NFL story is making news on March 21st.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have agreed to terms on a one-year deal with former Dallas Cowboys
offensive lineman Brock Hoffman.
This 26-year-old center and guard stands 6'4 and weighs 302 pounds.
He's joining to add depth and side on the offensive line.
Earlier this month, reports surfaced about the signing, but those turned out to be premature.
Now it's official, as confirmed by Steelers' reporter Mark Koboli.
Hoffman spent four seasons with the Cowboys, where he made 16 starts over his career.
He played college ball at Virginia Tech.
The Steelers lost starter Isaac Somalo to free agency, so they've been rebuilding depth.
They recently resigned Jack Triscoll and Ryan McCollum to help shore things up.
This move gives Pittsburgh more experienced options up front as they gear up for training
camp and beyond.
