Okay, Seven stops to write this best man's speech.
Hi, I'm Liam.
And I've got nothing.
Start funny.
When he's good.
I beat her.
He'd never forgive me.
What about friendship?
Is a journey.
Ugh, cringed.
Come on.
That's it.
In year five, Dan had the bright idea to cracking the best best man's speech.
On the train.
You can.
Hi, this is Pablo Torei from Pablo Torei finds out.

Welcome to the Fight Night Daily Podcast from Talksport.
We're inside.
I used to know this is the Hilton Hotel, but I'm told that this is now Deans Get Number
One, where we've just been holding the press conference for the Magnificent 7, which
you're going to be bringing in live at the weekend on Talksport.
Obviously, Moses and Tom are in the main event against Jim Main, Franklin.
I'm an agricultural Spencer all over this year.
I've no doubt we're going to be talking about various things that I've been getting up
to this week.
I'm a little bit of a crack about it, but one of them in card first of all, let's talk
about some of positive power.
We've got another card on the runs.
Absolutely, we have got a hell of a card, and we will talk about that, but I have to address
the situation.
Listen, it's been an eventful 24 hours for you.
Let's just say it out.
What are you alluding to?
I'm alluding to the kind of been interview, just for what I have to bring it up, because
obviously it is a big talking point.
Talk is for you.
Well, listen, I think I've said everything that I need to say.
I was obviously on Simon and Jim Shaw a little earlier on.
I'm disappointed in my own personal performance, but, you know, he's being kind of right now.
He's obviously preparing himself for a fight on Airport 11th.
The audience are going to make their own mind up.
I think when you talk to talk like I talked to them in the last four years, mate, you've
got to walk a little bit, and for some reason, for whatever reason that I haven't come to terms
with yet, I didn't pull the trigger.
Obviously it'll come back.
Is that the disappointment, no?
Before we move on to the show, you know, we should be moving on to the show.
Is that the disappointment that you maybe never addressed certain situation or asked
him certain questions?
I mean, what?
Because I watched the interview, and yeah, you could have gone harder in certain points
or whatever.
But what was the biggest disappointment for you?
That.
Not.
I overthought him it.
I overthought him.
When you're in that environment, you overthink things a little bit as I did.
It doesn't normally happen, but it did that time.
There were certain things that I kind of skirted around where we could have gone a little
bit deeper.
I didn't pull the trigger.
Hopefully it comes back.
Let's take the positives out of that, mate.
You built the bridge.
You know, you've reached the gap with talkspool, mate.
So let's move on with that.
Let's move on.
Ezra Taylor.
Yes.
Brilliant for you.
Brilliant for you.
Brilliant for you.
Brilliant for you.
Let's bring someone on.
Let's get a little bit of positivity in here, mate.
Listen, with this fight, last week, I was covering a different sport, right?
So I kind of got distracted with how good this card is.
It's only really in the last couple of days that I've had a little bit of sit down,
a little bit of a nausea about it.
And for everybody that's going to be consuming this on talkspool in the weekend, it's
packed from top to bottom.
And with all due respect, my friend, your fight with Mr. Hutchison is the one that jumps
up the page, I think, for a lot of fight bands where we're looking at it as a potential
to be in fight of the night.
Is that how you're seeing it, or are you seeing it more as a performance of the night rather
than a fight of the night?
Yeah.
For me, it's a performance of the night.
I'm going to show discipline and all the hard work that I've gone through on Saturday
night.
That's about it.
And I guess, Willie Hutchison, he's a detainment.
I'm not letting you to say that.
So you're probably going to bring me something that, you know, I haven't seen before, but
I'm ready for whatever he's got.
You asked for it, according to him, on the top table.
You asked for this fight.
Talks me through that process, why?
Yeah, yeah.
Because on people right now, he's ahead of me.
I'm here to be the best in the world.
So if I'm not going to be calling out people like this or not, you know, challenging myself
against this type of opposition, what am I doing in this sport?
It doesn't make any sense.
If you look, sorry.
Go ahead.
No, no, no.
I was going to say, it's the launchpad for you, isn't it?
It's part of the development.
You know, he's done that.
He's been there.
He got his opportunity against Joshua Blacksea.
He come back last time against Mark Jeffers putting a great performance saying, so he sort
of derailed, re-railed, and he's put himself back on track.
He's still only 20, 70 years of age, but for you, you know, with Malik Scott and showing
your commitment there, training with him, and sort of like, you know, progressing and
moving through.
This is a big step up for you.
So although people will see this as a January 50, 50, he's sort of like the known versus
the unknown.
So it is the launchpad.
Yeah.
And it's amazing.
It's a great opportunity.
And it feels exactly like that as well.
After I beat Willie Hutchinson, I feel like that's the way I solidify myself in the
lot of heavyweight rankings, you know, because again, I have enough humility to know where
I am.
Not a lot of people know much about me.
Young 13 or no.
And I've taken step ups.
And this is another step up.
And my next fight will be another step up because that's my trajectory.
That's where I want to go.
In terms of my opponent, essentially, he's been there before.
And if you've been here before, that means you've done something wrong.
You shouldn't be fighting me.
Like I said beforehand, I should be fighting you.
To be faithful to be able to fight you because you've done something wrong.
I'm doing things right.
And on Saturday, I'm going to get it right again.
Talk to you about training with Mali.
Because every time I hear him speak, he saw articulate, he saw to the point.
Is that what he's like when he's coaching you?
Are you the type of kid that loves those little pointers?
Those little intricacies that he can add?
Those little wrinkles that he can add to your game?
That's exactly what it is.
But see with me and Malik, that chemistry is crazy, man.
I like to say the analogy of like all the comparison of Mike and Cuss.
That's how I kind of feel it because the way he's on, that's deep, man.
You've got, you've got right to the top there, right?
And that's exactly what it is.
And God will I'm able to show that on Saturday because we're very, to the point,
attention to detail, intricate details, me and everything.
He doesn't let me get away with doing a shot if it's not right.
So think about that.
So your training comes off physically, but when I have the mental strain of the passion
that we both have to get things right over and over again,
that on his own is a lot, man.
It's a lot and it's forged me into a different type of diamond right now.
And Ezra, I've just got to ask you about that dedication and that commitment
that you give to the sport.
Can you just explain how difficult that is because it's not an easy process that one.
You know, to back yourself up, go away, it's difficult.
Yeah, very, very difficult, but it's so, I'm so used to difficulties.
It's becoming easy, it's becoming the norm.
It's becoming the uncomfortability that I've been searching for.
Like, training comes on dark.
They're not just going in, they're hitting the back of the spine,
any guys on the spine, wall champions.
Sometimes we're not getting it right, and the next day we've got to come in
and get it right.
You know what I'm saying?
Each and every day we put in 110%.
That's what it's about.
You see, on Saturday, it's the easy part.
I've done the whole part.
I've really been in darkness and it's been held on Earth.
And now I'm here.
This was out of heaven, man.
Even when I'm making weight, I can't drink too much.
I can't eat too much.
I'm having a bowl, man.
I've got a big smile on my face.
I'm enjoying it.
And Saturday night, you'll see what discipline, sacrifice and hard work looks like.
Looking forward to the performance.
Thank you very much for your time.
Enjoy the rest of your week, man.
Go for it.
Go for it.
There you go.
We've got Jement Franklin.
That's right.
Let's bring him in.
How are you, Jement?
Welcome, man.
Come through.
Jement.
There you go.
Right, welcome back to the UK.
Sorry.
Listen, last time we saw you, the locks.
What happened, man?
What happened to the hair?
I'm standing in the lobe that I have to chop.
It's either chop or I have to be barred and I can do it.
Don't worry, mate.
I've got someone out.
I can put you in touch with someone.
Come on, we took off to the show.
Saturday, we've got to go back or I've got to fly to Turkey.
Listen, regarding the fight of the weekend, obviously.
This is a young man that a lot of those British fight fans are extremely high on.
We've been talking him up to this particular point, but I don't think any of us would underestimate the challenge that stands in front of him in yourself this weekend.
You've obviously been here improving yourself on countless occasions against what we were classed as some of our best heavyweights.
When you look at him, what is the challenge facing you at the weekend?
I mean, I'm not to look at it.
I mean, I don't like to look at it as a challenge.
But I see a couple of obstacles.
Handspeed shouldn't need it too much of a problem.
But when I watch you, he guys a little bit of a ringed IQ about punch placement and a heart of punting and like, when to push the pace.
So this is really about being smart and trying to take his game plan from him.
You've been in this position before, though, haven't you?
You've been in with the Antony Josh with the Delian White.
You've been at the top of the game.
So you understand this pressure.
It is different because they're talking about this kid being the next new kid on the block.
How do you deal with that?
I've seen you working, by the way, in the gym.
So I know the work that you've actually put in.
But how do you deal with the young kid coming from?
I mean, I don't worry too much about it.
I love a challenge.
I'm kind of different in that aspect.
The only thing I would say a young guy has over me is that that young guy energy.
You know, they have a different burst of energy.
But if I can tame the energy, then I have no problem.
It's a different pressure for you, I mean.
You know, like I said, I love a challenge.
I love the fight.
That's what I do.
So I just look at it as, you know, I get to go enjoy my life again.
You came into the talk sport building recently, didn't you?
I believe that you met a friend of mine, Mr. Simon Jordan.
Yeah, he's talking some crap talking about me getting knocked up.
Tell him to put some money up.
What?
Listen.
Obviously, the people have opinions on this game, and that's his job.
My job.
Spends his job, obviously, to give those types of opinions and try and call through, particularly fights.
How does that make you feel?
You this type of guy that's able to block out the noise and just concentrate on yourself.
Or does that still actually fuel you a little bit further?
It feels me a little bit, but I'm lazy to focus.
I know I've got a job to do, so I'm preparing to focus on the job I have to do.
It's just when you hear so much, it kind of adds fuel to the fight.
So, you know, some of it, I take as a little disrespect, but I know how the reporting job is.
So, you know, I don't stress about it.
The task I had, obviously, with Moses being ranked highly in certain sanctioning bodies.
If you derail the trend on Saturday night, then my opinion is that you end up taking that particular position,
and therefore then the door opens for you.
I need a world title after that.
Anyone in the champion's, I need them.
I don't care who it is, if you've got a belt I'm coming for.
So, you're still...
People will probably...
The people that don't know, you're still 32 years of age, you're still very much in your prime.
Maybe around, it's been around, yeah, mate.
What I'm saying is he's been around a long time, you know.
So, you hear the naming, you think of the experience, and you're saying,
like, veterans of the sport and like, he's still very much in the prime of his career.
And we had that conversation, didn't we, about you saying, listen,
I like being the underdog, I'm there to, you know, shock in the world.
And you get your opportunity on Saturday night.
Yeah, you know, that's always been the point of my career.
I've always been cast out, been caught underdog.
I've been caught by God that wouldn't make it, you know.
And I prove those people wrong time and time and time again.
Talk, mum.
Listen, enjoy Manchester, enjoy the rest of your week,
and we're looking forward to seeing you doing your thing on Saturday night.
Thank you, mate.
Take care of your mate, enjoy the rest of it, mate.
Okay, seven stops to write this best man's speech.

There you go.
We've interviewed him before.
Obviously the build up to the edge of the fight.
Obviously the build up to the white fight.
Nothing surprises me with that man's demeanor.
He's always dead cool.
He's always dead calm.
In the night against Dillion, with all due respect to Dillion,
a lot of people actually thought that he nicked it.
Yeah.
And obviously against the edge of the game,
I'm just taking the distance.
I just think that Olympic per degree just shot a little bit further
in the fight for Anthony Joshua.
He's up against something a little bit different this week.
Isn't it?
Because Moses does have that speed.
His footwork is brilliant.
The way that he controls range.
But he is one tough cookie man.
He's proven it time and time again.
And if he can work,
almost he's down and try and get him into the second half of the fight.
You never know.
It's every way boxing.
Listen, this tells me a lot more about Moses and Talman.
And it will germane frankly, like I say.
I've seen him in training camp.
Through this training camp.
I know what he is.
You know he's ticked tough.
He's tricky.
He's hard to get out of there.
So we know what he is.
He is what it says on the tin.
This is about Moses and Talman.
Moses is a Talman this fight for me to say, look,
if he's as good as we think he is,
he will win this fight and win it comfortably.
And if there's still a learning process to go through
and a development stage still to go through,
germane frankly will give him problems.
So it tells us a lot more about Moses and Talman after Saturday night.
Well, it's a barometer, isn't it?
Because obviously, Germain has been in with us two lads
that I've just mentioned a month or two ago.
If Moses has been doing and blows him away,
and does something really impressive,
it's going to be very hard to hold Moses back, isn't it?
Well, Frank Warren said himself, didn't he?
He said like, you know, this is the year.
We want Moses and Talman boxing for a World Cup this year.
And you know, with Alexander Rusik, you know,
boxing van Hauven, and we don't know what's going to happen
with the titles.
And there's a lot of interim champions out there.
Moses is ranked number one in a couple of those governing bodies as well.
That opportunity will come this year.
If he comes through to germane frankly, which is the test?
You know, the bench mark to see where he's at.
And then they're going to cut the leash.
They let him off the leash.
They have to, wherever he gets rid of Germain in one round,
or he has 12 hard rounds.
And I hope he gets a credit for it.
Because Ian Amug.
This is a great piece of matchmaking.
If Moses does what a lot of people are expecting him to do,
come Saturday night, he deserves the credit.
Because that guy hasn't been stopped before.
He's been in the air.
He's a very heavy hitter.
Do you like him?
Well, most people think that he actually beat Do you like?
And didn't lose that majority of the season that night.
I've seen him sparring through the straining cap.
Not just on one occasion, but on a number of...
What I'm saying is Bon Charles.
So I see what goes on from day to day.
What I'm saying is, you know what?
Fans can get like some time.
Ah, it wasn't all real chalice for Moses.
That's just maybe because Moses is just off on a different planet.
You know what I mean?
You've got to give him the credit if he does come through it
in the style that a lot of people are anticipating that he's going to come through it.
Is the fight tonight the one that jumps off the page?
Willie, you're insinuating.
S and S.
One million per second.
It's not even a conversation.
On me, you know, I think that you've got two great characters there.
Ezra Taylor, Launchpad.
Easier is good as what we all believe.
He is, Malik Scott's believed in him.
He's shown a lot of commitment, a lot of dedication.
All of that ticks all the boxes and seems to be solid.
Right through the foundations.
And you go, we're Willie Hutchinson.
You know, there's a little bit of everything in there.
A sprinkle of nuttiness.
You know what I mean?
There's a little bit of everything in there.
But the character's not in.
But he's not just a character.
He can fight it.
Yeah.
And he's proven that he can fight.
Yeah.
A lot of what's your block of the Black Sea?
Then he goes soul searching.
A little bit re-bounds, builds back.
Mark Jeffers gets a job done inside the distance as well against Numbi and a opponent.
And puts himself, he's re-railed.
This is a great fight.
A 50-50 fight.
Proven versus the unproven.
And the proven really going into this one's Willie Hutchinson.
Because he's boxed at that level.
Yeah.
Listen, I'm a massive fan of Ezra Taylor.
And I think this is an opportunity for him to break out.
Obviously, it's more of the mainstream.
From a Willie point of view, he's got to fight his fight.
Sometimes he gets caught up in fighting somebody else's fight.
And that's how he can maybe get behind on the cards.
And he ends up chasing it down the stretch.
If he fights, if he fights his fight, this could be an awkward night for Ezra to come.
Absolutely.
Great assessment.
And I think that if Willie Hutchinson gets into that river,
and that's where he's difficult to beat then.
You know, he's boxing with all the docs in your switch south,
or he's controlling his face and he becomes a winner.
Yeah.
Because I still get excited though, no one fights like this.
No, what I'm saying is that then he becomes a problem.
Yeah.
Ezra Taylor, as we've seen, he's done nothing wrong so far.
I'm beating him for him.
You know, done everything.
Ticked all the boxes.
But we find out more about him for sure.
And Willie Hutchinson's still only 27 years of age.
So, you know, great opportunity for him to catapult himself back up there.
Brilliant fight.
A lot in the line for both guys.
I don't know what the pomp and ceremony's been like this week for this particular card.
Across the talk's board network.
I've been kind of busy.
But, I just want to give a little bit of highlight to Liam Davis.
I'm a massive fan of Liam Davis.
You know how hard it is to become a European champion.
Absolutely.
He's now trying to do it in the second weight class.
I mean, and he's on action as well.
And he's a solid fighter as well.
I know that he's body out, grew the super band and weight division.
He's a big guy with a super band amount.
That's where I was at.
So, you know, you know, the frames.
And he become a problem frame.
We saw that in his performances.
Now, I'll put forever weight to try and do it again.
Great opportunity.
Big, big fan of Liam Davis.
So, yeah, let's see if he becomes a two weight European champion.
And as he said up there, he wants to become a two weight world champion.
I think it was the IBO super band and weight champion.
And he's looking to do a similar thing in the February division.
Final one.
One of our favourites here on talk's board, Nathan Heaney.
Feels like a bit of a crossroads moment this for him at the weekend.
A chance for him just to remind everybody.
Just how good he is.
He's obviously, he's an incredibly fit lad.
We know that he's getting a little bit older.
He's been at this higher level, of course, that night,
that he had a year in Manchester, obviously.
Yes, Denzel Bentley was sensational.
But this is a moment where he has to shine.
Yeah.
This is going to sound really harsh on that.
But it feels like there'll be a question.
If it doesn't go his way this weekend,
he'll have to ask himself a serious question as to whether he carries on.
Absolutely.
And I totally agree with that.
And we've had some magical nights with Nathan Ian.
We know he brings an army of legion of fans with him.
And they're great, great nights.
The entrance is super.
We love all that.
The performance against Brad Paul's the second time around.
We saw a slight dip in form and maybe a little deterioration.
So he's got a lot of proof to himself going into this one.
But he's going to need me for him.
I mean, listen, I'll be honest.
What do you for Denzel?
This is my point.
I thought Denzel would beat him.
But he absolutely draws that night.
This is a moment where he's done it before.
He's risen when people don't think he can.
So let's see what Nathan's all about.
That's exactly what it is.
You know, it's an interesting fight.
And it's, we'd be great to see him back in a mix.
If I'm totally honest, because I think he's a great character as well.
Big character.
But we find out on Saturday night.
Great card, by the way.
It's magnificent seven.
Yeah.
You know, the way that Frank set this up was 50-50 fights.
You look down this card.
You just go, you know what Frank respects that.
That is a great card.
Well, listen, I know that Frank just addressed it there in the press conference.
This is what he's going to win.
We've got a bottle of promoters at the moment, aren't we?
Where everybody's talking this and everybody's talking that.
And it's back and forth.
You're going to win by putting on great fights.
Yeah.
But putting on great nights of entertainment by putting on great cards.
This, for me, as it stands right now, as a card, totally.
So far this year, and all we're on the Intermarch, is the best card.
I agree.
I think there's a lot of conversations that come off the back of the most exciting,
every way outside of all, because I'm the loser.
It may be in Models of the Talmud.
And then you've got loads of little bits along the way where guys can really rise
and get themselves up to the next level.
It's a great card.
I hope that it's packed out on Saturday night.
And I know that we'll be bringing the atmosphere for you on Talksport.
That's what I'm saying.
With the fights that are on here, you go down the undercard.
If we fight, it has a meaning of some sort, of some significance.
So, yeah, let's see how it turns out.
There you go.
You can come and join us, obviously, at the weekend.
On Saturday night, we will be live from the Corp Arena here in Manchester,
as Models of the Talmud.
It takes 100 million, frankly.
Make sure you come and join me.
And the rest of the gang for a better fight night live.
We'll have a little bit from the weigh-ins, of course, tomorrow.
And I've no doubts.
The comment section is going to be full of various things connected to things
that we've been doing this week on the Talksport Box and YouTube channel.
Do you want to cuddle?
Do you want to cuddle?
I'm all right, man.
Just make sure you like and subscribe to the channel.
We're hopefully going to be getting closer to the action coming Saturday night.
And I've got nothing.
Start funny.
Funny's good.
I beat her.
He'd never forgive me.
What about friendship?
Is a journey.
Ugh, cringe.
Come on.
That's it.

Emmercing yourself in all things soccer ahead of this summer's World Cup,
I'm Alex Abnos, Senior Sports Editor from the Guardian.
Whether you're a soccer beginner or you know the game inside and out,
we've got you covered.
From one of the fastest growing soccer newsrooms,
