Saturday night in the NBA, 6 games to work through.
We had some good wins.
We had a really good one between the 6s and the hornets.
Who would have thought we'd be saying that at the start of the year?
Some comfortable wins as well.
No real surprises as I skim over the box scores here.
Yeah, no real surprises.
Some good performances though.
The return of Tyres Maxi.
Of course, let's get into it all.

As always, I haven't asked for a while what do go and download the audio versions of
this as well, even if you are watching along on YouTube.
Let's get straight into it.
Only 6 games, so hopefully we won't be too long.
And the first game, it wasn't early one.
We recorded the Q&A show about half time in this game.
As kind of projected, I thought the spurs would win relatively comfortable.
The bucks today credit actually sort of stuck with them midway through the third quarter.
It was down to about 12 points.
But predictably, the spurs run away with it, which did limit the starters a little bit.
Interestingly, D'Aaron Fox, who was coming off a missed game.
Only 21 minutes for him, the 12 and 6 with a steal is fine.
But yeah, just something to keep an eye on there with the limited minutes.
When be 23, 15, 6, 2 steals, 1 block, only 31 minutes and only 7 of 21 from the field.
So certainly the percentage is a bit of an issue.
The minutes were down, as I said, it was just a relatively comfortable win.
But still a good performance.
11 points for Champagne.
He is just a three point streamer and Devon Vassel.
16 points for him with three steals and a block.
You sort of stream him while he's hot.
When he calls off, you move on.
That's fine.
Stefan Castle had 22 points in his 29 minutes.
Also had 10 rebounds and 10 assists to get himself a rare triple double.
Off the bench, Kelton Johnson, 16 points, just a streamer, nothing more.
Dylan Harper had 14 points with two assists in 21 minutes.
He's not doing enough to be rostred.
If Fox misses another game here at some point, you probably pick Harper up.
But in 20, 21 minutes, yeah, really not enough to rost him.
For the Bucks, we know that they don't really care at this point.
Or maybe they do.
They're just not very good.
Osman Jiang, four steals is handy.
12 points on five and 14 shooting is not great.
The five assists, he's fine to rostre.
There's other players I'd rather have over him,
but it does appear that these minutes are here to stay.
So a 36 of them, if you are wondering.
Pete Nance had five points.
Yeah, not interested.
Miles Turner, 15 and six with two blocks.
Actually a really good game.
It's given how poor he's being this season.
Gary Trent, 18 points for him with two steals, two threes.
You can stream him.
Kevin Porter, Jr. is done for the season.
So there might be a little bit of value for these guys,
like Gary Trent and AJ Green.
But only to the point of streaming, not holding.
Ryan Rollins, not his best game, only 25 minutes, 12 points for assists.
He did have a steal on a block.
Just couldn't get it going.
He was O of seven from three, but obviously he is a clear,
a must-roster player.
And yeah, no Bobby Portis in this one.
He'll come back.
He'll obviously take some minutes here away from Pete Nance.
Karl Kuzman might come back at some point as well.
I'm not sold on the idea of him coming back, but we'll see.
But for now, you trust, well, probably Turner,
as long as he's healthy and Usman Dying.
Ryan Rollins, of course, beyond that.
It's just stream as required.
The second game of the night, the pistons,
despite having no Cade fairly comfortable win over the timber
walls, who were themselves without a number of players.
We'll start with Detroit, though.
Dennis Jenkins continues to play well.
He didn't shoot the ball, particularly well here,
but 13, 8 and 4 in 28 minutes.
A very clear, must-roster player.
Duncan Robinson is not streaming for threes
and then move on.
Jalen Durant, 10 and 13 with a block.
Probably he's worse game in a little while,
but he didn't need to do a lot here against this wall's team.
Tobias Harris, 18, 4 and 4, three blocks in a steal.
He's best game in a month, maybe.
I do think he is a rosterable player.
If he misses more than one game, you probably drop.
But at the moment, it's just a few absences here and there.
Sar Thompson, four steals, six rebounds.
That's not terrible.
If that's why you're holding him, obviously,
if you need points, threes, free throws,
you don't worry about him, but if you need rebounds
and defensive stats, steals in particular, he is OK to hold.
Off the bench, Kevin Herder, 11 points, nothing to see there,
really.
Same goes for Ron Holland.
They all got a couple extra minutes here.
They were playing well down the stretch,
so they got a bit more run.
Duncan Robinson, I don't think he even played in the fourth quarter.
They just went with Holland and Paul Reed
in these guys, but I'm not running out
and adding them after this one performance.
For the Timberwolves, they were without, of course, Anthony Edwoods.
Jayden McDaniels was also ruled out.
So we had Terence Shannon in the starting lineup.
And he predictably did nothing.
I had just some mood also still out there.
So we're not rostering Shannon Julius Randall, two of 13
from the field for 11 points.
After that red hot start to the season,
he has obviously cooled off.
We're rostering him, but some of these performances
have been less than ideal.
Rudy Gover had 14 and 12 with a block.
Dante Divenchins are actually shot
the ball relatively well to start this game,
cooled off late, 22 points, 7 of 18, 5 of 14 from 3,
and he had a couple of blocks as well.
So one of these better games, Mike Conley or whatever.
I don't, it's pretty desks, but when you're running whatever
version of Mike Conley, this is out on the field, on the court.
Bones Highland, six points, two steals.
We don't need to be rostering him.
I think Anthony Edwoods is edging towards a return.
I don't think McDaniels is going to miss too much time.
And just to move could also be back in the next game.
So Bones Highland, if you are rostering him,
you are certainly able to move on.
And I think the same goes for Nas Reed, eight points,
four rebounds, two steals.
I'm probably one of the lower analysts on,
when it comes to Nas Reed, three of 15 shooting.
He'll obviously be better than this.
But I just think his role is so limited.
We're not so limited, it's limited.
And often, just not a lot of defensive,
he's sort of a points and somewhat rebounds guy,
but beyond that, yeah, I'm not, he doesn't excite me.
Put it that way.
All right, best game of the night.
The sixes, they get the win over the Hornets.
Hornets actually led this one for the majority of the game.
And you can see there, if you're watching along the breakdown
of quarter by quarter, the sixes won the final quarter,
26 to 17.
So came over the top one by four.
For the sixes, Joel and Bied returned.
Tyree, well, no, he didn't return.
He was back.
Tyree's Maxi returned and Bied was active.
Quite a lot here to break down.
So very good performances from Paul George,
Joel and Bied and Tyree's Maxi.
That's great to see.

The schedule obviously wasn't very favorable this week.
If you have Paul George, I would probably hold now.
Joel and B, 29, 6 and 2 with two blocks.
And Tyrese Maxi, 26.7 rebounds,
8 assists are still in a block
and 43 minutes in his return.
So I think someone asked me,
I don't know if it was this morning or maybe yesterday
about whether there would be some sort of a restriction here.
I said probably not, but I certainly wasn't expecting
43 minutes.
So if you've got him, you feel good about yourself.
If he hasn't been picked up yet,
he probably has, but if for whatever reason
he is still available, make sure you go and add him.
VJ Edge, come with all of those guys back.
Not his worst game, 13, 5 and 3 in 31 minutes.
Obviously he's had a nice run here.
I would still be rostring him because the role is there,
but with all of these players healthy,
he just doesn't need to do as much.
He goes from being option kind of one or two
to option three or four on most instances.
And Quentin Grimes, I think we can move on from him as well.
Eight points for him in 29 minutes.
Those minutes are still encouraging,
but yeah, I probably not enough for him to be a hold.
Kelly Ubrei, he was back nine and five in his 28 minutes
and much like Grimes, I think he is just a borderline fringe guy.
Unless he does end up moving back into the starting line up
ahead of Dominic Barlow,
but I think they'll stick with Barlow at the moment.
He's a much better defensive presence than Kelly Ubrei.
For the Hornets, obviously they've been winning a lot of games.
So this was a tough one, but they still played well.
So 29 points for Brandon Miller.
Not much else.
Eight rebounds, zero assists, zero steals, zero blocks,
but the points are nice.
Lamello Ball had 20 points with eight assists and a steal.
So all their guys did their thing here.
Conk and Nepal shot the ball terribly, three of 14,
but he had 11 and 11 with two assists.
Miles Bridges, no need to be holding on to him, 11 and six.
Musadea Bhada, excuse me, 10 and 11.
With a steal, I would be holding him
because Ryan Kaupren is certainly not coming for his minutes.
Kaupren had four points with a block in 18 minutes off the bench.
Now, obviously this was against JLNB,
so you sort of factor that in when looking at these performances.
Kobe White had 16 points off the bench.
You stream him points and threes.
He's been scoring the ball quite well,
but he's just not playing enough to be held 18,
sorry, 19 minutes for him.
All right, the Hawks, 123, 113 over the Kings as expected.
It was probably a little close for comfort for the Hawks,
but they do get the win.
Let's start with Sacramento, Demada Rosen.
One of his, he's very up and down.
This was Goudish, 22 points, five rebounds, three assists.
So not terrible, but not great.
Prases to Chua had 16 and six with two steals.
And Maxine Reno, 18 and 10 with a steal.
So they're all must-roster players.
Devon Carter, despite this performance,
I think is a must-roster player,
two points, two rebounds in 18 minutes.
He just didn't play well.
I'm barely certain he didn't pick up an injury.
I don't think I saw.
Let's have a look.
Do you just want to confirm that?
But I don't recall him...
Giving it an injury.
Let's have a look at the box scores on this page.
Sacramento, where are we?
No, no, no injury for Devon Carter.
I just wanted to double check that.
So just a really poor performance,
but I would continue to hold him.
10, 2 and 7 for Malik Monk.
Also a must-roster player.
Dayquan Plowden, 14 points.
He's really just a points guy.
I think you can hold him,
but don't expect defensive stats
or elite rebounding or anything like that.
Nick Clifford returned three, four and five in 23 minutes.
I am expecting him to bump up to 30 to 32 minutes.
This was his first game back.
So if you've got him,
obviously you could stream for tomorrow,
but if you can hold him, I probably would.
Dylan Cardwell had seven rebounds in 19 minutes.
He is just a streamer for rebounds and blocks for the Hawks.
We had no Onyka Kongwu, possibly out just due to the matchup.
Joc Landau, 19, 13 and four with two blocks
for nominal performance.
If you streamed him in well done,
but obviously we don't need to hold him beyond this game
unless a Kongwu is determined to be out again.
Mohammed Gaye had 10 and seven.
I'm not worried about him, Jalen Johnson, 26, 5 and 10.
And McKeele Alexander Walker, another really good game,
27, 5 and 8 with four steals.
CJ McCollummy just continues to sort of be
a 20 point per game scorer with not much else.
Five assists is okay.
Couple of threes, shot the ball well.
So we hold him.
There was no dice and Daniels in this one, of course.
So I think CJ fine, but doesn't have a lot of upside.
And as we said in their last game,
which was the night before I believe,
we don't need to worry about anyone on the bench.
So I am not going to worry about anyone on the bench.
The balls, a bad loss of good loss.
I don't know, the Grizzlies are a good win, a bad win.
I don't also don't know, 125 to 124.
For the balls, Mattis Buzellis, 29 and 10,
three blocks in a steal.
He's been really good over this last month, two months.
This is what we thought he would do this season.
It just took a while to get there.
Tray Jones had 19, nine and six with two steals
while Josh Gidey, another triple double, 18, 13 and 10.
Two steals, three blocks.
Really good performance from Josh Gidey.
Leonard Miller started at Sender
and was absolutely woeful, five and four with a steal.
I would continue to hold him.
I'm encouraged that they started him at Sender here.
He just failed to do anything.
They don't really have a center,
Locky Ulbrich actually played a bit of Sender here.
He had eight and seven, not running to add him.
Nick Richards could be back in the next game.
He is someone you could stream in if he returns,
if you need rebounds and blocks.
Colin Sexton, 26 points off the bench,
two steals, three threes.
He's been playing well.
Obviously, if we get guys returning,
Anthony Simons could come back at some point
that will hurt Sexton and he's not gonna play 30 minutes
every night, they just went small here,
ran without a center for periods of time.
So it was a really good performance.
If you had him on your roster, congratulations.
If you wanna hold him and just see if this role can stick,
go ahead, but I also don't mind streaming his position.
For the Grizzlies, good luck projecting this rotation.
Rian Rupiah played 30 minutes, GG Jackson, 21,
OMAX, Prosper played 15 minutes as the starting center,
Cedric Coward, 24 minutes, Javon Small, 15 minutes.
This is why we're avoiding Memphis.
Look, the production was fine.
Cedric Coward was really good in his 24 minutes,
24 points, nine rebounds, four assists and four steals.
Do we expect that in the next game?
No, he was against a ball's team
that doesn't really play defense.
OMAX had 12-4, 12-4 with a steal, fine.
Javon Small, three steals, six points in his 15 minutes.
I mean, you extrapolate that to 30 minutes
and you get 12 points with maybe five steals and seven assists.
That's a great line.
But 15 minutes is not enough of Javon Small.
Walter Clayton played 30 minutes off the bench,
had six assists and two steals.
Demima Shaq, 17 minutes, 30 minutes.
Sorry, 17 points in 30 minutes,
but next game might be 12 minutes.
We have no idea.
So honestly, I don't know who I can trust here.
I do think Javon Small is at least going to play every game.
So maybe that's a level of trust.
OMAX, the same goes for him.
Repair, I'm not convinced.
GG Jackson, Shaw, Cedric Coward,
he's probably the best per minute
or arguably the best per minute guy here,
but again, this was against the ball.
So you stream, but you really need to wait for,
who's available and then cross your fingers
and hope that whoever you do stream
in plays more than 15 minutes, apparently.
The final game of the night, the suns,
they get the win.
This was pretty comfortable, 134-109 over the jazz.
So the minutes were sort of spread out here a bit.
Bryce Sensorbar actually played a big role.
He was shooting the ball well,
so they left him on there, 33 minutes for him.
26 points, nothing else.
Two rebounds to assist,
but he did have, as I said, those 26 points
on 11 of 21 shooting.
Kyle Filipowski, good to see the minutes bouncing
or bumping back up to 29.
26 points for him, 9 rebounds to Steele's Cody Williams.
This is the Cody Williams we had all season up until a month ago.
Zero points on O of 9 shooting.
He had a steal and a block.
He probably a hold because I think he's gonna continue
to start and play big minutes.
They don't care if he plays like this
because they want to lose.
So he will almost certainly be better than this,
but those big blowout games we were getting
were obviously not to be expected.
Ice Bayley had 13, six and two with three blocks.
The shooting has cooled off a little bit,
but good to see him getting those peripherals that's up.
And E.J. Harclist, if you streamed him in
for assists and steals,
we talked about him being a bit of a specialist
who kills your percentages.

It's later.
Hey, girl, what's happening?
Is that your anti-perspirant?
Oh, yeah.
Let me see that can.
Illuminum butane.
It's too, too.
I cannot pronounce that.
You have to switch to native deodorant.
Native simple formula has only clean ingredients.
It gives you effective 72-hour odor protection
with no hydrocarbon propellants.
Wow, this smells heavenly.
Clean effective 72-hour odor protection isn't a myth.
It's later.
His free throws were fine, two of two,
but one of six from the field.
So he does hurt those, the field goal percentage.
Kennedy Chandler had 11 and eight in 24 minutes.
Probably okay, holding him, conscious.
I would view him only as a streamer.
He had a steal with five assists.
Oscar Shebae, seven rebounds in 16 minutes.
You can stream him for rebounds.
That's about it.
And honestly, I don't really trust anyone else
on that roster for the suns.
Jalen Green had 31 points, not a lot else,
but good to see him shooting the ball well.
Royce O'Neill, six points.
So he had that, what was his last game?
Like 17 and six with two blocks and a steal or something.
Six points, three rebounds to assist.
This is the Royce O'Neill journey that you go on
if you roster him, he's very up and down.
Yigidaro had 13, eight and two.
Again, a favorable matchup for him.
It does sound like Mark Williams and Dylan Brooks
could be very close to returning.
They are scrimmaging with the team.
So I would expect them back in the next one to game.
So Yigidaro, you can probably move on from him.
Devon Booker had 26, three and eight in 27 minutes.
And Colin Gillespie failed to score
over eight from the field.
He is really cooled off of late.
I know he's had a good season.
I'm okay moving on from him,
especially if we were that Dylan Brooks
is going to return in the next game.
Jordan Goodwin had eight and nine with two steals off the bench.
Again, a good streamer at the moment,
but one still in Brooks is back.
He probably goes back to playing 15 minutes or night.
And Grace and Alan, he, look, he shot the ball well here
from three.
He's first three, I think four of 11 in the end
with nine for 19 points with two steals.
I would probably think that he is going to play more minutes
than Jordan Goodwin once done, sorry, not done once.
Brooks is back.
Grace and Alan is also working his way back off injury.
So probably somewhat of a minute's restriction here
given the blowout.
Come and Mallowuch had 12 points with nine rebounds
and three blocks.
That's a great performance,
but if Mark Williams returns,
he goes probably out of the rotation
with Iguidaro moving to the back up role.
And that's it, six games, 21 minutes.
We got there nice and quick today.
I think that's it.
Time to get out of here.
We'll be back tomorrow morning.
Well, wherever you are, there will be a pregame show tomorrow.
It will be, let me check the game times.

We'll be recording the Q&A show.
