Let's take a look at Sunday. There are nine games on in the NBA. Who are the stream options
0:05
to hopefully win our fantasy basketball week, Michael Bolton?
0:08
Thanks, Josh. It's Michael Bolton here, and it's time for another episode of the Lockdown
0:13
Fantasy Basketball Podcast. Let's get to it.
0:17
Let's get to it. In day.
0:20
You are Lockdown Fantasy, your daily NBA fantasy podcast. Part of the Lockdown Podcast
0:26
network, your team, every day.
0:30
Hello, and welcome to the Lockdown Fantasy Basketball Podcast, brought to you by basketball
0:35
monster. My name is Josh Floyd. My nickname is also Josh Floyd. We're here to talk about
0:39
the games on Sunday. There are nine of those games on, and we're going to dig into them.
0:44
We're going to talk about who's in and out the injury reports, the streaming options,
0:47
points leagues, category leagues. Shall we dig in probably? There are nine games. It's
0:52
a relatively busy Sunday in the NBA, and of course, there's going to be a lot of uncertainty.
0:56
There is more uncertainty at this time of the year than there is at the same time last
1:00
week, and hence why I believe that fantasy leagues should have ended on what the 23rd of March
1:05
or whatever it was, at least a week ago. People will still just play in this semifinals
1:09
now, because you're going to see a lot more stuff with, yes, you have tanking stuff that
1:13
happens and random sits, but what you start to get at this point of the year is good teams
1:17
and better teams start to sit more guys as well. So you've got teams that sit in a spot
1:22
where they go, well, two games ahead and two games behind. I can't really move my guys
1:25
a little banged up. So we'll see these sort of teams start to create more of those issues
1:31
and foots off the gas more in other games. It becomes worse in terms of reliability. As
1:37
you get, because it makes sense, as you get closer than the regular season where the
1:40
games don't matter as much for most teams, you see that stuff change. That is just the
1:47
nature of how anything works common sense wise. Nine games. First game is a 330 PM Eastern
1:54
start. It is the Clippers and the Bucks. The next game is a 5 PM Eastern start, the Heat
2:00
and the Paces. Then we go into a 6 PM Eastern game, or a lot of them actually, Washington
2:06
of Portland, Boston of Charlotte, Sacramento of Brooklyn, Yuck, Orlando at Toronto. Then
2:13
we have the 7 PM game, which is the Rockets and the Pelicans. We have the 730 PM game,
2:17
which is the Nix and the Thunder. And finally, we have the 7 PM Pacific game, which is actually
2:21
a 6 PM mountain time. Is it a 6 mountain? Yeah, 6 mountain. 6 mountain. And that is Golden
2:29
State at Denver. I find it always interesting that in the NBA on Sundays, like the standard
2:34
start time is 7 PM, nearly every day. But on Sundays, the standard time for starting
2:38
in Newlywesse means to be 6 PM, for whatever reason, not sure. Sure, someone will give
2:43
me some great reason for it. It's cause of your Monday start of the week. Big calendars
2:46
got you by the way. But that doesn't make sense considering the, you know, I suppose
2:49
it sort of does because you don't have work on Sunday and you come and you can get to
2:53
the game earlier and you get to bed a little bit earlier to wake up from Monday, but the
2:56
game is during the week. You've got to be at work and get, you know, 6 PM starts are a
3:00
general standard. It seems on Sundays. Let's talk about the games. The first one, the
3:06
Clippers and the Bucks, bro. The Bucks are just absolutely horrible at the moment. I
3:09
don't know if the people are going to say they're just tanking. They're just actually
3:12
terrible. Like, yes, sure, they could bring Janus back. But that's like, that is not,
3:17
also Janus not actually cleared to play. That's not tanking. He's been injured multiple times
3:23
with multiple injuries to his lower body. They're eliminated from the playoffs. They can't
3:27
make it. Kevin Porter, Jr. is now ruled out for the season. They're not tanking. They're
3:32
just doc rivers team. And you could say they're the same things by hiring doc rivers, but they're
3:37
just terrible. And they got cooked every game. Injury wise, Janus is out. What we don't know
3:44
is whether Kyle Kuzma or Bobby Portis or Gary Harris plays because they both are out on Saturday.
3:48
They're all out on Saturday. And that obviously changes a lot in terms of how the rotation runs.
3:52
For the Clippers, Isaiah Jackson heard himself for the end of last game. He is questionable here.
3:56
He's been playing really well. But if he misses, it means Brook Lopez is going to have to do a lot
4:00
and play probably 33-34 minutes, which will be obviously beneficial for him. Heat and the
4:05
Pacers, I don't really know what Indiana was doing last game. Jalen Slawson's been really good
4:09
as a win. He's got these limits on his two-way games. And last game, they're premium for four
4:13
minutes, burning one of those games. Now, he is officially listed doubtful for this game.
4:18
So after this, it is full steam ahead for Slawson in terms of playing the rest of the season.
4:23
And you're starting to see it here. Yeah, Miami's not a particularly bad team. That's a super
4:28
good team. But Teeja McConnell, Andrew Nampard, Aaron Neesmith, Pascal Siakum, Obi-Toppen,
4:32
the National Tile Jarrah Swalker. Hello! All questionable.
4:38
Indiana has tanked a lot this season. Obviously, not as bad as what it's
4:43
made out to be. But I think we're going to see some real nonsense going on here.
4:47
I wouldn't preemptively drop Siakum on Nampard. But I do think that, again, listing them all
4:52
questionable here is a pretty decent indicator, I believe, that we're going to get a lot of this
5:02
on the weeks moving forward. For the heat, Stormin Norman Powell is, he's popped up as questionable
5:08
as well with a, what is it? Back spasms issue. Andy Wiggins is available. He's been dealing with
5:13
that toe problem. They've got a back to back. So watching him sit the second one of that is
5:17
probably the most likely situation there. The next game we look at Wizards and Trailblazers.
5:23
Jeremy Grant said that they said there was a pop in the car. If you haven't heard a diagnosis,
5:27
I am going to be stunned on a sea of grante plays in the regular season.
5:30
Therefore, avoiding April again. I don't take his playing. I don't think Vick Creech is coming
5:35
back and then Rob Williams left the last game with a back issue. So I'd be a little surprised
5:39
if Robbie Williams played in this one as well. For the Wizards, Dick Johnson III and Alex Sassat
5:45
the last game, I think they played, but I'm also not sure. Paul and his fine. They're pretty good.
5:50
They're not awesome. The Wizards sometimes can sort of shock some of these teams. So just watch
5:54
that. Interest of Vick Creech is dealing with some injuries. Their rotation, probably the least
5:57
predictable one out there. I don't know what's going to happen at any point in any game. It's all
6:01
over the shop. It's the least predictable rotation in the NBA. The Wizards. And that is why it's
6:06
probably just best to avoid them most of the time. Celtics and Hornets and Boston, again, is just
6:11
listing Jalen Brown, Jason Tatum, Maximum Derek White and the Pastel Denath and Ameish Cater
6:16
as questionable. This is the first of a back-to-back for Boston. So Tatum is sitting one of these
6:20
games, whether it's this one or not. I don't know, but they are all questionable here. And for the
6:25
Hornets Grant Williams is playing on Saturday. So I expect that he sits on Sunday and the same goes
6:30
with Kobe White, who is playing on Saturday, therefore, I think that he sits on Sunday.
6:35
Kings and Nets. This is going to be pretty ugly. We don't have official ninja reports here,
6:40
but I will note that Josh Minot has popped up as questionable. We saw last time they played a
6:45
bad team that for some reason they just decided that Minot was too good to play in that game.
6:49
I would be very shocked if Minot plays here, honestly. At least they're giving us advanced
6:54
notice that it's questionable. Because last time they just de-impeded him, I think that Minot
6:59
will not play here. Danny Wolf will be out, and I'd be just waiting for some other nonsense with
7:03
other guys. They might be the second most unpredictable rotation. The Kings, they're on a back-to-back
7:09
and Nick Clifford returned on Saturday. So do Killian Hayes. Kig and Murray will be out, but I
7:14
think there was a chance that Clifford and Hayes both do play on Sunday. I also think that
7:18
Demada Rosen does not play on Sunday. Against the Nets, maybe hopefully they've learned the
7:23
lesson that they probably need to lose it, whether they do that or not, whether they sit the guys
7:30
that they probably need to. I'm not really sure, but this is the, these are the games where you've
7:38
got to do it. Yeah, these are the games where they've got to do it. They've got to make sense of it.
7:43
Next game is the Orlando Magic and the Toronto Raptors, still no Franz Wagner, still no Mr.
7:49
who's out again, very hard to suggest holding onto these guys. Man, you'll quickly
7:53
is going to be out again for the Raptors. Well, they've also just chucked Brandon Ingram
7:57
on the injury port and then both Colin Murray Boyles and Trace Jackson Davis. The hyphenated
8:01
centres are both questionable after missing or leaving the last game early. If Ingram is out,
8:07
it's a lot more for Jacobi Walter to do. With Crickly out, it's more for Jamal Shed to do.
8:11
And if Murray Boyles and Jackson Davis are out, it's a lot more for Marmu and Jakob Pertle to do
8:16
in that particular spot. The next game is the New Orleans Palakins and the Houston Rockets,
8:21
and this is a little worrying. I already talked on my week 23 preview show about the
8:25
Palakins having a terrible schedule and both Kenneth Murphy III and DeGente Murray are questionable
8:30
for Sunday's game. This is not a back-to-back for DeGente. I'll have made a big point of saying
8:34
how DeGente has actually not been a good pick-up because he's got to end up playing nine games
8:39
over four weeks. He might play eight games over four weeks, eight games over four weeks, two
8:45
games a week, and then that are off Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. That is a bad spot, and then he'll
8:52
play two games next week. There's a part of that as well, because they've got a Thursday,
8:56
Friday, back-to-back. If we get an Ingram that DeGente Murray is out here, that's a drop man,
9:01
that's four days with no games. And honestly, you're probably considered
9:06
tray Murphy because what if he comes back and then only plays two games anyway with the back-to-back?
9:11
That's terrible for the value of both of those guys. This is not a back-to-back for DeGente.
9:17
Trey's already missed a couple in a row. I would be very concerned there.
9:22
The Nixon the Thunder. Land of Shamit remains out. We did get some other updates here, though.
9:28
Isaiah Hart and Stein, Chet Holmgren, and the Bronco Jalen Williams are all available.
9:32
Now this is the first of a back-to-back for the Thunder. So does Jalen Williams and Hart and Stein
9:35
just sit on Monday? Probably. We'll chat sit one of them. I'm not sure. But at the moment,
9:40
if that does happen and Chet sits, that means Pig Williams gets a big run on Monday.
9:44
And then the problem is, though, is that after Monday, the Thunder played one game in five nights.
9:49
So you could stream them for Monday and hold on this back-to-back, and then you cut them after that.
9:56
Just with Brian, he's returning. We'll get him close anyway. He's listed
9:58
questionable. We're not really rostring him, but he'll be at least in the stream discussion portion
10:03
of the shows. And then the Warriors and the Nuggets is the final game. No staff, no profit.
10:06
The Wavepool de-empted amount will be back. We'll reach it. I'm not sure he'll be questionable
10:10
and then Quinton Post has been missing quite a bit of time, actually. It doesn't really matter
10:14
a ton. The Nuggets obviously play Sunday. And then you can jettison a lot of them because they play
10:18
two games. One game in the first five days of the week. So you're holding onto your kitchen
10:23
Murray, and then you're dropping the other dudes after that. It is tax time. But for a lot of us,
10:30
the old way of doing taxes is a lot. You're trying to book an appointment, but that's not the
10:34
most convenient. You're sitting in a waiting room with a stack of papers, you're emailing back
10:37
and forth, and wondering if they really get your situation. But this year, you're getting a
10:40
major upgrade into a TurboTax now has in-person locations nationwide. You can meet face-to-face
10:46
with a real tax expert, and your documents get uploaded straight to your TurboTax app on the spot.
10:50
And just like that, you're done. Your TurboTax expert works to get you every dollar you deserve,
10:54
or you get real-time notifications as you go about your day. It's the relief of walking in and
10:58
meeting a real person and walking out, knowing that your taxes are being handled right.
11:02
Head to TurboTax.com, search local to find a store near you, and book your appointment.

Join up. See how it goes. Go. All right. We're looking ahead now to streaming. We're just going to
11:23
dig straight into streaming stuff here for, what is it? The Sunday game with nine games on,
11:29
really starts as usual. Remember, we'll start with some Yahoo Points streaming guys with 10 names
11:35
to go through there. I am again, reluctantly going to look at some kings, guys.
11:40
Devin Carter and Malik Muck, but I don't know. I don't know, because I don't know whether they're
11:46
going to sit them. It's possible against the nets that Malik doesn't play or Carter has an
11:50
ankle problem, or Demar is in or out. I don't know. But they do profile pretty well with Westbook
11:55
done. Gas Payton. I think he's a pretty strong option for Yahoo Points leagues. His role is up,
12:00
Steph remains out, Moody is out. Got scoot handers in there, because I think he's going to get
12:05
more usage with Jeremy Grant, not available. And my likelihood there is that Rob Williams also
12:11
probably out, which pushes a little bit more into Don Klingon, which sort of moves everyone around
12:14
the position of Spectrum somewhere. And lastly, it's the Anthony Melton, the wayful. He's a much
12:19
better category player than Pointslee player. He did get back on track in the last game. We like
12:23
the value here, but he's still considerably under-rusted. So, available on a lot of different leagues
12:29
and their five names that I do like for Yahoo Points, like a five more. I'm going to give you
12:32
which go into some deeper formats. And I think Luzman Zheng probably should just be rusted in general.
12:36
We know that now Kevin Porter's out for the year. He got a Vakuzan reporter sort of back and
12:40
forward stuff. And Zheng's going to get lots of opportunities. So we do like him there.
12:45
Me putting Leaky Black on this list is obviously fraught with danger. I have no idea
12:52
where the Leaky Black is going to play. I don't know what the Wizards are going to do with their
12:56
rotation, but again, they are playing Paul and I would say that they could be a little bit concerned
13:00
about that. I don't know how they run things. I don't, they're both Leaky Black and Duju Rees have
13:05
seven games remaining on their contracts and the team has nine games left for the season. So,
13:11
they're not going to play every game. Black played 42 minutes and 40 minutes the last two games.
13:16
He could easily get damnied easily, but I think that he probably gets a start here.
13:22
But man, I don't know. Palo Larson, Carlo Macdabitch is a more double onic sort of a play.
13:28
And then there's Dylan Cardwell, who also coming off an ankle injury, he might sit on the second
13:33
night of a back-to-back. I don't know. They haven't given us any real word or notification on that.
13:37
He's playing on Saturday. I think he plays Sunday, but I don't know. So it's risky. It's very risky.
13:45
ESPN points. We go to Devin Carter, who I do think has a chance to some really good numbers
13:51
end of season here. Guy Santos, El Helper. Still no one's grabbing him on ESPN. Shout out to ESPN,
13:58
who still has not made Bezm Bing available, who's averaging 32 minutes a night playing over eight games
14:02
now. You guys do well. Gas Payton, Erb Jones, Wendell Carter, Jr., who's been really
14:12
lowly rusted on ESPN all season. And well, I don't love him as a must-rust a guy. He's always
14:16
been a very key stream target for us. Us. We're all working together. ESPN points again,
14:22
Uzman Jiang, De Anthony Melton, Sterling Henderson, Malik Leaky Black, and the Plough King,
14:33
Daekwon Ploughton. Better than the Mr. Plough. He's the Plough King. He's not a loser like that.
14:43
Daekwon has been getting a lot of shots up if Demada Rosen is out as I think he will be.
14:48
I think that Daekwon has got a pretty sizable opportunity there. Let's go to category
14:54
league streaming. It's always risky when I do this list and then a bunch of Wizards pop up,
14:59
like Will Riley. But somehow he's been getting 29 to 30 minutes every night. And he doesn't do anything
15:06
else, apart from score. At some point, Dick Johnson III, Trey Johnson, will have a game that is good.
15:13
I don't know when it'll happen, but at some time he will. He's still only playing those 22,
15:17
23 minutes, but there'll be a point where he has 18 points in six threes and does it in 22.
15:23
Surely. Tim Hardaway, am I going to get one point? Am I going to get 20 points? I don't know.
15:32
Jaden Hardy has been playing pretty well as well. He is a big like just points sort of a guy
15:37
for Washington. And the last one there is Jacobi Walton who could very easily jump higher on this
15:41
list, if Brandon, Ingraham is silent, which I think is a decent chance that when you get a random
15:45
pop up like that for Ingraham on the injury port that maybe he does not play. For threes,
15:50
Hardaway can easily hit seven of them. He could just miss all seven of his shots there.
15:56
Sam Houser, the only Boston starter who's not listed questionable. And does he have huge usage
16:01
ramp up ability? Not particularly. But you're eating a lot of shots from Peyton Pritchard,
16:05
beginning more from Houser. You're beginning more minutes from Oonsar. You'll be getting some
16:09
look at Gaza. You'll be getting Jordy Walsh. You'll be getting some Ron Harper Jr.
16:18
So Houser seems the best option out of all those guys. Carlton Carrington has been honestly
16:23
putrid all season, but he gets a solid enough role and he can hit two or three of them here.
16:28
Jaden Hardy is not doing anything else. And then trade Johnson as well. But it's still it. It's a
16:33
lot of wizards. It's a lot of wizards. Assists. David Mitchell, just the king of the assist stream.
16:40
He really only has persistent hold value for very specific category league builds.
16:45
But he gets assists. Jamal shed with quickly out. Bob Carrington's a six seven assist guy.
16:51
Killian Hayes can get your five or six as well. And the last one there is Nolan Treore.
16:55
You can throw Ben Sarov in there. But honestly, who knows? Treore could play 30. He could play
17:00
16 minutes. Sarov might rest. I don't know. They and the wizards are all over the shop
17:06
in terms of who plays on what's specific night for steals. The paint and the tea stable.
17:12
Don't expect anything else. But three or four steals absolutely apply. Dominique Clifford.
17:19
Nick, he's back. Will he play? I don't know. I think so. But I don't know. Jimmy Watkins. Yeah,
17:26
this feels anecdotal and it probably is. But it feels like there's just a lot of times
17:31
where Jimmy Watkins just gets three steals. I'm going to look it up. Maybe I'm just talking
17:34
and completing nonsense here. It's going to be his game look. Jimmy Watkins, no steals last game,
17:39
or he is why I think that. No steals in the last game. Terrible. Played six minutes.
17:43
Here is the games after that. It was before that. Three steals, three steals, two steals,
17:47
three steals, two steals, three steals, three steals, two steals, two steals, one steal.
17:50
Will he play 16 minutes? It's a lot of three steal games.
17:55
But of course he played six minutes last game. So who knows? The rabbit hunter Alex Karusso
18:00
probably chances of a lower minutes on a back-to-back and then Gary Trent the third Jacobi Walter.
18:05
He's a steals guy. He's a three's guy. So there you go. And then three throw percentage.
18:10
Zoe Williams, also a pretty good steals guy, can always get randomly minutes dropped.
18:14
Trey Johnson, Isaiah Joe, Michael Potter. And Jared McCain, who there is also risk of Joe
18:21
and McCain playing like seven minutes. But in his 12 minutes or so he might get you a two or two
18:26
or three or three from the line. And that obviously is relatively workable.
18:32
You waited for it. It's the five hour energy flavor draft. You're here. I'm there with 18
18:36
different flavors. I'm there with my team. We've got our whole war room assembled. What are we
18:40
going to do with the number one pick? It's a tough question. I've been tasked with this responsibility
18:47
so many times. I'm old hat at it now. Having that number one pick, I know that five hour energy
18:52
shots are going to give a boost to my energy without any sugar. I know that. There are so many
18:57
new flavors of the older liables as well. But for some reason they need to change these NIL rules.
19:02
Why these flavors are enabled to re-enter the draft? Like what's going on with Cherry? Bro,
19:08
you've been around forever. Who are you James Najee of five hour energy flavors? Why are you
19:15
available for this draft? Have you saw a pic, Cherry, with its classic red fruit profile and bright
19:20
punchy taste? But that's really not what the draft is about, is it? What I like is strawberry banana.
19:26
It's a tropical delight with strawberry, a taste that goes in everything from smoothies and milkshakes
19:30
to cakes and now five hour energy shots. It's smooth, it's creamy, it's reminiscent of a fruit
19:34
smoothie. That's exactly what I'm looking for with the number one pick in the five hour energy
19:37
flavor draft. So find your new favorite flavor of five hour energy shots available online at fivehour

20:43
Let us dig back in to some more streaming. We just did the free throw percentage. So now we're
20:48
going to look at streaming for big men categories rebound blocks and field goal percentage for rebounds
20:56
Mitch Robinson the king of the defensive stream or the king of the big man stream. Jericho Sims
21:02
a couple of these names are incredibly risky. Leaky black, Carlo McAvitch and Cheney Johnson
21:09
put as little faith in that as you can but they are some real double on issues that are going
21:14
to be available to a lot of different spots hands up if you know who Cheney Johnson plays for.
21:18
I know most of your legends and you'll know this but do you all do you all know who he plays for
21:25
maybe also again new goat name just dropped in Memphis
21:31
a dumber ball. Hopefully we get some value out of him at some point. The
21:38
blocks category Dylan Cardwell, Carlo McAvitch, Leaky black, the big sealant Ryan Colt Browne
21:45
and the dart Goga Badadze and lastly we're going to do field goal percentage we'll go to Colt
21:51
Browne Dylan Cardwell, Jericho Sims, Goga Badadze and then if he actually gets into the game
21:58
Clint Cappella it's a pretty rough day for streaming honestly but hopefully you're able to get
22:04
the right guys in to get you the match up win that you need. I did a week 23 preview for those
22:09
of you still going go and look at that it's a very weird week it's a very tough week to stream
22:12
in accurately and it's going to depend a lot on what initial sort of roster you're starting with.
