A stoplight And you make all of this stuff I do Yeah, if there had to be in the band a lead art director for all this stuff is that one person or is that all of you?

19:20Me until recently we started doing these synchronized lights and we're kind of DIY maxing We're maxed out now because we're doing lights, videos, all of it I don't give how you travel around with these speakers They fold flat No way Yeah, we've gotten really good with cardboard Well another thing this band has taught me is how much energy I do not have So thank you for I need to I need to start hitting the gym I'll tell you that Fantastic we've been loving Sniper for so so long I've been watching your videos on YouTube And just so creative and what a fun project this is I have to ask about the shirts is there a theme going on? So it's not fully stolen valor two of them really do ride motocross Okay We play fast yeah, so that's kind of a theme I thought so I did I has kind of like a race car thing but it's motorcycles Yeah, and the name of the last record was worldwide and all of these that we got off eBay Oh cool our world wide Jersey love it love it and I know that artists always get asked about

20:20Who some of their favorite artists are or their biggest inspirations but Blair I wore a specific shirt just for you today And I want to know how you feel about this Yes, I knew where you said I love ween One of my favorite bands of all time and people that don't know ween or don't understand the world of ween They just they just don't get it they just don't understand every like it never stops we continue to try and convince them to turn into ween fans Yeah, well non ween fans for some reason align them with like the whole like fish And that's just because fish covered like one of their albums or something But ween doesn't sound anything like those jam bands at all I agree what what's your favorite record? Oh boy, this one's really tough because I know yours is pure guava And my my introductory album was chocolate and cheese okay respect but but honestly sometimes it's the mallet Yeah, okay, but I like those early records though where you can actually smell the Scotch guard that they were probably were huffing

21:21God ween Satan Yeah, yeah total top tier so I loved reading about that and Also all touring bands have some pretty wild and crazy stories But can you tell the listeners about what happened to your van in Oakland at the in-and-out burger what was going on there? Okay, so that was a crazy one shout out our former drummer He wasn't eating meat at the time where it in and out so he's like I'm gonna go somewhere else Half of us hadn't been there before we were really excited Our sweet drummer goes to find food somewhere else and he gets rolled up on guys and ski masks It's a it's like a grand theft auto situation. They make fun of him for looking like Harry Potter So he runs back and he's like you guys this just happened we're dying laughing when he's like we got to get out of here It's like two p.m. So we're like you're overreacting within One second of him being at our van these guys pull up blacked out cars They are trying to get all of our stuff, but it's loaded in the back with props and cardboard right so they're not gonna get much

22:23We're kind of like having fun now seeing what's gonna happen. They get so frustrated with us because our drummer had parked in this He was he handled it like a pro sure so he's kind of in this nice spot. He's he's in control and they just get out and they start Smashing all the other windows But they didn't get any of our stuff. Wow. We were laughing though because had they gotten into it Yeah, they would have smashed out the back windows and gotten like the bug. Yeah, the bug head. Yeah, yeah, they'd get a paper mache Something yeah, yeah, we've actually in LA one time we were kind of feeling a little sketched out in an area And we set up we had this like car salesman type of puppet looking guy and we set him up in the driver's side So it works sometimes They got frustrated with you so it's snoopers just a really annoying band to try to rob right? Yeah, try it. It's amazing Um and Blair are you still a teacher? I'm not okay. You were you were teaching but snoopers just getting too busy Snooper was getting too busy. It's really hard to ask off for days as a teacher. Yeah, so it's a big part of my identity

23:28And I've tutored in reading teaching reading is kind of my passion. So yeah, you can always go back to it Yeah, exactly and so of course I totally understand the third man records connection obviously Nashville. It's where you live Yeah, but not every artist in Nashville gets hooked up with Jack White. How did that? How did that happen? Did he see one of your shows? Crazy. Well, I actually Babysat for a couple of people at third man None of Jack's kids, but it's a really close knit community over there and it feels really like we know all the people that book shows over there We're friends with everyone. So Nashville is a small town in that way and yeah, it's been great because we can pick up records on our way from tour The lore is actually that when we first started touring we were losing a lot of money on rental vans because we had all the props and everything Yeah, and we got to use Jack White's Sprinter van like his old one run down one and it was so messed up that the every time it rained we would get a

24:28We would get a torrential downpour into the van so we would have to wrap it with a tarp every night all the time but we You had a wrap of the van. Yeah, but that's one of the perks of being on third man. It feels like you know it's a community label so Totally. Yeah, that's awesome. That's awesome. Well, what can you tell all the super fans out there? What's on the horizon for snooper? Well, we've been we just released a new song called recess super fun. I think we're trying to focus less on how things will sound live. You know, we do a lot of analog recording Connor does all of their recording for snooper. He's a really good. He's a master at the eight track all analog stuff and so We recorded the last record in a studio, which was new for us, but yeah, we learned a lot. We've been getting good at using computers Where we got one back here when and all of our lights and everything so yeah, we're stepping into the what century is it? I forget I totally forget. Well, you've created just like we talked about how bands like we and create their own world
