Here's your South Florida surf zone forecast for Sunday and Monday, March 22nd and 23rd.

Starting up north in Palm Beach, we're looking at a high,

rip current risk in effect through this evening.

Surf heights will be running two to three feet today,

with light and variable winds becoming northeast around five miles per hour this afternoon.

Water temperatures are settling in the mid-70s under sunny skies,

with highs around 80 degrees.

That UV index is very high, so definitely grab the sunscreen before heading out.

High tide at Lake Worth Pier occurs at 11.07am, with low tide at 5.16pm.

Moving down to Broward County around Fort Lauderdale,

conditions are a bit calmer today, with a moderate, rip current risk.

Surf heights are one foot or less, with that same sunny weather and water temps in the mid-70s.

Pies will reach the upper 70s with light winds becoming easterly.

The tides show high at 11.46am and low at 5.39pm at Miami Harbor entrance.

Down in Miami Dade, expect similar conditions to Broward,

with a moderate, rip current risk and minimal surf.

It'll be sunny and warm with highs in the upper 70s and that very high UV index.

Tides mirror the Broward forecast.

Over on the Gulf Coast, near Naples and Marco Island,

conditions are the calmest, with a low rip current risk.

Surf is basically flat at one foot or less.

Light winds will shift west around five miles per hour this afternoon under full sunshine

with highs in the upper 70s.

Looking ahead to Monday, the rip current situation improves across the board.

Combeach remains at high risk, while Broward and Miami Dade drop to low risk.

Surf heights will decrease to one to two feet in Palm Beach and remain minimal elsewhere.

Expect continued sunny skies with highs in the lower 80s and light northwest winds

becoming northeast or east in the afternoon.

Water temperatures stay pleasant in the mid 70s throughout the forecast period.

That very high UV index continues both days, so some protection is essential.

No thunderstorms or water spout threats are expected.

Remember, even with a low rip current risk, life threatening rip currents can still develop

near groins, jetties, reefs and piers, so always exercise caution and respect the ocean.
