Mo tech on money podcast KBC.com Appalichunes YouTube Spotify all of your favorite podcasts platforms. Driving home business here in Los Angeles and heading into the Labor Day holiday weekend gas oil diesel prices getting a lot of attention by the way, they're not at record highs here in the Los Angeles area. The latest jobs report also came out today all impacting the financial markets. The Dow moving lower today on the better than expected reading began on jobs today for the month of August, according to the Labor Department. This is the big enchilada of monthly economic reports came in better than expected.
Now that increased expectations at the Fed will or may raise rates at its next meeting coming up here in a couple of weeks. But now coming in for a closing loss of just about 272 points selling at 53,000 414 the S&P 500 down 29 and the Nasdaq down 77 points. The volatility index moving up by 1%. And that jobs report we did see payrolls grow by 162,000 last month. That was much better than the 53,000 most economists were expecting in the nation's unemployment rate held steady at 4.1%. In all this, the yield in a 10 year note is back up to 4.79%. Expectations at the Fed now will raise rates in a couple of weeks increase the Fed funds futures trading now a pricing in a 58% chance of a rate hike. All three of the major averages moved higher yesterday as treasurer yields it pulled back after one of the Fed governor's Christopher Waller said he would be inclined to support in his words keeping rates at their current target.
For the week, the major averages put in a mixed performance to now drop 0.3% over the past week. We got the week off to a rump start, but then some nice gains midweek and the pullback today, the S&P 500 added 0.1% for the week while the Nasdaq gained 0.4% for the week. This is interesting. Women getting a lot of jobs these days, women accounted for 158,000 or about 98% of the 162,000 jobs added in the month of August. This according to CNBC, they took a close look at the numbers we got today from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, turns out men represented the remaining 4,000 positions added, meaning their contribution to overall payroll growth was nearly 40 times smaller. Tesla in the spotlight today moving lower after the EV makers much anticipated cyber cab launch. Some Wall Street analysts have questioned where things go from here with Tesla, the stock dropped more than 6% putting it on pace for its worst day since July 23rd when it dropped
15%. Today's drop also wiped out the strong gains from the previous session. Ungasted oil prices were keeping an eye on that of course with the Iran war continuing and flaring up over the past week. Oil prices move higher today to wrap up the week ending the week substantially higher after the U.S. and Iran resumed exchanging fire this week. Retailed U.S. diesel prices hit a record high nationwide rent crude oil selling at 92.68 a barrel of 76 cents and West Texas intermediate in New York settled at 91.48 a barrel also up by 18 cents. Today weekend travelers facing the highest gas prices ever for this time of the year, the national average now 414 up 4 cents from last week continued volatility in the straight-up hormones pushing oil prices back above $90 a barrel over the past week. The current Labor Day record is 382 set on September 3rd 2012 even though gasoline demand
decreases this time of the year typically bringing down gas prices this year is different due to the high cost of crude oil. By the way let's take a look here in Southern California we're looking at 585 the average price for regular gas here in Los Angeles 464 the average price let me take two on that one 586 a gallon is where we stand here right now in the Los Angeles area 624 the average price for premium and 774 the average price for diesel by the way 785 was the highest ever diesel price here in the Los Angeles area that happened back in April of this year and we are well below the the record high for a for regular gas here in the Los Angeles area but in all this we're paying the highest gas prices in the United States. I'll discuss the Tesla story the latest car news and gas prices heading into the Labor Day holiday weekend with Lauren Fick's the co host of the drive cars show and founder of the car coach reports on YouTube and we're also tracking Hurricane Marie heading into
Labor Day holiday weekend a powerful ocean swell generated by Hurricane Marie is poised to hit Southern California we're supposed to get some showers also heading into Labor Day we'll keep an eye on that and also in the central Pacific you got Hurricane Karina and also another one out there Hurricane Lowell taking aim at Hawaii at the latest satellite image by the way of these three hurricanes in the Pacific looks something like a Vincent Van Gogh story night painting so we got three hurricanes in the Pacific and certainly cruises being impacted by this normally cruises departing from LA and Long Beach were rarely affected by the hurricanes and we'll get an update on all this coming up later this hour from the one and only storage sheer rendezvous got the cruise guy dot com website and indeed he is in fact the cruise guy he'll be live with us here on MoTek on money on seven ninety KBC how is the Iran war impacting cruises we'll get an answer to that too coming up live later this hour but first on your money the markets the economy and the
whole works now joining us live to wrap up the week Jonathan Honeig Fox News contributor portfolio manager at Campolis Pig hedge fund and on through the book prices primary how to profit with any asset in any market at any time Jonathan Honeig thank you very much for taking the call here this evening. Frank great to be with you and you know just kind of looking at some of this week's action and kind of reinforce what we've been saying for quite some time is that there's a new tune in town if you will there's new leadership in town and you mentioned Tesla with some pretty new innovation yet the stock is still down some eighteen some hundred percent this year so uh... this is been a year of new leadership for stocks and a lot of what we used to think of is quite old sleeping names like a coke hola or john deer or outpacing some of the tech names that had led the market for many many years. On Tesla the cyber cab update underwhelmed wall street and so that headline and looks
like the feds at launch investigation into a Tesla cyber cab deployment what do you think of Tesla here now and this cyber cab that launched this week. I mean amazing technology Frank I mean you think you have to even if you never invest a dime into Tesla you have to give it to these incredible engineers and not just with Tesla you know this is one example Frank where they're actually behind the ball we know we're owned by amazon already has four thousand plus vehicles in their network and Tesla Tesla is really behind the ball here but you have to give it off to their technology I mean think of all the god willing drunk driving incidents this is going to save and all the opportunities this might you know facilitate for people people being able to travel and move around so this is going to be a new age of transportation I just don't think it's moving Tesla stock too much I mean normally we would see a stock like Tesla moving to new highs but it's it's really lagging this year and that's one I'd probably avoid even moving into 2027.
Of course it's alphabet Google that has the the way most here at amazon has the the zoos they're all competing against you. These major these major tech giants here and anything in that space that's getting your attention obviously Amazon also competing with Elon Musk on the rockets there that's spectacular explosion a few months ago and we see the new Waymo blue many bands out here in the Los Angeles area now along with those white jaguars they've been using what are your thoughts about those names and of course we're getting ready for the Olympics here including flying cars and and the driverless cars will be very active here too. Thank you for you know correcting me and yeah I mean they're all amazing companies but I'm looking in far off lands and areas that really haven't been so popular as of late. One fund I like quite a bit now Frank that a lot of my clients own is GVAL that's GVAL it focuses on global so international value stocks so not the high tech you know high
technology AI startups but things that are like in pipelines or energy or healthcare what we think of as being steady-eddy type of value names and it's just a valuation call here Frank I mean Amazon Google Tesla wonderful companies but just not cheap on a historical basis so GVAL do your own due diligence but I think this is a place that you're going to be able to make money in the next year and a half even if the major indices don't go anywhere at all. On to your live with Jonathan Honeig the awesome Fox News contributor portfolio manager and Campbell's Pig hedge fund and author of the book prices primary not a profit with any asset in any market at any time what are your thoughts here about the Johns report which move the market today looks like now the expectation is the Fed might raise rates here and of course the yield and that 10 year notes been getting a lot of attention has been rising lately suddenly the bond market has been getting a lot more attention that it has been in the past what are your thoughts about these these benchmark yields and everything else
that's been going on this week. Well this is almost the yield of the week Frank that people woke up to something that again we have been talking about four weeks which is a persistent rise in interest rates I mean it's almost a little funny the president with all respect to him keeps talking about lower interest rates but the market itself is moving towards higher interest rates and the yield on that 30 year now you know looking at 5.4 5.5% so you know I always talk about in my book that trends once they're in place you know they they tend to persist and the trend right now is in higher interest rates so one idea is to avoid interest rate risk with something like us fr that's us fr it's actually an ETF that owns floating rate treasuries so it kind of mitigates that interest rate risk because people have lost money this year Frank investing in good old US treasury bonds because interest rates have risen that much and I just don't see that trend reversing anytime soon.
Right and we've raised the question here on that 60 40 mix that traditional mix that a lot of portfolio managers rely on what do you thoughts about 60 40 now and should folks be making some adjustments. Well it's always about people's individual risk tolerance their situation their you know their goals but there's no question Frank that traditional 60% stocks 40% bonds I tell you what I always talk growing up is what they used to call the rule of 100 when I was in the just starting the business they'd say you take your age and track it from 100 and that's the percentage that you should be in risky assets so let's say somebody who's 50 years old might be 50% in bonds 50% stocks somebody who's in their 70s or 80s might only be 30 or 20% in stocks the idea that as you get older you should become and I do believe more conservative in your investments so you know it's great for a young person to be 100% in stocks but I think as you get older nature and just the reality of the market
requires that you become more conservative as you get as you get older. All right what about Bitcoin here had a nice pop this week around 81,000 and right now trading it around 79 the almost 80 here 79 seven here at last check and Ethereum moved above 2500 doge which is fun to say at 8 cents so what are your thoughts here on the crypto moves this week. I might say Frank I think it goes higher and not because I'm suddenly a Bitcoin convert but I think the big story here is the dollar debatement trade so you know for example I like an ETF FXC that's FXC is in Canada it's an ETF that literally you put your money in FXC it's like buying the Canadian dollar and if the dollar goes up the Canadian dollar goes up relative to the US dollar so does that ETF FXC and I do think that that we're at the beginning of a long term trend now not unlike what we saw from say 2000 to 2010 where the value of the dollar declined so I think a Bitcoin is going to benefit but I also think
the metals benefit as well platinum is my favorite I own it for clients over at capital spig the best way to play it is pplp that's the ETF that tracks platinum and of course you want to do your own diligence make sure it's appropriate for your own position as well. On their live with Jonathan Honeig and let's get into oil now here above 90 barrel and people are being reminded of that as we pass the gas pumps here and if you're unlucky enough to have to get gas this weekend we're paying a lot but we're used to that here in California but eye popping prices for diesel nationwide hitting a record high nationwide and here we're looking at 774 gallon for diesel that's not quite the 785 which was the record high we were paying several months ago regular gas here in LA 586 a gallon 624 the average price for premium that diesel price by the way nearly $2.60 a gallon higher than
a year ago here in the Los Angeles area what about from an investment standpoint where you're placing your bets as far as gas and oil companies at this point. Yeah I mean I wish I saw this friend reversing Frank but you know assets like DBO for example that's David boy always an oil that just tracks the value of oil I mean it's hitting new as you said six months plus highs or another one I like is UGA that tracks the price of gasoline futures and you know Frank we always joke when we say you know investing is like bar hopping you gotta go where the action is and the fact that these commodity prices are hitting one month high six month high one year high the odds are that those highs will continue and that the trend will continue so you know I'm fearful and of course in California a lot of what you pay is taxes and regulatory cost but you know I'm fearful that we could easily be seeing not just $4 a gallon for gas but perhaps even 5 or 6 before this big move in crude
oil is done. All right in China will soon be in focus as the president has set the host the Chinese leader at the White House on September 24th what about China we haven't talked about China much lately and of course all the tariff talk has been focused on Canada lately what about China here as it gets more attention. I mean I'm bullish on emerging markets in general Frank you know they don't get the attention that they got you know 10 12 15 years ago but they're just dirt cheap relative to US markets including China so I like an asset like B.C. E. M. that's B.C. E. M. it's an ETF that tracks emerging markets or for China in particular check out C-BON that C-B-O-N it is an ETF that tracks if you will the Chinese YONs the Chinese bond market so basically if the dollar to kinds relative to the Chinese currency C-B-O-N goes up so it's a little bit of an oddball for a pick Frank but you know as I said I do think that dollar
to basement trade is intact and you're going to see a lot of these foreign currency plays and foreign currency bonds do well against a falling dollar. Very interesting right in a lot of the currency actions been focused on the Japanese YEN as the as the US has been trying to prompt up the YEN recently anything you're doing with Japan in all of this. Well I mean I think it's working in fact you know if you want it's a bet along with Treasury Secretary of Besson F.X.Y. is a pretty unusual security I mean you know Frank the Japanese YEN is trading at you know multi decade lows relative to the US dollars so it's about one of the cheapest assets you can find globally so again I mean when you're talking about currencies it's it is different from stocks it requires a little bit more to Dylan Chintensen and understanding but F.X.Y. is one way to play that friend I think makes sense especially if your whole portfolio of stocks and bonds I think that was a great time to introduce some commodities introduce some foreign exchange and really have some true diversification
place. All right and with the Canadian tariffs also being talked about the last couple of weeks so what about Canada anything you're doing there. Well yeah I mean I think as I said F.X.Y. is the Canadian dollar play I think there's that's a way to make money but you know a lot of the Canadian stocks Frank are energy related and energy as an entire sector is really outperforming now you know given the price of crude oil given the price of these as you pointed out so you know a lot of the energy names I mean one way to plant we've talked about this one before the the master limited partnerships AMLP you know yields more than 7% and generally tracks commodity prices so you know this is this is a good these are the good times for a lot of the commodity related names I mean archer Daniels Miesland Frank you know just about as boring as you can get right soybeans and corn stock stocks up 50% this year so a lot of these boring names are having great great years
nothing boring on this program by the way Jonathan anything else you'd like to mention any any other specific places where you're putting money now at war taking it off the table. Well I mean just as a just as a as a comparative example you know that those mag seven stocks you know wonderful companies they will change our lives but you know they're only up about seven or eight percent this year Frank so far below the Russell 2000 small cap or some of the international names and I'll say it reminds me very much of that period again 2000 to 2010 the internet use really exploded I mean people really got on the internet during that decade but also during that decade the internet stocks actually underperformed so we could see a period now where AI becomes an integral part of our lives but the AI stocks actually underperformed having done so well over the previous three to four years that's my full prediction wonderful thank you very much for taking the call and covering all the bases here that's Jonathan Honeig Fox News and Fox Business Contributor portfolio manager and capitalist pig hedge fund author the great book prices primary
how to profit with any asset in any market at any time Jonathan we wish you a great three day weekend labor day weekend and thank you again very much for joining us live here this evening best do you franken all your listeners do well thank you very very much out to the freeways we go now on 790 KBC Motaka money continues here 790 KBC heading into the labor day holiday weekend three hurricanes in the Pacific Ocean we're especially tracking hurricane Marie powerful ocean swell generated by at least the remnants of hurricane Marie is expected hit southern California over the weekend with some showers and potential flooding in coastal communities as well as high surf and and some other things that you normally see in a tropical environment we are also watching in the central Pacific hurricane Karina and hurricane Lowell taking aim at the Hawaiian Islands also and the Gulf of America looks like Trump the former tropical storm Edward continues to weaken there although it's continuing to bring heavy rain and flooding to parts of Texas it's kind of rare to
see cruises impacted out of the ports of LA and Long Beach rarely affected by hurricanes and let's see what's happening this time around let's bring in the cruise guy himself George Huron the cruise guide cruise guy dot com short thank you very much for taking the call live with this year this evening oh franken's a pleasure and it's just it's just not having the hurricanes here in the Atlantic and Caribbean right so we got an unusual situation if you've seen the latest map as I mentioned earlier it looks like that hurricane map here in the Pacific looks like a van goa starry night painting with the three hurricanes in the Pacific at the moment to tell us how cruises are they first of all being impacted out out of the ports of LA and Long Beach and the Hawaiian Islands well not not yet you know we're by the way we're we're six days shy of the peak of current hurricane season and you know the you're talking about El Nino on the west coast and on the east coast for the first time in anyone's lifetime anyone that's been alive we're experiencing a
super El Nino and you know there's been really no development the the the seas are cooler the temperatures are cooler you got you know the the dust coming in from the Sahara and the storms can't develop but what you're seeing on the west coast you know the hurricane Marie which is coming up it's interesting it's not a very large storm and the hurricane force winds only extend up to 45 miles the tropical storm force winds are up to 195 miles but you see the effects of let's say what you're what they're seeing in Cabo San Lucas and they're 400 miles away it's unbelievable that they're getting that much rain in Cabo San Lucas from the rain bands from the storm but you know that one so at 80 it's a 85 miles per hour the one you know heading just it'll be north well north of the Hawaiian Islands it it's barely a hurricane at 75 miles an hour and they expect that one to further weaken but you know the the cruise ships are you know I've done you know loads of
interviews that the cruise ships have the same weather tracking equipment that we do a shore not to mention they're dealing with let's say the National Hurricane Center the ships themselves do such a great job staying as far away from the storm so I just came off of Ansels or we can get away today and in the Atlantic in the Bahamas as we were sailing at sea the other day you know we could we were on the very outstretched side you know edge of of a Kurt of a rain storm and it's because of that weather tracking equipment that they're able to minimize the impacts on the ships and they reroute so if there was a storm threatening you know let's say Los Angeles they'll reroute they'll reschedule they may delay the return or they may hasten a return in order to be able to get out but you know right now the schedules are running normal in Hawaii they had to bring in the ships early a couple weeks ago for a previous storm but you know it's you know
it's a great time to be going on on these cruises that's great well full steam ahead then so minor itinerary or schedule adjustments but that's great maybe you can give us an update and that's great that you just came back off a cruise ship today and how many cruises is that for you by the way have you kept count of course we've exceeded 350 that's amazing well we're talking to the right guy here we're on the air with Stuart Sheeran the cruise guy cruise guy dot com Stuart what about the ports of LA and Long Beach I know in the past you've been to some spectacular inaugural sailings and great the chrisenings and so forth what's new here at the ports of LA Long Beach and of course what are the great deals at the moment too well there's the sailing the the three four night sailings roe crewman is decreasing for 27 as the redeploy ships back out to the age area but there's tons of opportunities coming up I mean you've got carnival and CL princess
you know heading down to San Diego they also add in the the Holland America but you know the ports I mean the development you see in Los Angeles and Portable Los Angeles is still going full steam ahead as you would say with their port development finally which is great news it's going to add a very much needed third birth to handle more ships you know it's amazing I got into this business frank and you know there was fewer than two million people a year going on a cruiser and here we are years later and we're approaching 40 million people worldwide going on cruises and it's not just cruises but the river cruise market is really just shockingly exploding on the alive with the cruise guys George Sheeran is being of worldwide what's how's the the Iran war impacting cruises at the moment well thankfully it's really not it's not it's not doing too stupid back fuel costs the cruise costs are are very normal people are going
the Mediterranean is going to record another record season northern europe continues on popularity and we're going to see some ports like Alexandria Egypt returning to 2027 Mediterranean itineraries which was very popular back which is that's got to be 2013 since a lot of lines had gone there but it's nice to see some reemergence of ports that have been off limits for many years but the the popularity is continuing to increase and now there's good a time to be thinking about you know not only the you know sailing out of you know southern California but also heading up to Alaska Hawaii and and on off to Europe all right what about river cruises been hearing more about those lately what's what's new here in the good old USA well it's it's an explosive market what we're hearing is or what we're seeing and I did the Danube River from the past this
year and the wherever levels are are having a significant problem for many of the cruise lines that are out there so the river cruises that are they're trying to compensate for the low levels but here in the US you know there's a there's a company with 22 boats called American cruise lines and they're doing outrageously well they don't their boats are about 130 to 100 or about 200 passengers on the max side and you know that we did a cruise from Clarkson, Washington followed the trail of Lewis and Clark to Portland they have ships in Alaska, Pujot Sound sailing around the San Juan Islands you know they're doing coals up the Mississippi River it's unbelievable I mean last year I did an American Revolution cruise out of around Japan DC and you know it's it's a really nice way to see the US and you don't need you don't need a foreign port because these ships are built
in the US and you know they're you you've proved and it's just it's a really neat way so when you do New England notice I didn't say Canada because they're they're US based and they don't need a visitor foreign port and and we were blown away by it being told they were 82% sold out for 2027 already. That is amazing well Stuart thank you very much for that great update and pulled steam ahead for you in the cruise business that is the cruise guy himself Stuart Sheeran at cruiseguy.com Stuart we wish you a wonderful evening and thank you very much for joining us live on Motek on money thanks Frank and look forward to talk to you soon. That's terrific thank you very much out to the freeways now 790 KBC. Motek a money continues your 790 KBC looks like Labor Day weekend travelers on the road facing the highest gas prices ever for this time of the year
nation wide we're not at record highs here in the Los Angeles area but diesel by the way a nation wide hit a record high today 585 is the average price for diesel nation wide the price here 774 a gallon for diesel the record high for diesel happened back in April of this year here in the LA area 785 regular gas here in LA 586 a gallon premium now 624 an average as you head out this Labor Day holiday weekend looks like the regular price were well below that haven't seen that high since 2022 keeping track of all of this as well as what's happening with self driving cars self driving taxis including the Tesla story here with this Robo taxi rollout which is getting mixed reviews the latest car news and and the whole works now joining slide Lauren fix the cohost the drive cars show and founder of the carcoge reports on YouTube Lauren thank you very much for coming to the line well you're welcome yeah that so I should qualify that California has its
own special little love for their drivers they raise the taxes on gas which is why gas prices are so high in California and there's another new tax that's potentially going to go through that would cost drivers about another $900 per year is an automatic mileage trackers can be mandated on cars and this is this is being tried to fight it but again here we are another gasoline text that's currently raising your gas taxes to about 95 for 95 cents per gallon of what you're pumping is taxed so that is your state of California that is not the rest of the country so why they sit a gas prices are higher they are but it's important to note that a some women Carl DeMio I hope I said his name are I think he's out of San Diego he's trying to kill assembly bill 1421 so currently the democrats are trying to advance the bill the impose is an additional costly new mileage tests and half of the one you just got which is an additional 22 cents per gallon that just started coming in August 1st so we're starting to see this implementation of more and more taxes and I
know that the goal for least you have a new sum is to try and get you out of your gasoline car and buy EVs but you could afford a new car you would buy a new car not everybody's in that position you certainly don't want to buy a new car if you can't afford one especially with the increased insurance and of course you got a lot of place to charge it these are all things that most people don't think about so imposing these mileage checks as follows on your governor and remember when you vote in November make your choices wisely you get what you choose and so that's really an important factor and then back to the robo taxes you were talking about it's interesting to watch that what Tesla's doing and Elon Musk as a whole when he comes out with the robo taxis he always knows how to do this he is the piper would you like him or not he has a following people love him anytime he brings anything out there's a dip in the in the stocks and I'm not telling you about investments but it always goes back up I watch it and I'm thinking I wouldn't even know how to invest in this because he's all over the road I guess you buy it if you love it but it's interesting to watch but I think the robo taxes are interesting but the federal
government start looking at this thing wait a minute no pedals no steering wheel that's a concern for people and it only has two seats so let's see what the federal government says they may say that he has to put in steering wheels and pedals but then if you can't use them anyhow I don't know what what they're there for so this could be an interesting situation for for Tesla yeah so the Tesla launched the driverless cyber cam but robo taxes service in Austin taxes so what's the the buzz on that did you get a chance to to see that or read in on it and now it's creating some regulatory issues that you mentioned and one headline said he's pushing the regulatory limits with this cyber cam robo taxis service. Nothing he always I think I get to give the guy credit for at least doing things that no one's to he dances in what I call the gray areas where there's no rules one way or the other but it causes rules to be made and even when he did you know the model pilot and all that unfortunately
it was it's deceiving and some countries have forced him to change the name or to remove the service completely because of the fact that it doesn't meet their government regulations but I think the robo taxis as a whole is enormous potential I did see the launch it wasn't as exciting as some of his other launches at least he didn't try to have a baseball hit the glass foot break like he did with the cyber truck but it does bring to the autonomy and the liability insurance and the crashes and all that all that falls on Tesla so if there's an accident Tesla is responsible and obviously if you're passing during my car you can't be responsible you weren't driving there's nothing no way for you to control the vehicle I think right now it's going to stay on you know city street uh they're trying to keep you in the waymo's off the highway although waymo has way more vehicles there's always a problem with them being on the highway and potentially causing issues with other traffic because people move around on the highway so it's like on the 405 or on the 10 it gets a little crazy so right now they're trying to keep the waymo's off of the highway and keeping them on the surface roads which is probably a better place
or remember they've had tickets they've actually ticketed waymo's and there's no one in the car which I find amusing so I guess the ticket goes to the corporation again lots of things that have never happened before and I'm not sure if I trust all these rides I've written in a couple of them to be for a short distance but there's too many horror stories out there people have gotten to the airport and they can't get out of the car or they find a different route and make them wait for their flight and those are kind of things that upset a lot of consumers I've seen waymo's ticketed in Beverly Hills apparently there's a QR code or something and when a waymo blocks traffic they they can get a ticket so I have seen that happen they tend to stop right in the middle of the street in some situations and if there's a traffic enforcement there or police officer then they are cited now what about the new waymo on the streets here in L.A. that blue mini van that we briefly talked about when they first started rolling here but they seem to be Chinese vehicles how do they get in here yeah those are a bike they'll be called zoops
and VOX they have about 46 of them in the L.A. area it's more of a test bed and it's funny how we say we don't want Chinese cars here but they're already here I mean besides the Chinese components that those vehicles are built there and I think it's interesting great for campuses short distances getting around when traffic's a little crazy you don't want to drive me you got kids are you stressed or whatever you can't drive that makes sense where I I'm concerned about relying on it wholly because when the weather's bad they can't see when there's no power which does happen or a brown out they don't function so this creates some other issues that I think have to be a draft and so not having access to a person driving a vehicle or your own vehicle is going to be a concern in the future for sure all right then zoops also launching a amazon right expanding its robo taxi service in Las Vegas so so the robots are taken over so Lauren yeah not not into the
