Hi, everybody.
Welcome back.
This is the streaming half of our Friday show on Old Man Squad Fantasy Basketball presented
by FanDuel.
Thanks again for subscribing.
Thanks for listening all season long.
Let's see if we can roll up a few new ones of you here as we get towards the end of the
regular season, especially here when we're focused so hard on playoffs.
Yes, I did that stupid impression.
I did do it.
Today, we're going to talk Friday and Saturday streams.
We mentioned on yesterday's streamer episode that Friday is not that big of a streamer
day.
I will repeat why.
Because in my opinion, there are really only a couple of teams where I actually might have
only been one.
I think it was the Wizards, right?
It's really only one team where you might have leaned into them to pick up fringy guys
to get three games at the beginning of the week, where there's only one left and it's
on Sunday.
And the team goes into a bad schedule next week, and that team is the Wizards.
The other teams that I'd point out right now that you might consider moving off of today
on Friday, you're looking for teams that have one game left the rest of the week on Sunday,
not today, because if it's today, you're going to hold the player through that thing.
And also don't have a particularly good schedule next week.
The other maybes in that group would be Chicago, who has one game left this week on Sunday,
and then goes into three games in five days to start next week instead of three games
in four, which is not a disaster of a schedule.
It's better than the Wizards, and it does tee you up if you wanted to make a move late
next week and pick up somebody that has a Saturday, Sunday, back to back.
I think there's three or four choices there.
So Chicago schedule, not as bad.
And the other thing about the bulls is you probably didn't pick them up this week.
If you did, you did it back on Tuesday for trade Jones, in which case, all right.
Now you're trying to size up how close is this week actually going to be because Jones
is playing well.
He looks like he might be good enough just to have rostered in a three game week going
forward.
Anybody else you picked up on the bulls was you're going to pick up Colin Sexton, maybe.
I guess he's a guy that you could get rid of if you think everybody's going to be back
by Sunday, but maybe you don't want to.
Other teams that only play Sunday the rest of this week, it's it's few and far between
the Sacramento Kings who they have a four game week next week and the King's streamers,
who the hell did you pick up this week?
Nobody knew popped up and their schedule was bad anyway.
So you did like, did you pick up Nick Clifford on Tuesday?
He probably was at it already earlier in the week or early or late last week.
And honestly, you probably hold that guy through their four game or next week.
And Toronto doesn't have any streamers.
So you didn't pick anybody else up on that team.
But they also, by the way, have a four game week next week.
So the bulls, I guess, are like kind of the the B tier on this one, but it's really the
wizards.
And I don't know that you guys even need me to show you the names of the players you should
be getting rid of on Washington, because it's pretty much everybody.
Kishan George is out and probably the rest of the season.
I think they said a few weeks, but like this is the wizards we're talking about.
So surely it's going to be more than that.
You probably picked up a bunch of guys for the three games and four nights.
I would argue that the only one that you should probably hold through this bad scheduling
pocket is tray young.
None of these other guys is good enough to warrant it.
None of these guys is good enough to be a play in a three game week consistently.
The closest would be Bilal Kool-Ablee, who's you can see ranked third on this board over
the last couple of weeks for the wizards.
We can shrink it to the last one week.
Justin Champeni is at a few good ball games in a row, but the minutes have been low.
So it's kind of impossible to know what he's going to be.
And he didn't even get to play in yesterday's ballgame.
So he's not even a guarantee to play in the games they do have.
Because this was against a tanky opponent and they've decided that he's too conducive
to winning.
Right?
Didn't he set this one out?
I think he sat out yesterday's game.
Yeah, he didn't play.
So all the other guys, you can get rid of them for the bad schedule.
The only one you're considering holding onto is Kool-Ablee.
Because with Kishan George out, Bilal could actually be, especially in like a particular
head-to-head punt build, which we're thinking about all of that here.
This is a head-to-head streaming type of strategy show.
Maybe, maybe you try to wield your way through this one.
But otherwise, all of the rest of them were very easy drops.
Champeni is an easy drop because now you don't know what games he's actually going to play
in.
I didn't know who the hell Julian Reese was until he popped off in yesterday's ballgame.
But you didn't add him because you didn't know who he was either.
Peaky black, drop him, Will Riley, drop him, Anthony Gill, Trey Johnson, drop him all.
Keep Tray young and think about keeping Bilal.
But only if you can't find someone, because again, the Wizards remember, they have four games
over the next 10 days.
You can find plenty of teams that have six.
I bet there's a team out there that has seven, although I haven't looked at it yet.
No, probably not.
Probably a bunch of sixes over the next 10 days.
And if you really loved your wizard, you could drop him today, Friday, pick him back up
on Tuesday of next week if you really wanted to, because they have a good week, schedule
finals week, go ahead and get him back for the five-gamer that starts on March 16th.
But to me, the Wizards are the team you're abandoning ship on.
And I'm not going to do the other half of this streaming discussion, because you can
pick basically anybody that has two games left the rest of this week.
The best options if we're going to flip back over to the calendar here for you, YouTubers,
would be teams that not only have two games left the rest of this week, but start next
week with a game on Monday.
Those two teams are the Clippers and the Knicks, who actually happened to play one another
on Monday, not surprisingly, I guess that's not too crazy, given Monday's a pretty light
day.
So today, tomorrow, Monday, Knicks go today, Sunday, Monday.
There isn't really an advantage to one side or the other because once you make that move,
you're holding through at least Monday, and the Clippers actually have a good schedule
that rolls all the way until the middle of finals week.
So if you like somebody on the Clippers and you think they're going to have it opening,
just hold them for like two weeks.
Guys on the Clippers that have played well lately that might be sitting on your wire
would be a Jordan Miller, which John Collins out for a few ball games.
He could be interesting, but probably kind of meh.
Chris Dunn, he's probably already even picked up because the Clippers have had a good
schedule for this week already.

So I don't know if there's anybody, Derek Jones Jr. might be the, or not Jr. anymore.
Derek Jones might be the only other one that pops up where you're like, ah, I mean, I guess
we want to go Isaiah Jackson.
That's iffy.
He'll probably play, I don't know.
15 minutes a game.
That's enough.
So you could go Isaiah Jackson.
If you needed big man stats, kind of try to catch lightning and a bottle sort of thing,
but you don't have to go with those two teams.
If you really wanted to load up the end of this week, again, you're looking at any of about
half the NBA, anybody that has two games between Friday and Sunday, those teams, I'll read
them to you here.
Boston Charlotte Dallas Detroit Houston, Indiana clippers.
We talked about Lakers, Miami, Milwaukee, New Orleans, the Knicks again, Orlando, Phoenix,
Portland, San Antonio.
I didn't count that, but that was somewhere between I think 10 and 15 teams.
So you have a billion choices to take your very bad Washington wizard player and turn
them into somebody that's hopefully a little bit better that has two games left the rest
of this week.
But again, I don't think today, Friday is a day for making moves.
To me, this is a day where you're making a move only if you found out somebody's about
to get a zero for you for a long time.
Like news came out yesterday, John Morant is out two more weeks.
I don't think he's playing the rest of this season, but two weeks takes you basically
to the end of your finals week.
So you could drop John Morant and I don't know if that opens up a roster slot for you,
but that would be a reason to make a move today.
That's not related to the Washington wizards.
Now let's turn the page and look at tomorrow Saturday streaming Sunday streaming.
We'll talk about on Sunday, but honestly, Sunday streaming is the easiest thing on
Earth.
If you get to Sunday and you still have a roster move left, you're looking to not only
bolster, you're figuring out if you need stats to continue to win this week or if you
want to set yourself up for next week, if you already think you're in really good shape.
One of my head to head matchups, I got very lucky.
Long time listener was my opponent and he had like five guys go down this week.
Brutal injury luck, but I watched it happen.
He had to use all of his roster moves basically to take care of those injuries and he still
had more happen.
So I have a massive games advantage, meaning I probably don't need to add one extra game
on Sunday.
If I have a move left at the end of this week, I'm probably going to use it to set up
the following week.
Another league in a head to head battle is a little bit tighter.
In that league, I might have to use my move on Saturday or Sunday to add a game this
week.
Well, let's talk Saturday for now.
Right now, Saturday is a team where you're moving off of streamers that don't play over
the weekend or injuries or if you have a streamer, you really hate those are the three scenarios.
The one team that has a particularly bad schedule over the weekend is the Denver Nuggets.
They are and you can see from me scrolling up and down here on YouTube.
They are the only team and again, remember guys, you have access to this Google sheet
streaming calendar.
It's in the show description.
Link's been there the whole damn year.
The Nuggets are the only team in the NBA that does not play Saturday or Sunday.
So if you have Christian Brown or Julian Strathor or Bruce Brown or Jonas Valentinus or literally
anybody that's not Jamal Murray and Nicola Yokech, you can move off of them to a team that
has a weekend back to back and there are a couple of those teams Detroit has a weekend
back to back.
I remember Orlando has it and Milwaukee is the other one.
There's three teams.
We've talked about Detroit a bunch.
Their streaming options are Duncan Robinson for threes and Isaiah Stewart for big man stats.
Milwaukee, we haven't talked about very much or land will come back to Milwaukee because
that's the first time we're mentioning them really on any streaming show so far because
their schedule beginning of the week was not terrific.
Orlando we've been talking about as possible stream destination since Tuesday, Tristan
to Silva is the only player we've brought up on that team and it's still the same as
it was before Milwaukee for the first time here making a guest appearance on old man squad
fantasy basketball has some streamers right now, but it's pretty confusing who they might
be.
Kevin Porter Jr.'s out I already listed a questionable I don't think he's going to play
in their next game, but we'll see Miles Turner, Yannis who probably will sit out one
half of that back to back obviously these are guys that you're starting Ryan Rollins
has been excellent.
He's a guy you're starting and he's going to get to do a lot, a lot if you honest and
Kevin Porter Jr.'s are both out on the same day for the weekend back to back.
You could go Bobby Portis if you needed scoring and threes and a little bit of rebounding.
You could go Kyle Kuzma if you needed inefficient scoring and who quite knows what else.
You could go Jericho Sims if you just needed rebounds from the weekend, which as a thread
did the needle kind of thing.
You could go Usman Jang if you don't really know what you want and you just want to see
if you can get a little bit of a few things, you could go AJ Green if you want to get four
three pointers from the weekend or you can go tam cam Thomas if you want to get 20 points
from the weekend and some pretty good free throw percentage.
So there's all these kind of crap, tackler options.
The easy choice would be a Portis or a Kuzma although Kuz got a DNP earlier this week
so figure that one out.
Portis is the easy one.
He's the safest stream on Milwaukee.
If you wanted to go with the weekend back to back, he's almost definitely going to play
20 minutes.
He's going to get his eight to 11 shots up because he just launches and he's going to score
a little bit the little couple threes who get a few rebounds like you kind of at least
know sort of what you're getting out of Bobby almost knocked my water over.
And that's kind of the weekend back to back situation.
If you're making your move on Saturday.
Conversely, I would say that if unless you have an injury and if you have an injury, you
should focus on these back to back teams because turn a zero into a two game.
That's a really big deal.
If you don't have an injury or a Denver nugget, because there are 10 games on Sunday and
that's not always the case next Sunday.
There's seven the following Sunday finals week.
There's only five.
Now with 20 teams playing, they're going to be streaming options on Sunday.
That's important to remember strategically because if only 10 teams were going to take
finals week Sunday, for instance, you wouldn't have as many choices.
We assume there's like maybe one player that you can stream per team on average.
Some teams have bad, bad, bad streamers and yes, you can you could dig deep and throw
a Houston streamer in your mix, but effectively there is zero.
Some teams are as zero for streamers.
A lot of teams have one.
Some teams have like a guy you'd call a half like Charlotte is like a half a streamer.
Ryan Cochburn is like a half a streamer.
Some teams have a couple spurs have a few.
So on Sunday, that's to me, if you still have a roster move today, Friday, and you don't
have any of the teams I mentioned, specifically the wizards or the nuggets being the two wizards
for Friday nuggets for Saturday and odds are a lot of you won't have a wizard or a nugget
on your team.
Try to hold that move.
I would say until Sunday, because if you don't have the wizards today, PS, again, you're
only adding one move, no matter what you do with any of this stuff, except dropping
a nugget tomorrow is a chance to add two moves the rest of this week.
So that's the one that's like the most evident.
If you need to still add games this week and try to win this week is nuggets tomorrow,
but wizards today, you move off a wizard, you're going to go from somebody with one game
to somebody with two.
It's an upgrade, but it's not that big of an upgrade.
So outside of the wizards, who again, they play on Sunday, which means that like if you
don't make your move off the wizards today, you're sort of stuck.
This is this is the time to do it when you have a crap, crap loaded choices.
Try to hold your last move until Sunday, if you can.

This was a week because Monday was a low tide day and Wednesday was a low tide day and
Tuesday, Thursday was a higher tide day and Sunday is streaming early this week was actually
the right move.
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday were the three days that we isolated on this show.
To make your moves to really add games to your ledger to add one and a half to two.
Basically, you want to average like one and a half to two added games per move you make.
You go wizards early in the week.
You go with a team that has four games left on Tuesday from a team that only had two games
left the rest of the week.
Wednesday, you tried not to do anything because there wasn't a big advantage to be gained.
Thursday was a day where three teams gave you an opportunity to go from a one game rest
of week to a three game rest of week.
And if we budgeted out like this and hopefully you don't have too many players on the teams
we talk about, you should have a move left for an injury or two moves left for an injury.
I'll tell you this in both of my head to head matchups today, Friday, I woke up with
one move left to use both of them and I feel great about that because the guy gets hurt
or we get injury news, something maybe in the middle of the day today, I'll drop that guy
and pick up somebody as two games left.
And if I don't, I'm going to keep holding that move probably again, I might move off
of the Washington wizard today might you don't have to.
You might have somebody that you're looking to move off of tomorrow.
Let's say you have one move left and you have a wizard and a nugget.
Your better move is to wait for the nuggets to play tonight and then move off of them tomorrow.
Get two bonus games instead of dropping your wizard.
So max out your games, use your moves effectively.
And if you're in great shape, you can start to look towards the beginning of next week.
And there are some interesting teams next week that we will talk about on our next streaming
episode because this one needs to get wrapped up.
I'm trying to keep these things, the streaming episodes to about 20 minutes or less and
we're almost right on that mark right now.
Again, if you want to see this streaming calendar, which I worked very hard on throughout
the year, it took me until the midpoint basically to finish doing it and color coding it
and all that stuff.
It's in the show description.
It is very helpful as you're plotting it out, very helpful because you can put it side
