Here's your South Florida surf zone forecast for Wednesday, March 25th, through Thursday evening.

A high-rip current risk remains in effect for Palm Beach beaches through Thursday evening,

so swimmers need to exercise extreme caution in that area.

The rip current threat is more moderate for Fort Lauderdale and Miami beaches,

while Naples and Marco Island are looking good with just a low risk.

Let's break down what to expect, region by region.

Starting up North and Palm Beach, you're looking at two to three-foot surf today,

with mostly sunny skies and highs in the lower 80s.

Water temps are in the upper 70s, which feels pretty nice.

Light winds will become soft east around 10 miles per hour this afternoon.

The low tide at Lake Worth Pier comes in at 8.13 in the morning,

with the high at 201 in the afternoon.

Sunrise is at 7.18 and sunset at 7.34.

Thursday continues mostly the same story with two to three-foot waves,

sunny skies and highs around 80 degrees.

East winds stay light at 5 to 10 miles per hour.

Tide shifts slightly with the low at 9.21am and high at 3.16pm.

Moving south to Fort Lauderdale in Miami, conditions are a bit calmer.

Expect one to two-foot surf today with mostly sunny weather and highs around 80.

The water remains in the upper 70s.

Light southeast winds around 10 miles per hour develop in the afternoon.

Low tide hits at 8.13am with the high at 2.37pm.

Thursday sees smaller surf, dropping to one foot or less,

with continued sunny skies and east winds of 5 to 10 miles per hour.

Those morning lows come in around 9.25am,

with afternoon highs near 3.50pm.

Down in the Naples and Marco Island area,

conditions are the most benign with one foot or less surf and a low rip current risk.

You'll have mostly sunny skies with some patchy dense fog early today,

highs in the upper 70s and very light winds becoming southwest around 5 miles per hour.

Thursday looks equally pleasant with sunny skies, patchy fog and highs in the lower 80s.

One important note across all beaches, UV index levels are very high.
