever played against or ever saw was Aaron Donald. Wow. The best defensive end I ever played against or saw was Miles Garrett. I'm surprised on the same side is just flat out unfair. Joe, there was there's always a lot of pressure when when great players retire to come back. I remember everybody Cleveland clamoring for you to return. But Aaron Donald

25:46is actually doing it one two years after after hanging it up. What do you expect from him? Do you expect that we see 85% Aaron Donald 100% so I think honestly Aaron Donald is a unique specimen. There is one of one in the history of the world that is Aaron Donald. And so honestly, I think from a performance standpoint, athletically power, I'm sure he's been working out. He's a guy like me that gets up and works out probably every day. And I think he's going to be able to play great. My big question is what type of work has he been putting in the last two years around the clock? You know, I trained to feel good and to try to stay in shape, but I don't train for the NFL anymore. There's a difference between being in good shape and being in NFL shape. And so my question is I think he'll be ready for those first few games. But can his body survive the duration of a 17 game season? That's really the question because you got to put in that training around the clock in the off season to build up those calluses on your body to be able to build that durability

26:49so that you can survive in NFL season. There's a beating that your body takes that when you retire, you quickly forget what that was like and you forget the work that was put in to get you to that position to be able to play 17 games in a season. And I do question if he's going to be able to stay on the field for 17 weeks because that is a long season and to do it after two years off. I mean, it takes a special human, but hey, hats off to him. Does anybody have planned or this airdoddle? What is the last time someone asked Joe Tom is to come back? Oh, it's been a few years. I hit per place last year. So I think that finally put everybody on notice. This is not happening. I do not have any gas left in the tank. And I always told people look, I didn't retire because I was bored and wanted to go farm, although I love farming now and trying to raise amazing beef, but like I retired because my body could not handle it anymore. Trust me, but I would love to make the money that those guys are making right now and come back. Absolutely. Like there's no better job in the world than playing in the NFL. And if you can do it, play as long

27:52as you can, but I did not have one more snap left in my body. But if Mick Vaig calls today and just says, Hey, Joe, we need you for a couple of snaps. You'll be a member of the Rams. We have a good chance of winning the Super Bowl. Would you think about it? I mean, just maybe if it was the week of the Super Bowl, it's time me. I show up. I did my best on that field, but make sure you got that golf cart with the stretcher. It's in park, but it's turned on and ready to come to get. Yeah, we're getting you out of here in a couple of minutes. I have a question for Taylor Mikey. If I had Joe's background, would you guys think of me because in his background, there were tools. There's farming equipment. He's a man. It's a man's background. Yes. Would you say man's background? Would I look more manly if I had that kind of background? No, I'd wonder who's house you are. All right. I just had to ask because Joe was a man. What's the best cut of state, Joe? We had this conversation on the air the other day. What is the best cut of stake according to

28:55Joe Thomas? Out of the traditional middle meets, rib eyes, strips, tenders. I'm a New York strip guy. However, the way that we grow on our farm is the most tender, marbled, mouthwatering, delicious beef you've ever had. Like you know how great life is when you sit there and you're just sweating out that wagyu beef and life is absolutely at its finest when you're doing that.
