A sip and a sniffle here on Old Man Squad Fantasy Basketball presented by FanDuel.
I'm still Dan Vespers.
YouTubers, you think this part is very silly, but I have to do it because RSS feed folks.
This is a brand new episode and I have them dropping like 45 minutes apart on the feed so that people don't think only one show drop.
They have to notice that there are two.
This is streaming time.
This is the Thursday Friday streaming guide.
Again, I'm going to try to do one of these every single day when I can.
Saturdays are the hardest ones for me because we have little league stuff basically the entire day.
So what I might do.
I mean, here's the thing.
It's one of the benefits of doing it to a day format is that on tomorrow on Friday, I'll do a show where I talk about Friday and Saturday.
And that way you'll have the Saturday streaming guide, even if I don't have a chance to do that Saturday streaming show.
I'll do my best, but I don't think I'm going to be able to get it out before you guys have to set your lineups.
Like best case would be mid afternoon and that crap is too late.
So expect a Friday double dip show tomorrow.
Probably no streaming show on Saturday.
They will get right back into it on Sunday.
We'll talk about Sunday stuff and then roll into playoff week number two.
But let's get to let's get down to brass tax here.
We have streaming to talk about.
Here's the streaming calendar.
Put it on the screen. There it is.
And today is the fifth today's Thursday.
So we're looking at Thursday.
Zoom in a little bit here.
And as we talked about on yesterday's show, this is a pivotal day.
Thursday is a big day because three teams, which I realize it's only 10% of the league.
But odds are you have somebody on one of these three teams.
You might not, but odds are you do.
And the three teams in discussion today, who move from a good schedule to a bad.
Our Memphis is highlighted on your screen right here.
Oklahoma City and Philadelphia.
There are other teams that had bad schedule and Atlanta.
Sorry, that's the next one.
There are other teams that had bad schedules going.
But those four are the ones where today becomes your critical day.
The thing about Atlanta, and the reason I didn't highlight it a ton yesterday,
is that you probably should have gotten off of your hawk streamers on Monday anyway.
But let's say you did something dumb and you held on to Zachary Reese's Shay through Wednesday.
You have another opportunity to abandon ship because the Hawks not only only have one game the rest of this week,
they have one game over five days.
They don't even play on Monday.
At least Memphis goes into a good schedule after this bad one.
Okay, see plays on Monday, even if their schedule is not that great.
Philly goes into a really good schedule after this little downturn.
Which is something I want you guys to keep in mind as we're plotting this out.
If you are in the driver's seat in your head to head matchup.
Let's say that you're up, you know, six to three.
And you have more games left than your opponent.
You could sit on a grizzly or 76er.
We talked a bunch on our recap show about how valuable a Dem Bona is right now with him moving into the starting five.
If you can have Bona for four games and five days to start next or sorry, the six or five games over seven days.
What about the grizzlies?
We just talked about how they played their guys 30 minutes in the game against Portland on Wednesday.
If you can get like a Jalen Wells or a GG Jackson or an Olivier Maxson's prosper or whatever for that four games and five days start to next week.
Boy, that's a, that's a massive advantage because somebody's going to drop grizzlies right now because their schedule turns crappy.
And they're probably in a dog fight.
If you can hang on.
The day is yours alternatively.
You could stay up until 12 o'clock and try to pick up a bunch of grizzlies first thing next week, but you know, this is the easier way.
However, if you're fighting it out in a playoff week, that's basically what this podcast are for.
If you're not like you should be looking at March 9th.
We'll do that over the weekend.
If you're fighting it out, which I am, and I'm guessing most of you guys are, those four teams, I just mentioned the hawks who you should have already unloaded because they had a bad schedule this week.
So please, the thunder and the 76ers are the teams to move off of players that you're going to want to move off of on those teams.
Hawks is a really easy one.
They have main guys that you should hold on to.
If you can, including Camingo, by the way, who now is probably going to get you a one or a zero game week.
So that, that sucks.
In fact, you might have to drop him.
You might have to drop Camingo.
If things are going poorly for you this week.
Otherwise, you're going to hold McCallum, JJ Walker, Alexander Walker.
Dice Daniels of Kong Wu, etc. Those guys are all holes. Everybody else is a drop.
For Memphis.
It's got a lot harder now that they suddenly played guys a few extra minutes.
Gigi Jackson is probably the only guy that I'm saying you definitely must hold on to through this for that because like.
You're not going to do much better than four games in him in five days to start next week.
The grizzly schedule is so good to start next week that I would tell you to almost hold as many as you can.
But also, be willing to drop as many as you want.
So, Javan Small, you can drop, tight Jerome, you can drop, said you're coward.
You probably dropped these guys before yesterday's game because they all sat it out.
And they had three guys sit yesterday's game and that's why dudes played 30 minutes.
Jalen Wells should be a drop.
He's been playing well.
Olivia Maxx is prosperous a drop.
Cam Spencer, Ryan Rupert Taylor, Hendrix, Walter Clayton.
You drop all these guys.
Scotty Pippin Jr.
Drop him all for one game over four days.
There's not one of these guys where I'm like, yes, you must.
This is a, you know, top 50 guy.
The hard part again is how next week starts you're going to have to figure out can I make it.
Same story with the 76ers.
You got to figure out can I make it because they have a great schedule next week and you're going to want these guys.
Kelly Ubrey probably should have been dropped when he got ruled out for the back to back.
I love him right now.
Gamescapped league.
I pick him up everywhere.
But in a head to head league and try to wait pick him up on Saturday.
Drummond dropped your bar.
You walk or Quinton Grimes, Dominic Barlow, Trenton Watford, Justin Edwards, drop him all.
Maxi and Bede Edgecomb, the only ones that you must hold on to.
As you wait for next week and even in Bede, you don't have to hold on to if you can't stash him and he's going to miss another two weeks.
Try to stash him because he's been really, really good when he's been healthy lately.
But I might not play in your playoffs.
Flip side of all this is the guys you get to pick up and that's kind of a fun thing.
And again, like the main thing we talked about on yesterday's show was these are mostly the same teams that we discussed as possible pickups on Tuesday with like one, maybe two exceptions.
Remember on Tuesday, I was like, hey, look, let's look at the teams out of four games over the remaining schedule this week.
It was Charlotte. Now you don't want to pick them up because they ran their back to back already.
Dallas was a team on Tuesday.
They're still a team you can use today. Detroit was a team on Tuesday.
Still use them today. Houston is the new one.
They were not a Tuesday pick up, but they start a five game and seven day run now.
But they don't have any streamers.
So that one down the toilet. Lakers. That was a Tuesday.
Still good today. Miami. Same thing.
New Orleans. Same thing. New York much like Charlotte was better on Tuesday.
And actually will be better again tomorrow, but we'll get to that when we get to the tomorrow part of the schedule.
Phoenix was good on Tuesday. Same with San Antonio.
Those two teams are both still good to do pickups on today.

Who are the possible ads on the teams I mentioned?
Let's just go through them one by one, because I do think this is a pretty critical day.
Dallas might be your stopping point here.
Brand Williams got downgraded to questionable, which would mean that Ryan Nemhart might get all the point guard minutes.
I don't know if this brand of Williams thing is because it's a back to back or because for some other reason, but with not you Marshall coming back and Clay Thompson coming back.
Dallas suddenly has a handful of guys that you could stream for three games over four days, PJ Washington, Daniel Gafford.
I don't know if Chris Middleton's going to play the back to back, but if you think he does, he would be streamable for three out of four.
And Williams, you're not doing it unless he gets ruled in Marshall, even freaking Dwight Powell.
Gross, but he'd be my last choice. Max Christie, Clay Thompson, Caleb Martin would also kind of be down at the bottom of my, my totem pole.
But again, with Nemhart, if you think he's going to get an extra four or five minutes, let's say brand of Marshall or brand of Marshall football player.
Brand Williams is out.
And Nemhart, like he'll get you 9.67 assists if he gets closer to starters minutes and a couple of steals.
So maybe more of a specialist type, but Dallas definitely has some streaming options.
Detroit, not many Duncan Robinson and Isaiah Stewart are probably the two.
Robinson for threes, Stewart for blocks, very specialisty on Detroit.
Houston.
Oh, I forgot to switch over to this page. There's Detroit.
There's Stewart. There's Robinson.
You're looking at the guys that are playing 20 some odd minutes or more that aren't universally rostered.
Dallas, if you flip back here, so you guys can see it. There's Gafford, PJ Middleton, Williams questionable.
You can see quad contusion, Marshall Powell, Clay, Max on down the board here on YouTube. Now you guys can see them all.
The next team that had a better schedule here was Houston. They have no streamers.
So the hell with that Lakers have a few Marcus smart is the one that's been playing the best lately among stream level guys.
He did play in the Lakers last back to back.
Believe that was February 28th and March 1st.
So a little bit more confidence there.
He's both playable for big man stats, Luke Connard playable for efficient threes.
Laravia and Rui would be the next teardown. I would try not to go that far if at all possible.
Miami, who's on your wire is probably going to dictate whether or not there's anybody on the heat you can stream.
Possibilities would be Davie on Mitchell. If you need some assists.
Pellie Larson, if you need more of a well roundedness.
Jaime Akesh would have already been picked up for streaming when Norman Powell went down.
Kasperus Yakuchonis is another one, but he's again kind of one tier farther down the board.
New Orleans, they're mostly healthy these days. Dejante Murray is going to sit out one half of their back to back, which frees things up a little bit.
I think the trade Murphy and Zion are both questionable for the front end of this back to back against Sacramento.
That would open up some streaming stuff.
So, uh, Carlo Matkovich would probably be streamable if all of those guys sit.
Jordan Poole would be streamable if all those guys sit.
Derek Queen, Jeremiah Fures would both be much better if all of those guys sit.
I just don't think it's going to be like they have three games and four nights.
You might get one good game out of some of those streamers.
I would probably try to look elsewhere if possible.
The one of the surprise, uh, Orlando, that would be Tristan De Silva, because window Carter juniors a game time call.
So I wouldn't recommend gogabatadze knowing that Carter juniors probably back by the end of the week.
So it's really Tristan De Silva is the only option Orlando Phoenix.
I didn't flex.
I didn't put Orlando on the board because they're boring.
Phoenix streamers.
Let's see.
Alan Gillespie are on roster.
Same with Booker.
Oh, so a guitar or Roy Soniel.
Probably the two streamers you'd look at on the Phoenix side.
And then the spurs who we've talked about a thousand times.
They're just a streamer.
Streamers littered everywhere on San Antonio.
You name them.
I'll stream them.
Devon Vassel, Julian Champenny, Dylan Harper.
Maybe Luke Ornette probably not.
Harrison Barnes is out.
So Keldin Johnson, streamable.
Yeah, I got a bunch of options on San Antonio.
So you got some really good ones.
Try to figure out what categories you're hunting.
And go that direction.
Okay.
That's the main thing.
You got to go category hunting.
So that's Thursday.
Let's talk a little bit about Friday before we wrap things up.
I want to give you guys the look ahead.
Friday is one where.
You know, you're not going to be able to get more than one bonus game.
Because everybody in the entire NBA plays one game or more between Friday and Sunday.
There's not one team that's off the entire time.
And the most games you're going to see is two.
So the best you're going to go is to go from one game to two on Friday.
So if you're making a move tomorrow on Friday.
Try to make sure it's one that also sets you up for a good start to week.
The semi final week round two of your fantasy playoffs.
So you know, look for a team that has two games the rest of this week.
But also plays on Monday.
And you can see here on the board.
Like none of the teams that I'm showing you right now actually fit that description.
The clippers are one of them.
And we've talked a lot about clipper streamers Derek Jones Jr.
I think a lot of clippers going to sit out this game on Saturday at Memphis.
It's the last game of five games and seven nights.
Kauai Garland.
Who else might sit it out?
Brooke Lopez might sit it out.
So the clippers are a really interesting team because you're going to get like a clunker game against the spurs.
But you're going to probably get a big one from your streamers here.
But then you can at least hold them.
You can hold them through Saturday of the following week.
If you want, clippers have a great schedule.
But it does set you up at least in a good spot to start the week.
New York is another one we talked about them back on Tuesday.
Landry Shamets kind of the only streamer on the nicks.
And that's it.
So the clippers and the nicks are the only two teams.
That you would that are sort of like the preferred clubs on Friday.
And who are the abandoned ship teams on Friday.
I mean, the one that I would point out would be the wizards because you probably picked up some.
Some rather crappy stream level guys for the Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, start to the week where you're like, I don't really need frickin trade Johnson anymore.
So you move off of him.
The wizards have a bad schedule next week also.
So no matter what you do there, you're probably getting some sort of improvement.
And you don't have to pick up somebody that has a great start to next week.
Because again, clippers really are the only club that's giving you decent options.
You could always just pick up somebody that goes, you know, back to back Friday Saturday or Friday Sunday or whatever and get that extra one game.
But maybe you get an extra one game from a streamer that's better than the guy you dropped.
The reason that I'm not highlighting many other teams here is because.
Like almost everybody else in the NBA, there's no reason for you to be done with them after Thursday.
If because like Chicago's another team that had that just plays on Sunday after playing on Thursday, but Chicago wasn't a team you should have been picking up streamers on anyway.
You should have probably done something earlier in the weekend at this point.
If you have a bull, you want to hold through like you could hold through Friday of next week and you still be okay.
And what are you going to do like trade Jones, I guess, would maybe be dropable in there.
But you're probably going to try to stick it out with that particular club and everybody else you've already abandoned ship on.
So Friday should be a low move day is basically the main point here.
And the wizards being the one club that you might have pivoted into where you might not normally have had a player on that team.
And now you have a chance to get off of them because their schedule turns sour.
But again, if you look at the other teams that only have one game the rest of the week Atlanta, the game is on Saturday.
So you might as well just hold them and make a move on Sunday.
You're going to get the one extra game.
You shouldn't have had the hawk anyway. We've been talking about them the entire week.
But you can make the move on Sunday.
Cleveland, you made the move on Wednesday.
Denver plays on Friday. So you make the move after Friday.
Golden State plays on Saturday. But then they have a back to back to start next week.
So you're probably just going to try to hold them through that.
Few things are as uplifting as the greatest moments in sports.
And nothing brings us together quite like team USA at the Olympic winter games.

I'll go down the board one by one.
Same thing, Memphis.
If you didn't drop them today, Thursday,
you're sure as crap not dropping them tomorrow.
Minnesota?
They don't have any stream level guys anyway.
If they do, I guess I would assume with stream level,
you can pick them up.
There's a bad schedule week.
If you want to pick up IO, you're doing it next Tuesday.
Okay, see, we already talked about them as a Thursday move.
Philly, that was a Thursday move.
Sacramento?
What are you doing?
Streaming kings.
Nick Clifford.
Pressures to a maximum.
I know.
De Marta Rosen.
You just hold those guys.
They have a four game week next week.
You're not dropping them Friday to get one extra game.
They're not bad enough.
Toronto.
You shouldn't have picked up any streamers there anyway.
Anybody that you have on the Raptors,
that you're playing, you're just going to keep playing them.
So it's really, and Utah also a one game of the rest of the week,
but you can make that move on Sunday.
So again, really the only team where you probably don't,
where you might roster someone who's not
better than a low level stream is Washington.
That's tomorrow.
So Friday, get off of your wizard.
Go to anybody that has two games left the rest of this week.
Clippers will be preferred because they have a good start to next week.
But Boston, Charlotte, Dallas,
who we've already talked about, Detroit, Houston, Indiana,
the Clippers, the Lakers, Miami, Milwaukee.
Milwaukee's got that back to back, which is kind of interesting.
New Orleans, New York, Orlando, also weekend, back to back.
Phoenix, Portland, San Antonio, all those teams play two times.
I'm not going to go through 15 teams and what the streamers are.
You can pick anybody that fits your mold.
Best you want to do is try to wait as long as you can.
That way you're making sure you're getting the right categories
with your stream.
But again, Friday is really just a day to do stuff
with Washington Wizards that suck.
Hold through their game tonight.
Drop them first thing Friday morning because they're all terrible.
Otherwise, you're making a movie there Saturday or Sunday.
Saturday, if you have a player that doesn't go over the weekend,
which is Denver streamer, they don't play over the weekend.
They're the only one.
They're the only one.
Or if you have somebody that has one game over the weekend
and you think you can find a better streamer that goes twice on Milwaukee,
Detroit or Orlando, those are the three teams that have the weekend back to back.
That'd be your Saturday move.
Sunday is just do you have a move left on one of your guys that isn't playing on Sunday?
Can't do I need to get more stats?
Or is Sunday a day where you're like, well, I'm in pretty good shape.
I don't think I'm going to lose this week.
I'm going to pick up somebody that rolls out of the gate hard next week on Memphis
or Brooklyn or Philly.
Those are the teams that get off the best schedule in semi-final.
Playoff week number two.
And I'll do it.
