6-0-1-995-1017, if you want to jump in on this conversation,
there was some surveys done about taking pictures,
special pictures, if you will.
And you may want to think twice before you do that
the next time, but this study was looking at teenagers
and found one in three teens had received a naughty picture
and one in four have sent one, the explicit images.
And this is where I was like, oh, that is not good.
Half of people who have sent a dirty picture
have had it shown to somebody that they did not want to see it,
whether it was posted online or just passed around
Yeah, if you ever been in like a group of girlfriends
and maybe one of them got a picture,
and I think it's not bad if it's an unsolicited picture
that they get, but if it was solicited,
do they ever, have you ever had a friend like,
oh, look, my man's working.
I have only seen the unsolicited.
Like that was definitely a thing,
especially in college, whenever that seemed to be an epidemic
of the unsolicited pics showing up in our phones
that we had like a dedicated group chat
to being like, here's one I just got.
I remember, I think I was like a senior in high school.
There was a girl who took some pictures
and like the whole entire school saw that.
She ended up being our historian.
Well, seriously, I hate that for her.
She was our class historian.
So, 601, 995, 101, 7, I would be curious to know
if anybody has had their pictures get out there.
I mean, luckily the conversation started like as soon as
texting and texting pictures was like common for us
in high school and stuff.
I feel like it was everywhere
that it's like be careful.
Any pictures you share, you never know
where they're going to end up.
So that was always in the back of my head.
Like don't send pictures like that.
Just because somebody might use them against you one day.
We had a police officer come and do an assembly
about a few different like teen activities.
Like drugs was part of it,
but the guy's name was Officer Stoner.
I'll never forget that.
He's talking to us about drugs,
but it also also got into like the dirty picture
conversation and he's like, I will arrest you
because that is against the law.
If you're under 18 and that's okay.
All right, Officer Stoner, whatever you say.
601, 995, 101, 7 is our phone number.
If you want to join the conversation this morning,
this is a crazy text from Connor.
Every year at my youth group in New Orleans,
there was an agent who worked for the FBI
specializing in human trafficking.
And would give a speech about the dangers of sexting.
And for a while, it seemed over the top,
but one person in our youth group ended up getting kidnapped.
And another was arrested for sending pictures of a minor.
So I guess it was all valid.
Love your show, by the way.
That's a crazy story.
It is a bizarre story.
