Stephen Kenney, that was some second half performance. I don't know what you said to the

lads at halftime. Yeah, no, I think we passed the ball well in the first half, but

we didn't penetrate throughout it. And if they difficult to break down, they very well organized

and they defended well in the first half. You know, obviously we were just a point to go in

one down at halftime, but it was different, different question really. The previous three games

last week we took the lead in. So the other sudden questions were asked. We were one

down at home and a pressure on that when that happens. How are we going to respond to that?

You know, that was a question that asked halftime, right? It's different to last week. We were

one down now. Now, how are we going to respond? What have we made of? So to score four goals

in second half was a brilliant response and you know, I can't praise the players. Highly enough for that.

Yeah, I'm coming from behind and given the history of the game last season because I know when we

talked yesterday before the match, one goal in the four games and people probably asked us why

are we covering this game? There's never goals in this game and obviously we've got five tonight,

but also just the spread of goals from crucial players, you know, Ryan Edmonds and King Levy gets

another one, Aden Kena shows that people say it's only a penalty, but yeah, it was a penalty

save tonight as well. Yeah, it was an important penalty. You know, it was a pressure when he was

only on the pitch and yeah, we've had seven different scores coming into the game and obviously

we scored eight goals last week. So to get another four tonight shows that, you know, we're sort of

fluid in our play and it's great, we're creating chances and that's important. Still running from

proving the course and we get, ask bigger questions on Monday against Derry who obviously

were formidable squad and I already got beat tonight, but I got a very strong squad so we'll have to

get to ourselves down and get ready for that. Yeah, it was obviously great for Ryan to open his

account last week and in the manner he did and then, you know, he had a chance earlier in the game

but then comes up with the call because I'd say a halftime obviously the concern is you need to

get that equalizer as soon as possible. Yeah, yeah, and you don't want to go a call down against

trotted because, you know, they're quite an experienced team and they manage games in a way that

the difficulty to open up and I think, so it was important to get that equalizer. All right,

it was critical for us, yeah, to score. And King Levy scored the winner against Galway. He's

going to make his 100th appearance on Monday night and when you look at it as the way he plays,

some people might say maybe he's not getting enough goals but he's already got two goals

in the season and maybe it's a sign this is the season when they really start to come. Yeah, I think

listening, he knows himself like his play, he's always done so much promise and I know I think he's

elevated this playing at this season again and put the area where he would like to improve

and put pressure on himself is not scoring enough goals and I think the fact that he's got two already

shows he has the capability to score goals and good goals and you know his his work race phenomenal

and his dribbling of the ball is unique, you know, I'll fight it so it's so it is he is someone that

he'll be delighted to get that goal because he puts pressure on himself and now is that

his goal ratio, it's an area that he wants to improve and thankfully he looks like he's well

on the way to deal with that. And now another home game to look forward to Derri City, so they were

they were beaten, you're gone for five in a row and you know things are looking up but when you

think back to even that King Levy gold against Galway just it's amazing how things can change so

quickly. Yeah yeah it is, we know it can go the other way also, you know, because that's

a nature of football and so we're a fair me on the ground and we know we're going to have to really

go again Monday quick turnaround and make sure we're ready to ready to go on Monday against

against Derri who actually very very experienced squad, so we'll have to just just sit down and

look forward to that. And just speaking of goalscores, I've only got two goals tonight. Yeah,

I saw a belief, you know, I haven't seen or heard of them so they've obviously had an

Well Kevin, what was your feelings after that performance?

Yeah, I'm very, very disappointed, obviously. Again, it's a similar story with

Chelbourne two weeks now. We're one and a half times and then we sabotages what we've called it.

We've conceded it from another corner, not doing our jobs and I give away a penalty.

And this is exactly what happened against Chelbourne like literally the exact same thing.

You go in a half time. I'm very comfortable in the fourth half, very happy with how we were playing.

And then like stuff that we've worked on our week about pressing them higher and everything just

everything just changed and you can see the goal and unfortunately at the moment that's the way

it's looking for us that when we concede like that it's almost like an invitation for the

opposition to come again and we won't get away with that again to pass but it was extremely

disappointed because I know the character that we have we haven't shown that character in the last

particularly in the last couple of games but you look back as I say the Chelbourne game is almost

a carbon copy except Pantment on his cordon order but they went on his cordon order when we just

handed them the initiative. Obviously we missed the penalty to go we would have went two one up

maybe it's a different game then but the way we defended it wouldn't say it would have been a

different game they would have put Stubby still scored because we spend so much time on true

the jobs and and the set pieces and for the people not to do their jobs it's very very disappointed

for me as their manager because you talked about getting a reaction after what happened last

weekend and I'd imagine you were very happy a half time you were frustrating obviously the crowd

you could hear we're getting frustrated Luke with the golf kicks you know you get the dream start

so it's the message I have time is more the same. Yeah absolutely like it was against Chels two

weeks ago so there's a carbon cup and and the actual as I said the nature of the golfs

but for a team that we both might have been managing this team for four and a half years

as I've been built on solid foundations and set pieces and we've been incredibly easy to score

against and and it's not like they're very like pants corner is a run to near post it's around

far which it doesn't all the time which we self and Dara have gone through for hours and hours

had the same thing against Chels and I said I can keep doing it and keep saying it and keep going

through and I will keep doing it because that's my job but it's very difficult to watch at times

so when you go over that with players and you know you practice it so on the night then on a match

night is it like it is a mentality thing is it? I know I always always said we did very strong

mentality and when I still my belief is we still deal and we're going through a rocky patch for

everyone of the club but the frustrating part is yeah when you practice and it's the first half

we were fine like it kind of snuck if the game for 45 minutes we would be great but fortunately

they aren't and we go in and as I said we win a half time and speak about the shellball game

and how we have to make sure that we come straight up pretty much speak to a couple of their

players they felt that we dropped off in the second half and there the players on the pitch and

they're going to promise it that's not a message come on from us that like we wanted to get press

and look at everything seems to go against it but again similar to Sharma's bounties after
