The Pittsburgh Steelers just brought back offensive lineman Ryan McCollum on a one-year
deal, as they announced on Friday.
McCollum, a 28-year-old restricted free agent, wasn't tender to contract by the deadline
last week, which would have cost the team around.
$3.52 million for next season.
He's been the backup center for the past two years, playing under a $1.04 million
packed in 2025.
In four seasons with Pittsburgh, he's made just three starts, two back in 2024 and one
last year, stepping in for Zach Frazier each time.
This move bolsters the team's interior line depth, heading into training camp, keeping
a familiar face around for insurance.
