Steelers Eye Marvin Mims Trade for Offense Boost

The Pittsburgh Steelers are eyeing a trade to bolster their offense, targeting Denver Broncos

wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. as a slot option, and return specialist.

With needs at offensive line and wide receiver, the team sees this as a low cost way to add

speed and experience without breaking the bank.

Earlier this week, the Broncos made ways by trading for Jalen Waddle from the Miami Dolphins,

which crowded their wide receiver room.

That move pushed Mims down the depth chart, opening the door for Pittsburgh to swoop in

and capitalize on the situation.

Mims, a 23-year-old, former second-round pick out of Oklahoma, brings solid upside despite

a down year.

He led the NFL with 452 pot return yards last season and has returned skills the Steelers

currently lack on their roster.

In three seasons, Mims has played 48 games with 13 starts and 8 touchdown catches far

more than the Steelers Roman Wilson, who has just 14 games under his belt.

His ability to play inside makes him a perfect fit for Pittsburgh slot needs.

This mocked trade could cost only a sixth-round pick, filling two roster holes at once with

high potential.

As the Steelers scout the 2026 draft, keep an eye on whether they pull the trigger to
