Steelers' Wilson, McCormick Cash in on Performance Bonuses

Steele is linebacker, Peyton Wilson, an offensive guard Mason McCormick got some welcome news on Monday. Each pocketed more than $1 million in performance-based payouts for their heavy playing time last season. Wilson earned $1.1 million while McCormick took home $1.17 million. This money comes from an NFL program that rewards rookies on low-based contracts who see big snap counts. Both players cracked the top 25 in total payouts across the league. It's a nice bum without touching their rookie deals. Wilson logged 1,063 snaps, covering over 60% on defense and special teams. McCormick, meanwhile, started all 17 games and played 100% of the offensive snaps. That kind of workload stood out. They're both early in four-year rookie contracts. $5.9 million for Wilson and $4.8 million from McCormick.
