Steelers Host Four Draft Prospects

The Pittsburgh Steelers are ramping up their pre-draft workouts with four college prospects

visiting their facility on Friday.

They include North Dakota State quarterback Cole Payton, Texas Tech Limebacker, Jacob

Rodriguez, Georgia Tech Guard, Keelan Rutledge, and Washington, cornerback to cardio Davis.

Jacob Rodriguez stands out as a top-tackler, leading the big 12 conference and tackles for

each of the last two seasons.

He also racked up 21 and a half tackles for loss over that time, plus four interceptions

in 2025.

There's a strong link between Rodriguez and the Steelers, since his former Limebacker's

coach at Texas Tech, CJ, Ah, you now coaches the team's outside Limebackers.

Keelan Rutledge earned all ACC honors in 2024 at Georgia Tech, while Ticario Davis grabbed

two picks for Washington last year.

Payton just finishes pro-day before heading to Pittsburgh.

These visits show the Steelers digging deep into potential picks as the draft gets closer,

building options across positions.
