Free solar-powered CCTV cameras are rolling out to fight rural crime in the UK, handed straight-to-game keepers at special road shows.
25 of these cameras went to members of the National Game Keepers Organization across two events, one hitting Potter's Marston near Leicester.
On March 21st, the push came from a 9,873-pound grant by the Leicestershire and Rutland Police and Crime Commissioner Office, covering the cameras plus roadshow costs.
That cast also hooked up five poacher blocks to block illegal field access, plus trackers and property-marking kids to beef up security.
Meanwhile, folds chatted with the rural policing team for tips, building networks and isolated spots, and spotlighting game keepers' struggles, keeping crime and check long-term.
