Si & Lana are heading to the UK... But need expert help ✈️

I did say I'm not organizing it Which is fair because imagine trying to organize us, but he said here's my budget go to house of travel So so here we are with that one house of travel hey, hey, Darwin good morning. No, thanks You are the organizer of said trip Darwin thank goodness And this is like what you do right you are you I mean your house of travel if we got Simon to book this will be on a hovercraft It will take us two weeks. 1:01And it's all about a collaboration so it's about us discussing what your Travel to the UK could look like and we can together so we'll be looking at your flights and your accommodation and what to do and see While you're there just to make sure that it all weeks seamlessly. They're quite sort of far-reaching expectations Simon Even with the media park. I'm sure not impossible. Well, so we have the phases of travel the cycle of travel right is the dreaming phase and then there's the planning and booking phase Which we'll get to pretty shortly. Yeah, the go phase where you know you get there Go fade on your flights you go and you get there to the UK and then there's the sharing phase where you're you know She your photos and videos with family and friends you punish everybody with all of it

2:03Yeah, they can enjoy the excitement with you as well. Yeah, yeah, so this is very good because as I say I've done very little travel Lana's quite experienced we went to Korea for a Tom Cruise interview and I've very really This is not made up down. I nearly missed the plane poor Lana was beside herself. She was apoplectic I didn't turn up then I left my tuxedo at the airport back at Casino Never taken an Uber so we hit the download the Uber at Wolland Korea It was just there was a lot of things that I'm glad we did that trip because now it means for something on a much larger Grandascale, you know you stop by Imagine Halfway or in a flight and you've got to sort yourself out and get to a new gates These are all the areas where I'm traveling with someone that's high risk and I Supposed you deal with that quite a bit for people coming in we do Yes, we have travelers across the spectrum yeah, and I'm sitting here across two people that might be either end of the spectrum So I know that yes, if things are gonna go wrong perhaps they'll go wrong for you

3:04Yeah, for Lana you're from what I understand a plane spot Yeah, so you're familiar with airports and that sort of thing But we will make sure that your arrangements are as seamless as possible Right and we'll try and mitigate any risk for things to go wrong sign there Yeah, and where are we staying is it expensive accommodation? What's that big fancy hotel like oh the Savoy yeah the Savoy Actually, we were looking at what we'll talk about that together just to make sure that we've got the right The right type of accommodation The right location The boss does in the boss budget Yeah, yeah, yeah, we've got strict criteria that was Upon us so so we'll work with a net lean budget to ensure that we've got something that's in the right location the right place And it's gonna be comfortable for you We were looking at the moment is not too far from the Savoy But it's not the Savoy What is it so this is very exciting like what's the Savoy cost for a night if I if we were to say Savoy someone help me out here is it's a big five seven eight nine star Yeah, I've seen this in the movies. There's a voice like one of the most iconic

4:07Yeah, it's a prestigious hotel And I think if you book well and advance on a non-refundable rate you might get it for somewhere around two and a half thousand dollars Oh And night yeah, yeah, they're on on the base rates here and it's really It's booking in advance and leaving that's an advanced Lana here So if we rocked up and said what's your room rate for tonight? Yeah, it could be anywhere up to five to seven thousand dollars a night. Yeah I reckon buster right now. We love in this chat Change with the pound at night. Okay, so you take the details in terms of what we want to do and then you go You I guess you take that all the way and you might be building an itinerary of sorts and then we just kept talking to you That's right. Yeah, so we have a conversation and so we work with you with the requirements that you have and we build The framework which is a flight to and from and the accommodation and then we go to the next phase and it's like What are we going to do the real exciting stuff? What are we going to see there? How are we going to enjoy the UK? Incredible exciting the last thing before we let you go because I know we're going to have another check with you down the track

5:09But if I were to get arrested for painting one of the Royal Palace horses Do you have you ever dealt with that a customer that's booked with you and then they get in trouble? Fortunately most of our customers at House of Traveler well behaved Simon But I do understand that it's not actually illegal to pat the Guardsman's horses Oh look at his eyes go up.
