SNL's Michael Che Gets An AWFL Experience in Ultra-Woke Minnesota

CzabeCast

About this episode

Czabe welcomes PAUL CHARCHIAN to the pod, as he's decamped in Minnesota for 11 days doing various fantasy football shows, appearances, drafts and more. He went to a taping of a live comedy show for Michael Che, and it quickly went off the rails when a virtue signalling white woman decided she would just tank the mood in the room. Czabe addresses your complaints about ads and sound quality. Listener feedback on college tuition going through the roof. The Patriots weren't cheating (again) but they were being pretty sneaky (and effective) when it comes to opposing FG kickers. MORE......

Hey, hey, baseball is not done yet. I know Lord football has arrived and everything else feels like background noise, but I get it. I live it, but let me make a case for something real quick. And that is the baseball pen and race right now is wild and you can cash in. We're in the final weeks of the regular season. Teams are clawing for wild card spots. One run games, bullpen meltdowns, lineups being juggled every night. Now is the best baseball time of the year. And it's happening right now at my bookie.ag. My bookie has all of it every game every line baseball and football running simultaneously. It's beautiful chaos. New players use promo code Zab on your first deposit. That's Charlie Zulu, alpha Bravo Echo. If your first bet loses, you get it back up to $500 in free play plus 25 bucks in casino credit. One roll over. That's it. Don't sleep on fall baseball folks. My bookie dot AG promo code Zab. Check the site for availability in your state.

This is the Zabcast hosted by a pop tart love and kid from the mean streets of McLean, Virginia. And since you probably have other more important podcasts to waste your time on, screw those air pods in tight and let's go. Thursday, September 3, 2026. Welcome aboard everybody. We got charge coming up in just a couple of minutes. I know you're like, oh, man. I got to wait for charge. Yes, you do. I've got some business to conduct first as we are now within one week from the ascension of Lord football, the NFL returning to his autumnal throne. One week from yesterday, Wednesday is the start of the NFL season down in Australia. The Niners have already left. They're going there early to get acclimated to practice down there. The Rams mean while they're going like 25 hours before.

That's crazy. It's almost like Sean McVeigh said, yeah, I found this great deal in orbits dot com. We got a it's a two connection flight. It's one in Lisbon, another one in Anguilla, but we're going to be good. I don't know if those cities laying it line up, but you get my point. So they're two different approaches. Season starts on a Wednesday. We got a Wednesday game, a Thursday game. Then the Sunday, Slate Sunday night, Monday night. So, you know, the taffy in the NFL is getting stretched along the way. That said, before I get to charge in the news of the day and whatever charges cooking up, some electronic male, I am, I would say quite accessible via electronic male, more so than other noted national media personalities. I don't hide my email. I announce it on the podcast, Zayb at Yahoo dot com. Still got a Yahoo. Okay. Yes, I do. It has so many emails in its servers.

Why would I ever go away from it? Although it's it was supposedly running out of space. I think I ended up buying more space. I was going to try to delete a bunch of back emails to free up space. It was taken away too long. I'm sure it was a scam to get me to buy more space because now I've got Apple iCloud saying, you're out of space. You want to buy some more? I like, no, let me just go in there. I can strike and delete some things delete, delete, delete, delete, delete, you're still over your limit. Oh, God. Anyway, here's some emails. Zayb at Yahoo dot com. Michael Holland Bach writes, can we please stop with the two minute long my bookie promo announcement on the quote, add free subscriber edition of the podcast. Please and thank you. He's not the only one. Hi, Steve, please no more my bookie live read ads on the premium subscription.

Live read promo's amazing offers that you love to share with your listeners. You said $5 a month and no commercials. A promise. So promise. Please and thanks. This one from a guy by the name of V dot botzian. The V E E DOT B O T S I A N. The whole please and thanks and the succinness of this sounds like, could this be the same guy with two different emails? I don't know. But it's, I think a point that has some merit. I get it. People have also said to me, please don't promote the subscriber edition in a live read when I'm paying for the thing you're promoting already. My counter is yeah, but I want the other people to then join that subscriber feed to get Fridays and to be ad free. You're never going to be live mentioned free or at least live ad quick slip in free.

I'm not going to do a 60 second my book. Y'all though, maybe I've been going that long on some of them. I don't know. It's fair to a degree. However, what if it's something I think you people should know about a way to really fat in your bankroll for the upcoming season. Plus here's the question, how long is too long? If I crafted a 15 second tight read, just reminding people, hey, want to fat in your bankroll my bookie dot com promo code, Zab 5k, Zab 5k. And that gets you at $1500 and $5,000 sign up today. And is 15 seconds OK or are you on principle saying no, no, no, I paid for no solicitations, no ads whatsoever. No. I'm torn. I'll try to keep it brief. Let's put it that way. And I apologize for those of you who feel like I am cheating you somehow. I'm the quality control front. I'm aware of this problem and I am flummoxed as to what's going on.

But I think Mike Kupeck from Roanoke, Virginia for bringing this to my attention, bad audio. Steed. I'm a 1% or not continue to mostly enjoy the podcast. So boy, the reason I say mostly is that the last four or five Andy and Paul podcast, there is an echo that has caused me to turn it off. Last four or five Andy Paul, oh, Andy Poland, not not Paul charging charges clean. Andy though has an issue that I'm aware of. In the Andy podcast, there is an echo that occasionally pops up for five to 10 seconds. And it was so bad this past time. It caused me to turn it off. I know, Zab, you're a stickler for sound quality, but he is the only one for which this happens. So it's obvious that he is the source. Please correct it. Thanks Mike and Roanoke. Okay. I am this has frustrated me because I purchased a $90 microphone off of the TikTok shop that I gave to Andy.

So that is audio quality would be better. I have coached him up on how to use it. He is mostly set up. He knows how to plug it into his phone. He knows how to plug his headphones into the back of the mic so that supposedly you're not going to get this echo. It sounds clean and perfect. 90% of the time, but every now and then there is this fucking echo. Sorry for bumping my mic. I don't know where it's coming from. My gut feeling is Andy has his iPhone still pumping out volume in addition to the sound going to the microphone and the headphone jack in the back. But I can't check it because he lives 63.2 miles away in Rockville, Maryland. And I can't just zip over there and go, okay, let me see what's going on here. Plus it was truly a double audio situation that echo would bleed through consistently all the time. It's periodic. It's frustrating as shit. I tried to do an interview yesterday using Riverside Riverside FM is.

Dot FM is a great podcast platform that does a wonderful job of helping boost and process people's otherwise shitty audio, which I'm a big advocate of. But even that has glitches. And so I tried to do it in yesterday. It was not working. It was all glitchy. Didn't know if it was on my end. The guests send whether it was internet speed, their microphone connection. There's a million things that can go wrong and it does drive me crazy. I tried to get Tim Brando on video yesterday, but he was not able to punch in on his phone to what was supposed to be a foolproof link that I texted him on Riverside. And so I just had to go with a phone interview. I've now thought, you know what? I should just unless somebody really knows how to do their setup. I should just have a phone interview. And if I do a video clip of that interview, I'll put a graphic like they would on CNN back in the day. Here's somebody on the phone. Here's what their picture is and they're talking and you can hear them. You don't need to see them.

It's something I wrestle with. So as far as the Andy think fuck, I don't know. And then there's other people that aren't as much of a stickler for sound quality as I am. And they get very angry and I try to get them to level up their audio. And I tread gently on that because I'm convinced Scott is piping his audio from his mic, which is not inexpensive. Into his board via Bluetooth. And I can hear the Bluetooth degradation. And when I tell him it doesn't sound as good as I think it should, he quickly gets very angry and Scott normally doesn't get angry at anything. I ask him to please capitalize his name, Scott and Lynn in the video feed. So it looks cleaner to me. And he just he's a lower case or guy. I don't know, man. I don't know. I'd like to lower my standards, but I can't. And I will try the best I can with you guys more on Andy beyond just the echo.

Andy can be a polarizing figure for sure. I get plenty of people that say I love your guy's chemistry and it feels comfortable. And all the years, a list of you guys on the sports reporters, other people like that's it. I've had it with Andy. Andy smug, uncuriosity at times about things you bring up is just driving me over the edge. Polarizing. I get it bill from Harrisonburg PA. Zayba enjoyed the podcast today about college cost. My daughter went to Indiana during the Bob Knight era. My son went to Syracuse and the new house school of journalism during McNabb. Funny how they mentioned the sports references there. They had some scholarships back then, but there is no way I could afford to send them there now. Fortunately, their schooling did serve them well. My daughter is a high school music teacher in Oregon. And my son was the Miami Harrel beat reporter for the dolphins. Although he's since moved on to sales for a national precious metals company, which I guess may say something about the current sports media landscape.

Indeed. Thank you, Bill from Harrisonburg Harrisburg PA. Um, I guarantee his son is doing 2x, 3x, if not more in salary, selling for a pressure precious metals company to be to go to Syracuse, new house school of journalism, to get a job at a major newspaper like the Miami Harrel, to cover the NFL team, the dolphins. That's, that's pinnacle stuff in your field. And that used to be something you could make a career on, stock away money in a 401 case and your own kids to college and retire comfortably. Used to be that's crumbling, dying if not already dead. Another one on the college front, Joby Turner writes to say poor Andy was so out of touch about college. He seemed nonchalant about a $250,000 degree because connections. Stanford is free as his most hilarious takes so few students meet that aid standard as to make it laughable.

For priding himself as Mr. Common Man, Andy comes across as your oso typical DMV residents sneering amongst, sneering almost gleefully about how much college cost now. It's up 40% since his own son, graduate 40%. But I guess Andy got his so everybody else can suffer for a man who really cared about the abused college athletes who weren't getting paid. He sure has no sympathy for the normies who covered that tuition and or normal parents who would like to send their kids to college to get a decent education. Let them eat cake and go to Stanford, I guess. Also, you both missed the Syracuse connection. Syracuse is one of the biggest journalism schools in the country. We just mentioned that. And the biggest sports journalism school, it used to almost be a qualifier to get on the DspN Hello Mike Toreco at Al Syracuse is also imploding because well their top industry journalism is dying as well.

Sadly, still love the show. I still love you both and thanks for the opportunity to throw a rhetorical rock at Andy's head. Sincerely, joby Turner. Regarding the $500 toothbrush Ryan Schmeling says, Zabe, you missed your opportunity. It was a golden chance to call that water jet toothbrush a $500 mouth, but day. Yes. Hell, I was born to buy that toothbrush and return that toothbrush because it's got a camera in it. This is what I do. I buy cameras, I return cameras, I buy cameras, I use cameras, I eBay cameras. If it's a camera, I'm buying it. I'm checking it out. Try it. Buy it. Try it. And good by it. That's my model. Aaron Kaladni, I listened to you on Apple podcasts, Zabe, where do I rate five stars? Obviously your show. I can't find it. Sorry, Steve, aka Steve tech support, LOL, the Hebrew hammer, Aaron Kaladni.

I don't know. I'll have to investigate that myself today. If somebody knows, let me know. This regarding the airplane Todd, I mentioned at the end of yesterday's podcast with the wife with the gluten free and dairy free diet that was not met by Delta. Says Michael layman, Dr. Michael layman, he says of the Venn diagram of what you can eat is so damn small. You'll have to Google Venn diagram if you don't know what that is. If the Venn diagram is so small, not bringing your own food just in case is stupid. It's a case of, well, if you fail to plan, you plan to fail. It's completely on that guy and his wife that she was hungry on their flight. Yeah. Now there's another one. Another similar one has popped up. I don't know if this is entirely true. Nothing you see on the internet is guaranteed to be true. But it looks like it checks out and sounds about right.

This one from a blue check by the name of Giles McKenzie. Dear at hurts. Here we go. Dear at hurts, you suck. I paid for a seven passenger minivan to be picked up tomorrow for a family vacation. We're supposed to go on this weekend. But I've been informed by your Tyler, Texas location that the minivan is not available. And in fact, there are no minivan's available anywhere, apparently. Super awesome though that you can all refund me my money, but it'll take seven business days for the vacation I leave on in three days. Awesome. Even if you all were to refund it to me and get it to me today, it's an additional $200 to rent from your competitor at enterprise. He's adding everybody because it's just such short notice. Are you all going to give me that extra 200 bucks for that? I don't understand how we pay for a reservation, but your locations aren't required to fulfill those

reservations. This is the eternal iconic sign fell bit about you take the reservations. That's the easy part. He does the fake writing down things on a piece of paper. It's the holding. That's the important part, especially when they had adequate time to make sure it would be fulfilled. There's whole explainers out there on the internet that'll say, here's why. Some here's why rental car companies sometimes promise cars they don't actually have because there's cars flying all over the place and they're being returned one way and this, that and the other. And most of us don't care because you're saying, look, if you're saying it's reserved, our understanding is it's going to be there. Their idea of reserved is, well, yeah, probably, but if not, we'll figure something out. We just want your money. Why is there not some law? Or where is the consumer protection agencies to shut this shit down? I don't know. But whatever he goes on to say your customer service is non-existent.

There is no way to escalate this or even figure out who the regional or district managers are. The location numbers all just go to dial tone so I can't even contact them. This has been a disaster. Sincerely, a very upset husband and dad who announced to figure out how to cancel the family trip. We've been planning for months and hope everything. Hope everywhere else we've paid for will understand enough to give us refunds. So close to the time we're supposed to be there. And then sir, sir, you know, I know you're mad right now. You need to, you need to check yourself. You're not canceling the whole fucking reservation. You're not canceling the whole vacation. You can't look at your family and your kids. Seven people and go, sorry, hurts, fuck this. We can't go to Disneyland. Everything is off. Everything is canceled. It's a disaster. Figure it out. Rent from enterprise instead and then go to work on chiseling them for some money back for some minor little thing. Prepare at the end of the vacation to give enterprise and whoever is unfortunate enough to be behind the counter.

When you turn that van in to get the raft of your hell and to say this was wrong. This was not right. I want to refund. I want a credit for this. You might say, well, it's not enterprise fault that hurts fucked you two different companies. And you would be right. It is not their fault. It is not fair. But in today's society, the shit be rolling downhill. And so today is your unlucky day enterprise. You're catching the shit that hurts out of catch because they won't answer their phones. And I'm trying to take my family on vacation. Hopefully his dad figured out next time you assume hurts is going to fuck you. Just like the man applying Delta should assume they'll forget the gluten free dairy free meal that is precious. Bride has ordered. Assume hurts is going to fuck you get multiple vans lined up. Make sure you've got it set up so that you are not on the hook.

Read the cancellation policies very clearly. And you be the one to book three vans when you only need one and then tell the other two. Yeah. Nah. Never mind. Live and learn. Live and learn. I'll tell you what this ultimately reminds me of. It reminds me of the great side character in the sopranos. Fetlana Kirillenko. You remember her? She was the one legged one legged Russian. That was one of Tony's sexual conquest, not quite a Goumare because a Goumare somebody you take out to dinner. And as your side girlfriend in another town over that your wife, if your husband is in the mob knows about, but nobody talks about this was just a occasional conquest. That of course Carmella found out about and got super enraged talking about the one legged Russian. Cute though, Svetlana, but one one pin as Tony would say, Svetlana smoking a cigarette after one such sexual conquest had one of the best small

saliloquies written by David Chase in the entire series, talking about how Americans are so soft and view the world so differently than everybody else. Here is how Svetlana put it. Does the trouble with your Americans expect nothing but ever to happen when the rest of the world is bad only bad to happen and they are not disappointed. Have everything and still you're complaining, you lay in couches and be sure psychiatrists, you get too much time to think about yourself. That's the problem with your Americans. You expect nothing bad to happen. The rest of the world expects only bad to happen and we are rarely disappointed. I'm in the process of trying to not get fucked by the MGM Grand Corporation of which I am a MGM rewards member lowest tier by the way, Sapphire. Got a buddy who is putting together a little golf weekend late October out there and I want to go to it, but I want to stay at my place.

My spot now is Vodara, which is part of the MGM ecosystem. It's the non casino hotel that was supposed to be a bunch of condos. Now they're letting you rent rooms there that are condo rooms. They're really nice. They're sweets, whatever. And it's on the it's on the ass end of Arya. No casino in the lobby, but it's just a short little walk around the backside cab stand to get to Arya. It's great. Shouldn't be talking about it because it's my spot. Anyway, I've been looking at rooms at Vodara if I'm going to go out to this thing and I am getting consistently 30% higher room rates even though I am a so-called sapphire or lowest tier member of their MGM rewards. I'm getting 30% higher rates than a couple of my buddies who were with me in March the last couple of years with their MGM stuff and I'm like, what tier are you? Ryan O'Neill and he's like, I'm just the lowest tier. I'm a Mino, the Sapphire. I said, well, how are you getting these rates? And I went into a deep dive. I asked Grock about it.

I'm going to have to call them now. I'm going to have to call and get a human being and go, Oh, send your screen shots. It could just be an algorithm pricing where they know where my IP address is. They match that against the median household income where I'm from. They know about my search history. They got cookies, they got cashews in there and they're like, oh, yeah, this, this asshole. He's got money. He'll pay him more. Watch. Now, we already know is we already know he paid once this much for a room here. He'll do it again, put that right out there. And I know I've tried incognito. I've tried VPN stuff. It's still still not getting to the price that I need it to be. So if anyone knows about that, also more importantly, I need a partner for this event. It's a two-man event. It's two days. It's Friday. It's Saturday. We're playing out at Pauute. It is a net event. There is some gambling. It's not too much. It's $400 gambling buy-in per person for two days, two official rounds net events.

So you don't have to be like a super low handicap. You do have to have a legitimate GHIN index. And it should be a good time with about 40 or so guys playing golf for a couple of days and glorious late October when the weather out there is and it's the start of the world series. So we'll have that at night to watch and a bunch of other stuff. So I need a partner because I'm a little late to the game on this. If you are somebody who is a legit golfer with a verifiable GHIN index, better yet if you're a guy who's a good player, a single digit with a GIN handicap and with status at MGM and can book me or can get me a room. I'll pay you whatever rate you get. You're asking a lot now buddy. I know. I know. And I actually need another four. I need another two so I need three guys. I need a partner. Preferably as MGM status higher than me for a better rate. And I need two other people willing to play in this event. That's not too much to ask, is it? It's probably a lot to ask. Hey, I'm asking it. I'm putting it out there.

The Bobber with the Zabe worm is out in the water. We're going to sit back, sit on our beer and just wait for that Bobber to go, start to wiggle just a bit. We shall see October 23rd, 24th is the dates of this event. All right. When we come back, Paul, charging of fantasy football world, we'll talk to charge next. You are listening to this eight cast. Here's a scenario for you. It's a Tuesday night. There's a game on. Maybe it's good. Maybe not. Who knows? Could go sideways by the fourth inning. But if you're still parked on the couch, what are you going to do? Mybookie.ag casino. That's what you do. Slots, blackjack, roulette, right there on your phone and their live dealer tables are genuinely impressive. A real person dealing cards on a live feed feels a lot more like a casino than clicking a computer game. That's for sure. Use

promo code Zabe at mybookie.ag. New players get $25 in casino credit on their first deposit automatically. And if your first sports bet loses, they refund it up to $500 in free play. Mybookie.ag, promo code Zabe. Check the site for offered details and to confirm availability in your state. Bet smart. Get paid. This is where the DJ Cox don't say anything. Okay. Oh, beautiful. Okay. Good day. Welcome to our signal. Hi, Bob. All right. Enough of my preamble. Charge is here now live from Minneapolis where he has been in camp pretty much all week for a variety of fantasy football engagements in his former hometown of the Twin Cities. Hi, charge. How are you? How's it being back home? I'm going to still call it home. Yeah, it still feels

like home. Downtown Minneapolis has changed a little bit, but it's not totally dead. You know, there's still business happening here and people going around. I'm staying downtown right next to Manny's because I like to be in an immediate proximity. Same block as Manny's, which you can appreciate. Say, um, and he's of course the legendary steakhouse that charge is taking me to not once, but multiple times. It is outstanding. Always rated one of the top steak houses in the country. A lot of people have personal feelings about a burns and Tampa is much better or the place in Indy. Forget which one that is, which is not close, by the way, I've been to the place in Indy. It's not even in the name of the place in Indy. Um, I'll come up with it burns, though, in Tampa is a legendary steakhouse. Yeah. Chicago's got a bunch of them that people think are great. It's a big meat processing city. So you can understand the thinking I have yet to go to a Chicago steakhouse. That's as good as Manny's in the Twin Cities. Right. And you know, at the end of the day, let's all be honest, it's cow delicious cow moo. That's the, you know, how you do your cow moo is a

big part of this. You know, Manny's has got this, this, um, this oven that will go to like 1500 degrees. I mean, do you just, you can't replicate at home what you're going to get there. And that's part of what I, that's part of what I love about the Manny's experience, along with the brownie and the asparagus. That's the size of a tree trunk. And it's the experience and all the extra stuff. In addition to the, um, yeah, scene Elmose is the same almost overrated. Well, have you been to the legendary Golden Steer in Vegas? I have. Well, in fact, I was, wasn't I there with you? I believe I was. Last, last, last, well, you and I went, Mike, big, big Mike came for the meal, which was very nice, very, very, good. But Mike, the Mike, the Wish foundation, as we call it, with his connections, it's very hard to get into the steakhouse. It's off the strip. It's in just a little nondescript business

park development strip mall area has a dilapidated old yellow sign, but was once the steakhouse in town for the likes of Muhammad Ali and Sammy Davis, Jr. and others. So it's, it's really good. And they make a, they make a salad table side, a Caesar salad table side, all the ingredients tossed together that is the stuff of legend, which I'll give a shit about because I don't eat salad. You know, is what my food eats charge like great Ron Swanson one said parks and wreck. They were see that. Yeah. Um, can I tell you about the most interesting thing I've done in Minneapolis so far? I'm dying to hear it. Go Michael Che is on saturday night live. He's part of the, the, the, the, the weekend news team with Michael Cheyde, that guy who does the insult trading at Christmas time with Colin Yost where they read really, racially insensitive jokes that were written for the

other guy. So they, and it's hard to even spit the words out there that wrong. It's, it's, so funny. It's the, about the best thing that saturday night live has ever done is the joke exchange at Christmas for those two guys. It's, it's outstanding. And he is filming a special in downtown Minneapolis. And when you're filming the special, they do the bit where they film, films four of these and he wears the same clothes so they can patch together the best moments of all four of them into one special. And I was there for taping number three. And he, uh, he comes on stage. And by the way, when you do that, when you go to this, you can't leave your seat. You can't go to the bathroom. You can't go get a drink. You have to stay, you have to stay in your seat the whole time. That's part of the rules. Uh, what are the, how do they have bouncer's? Um, as you're going to hear, yes, they do have bouncer's. So he's, now this is, this is a very

Minneapolis kind of story. He, he comes out and the right out of the gate, he uses a word that starts with R that some people find offensive for mentally handicapped people. And you probably know the word I'm, I'm thinking of, I will say it, but you don't feel comfortable saying it. So you probably don't feel comfortable hearing it. You can say it. I don't mind hearing it. Retarded. Yes. Now I say that because I am purportedly part of the aggrieved class, potentially aggrieved class by the insensitivity of the name because I have a daughter who is on the autism spectrum. And so therefore, people with special needs kids are some of the ones that are the most offended about it. But as I have grown up calling my friends retards for years, it doesn't mean you're actually retarded or slow or it, it means you're being stupid and annoying. The word because of its phonics hits so well retarded retarded retarded retarded retarded retarded

you can bend it certain ways. Funnically, it's the perfect insult word. But if you're triggered by it and you're offended, I'm sorry, I guess I can't help you. But anyway, continue. Yes. And so he's got a whole bit. The first five minutes are really about how he wants to re-normalize the word because it's the perfect word for Donald Trump. And so he's doing this whole bit. And there's with the first time he drops it, there's kind of a paw in this Minneapolis audience. Like in Minneapolis of fall. Yes. Yes. Yes. You know, this is this is ground zero for woke town. And so he says it once. And there's this sort of just like, he says it again. And then he there's a whole bit is around saying it. And so he keeps saying it. And there's a woman who starts yelling back at him. Of course. Of course. It's a woman. Of course. It's a white. It's a white lady who's about 55 years old.

Of course. An awful as we call them. Affluent white female liberals. So an awful dive. You never heard of that term for them. Yes. All those are currently the re-enation of our entire country. But don't give me start on that. So yeah. So she starts going to cave up for the cause. So eventually she becomes disruptive to the point that he has to stop his bit. And as all good comedians do, stand up comedians do, he's got a heckler path for her. And so he's got a bit set up where he does, you know, he's got I can I can you know, I can tell he's going down this rehearsed heckler path with her about how she's secretly his dad's real mom and it's, you know, it's it's a whole bit. And we get to the end of that and we're like, okay, I think everybody's cool, right? She's laughed at her own expense or whatever. And then he says the R word again. And she throws a freaking fit. She just starts screaming. She's just screaming in her seat. Of course.

Because these women are not self-regulated. They don't know how to respond when they're demands of which they make on all kinds of segments of society. When those demands are ignored and gone against, it literally tilts them. So now she's tilted at a comedy show for a guy who is up there to perform as he sees fit. You don't like it. Fucking leave. Go ahead. Right. And this is his special, right? I mean, this is, you know, this is his comedy special. And as we were reminded by the the the warm up act, most if you are a very successful comedian, very successful, you get like four of these specials, right? It's, you know, these are very, very unique opportunities. I had to get. And it's not about you as, you know, what they, you know, what they tried to remind the audience. So she's, she is screaming in her seat. Security comes up. And now it's her and her

friend who's looks, you know, same thing, 55 years old lady. And they, they're, they're battling to, they don't want to leave. They want to keep screaming. They're fighting. Bouncers are on them and just start dragging them. They start dragging, forcibly dragging these two netwits out. And it was now, so this is, now we've had what is amounted to like a three or four minute diversion from the act. It never recovered, Zayb. The just the, the room just went ice cold. And no, yeah, the material was good. It was funny. I think that's the thing. The vibe in the room is very fickle. And that's to dumb bitches ruined it. They ruined it. Never the bit never recovered. And I don't think you got to use them for five minutes from our one, you know, our one of the four recordings was just lost. And it was, even though again, the materials great. We were all, everybody

was, was applauding when they finally got kicked out, but the room never recovered. Do you think that he and other comedians were the same exact outfit? They do. Yes. And so they can splice in stuff that does, yes, they wear the same outfit. The crowd is not as never in the shot for very long, so that, you know, they can show, match to go, hey, where you can't match with the red hat. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Right. Exactly. Yep. Okay. Uh, by the way, Michael Che is, he's black. Yeah. His real name is Michael Che Campbell. The Che is his middle name, his father, Nathan Maffer, Latin revolutionary Che Guevars. Now that sucks. That dude was that dude was with the funny killer. The people that are wearing those shirts, you know, that guy imprisoned all the gaze and Cuba. And in many cases killed them. I mean, you know, what the, the morons that wear the chase shirts, you know, come on, man. Just like history 101, you know, that Cuba's been

enslaved since the 50s because of those dumbasses. Have you, have you, have you, uh, have you, uh, watched Anthony Giselnik's comedy? Oh my god, it's so, so, so, that's so wrong. It's, when it's funny and wrong, when it comes to the most powerful comedy drug, the strongest drug. I'm talking Walter White's Sky Blue Crystal Meth of comedy. It's Anthony Giselnik. For those who have not heard, here is a sample. My high school employed a blind janitor. 100% totally blind. And all the other kids would joke around that he went blind for masturbating too much. And at the time I believe that, I realized that's just an old wives tale they used to

try to explain why he was always masturbating. I, uh, I have, of course, live in Los Angeles. I've got a nice place. Obviously. My brother's been staying with me for a couple of weeks now, which has been awful. My brother's crazy. Even my neighbors hate him. He looks to be right in the eyes and goes, shut the door. I mean, he has such a unique and incredible stage persona, very slow walking movements, very precise, tone, inflection, totally unique and will go the darkest, darkest places. Yes. And his punchlines

come out of nowhere behind you, uppercuts, blind shots, even if you've seen this guy and you're like, I know you got to be on, you got to keep your head on a swivel for the, for the punch line. You'll still miss it. I did not see that. Wow. It's, it's because, and that's, you know, that's every great joke is, uh, is because you don't see it coming and you never see his coming, because it's coming from someplace so dark and twisted that you, your brain does not go there. And I agree his delivery. That's slow cadence delivery is very, very unique for him. Every word totally measured. So for maximum effect, it's, yeah, it's, it's great. So we had our annual fantasy league, our annual elimination league, let's call it on a platform we don't need to promote, for, for whiskey, where the winter gets all the whiskey. There's no possibility of pot splitting,

like unfortunately, some fantasy leagues do. I hate that so much. Two teams get to the final and they're like, look, the pot is 1200 bucks. Can we just agree to split it? I could use the 600 bucks for, okay, that's fine. Hate that. So our, or mat is, you really can't pot split. The winter gets all Z whiskey. Seven bottles of whiskey delivered up mail. I was the guy that took the lead on, you know, organizing it and getting it whipped up this year. And I set the draft rate. That was the first point of contention. I did not overly pull the people to go, well, what do you think? How about this day? How about that day? You know what I did, Charcher. Took a flag and I went, here's the, here's the day. Yes. And you know, if you can't be there in person or you got a auto draft, you got a auto draft, probably do better for you anyway. Okay, that was step number one. Step in her two was, I said, look, this year, everyone who's going to be in has to buy, buy a bottle of whiskey, prove with a receipt that you bought it, send a picture. So we have all of these beforehand.

Not a, yeah, yeah, when the leagues overall send you a bottle of whiskey of some value. Because we have because some people didn't send, right? I assume you did that because some people will stop the dealers. I still can't ensure that they'll put them in the mail right away when the league is over, but I will harang them. But I did this because I myself was guilty of just grabbing a spare bottle off the shelf. It was a good bottle. I got as a woodford bottle. It was a barrel select pick. It was probably an $80 bottle, but it wasn't like I went out and found something interesting, different and put skin in the game money for it. Well, you can imagine this caused some people to go out here this, you know, complain about it. And I just smiled like this, charge. And I said, these are the rules. We have a week and a half to do it. I'm sure you can. Guys like Mr. X were like, oh man, I drive an hour away to the nearest liquor store up here in Maine that that sells something decent. And I said, bro, you have nothing on your calendar.

Driving somewhere for an hour is called a good use of your fucking morning. So we got everybody in with that. One of the guys, big bike started out when I announced the draft with a quick within 10 seconds. I'm out. I'm out. Not interested. And I won't be available to draft anyway. And I felt like saying then I'll put you down as a problem. Sure enough, over a week and a half, Mike is eventually in. And then not only was he in, he was in live drafting at the bar after he played a golf tournament. Now I was so happy to see that. I'm like, yay, Mike is come around, which I knew he would, right? But this is what you have to do. If you're going to organize a lead, you have to be able to stand up there, take the slings and arrows and to put a smile in your face and just be gentle and firm to go, no, this is how we're doing it. And so we have a league, which is great. And we talked shit, the on draft night, we had a separate all night WhatsApp

video call, which is great. You don't need zoom. Do you have a zoom account? So we can do a zoom call, send you a link to an email. No, have a WhatsApp thing and then just do a group call, video call, which we did. And that was tell, although I am a conscientious objector of WhatsApp, as you know, because it's storing all of your data. It's dictating your call. It is storing it from from you. It knows every word that I said, including some things that I might not be proud of in any other context besides a whiskey league fantasy draft. And it's then applying that, you know, applying that into their database. And it knows far too much about me based on all of that. That part I actively, what's app, but I'm glad that you, you were able to absorb those intrusions on your ironclad privacy, which I don't have. Which I don't have. And I don't know if you saw this today, the, the, the, the country's biggest physical ID recognition service. Like when

you go to a, if you go to a, any of a variety of places like a car rental desk and you, they scan your ID at certain hotels, they scan your ID, some liquor stores, stores scan your ID, marijuana stores scan your ID. The company that's behind all that has lost all of their data. 160 million people have lost their data, which includes a photo of their face where you live, everything off your driver's license, your driver's license number. I mean, all of it gone. That just got announced in the last 24 hours. Brutal. And you just, like, why are we, why do we, why do we consent to this? Why do we even have to, if you want to buy booze or you want to rent a lawnmower or you want to rent car, why do they have to store that permanently? Why can't somebody just look at your ID, identify that you're you and give your ID back? America worked that way for 80 years in a work

just find that way for 80 years. Why don't you store it in a database somewhere? Well, they, they do it because they can and they have economic benefits to do it. And there is governmental control benefits for those that want to control people's lives. And I hate it. It is what my dad used to call the tyranny of the masses. If the masses are willing to go along with something, you can't fight it because it's a matter of volume. It's a matter of scale. I've reeled about vertical video forever. Do you know what now comes out? Okay. Now the Cubs have commissioned a 17 part TikTok series on a romcom about falling in love at Rigglyfield. On TikTok vertical video. That's a 17 part. That's not cool. It's the worst. But there's got to be dipshit millennials and zoom doing this with their thumb, right? And they're going to

watch it. So what are you going to watch it? And again, it I didn't consent to this. This is not the right way to watch long form content. And yet because our phones are what they are, it is what is. Where do you stand on flock cameras, which is now. I hate it. Totally opposed to this. I don't care that it's going to make law enforcement 0.1% easier for them to track some suspect somewhere or whatever. This is a massive intrusion of privacy that they know everywhere you're driving. That's totally totally out of bounds. No governmental agency should be doing that. No agencies should be no company. Nobody should be tracking your movements like that. It should be against the law. It's ridiculous. I love the people that are taking matters into their own hands. And that is showing them. Yes. So destroying those. So these are street, pull these are street, street, pull mounted cameras that are able to read license plates on vehicles and then feed all that information into databases and algorithms and AI machine learning to do a lot of stuff,

including in theory, if they've got a description of a vehicle that has abducted somebody in a amber alert, they can track where that person was. Who owns the cameras who installs them? Is it the locality, the city, the county? Is it neighborhoods? Can I buy a bunch of flock cameras and set them up somewhere? How does that work? On your land, I'm sure you could if you wanted to, but mostly it is city police and cities that are doing it and then trying to give this data to the police. Now your amber alert is like the the best case scenario, right? That is the best possible rationale that you could you could come up with. But how many amber alerts are there? And what do we sacrificing in the name of that one amber alert in, you know, 10 years that gets solved by this? Now, just, you know, it's that you're sacrificing the everyday privacy of every single citizen. Ridiculous. Have you ever gotten one of those cell phone missing persons alerts that you push to?

It's a real loud like it'll wake you out of a dead sleep. I got into a big argument with my wife because we had one of those at like 2 a.m. No, geez. Shocked the shit out of me. I'm still doing a morning show. So every every minute of sleep is precious. Yeah. It's alert gets pushed out in our area. We live way out in the country. And it was like some old man had gone missing 82 year old man with Alzheimer's had walked off, you know, his property apparently somewhere in the far exerbs of where I live. And I looked at the phone. I was so pissed. Now, like this is the biggest fucking bullshit ever that I have to have a phone, which is my personal device I paid for pay for the service. And they're pushing this intrusion to me. And my wife being the sympathetic, wonderful person that she is is like, yeah, but you know, I mean, they really want to find them because it's cold out. And you know, it's dead. I go, am I going to get out of bed with a fucking flashlight

right now? I know. Look for this old dude walking around his pajamas. No. So fuck off. And let me go back to sleep. Right. I mean, what you know, you're alerting, but you are alerting the entire population 99% of whom are in bed asleep. How are they supposed to do anything or help with this scenario? What am I going to do? Plus whatever happened to Wow, Grandpa went wandering off in the winners pajamas. That's really sad. That sounds like a fucking you problem. You the kids who are supposed to be minding where does Grandpa live? Does he live at home alone? And he's 82 with the Alzheimer's? Well, that's a fucking problem. You need to get him somewhere in a home where they can guard against this stuff. Fucking wake me up. Okay, rant over. Let's get to football. There was a fascinating little Easter egg that plopped out today this morning on social media about the Patriots. Yes. Patriots we know were cheaters during the Bella check era. They were also really, really good. Brady was also the greatest of all time. And he took under market money to be able

to get, you know, other players around them, even though they didn't spend a wide receivers. Yeah. And you were with the same. He was also married to a supermodel who made 10 times as much money as he did, which made it a lot easier to turn away the money. Yes. Right. So basically it's both can be true, but they were fucking cheaters. I mean, I gave it was cheating. The flake gate was a little bit of bending the rules, although I have opinions on the flake gate. It was definitely they overcharged Brady and company on this because they couldn't catch him on the other stuff. This is something that is not cheating, but it's pretty fucking devious. Somebody figured out that the Patriots had a feel goal make percentage during the Bella check era that was almost four and a half percent better than everyone else and the next best team. So there were number one in feel goal make percentage. They made 4.5 percent more of their field goals than opponents over the course of the entire season, homing away for the whole run of the Bella check era. Yeah. And it was significant because even though it's only 4.5 percent,

the difference between number two through 32 was all bunched very tightly as one would expect from such a large data set. So they started digging like what could account for this. And they found an easter egg, which was home games at Gillette. There's a jumbo tron behind the uprights. And what the Patriots game ops people did is they put a feed a live feed of the kick on the jumbo tron, but it was from behind the goal posts, not down the line where the kicker is looking. Therefore, the goal posts were a little bit offset in the jumbo tron, which visually was a touch disturbing. And orange streamers indicating wind direction were going the other way because it was other direction. Now should this matter to a kicker who's just take my three steps set my lineup, snap, hold, kick, swing the leg boom, we're done here. No, it should not matter. But it probably did. It did. If the data suggests it did because the sample size is so big, the entire Bella check

era is like 20 years. And the sample and they are such an outlier to have such a to have a 9 percent advantage over visiting kickers and their home kicker didn't get that visual. The home kicker didn't get this. Correct. Weird. A skew off center visual. Only the away kickers got the weird a skew a reversed kicker, a reverse field goal. It's the uprights looked weird. I can I can see. I mean, the math proves it. The math is there's just too many data points. The math is still good for it to not have worked and it was fucking brilliant. It was within the rules and it was fucking brilliant. This was one of the great coaching moves and you know, Bella check was behind this. You know he was. He loves his special teams. You know this got this got Bella check right now over it. This goes down as one of the all time great moves by by Bella check. Who knows where it could have spawned from because basically the the the game up sky might have

been talking to one of the Patriots kickers, Venetary Gaskowski and others. Yeah. And and and the kicker, Venetary might have said, Hey man, I noticed on on the way kicks, you're showing them the opposite field view. That really looks weird to me as I was standing there. I know I as a kicker wouldn't like that visual. And if that stuck with the game ups guy be like, okay, well, I'm going to keep doing this then. Yeah. Yeah. Absolutely. Absolutely. I you know, did it happen organically maybe but they were smart enough to keep doing it. And I'd love to know I want to hear from those kickers and find out if they were in on it or not because if you tell the kickers and then they get traded like Venetary goes off to the colds or whatever, right? If they get traded, they'll take they could take that trade seeker with them. It could be that Bella check and game and in stadium game ops people never told the kicker what they were doing. Yeah. It's possible. The Patriots were 9.4

percent better at making their field goals than their opponents. No other team in the league was better than 4% in that span. So kudos to I don't know who found this Ryan Pagan Nettie was the guy who tweeted it, I guess. But somebody took a large data set looked at it or even had the curiosity go, hmm, screeches chin. I wonder what their field goal difference was. Let's sort this huge data set by this parameter and they found something and then they're like, hmm, why would that be and they went hunting and they found something. I don't know. I don't know which direction it came from. Did somebody find the data first or did somebody get tipped off that this was happening and then they went, well, let's go find the data and see if it made a difference and then they looked at the data and went, holy shit, not only did this make it different. You know, this was there was epic, huge differential. I don't know which came first in this one. It's also possible since Venetary just went

into the Hall of Fame and Gaskowski was really good as well. It's possible. They just had better kickers. Kickers. Yeah. They were really good kickers. So you're right. That's a fascinating thing. Tiger Woods pleads guilty to reckless driving license cut in half for five years. Closing thoughts on this charge would it bother you if you had the money for somebody to drive you anywhere, would it bother you not to be able to drive for five years? I don't want my Tesla to drive me today. I don't want to do my own driving. So no, I'm out. I'm out. I don't have to. I know, but you have to coordinate with another human whenever you want to go anywhere. That would be rather humiliating to me. That would be pain in the ass. Don't you think don't you think Tiger Woods has a little bit like Larry David has got what's his name in his backyard? You know, don't you think Tiger Woods has got security and people and helpers living on it? Sometimes you want compound. Sometimes you want independence.

You want solitude. You want your own agency in life and to be able to drive where you want with nobody around, even a loyal sworn bodyguard who's like, I didn't see nothing boss and drive you from one Perkins to another to go bang some mid six waitress. That's like great. But you have another person. Sometimes you want to do it by yourself. Right. If, look, if J. York had a driver, he wouldn't be in this situation. When the driver, right? The driver, the driver, take the bullet on this. I was doing a driver texts the prostitute. The driver has the phone. And only once you're sure she ain't a cop or working on a sting, then you sub in. You tag, right? You tag J. York and you go tag, you're in the ring. That's right. I for power. And you get out. That's right. That's that Zabe. This is that's exactly why this going to and this is the best thing for Tiger Woods that that could happen for him. It's saving for himself. Yeah. Yeah. He should have died at least once or

twice. Not a good driver. So all right. Charge. As always, a pleasure. Remember, people fantasy football world is the new place for all things. Charge.
