Yo, what's going on, Busted Open Nation. And thanks for tuning in to another edition of the Busted Open podcast today. The Bollywood bullies return on a false count anywhere Friday, and we are previewing Sunday night's main event, our predictions. Who's going to win it all? Who's the future of the WWE? Is it Oba or is it Breaker? Plus, we get to speak to the total package, Lex Luger. Who's his favorite tag team? And what does he have coming up right here on the Busted Open podcast? This is the Busted Open podcast. Speaking of Sunday night's main event, I think we got into Oba and Braun just enough with Lex. Me and Lex think there's not going to be a finish. I, to going to deeper detail, I think we're going to get a returning, Bronson Reed. You think that somebody can eat a loss, yes?

I've flirted with the idea of Braun's and Reed interfering in being a no contest, but from what I've seen from Saturday night's main event, slash Sunday night's main event, WWE doesn't hold back. Cena's last match Sunday night main event, Goldberg's last match Sunday night Saturday night main event. I think we're going to see a clear definitive winner and I see Braun taking the loss and then going further into the state of obsession, obsession. Now, Braun taking the L does not derail him in the long term at all. He's already been pinned on a few separate occasions. If you're pinned by a top guy, it does not derail you, but it gives you now a story, something to overcome. Baby faces need to feel vulnerable. Braun Breaker's not a baby face. He's going to be in the long term. I'm viewing the super, super long term. To be the face of the company, you have to essentially be a baby face.

Would you agree with that? I agree with that. I just, my, my, my, before Hamin's promo on Monday night, I think I would have agreed with you more, but he put so much emphasis on how this would affect the loser. Like that's what I really got from the promo. It was, it was a non-answer. He sold the match, but the emphasis, the meat of the promo was whoever loses is really going to be in bad shape moving forward. Do you see an outcome where Reed crossed over the match? Now, Reed and Oba feud. If Bronson Reed was going to help anybody, it would be Braun Breaker because they are buddies in the vision. A vision. Now, what if Bronson Reed was to interfere, but it backfired and it cost Braun Breaker the match?

I mean, we could make something out of all of this. Like I might be. I'm going to hypothesize no Reed straight up match, Oba beats him. Wow. Brons, if you're, if you're right, I mean, that I promise you, I promise you, if you are right, I will come on the show Monday morning because me and Nick are doing the Motley 2 next Monday morning, let's leave next Labor Day Monday morning. I will come over and the very first thing I will do is put you over for making that call. Yes, and tell them how I fit it to the four quadrants. So you're saying there's no interference. There's no nothing. The bell is going to ring. Oba Femi is going to beat Braun Breaker. The bell is going to ring again. That's it done. Yes. Yes. Wow. Who are you talking to in the office? Who have you been talking to? You got some insight in. His initials are H H H.

That's all I'm saying. There you go, brother. All right, so there you have it. Genders making the call. He thinks it's going to be straight up with Oba Femi defeating Braun Breaker. All right, you're standing on that. I love it. Obviously the other big match, there are other big matches, but the other one is Cody versus Randy. I believe you've enjoyed the build up to this one so far. And what do you anticipate from this match? Yeah, I love the idea of the no contact order. Both sending verbal jabs, getting personal. If there's going to be a no contest, I see it in this match just for the sake of prolonging the storyline. Punk is busy. Yes, Sammy Zayn to worry about Kevin Owens, Gunther, Finn Balor. The title is occupied at the moment as well as the scene around the WWE Championship.

I need to occupy Cody for the next couple months. See, that's the real challenge. When you have a QB1 and he's not the champion, how do you occupy time? How can you justify him not putting all of his attention and effort towards becoming WWE Champion or World Champion? I think it's a real big challenge and Randy is the perfect star to do this with because he understands angles. Not just belt to belt, Randy is such a well-rounded performer, backstage segments, gimmick matches. I could see this being a series of two or three matches down the line, money in the bank, Saudi Arabia. I believe is the PLE after that. Perhaps we have some sort of gimmick match. Do you know if that PLE is branded as anything? Didn't they just add another, you two are my Saudi? Yes. Didn't they just add another one to the mix?

Isn't it Crown Jewel? Crown Jewel, yes, yeah, yeah. I could see this being a feud where it plays out into multiple PLEs. Here's where I stand on this. I'm a Cody fan. I'm a Randy fan. It's such a Randy fan that I want to see Randy break seen his record. I want Randy to be the guy that we talk about in the next 50 to 100 years as being the greatest WWE Champion of all time. That's just my personal thoughts. I note I am perfectly down with that because I beat Randy Orton. Because you beat Randy Orton. So what does that make me? Okay, there you go. There you go. I mean, you're the greatest of all time. I get it. As much admiration respect, blah, blah, blah, as I have for these two. I still have just enough of a bad taste in my mouth from Mania. And I need something to really get me invested in this more than I am.

I'm there, but I'm not where I want to be. And I don't know what it's going to take to get me there, but I'll know when I know. Can a non-finish something happen at Sunday night's main event that I agree with you. I'm not there either. For me, the match on this card is Oba versus Braun. Agreed. But this is a great opportunity. It's a great stage to set something up that will now keep us engaged for the next couple months. So Cody doesn't have to focus on the world title, WWE Championship. Like Randy went out of his way the other day to talk about Cody's mother and to talk about Brandy. And he's your dog dead yet. And all this heel, heel stuff. I still don't hate him. I need something. And I'm not saying they need something. I'm saying I need something to get me as on board as I'd like to be. I'm not saying anything that they're doing is wrong. I'm just saying for me personally, what I would I love about certain aspects of storytelling.

I know that Randy went there verbally. And I still don't hate him. I want to see him go there physically. I want I want something that's really going to shake and rattle people to their core. I want people to look at Randy Orton a different way. I want people to look at Randy Orton go dude, that was too far. You should have never done that. Just like that. No, that wow. Yeah, I would love to see that like, oh, nine Randy people still talk about it to this day. What if Randy punted Cody's mother in the head? It's not. That's what I thought you were going to say. Oh, okay, well, that's it. I don't think we can do that. What do you mean we what what what what what do you mean we what do you mean? What is that we? Come on, brother. Okay, we.

But do you think we do agree with me that we don't get a finish on this one? I do. I do think if there was a double count out or something happened to Randy got to qualify to or something heinous happened. Where somehow I don't know, Cody, Cody roll them up and Randy slide out and grab Brandy or do something to them. There has to be taken to the next level. They've tried to do it with violence early on. It didn't it didn't really work. This was right before the Pat McAfee stuff. They try to do with that violence and it was like, okay, then they try to do it verbally. I don't know what's missing. For me, something is missing. I might be in the minority though. So the beauty of this no contact order is we can build up the tension without having to bring in physicality. We have SmackDown tonight. Perhaps Cody says something so heinous builds up the tension so much.

Finally, when it's ding ding ding, it's not a traditional wrestling match. It starts out. It has to start off hot. Randy does something so heinous, causes the DQ and then he just goes on a tear. Goes on an absolute tear. Now that being said, I'm going to tie this into the Oba Femi match. We get the no the non finish here. Oba, Braun, someone has to win clean. I understand why you would think that. I just I want to jump to one other thing before we finish off today. I know you want to talk about it real quick, but do you think Little Yachty is going to last five minutes with Baron Corbin? I do. Now, I view this as a challenge for Corbin more than a challenge for Little Yachty. I've referenced this match multiple times now. Maybe two months ago, Dominic Mysterio wrestled Oba Femi in the King of the Ring tournament. Going into this match, I was concerned. How is this match going to play out?

Oba has so much steam like he has to squash him. But at the same time, Dom needs. Dom just can't be squash that way. He can't be jobbed out that way. They told such an amazing story with distractions and you got to go back and watch the match. It was a beautiful match. It's a challenge to Corbin. How do I get five minutes out of Yachty and tell this story? The story of desperation, the clock running out because if Corbin doesn't beat him, sorry, not even beat him. If he lasts five minutes, Trick gets another shot at his title. So we have Trick Williams in play using the referee and again, the right stunts at the right time. This is a chance for Corbin to show his professionalism, his knowledge and his ability. Corbin is going to pull it off. It's going to be a storytelling type of match. Corbin is going to get this segment over without a doubt.

And after this segment is over, I'm going to probably come on Monday and go, that's why you should have never let this guy go in the first place because he's really, really good at what he does. That's how highly I feel about Baron Corbin. I agree with you. He's super, super versatile. You can put him in any situation. He makes the best out of it. He makes great TV. So Corbin, the challenge is on you. Don't let Uncle bully down. I don't know if you can get this done in one minute, but how do you feel about all of these outside star celebrity blah, blah, blah? I'm being so involved in the product right now. I see the value of it, but at the same time when you have them so immersed in the product, they lose their wow factor. So I think there is a right place and a right time, but Yadi being on television, it doesn't feel as big of a deal anymore. Every week that we see him on television, it's a point.

The finishing returns. And one celebrity in the history of WWE that you think we choose better than just about anybody else. Bad bunny. I'm going with Mike Tyson. He was not overexposed at all. He came in. Bad bunny worked for sure. I'm going with Mike Tyson and that whole thing with Tyson in Austin and Sean Michaels. I think Tyson Austin is what really catapulted the WWE and what really, you know, lit a fire under that attitude area. But bad bunny did a phenomenal job because he actually wrestled too. Coming up next, we speak with WWE Hall of Famer, Lex Luger. The fastest growing pro wrestling show on the planet. FASTY OLE. FASTY OLE. Busted open every day, 9th Stoony Stern. You heard the audio right there. That was the first ever Monday Nitro from the Mall of America in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

And the gentleman who had everybody up in arms from his surprise appearance on Nitro, the total package. Lex Luger, friend of the show is with us this morning. Good morning, Lex. How are you? Hey, hey, hey, fellas. Great show. I've been listening to my errands around Atlanta here. I got you guys on. I mean, this is a pretty much the whole show. Great show, guys. Thanks for having me on. Thank you, Lex. We appreciate you. We know you always listen. Always great to hear from you. Always great to see you. First and foremost, Lex. Health update. How you feeling? What's going on? Hope everything is well, brother. I am feeling great. Thank you for asking me. In every way imaginable. I got my Tuesday workout on the calendar from Dallas. He's back from his huge European trip, which was phenomenal. He was over there for three weeks with his beautiful wife, Paige. And they kind of integrated a vacation with some Q&A's and some wrestling stuff.

And some of his yoga clinics and they had a great trip. But I got my Tuesday workout. He's relentless. He would never let me slip. So I'm on the Brooks. He's going to beat me up on Tuesday at his house here in Atlanta. That's great to hear, Lex. I'm also a big fan of Dallas. I think he's a fantastic role model for all wrestlers. He's also a fellow biohacker. I am also very much into the biohacking space. Have you got into any modalities or have you tried stamp cells? Are any alternative type of therapies? And if so, have you had any success with them? Yeah, I've looked into those dials as a prop to be true. I have not done any of the stem cell. I know that peptide stuff is big. I'm always open and looking at stuff like that. I haven't done that as of yet, but not against it for any particular reason for sure. Yeah, I know there's a lot of great progress being made in a lot of different ways on all that stuff. So I always open to it for sure. Speaking of progress, Lex on, on, you know, how is your progress?

Any new progress that you've made since the last time we spoke with you? Oh, yeah, definitely. Yeah, we're going to have a big reveal at some point as beach house down in. There in pencil, Panama city. And we're looking forward to that and share that with everybody. But yeah, we made good progress. We got, I think we got a nice surprise for everybody down the line here. Looking forward to it, you just said earlier about, about Dallas, about Dallas beating you up with something like that. A couple of weeks ago on Twitter, I put out a tweet and it said that I believe the greatest, the greatest tag team of all time were the road warriors. And I gave my reasons why. And you chimed in and you said you thought it was the Steiner Brothers. And you said you kind of had to say that because if he didn't, that they would beat you up. Thank you. You're not saying the whole show, the Steiner Brothers Lex's choice. You gave it away and then you didn't get the full info, full disclosure.

I said, I can't give you the rest. I still trap with those guys. I don't want to get stretched. Actually, Lex, I said it at the beginning of the show. You might not have listened to that part of the show, sir. Oh, my dad, my dad. I should have known. But in all seriousness, Lex, you got to, you shared the locker room with and you worked with some of the greatest tag teams of all time, such as the road warriors, such as the Steiner Brothers. Countless doom. You name it. You've been in there with them. Plus you've tagged with guys like staying in that, you know, very, you know, a lot of success. So in your opinion, who is the greatest tag team of all time and why? Okay. Would you get into all the back, the back story out of all this after, but, um, of course, as a caveat, we all know I'm old school. I'm in my 60s and I think boy, you're maybe in your 50s and junior, you're the young guy here.

Uh, yeah, unfortunately, man. That's awesome. I'll give you a one, two, three, four. That was called up my rush more. I'm going to, um, no particular order other than the number one, but you want that answer. My number one is road warriors. My number two, uh, or my mount rush more. The first out the, the Doug Lee's the hearties and the Steiner's. Wow. Thank you very much. Lex, I appreciate that. We could throw as well. I don't have any. I mentioned honorable mentions. I just don't put into new guys in there like the Usos or, um, edgy Christian or. I don't know if there's so many we could name of guys are so actively wrestling until their full careers. Close out. Other than the high is a so active time will tell I think they might, they might climb into that. Top four, even the number one spot eventually, potentially, but that's my, that's.

World Warriors because if you want to reason on that, um, they kind of want to reason that I got under resting my foot, I was close to the eyes of them. I was a football player like they made me think about being a wrestler just to watch them. And, um, when I was experiencing all the way through my career, I'm especially the earlier part. I've been talking about the real warrior pop. There was, there was something really special about their look. Um, and the, what they, the crowd response was absolute, reelectric when they came out. Um, there's a lot of different criteria we could judge tag teams by, but, you know, spiners had that legitimate amateur wrestling background. Um, you guys integrated beautifully, the hard core from the ECW background into mainstream with WFB, which is. I don't know how you guys did that, but you guys did it unbelievably. And the hardest like you guys already covered there, they're, they're, they're decade after decade.

I think they, they got jumped ahead of almost all the other wrestlers on social media and created an app like social media characters almost. And they are so popular when I go to appearances with them, we quite often. And man, they're lines out the, out of the building. It's crazy. They have an unbelievable following. So that's kind of what I based my top four currently. That could change in time. No, Lex, I appreciate you giving us your Mount Rushmore. And I was, I was saying a gender earlier in the show, you know, as a wrestler when the red light is on, I'm going to tell you the greatest, the Dudley boys are the greatest tag team of all time. But when the cameras are off, I'm very humble about it. I'm just appreciative that I even get mentioned in the conversation or we get mentioned in the conversation. Thank you for, you know, including us in your Mount Rushmore, the road warriors as your number one from a firsthand account, Lex, what was it like working with Hawke an animal?

It was a night off. Only because I mean, they were so over. You guys know, when you work with somebody that's really over, it's hard to have a bad match. So you said you got a little bit heat on them and then they'd go in the comeback and they'd go to the roof off the place. It was, it was a night off. And it was just a privilege looking back to work with those guys. They, they, we missed those guys. And then they were something else unbelievable to work with. Lex, I love how you mentioned some of the newer tag teams. You know, it's clear to me that you still have your finger on the pulse in today's wrestling landscape. Do you believe a tag team like the road warriors could get over to that same level in today's wrestling landscape? Absolutely. Look at O-Bar right now, guys like that. People love people love those. There's such a, I love how wrestling that versatile and can ever look from radio series to, you know, the giants, you know, just, you know, big show and all those guys, but in my design, but I thought about resting all shapes and sizes now, especially.

And yeah, I mean, those guys are those guys, I think you get over any area. They just have a monster look and that when they come up. Or, you know, from the back, it's big. So yeah, I have no doubt they could definitely get over in the days wrestling for sure. What about when it came down to two of the tag teams on your Mount Rushmore were the road warriors and the Steiners? What was it like? Did you ever witness them doing business together in the back? Or I'm sure you're in the ring when they had to do business together. Those are four big powerful men to legendary teams. How were they able to get on the same page and have did they have good chemistry in your opinion? They did. I think because the road warriors would maybe sell a little bit more for them than they did other guys versus maybe Sting and I because of their background.

So, you know, they let the Steiners throw around a little bit, suplex them and and and teach them stuff for them. So it's made it a really interesting match. So yeah, I mean, they they like to work with each other and they both respect each other. They always definitely put on a good match for sure. Lex, you were big just like Hawke an animal, Rick and Scott, big muscular, just like Hawke an animal. But when it come, you mentioned getting heat on the road warriors. Was that something that that was a lot easier said than done? Didn't fans just wait for the road warriors and expect the road warriors to just pop up and just start kicking ass? Were you able to get traditional definitive heat on the road warriors? You could, but you didn't want to go too long. For sure, it's one you get just enough heat on them that you can blow the comeback. I mean, that's all you need. That's why I said it was so easy to work with those guys. I mean, just said, yeah, one of them down for just a couple minutes. The crowd was ready.

You know, you know, you guys, you know, in the ring, you can tell when a crowd wants to see the comeback. And sometimes he's calling audible out there, like, especially at how shows were not on being timed on television or a paper view. But yeah, I mean, they were so easy in that aspect for sure. Yeah, that I was never a good judge of tag team. I was ever a big fan of being in a tag team. Just because my tag that I had to, gosh, I think I was two time tag team champ. I did, I had an early one with Barry and I, Barry Windom, who was a premium worker. And obviously, and then staying high with World Tag Team Champions for a while, I usually tag was staying. But I struggled a little bit because I always was mostly a singles wrestler. I think something guys you mentioned though that I was working with was Aaron Tully. No one's bought them up there, but they were pretty good. Tell you what, for sure.

Did you, did, did you not love being in tag teams because you were so used to the spotlight just being on you? Or was it the psychology of tag team wrestling that maybe didn't, you know, click with you so well? The psychology, I was experienced at it. I was using the most experienced guy in the ring with it. Of course, I had a lot of guys with great experience to get me through it. And I was usually was staying and some, I just felt like if you're in with the wrong kind of tag teams and you get, you know this better than anybody. Like, let's say, with Sting and I were in tag, if the heels didn't know how to work the heat with two top baby faces in the ring, I'll put myself at the top baby face with Sting at the time. I went back and forth, but yeah, when I was a Sting, I was usually always a baby face. And I felt like the guys didn't know how to handle the ref and get heat on the guy.

They could really compromise the baby face on the other side in the apron. Of course, you got to be able to work with them to get, you know, involved in the match for and distracted. But there's a lot of complexities to it. Some teams are really good at that and not would not leave the other baby face looking lame. And I got a little uncomfortable that sometimes if I wasn't working with the right tag team, just a personal thought on that. Lex, let's shift gears a little bit. Thank you for all of your insight into the tag team scene and your Mount Rushmore. Today is the anniversary of the first ever Monday night, Nitro from the Mall of America in Minneapolis. We heard the audio of you making your debut. Nobody knew who the hell you were. Bish offs like what the hell is he doing here? But yeah, it was you. You are memories from that evening. And is there a story from that evening, whether it's leading up to or after that you might never have told before?

Oh, wow. I don't know about that. I've been asked about that transition many, many times. A few top things, of course, that always come to mind was how it was kept a secret, which would be I think almost impossible in today's world. Number one, how was it kept a secret? Yeah, I mean, I wrestle how show that weekend up in Monkton, New Brunswick or somewhere or something. I think it was a secret or I walked out even with the guys in the back. I came to the gorilla position where you walk out. Everybody was like, well, you do here. The boys. I mean, that's a rare thing. So the way they executed that and pulled that off was amazing. I mean, I didn't have big expectations. I thought. And, and Bull, you might be able to comment on that gender, you're a younger guy, but at the time, but I thought they were crazy going on a Monday night up against W.

When they want me to come in and be a part of that first show, I was like, I kind of at the time couldn't work out a contract with W. I worked on Handshake for six months to make a long story short. I'm looking at the opportunity to get back with Stinger and some of my friends back in W. But man, I never I never dreamed about what happened with the Monday night, and I'm nitro versus W. W. It was crazy to be a part of that. The part that no one knew, knew I was a stinger and myself and Eric Bishop. I think Hogan knew that that was a tight circle. And I don't know if they're new or not. I've never asked them that when I came out. I knew Stinger knew of course. But just the way it kept it's such a tight lid on it made it a really special surprise. And it was a great opportunity. Turn out to be a great opportunity. From I never thought they would turn us such a huge time and wrestling. Maybe maybe never to be repeated.

Lex, did you notice any changes perhaps in contracts or just on the business side of things after your appearance on the first ever Monday night. Nitro, did it change the way contracts were structured or paperwork in general just so this wouldn't happen again. Did you notice any change? Hopefully it'll happen. Hopefully it'll continue to happen again for the for the boys sake. I mean, obviously we were under kind of a W. W. and W. You guys had contracts. I think when the morning started getting really big was when really hall and ash came over. From directly from W. W. and contracts are going up up up up up. You guys talked about that final takeover. So when they announced that W. W. was no more. And my main concern at the time was. I still get guaranteed contract number one that invasion. I know you guys talked about was was kind of lame. I don't want to get off topic here of the first night at Nitro.

But the end of it. If you guys spoke about was kind of lame. Not to the guys that you know book or choose any guys were lame. But I think you guys can maybe talk about this for a moment. If I think of the full W. W. even though it's kind of a downhill raise wise of time. Roaster, Hogan, much DDP, Sting, Luger, Steiner brothers, Goldberg. If we all could have done a legitimate invasion with that and book or teen all those guys. Roaster and then make some of the younger guys into my come on. I think you could have had a real a real legit. I think you guys could have done a lot of war on your hands that could have been done really well that would never what happened because of contracts. I can serve the time was to ask you but I go well I go the winners win in the losers lose. I mean, you know, W. W. One. The Victor goes as boils. But I felt bad for a lot of the younger wrestlers. I made good money and had some really good garage. I still had a garage contract for like two years.

We're still under contract and the business end of things with W. She W. But we weren't W. She W guys we were with ALL time Warner because we had big contracts and they could not make us a part of the buyout. I don't know Vince and boy you might be to answer this. I don't know if Vince would have wanted to bring us a big contract guys because we've been making a lot more than most of the guys at W. W. And as we all know based on history. Vince never wanted to anybody else to be perceived better bigger than the stars that he created. So correct. Yeah, that would have been an issue for the boys in the locker room, especially the bigger names with the bigger contracts. I hear come all these W. C. W guys with more money and then he was never going to present you the same. I mean, listen earlier we were talking about how Vince presented dusty and how Vince presented the road warrior is like, why would you ever screw around.

I mean, but with you, Lex, wait with you. It's completely different because Vince kind of let me ask you this. Did you enjoy the narcissist and the spin that he put on the total package Lex Luger? I did. I would love using the narcissist character. I still got to keep my name Lex Luger and I would have loved have been taking that long ways. I have built into this day steal plate my elbow. I did Dr. Andrews, the world around the church. So yeah, I put that in there. I was knocking guys out with it. Oh, I thought we could do some great stuff with that. That would have been a blast. So when when I mean if we were talking earlier also about that invasion angle and how they had to add the ECW guys in there to the WCW guys, because the WCW crew wasn't that strong. But imagine if it was the names that you just mentioned. I mean as you're dropping those names. Oh my gosh, pretty credible.

But you wouldn't even need the ECW guys if you had all of those WCW names to go up against the top dogs and WWE. That would have been a true invasion. And oh my God, the amount of money that could have been made with those top WCW guys versus those top WWE guys. You guys would have wind up killing the job though. Oh my gosh. Lex I heard some stories around that time that wrestlers during the invasion angle or when the buyout happened. They were under the impression that perhaps Vince was going to restart WCW. Did you get that feeling or did you kind of see that this was the end? I think it was the end of WCW as it was as a, but I think the talk was they could kind of make present WCW as a separate entity under the umbrella of WWE. Does that make sense to make it? Yeah, that's what I was talking about. It would be its own independent show.

And Ron maybe run one on Smackdown for instance for today's world. We'd be on Smackdown. They'd be on raw and you may have a maybe a few big pay to use against each other until it just turned into an all skirmish major war at some point. I'm not a booking guy. I'd never had a mine for that, but that would have been probably something really because I've done some huge business with for sure. What was your feeling when the buyout happened? Were you concerned? Were you happy? What were your emotions of being under the guaranteed contract with a AOL at that time? Or didn't really, it didn't really affect you. Well, it didn't affect me. I was like, well, good for me. I considered home and collected my check for a couple years. But selfishly at the time, that's kind of who I was back then. But I did even back then have a kind of a sad feeling for the young guys in the business at the time because I felt like competition number one brings out the best between two legitimate companies like the nitro versus raw.

And you always want to have a strong second company. So the guys, the boys have alternatives. And that just makes contracts get bigger and bigger, which is kind of happening now again. So yeah, I think it's important to have healthy healthy strong competition out there for the boys. And I felt, wow, you know, Vince one, you know, WWE won, but that's not going to be good for the boys in the contracts at all. So I kind of felt bad for the younger guys coming up that I didn't see the, you know, wasn't going to be good for them financially was my first thought. All right, Lex, time to put you on the spot. This Sunday night Sunday nights main event, Atlanta, Georgia, one of the big main events, Oba Femi versus Braun Breaker. Who is the future of the WWE according to the total package Lex Luger who wins this match?

I think I have no inside information. I don't think there's going to be a winner because I think they will run hard with both those guys in a different way. And I think they're going to save that for maybe a year or two down the line, maybe I think they're going to build both those guys up and make those guys huge major stars. I know they're talking about we need fresh young top guys. I know there's room links underneath I hear in and WV about that they can keep on recycling the same top group of guys. Well, that's how it is in the business, right? You know that, you know that gender, you got to get your way in there. And that that I think that's good got earn away in there. They're hard on seats. But I definitely feel that both Ron and over are going to be big stars in the future. And I don't think I think they're going to find somewhere to get out of that match without declaring I'd be surprised if there's a clean winner in that match. Really, myself, even just business wise.

Lex, I tend to agree with you and here's why this past Monday night on raw. Kathy Kelly had an interview with Paul Heyman and Paul made it a point of really driving at home that whoever lost this match was going to kind of be thrown to the wayside. Be kind of be put on the back burner and I don't think Obefemi nor Braun Breaker. The WWE doesn't want to throw either one of those guys to the wayside or put on the back burner. So much like you think I think there's going to be a non finish or I believe somebody will get involved gender your thoughts. So you mentioned wayside the loser is going to be thrown to the wayside. In my opinion, that's not necessarily a bad thing. In order to become the top baby face in WWE, you have to overcome something. You have to overcome tragedy and setbacks.

So I think a loss wouldn't hurt Breaker as bad as it would Obe. I really believe Obe is on a different trajectory, especially after the equity that he gained from defeating Brock Lesnar. Brock doesn't just do that for anybody. Lex, do you think that Braun Breaker could eat a loss here and survive? Yes, he's that talented. No doubt. Fair enough. Would you agree with Jinder that I definitely don't think there'll be no other. Not after the fresh, huge nod from obviously from his matches with the Braun Rock. Yeah, Brock, sorry. Okay, forget that. Yeah, no problem. But well, remember, you can hear Sunday night's main event right here at 8 p.m. Sunday night on WWE Radio. Lex, it is always great to chat with you. I'm glad you're doing well. Excited for the big announcement.
