Today, Rob Cesternino welcomes Survivor 49 winner Savannah Louie for a candid exit interview, diving deep into her experience with the new Cila Tribe. Rob is joined by Savannah to unpack why returning players target past winners, what really happened in the tribe’s back-to-back votes, and how hidden alliances shaped the early days on the island. Plus, “This Week in Survivor History” makes its much-requested return, with Jordan Kalish and Survivor superfan Jake battling Rob in a high-stakes trivia faceoff.
Savannah reflects on the challenges of entering Survivor 50 as a recent winner, revealing that despite her best efforts, the returning cast viewed her as an obstacle more than an ally. She shares insight into tribe dynamics, including the fast-paced strategies of Christian, Devens, Emily, and the tight 2 of Ozzie and Cirie, leaving Savannah and Joe scrambling for footing. Rob and Savannah discuss the fallout from Jenna’s departure, Savannah’s risky decision to go on a journey, and why Cila’s majority saw Cirie as too well-connected to target early. The episode also covers the mishandled alliance pitch by Ozzie and why Devens’ secrecy complicated relationships on the beach.
– Savannah Louie reveals why winners often become targets, and why she would have been “scared of herself too.”
– Inside the core alliances: Cirie and Ozzie’s pair, Christian-Deven-Emily’s trio, and how the rest got left out
– Rob and Savannah debate the tribe’s reluctance to bring Joe in—was he too trustworthy for the speedy game?
– Fun stories from Savannah’s journey with Colby and Mike White, plus talk of alleged “pre-game Zoom alliances”
– Jordan Kalish’s trivia returns, with Jake recalling early Survivor moments and tricky new-era twists
As Rob and Savannah break down the real story behind Sela’s shifting power, they question whether anyone could have made a move against the Cirie machine or if Savannah’s fate was sealed the moment she stepped on the beach. Can future targets find a way to break the current alliances, or is a big blindside coming?
Tune in for all the behind-the-scenes drama and sharp Survivor insights, including deep dives into idol plays, trust, and the makings of an early blindside!

Hey everybody, what's going on Rob Cisternino?
Back here to talk with our latest person voted out of Sviver 50.
Sviver 50 has been so good so far.
I've been really loving these first two episodes, and we're going to talk with a person
who can give us some insight into what was going on over at the SEALA Tribe.
It's going to be the winner of Sviver 49.
Svana Lui is going to join us and we'll talk to her about everything that's going on.
Plus, we heard you last week, where was this week in Sviver history?
At least five, maybe six people said, where is it Rob?
And so we've answered the call.
And so this week in Sviver history will be back this week.
And so you'll hear that after the exit interview.
Last night, I thought we had a great recap on the know-it-all of everything that was going
on. Check that out.
And then today, I'm going to be talking with an old friend Andrea Belkey on the podcast
on Thursday.
So be on the lookout for that one and everything else we do here in the podcast feed.
Tell your friends go to get rhap.com.
I see that we have Savannah on the line.
Let's go ahead and patch her in.
All right.
We're here with the winner of Sviver 49, the great Svana Lui.
Svana, how are you?
I love that you're still calling me a winner even though I'm a loser too.
Yeah, look, some of us are just losers.
Savannah, some of us have never gotten to be a winner.
I know you're an icon.
You're an icon.
Listen, you're not doing so bad yourself, Savannah.
I want to know from you that do you feel like that did the returning players?
Do you feel like they gave you a fair chance?
You know, honestly, I think it's fair of a chance as I would have given someone else
if I was in their shoes.
I mean, Sviver, this game of uncertainty, you see someone coming in with a big
question mark over their head.
All you know about them, for sure, is that they won their season.
Like, yeah, that's scary.
I do think my tried mates may have looked at me more like an obstacle
versus a potential ally.
But, dude, I don't blame them.
Like, I would be scared of me too.
I thought you were in good shape coming into this episode.
It seems like your name didn't come up on the first vote.
Was this as much of a blindside to you?
No, I mean, honestly, after Jenna went home,
I did a confessional and everything about it.
But I thought I was at the bottom.
And that's a big part, actually, why I went on the journey.
And I know you'll probably ask about that.
But like, at that point, I'm like, if I'm going home in two days, three days,
I might as well do something that might get me an advantage.
But more importantly, like, do something to help make this experience feel more full.
If I only have a few more days out here, I want to do as much as I can.
And especially do things that I didn't get to do during 49,
because I did think it would be a little detrimental to my game,
some of these journeys.
So, yeah, I was hopeful, but also, I think, realistic.
I thought there was an interesting parallel in your survivor journey,
where you go on the journey and you get the same advantage that Stephen got
when he went on his journey in survivor 49.
Was any part of that in the way that all played out,
weighing on you in terms of not saying what you had?
You know, not necessarily.
I think part of me really wanted to tell someone that I had this advantage,
because I have an advantage.
I don't know what the hell to do with it,
especially because I feel like I'm kind of isolated in this moment.
Maybe someone else's brain power can help me figure out the best way to move forward.
But at the same time, I didn't trust anyone.
And I felt like if I just told one person, every single person on the tribe would know.
And so I either felt like I either had to make a decision where I kept it completely to myself,
or I kept it to myself and shared told someone later when I got a little bit more trust built up.
Or I just told everybody from the get go and I did not want to do that.
Since the episode came on, I've been obsessed with trying to figure out the dynamics of your tribe.
And why people are feeling some type of way about Joe,
because admittedly, I feel like I did not see Joe doing anything that really was making people feel uncomfortable.
Can you give us some illumination on this?
You're putting me in the hot seat. I'm scared.
No, here's the thing, because I know that Joe's going to be listening to some of these interviews.
And Joe's a family man. He has kids like, I'm not trying to bash anyone.
That said, like the conversation that Joe and Devon's had was way more intense than it seemed on TV.
And if you have six people on a beach and Joe and you see these six people who are very concerned about the potential to work with someone in the future.
They're concerned about how reliable they are.
I think it tells you that there was more to that conversation than aired.
But again, like I'm not trying to bash anyone.
No, I don't think you are.
Because I'm trying to make sense of it.
And the way I have been thinking about it, your tribe has a lot of players who are fast players.
Devons, Christians, Surrey, Emily, these are hardcore gamers.
And you have Joe, who seems like he really builds relationships out of trust.
And to me, it's like that maybe people weren't necessarily willing to put the time investment into bringing Joe along.
And he was feeling uncomfortable, but it's hard to tell from just watching the edit.
You know, it's so interesting when you think about our tribe dynamics, because you have, you know, Christian, Devon's Emily, obviously a tight three.
You have Aussie and Surrey, obviously a tight two.
And I believe these three, the Christian, Devon's Emily, they also thought that Surrey was with them.
So they thought they were four.
And so total, that's five people.
And then you have the others, including me and Joe, who are kind of on the outs, you know what I mean.
And I could, speaking from my perspective, like I could kind of feel that, you know, these people were being nice to me.
They were so supportive of me as a person, but it didn't necessarily feel like they wanted to bring me on as a potential ally or even a tool to help them get further in the game.
What I was wondering was that first off, I thought that you and Joe seemed like a pair based off of what we saw in the first episode.
Is that accurate?
You know, I wouldn't say we were a tight pair, but we were on the same page mentally.
And I mean, you even think about the same, the game we played.
It's kind of similar.
We're both very loyal people.
We're both, you know, relatively strong.
He's a little stronger than I am, but you know, we're both, you know, physical.
Hey, I think you won more challenges.
But.
Thank you.
I'll just say thank you to that.
But, you know, I think we had a lot in common at first.
And then I think that, you know, you see Joe and Christian in that hammock, for example, and you see Christian kind of saying, you know, this is the way the times are turning.
Be with us versus, you know, don't.
And I don't, I don't blame Joe.
Like I would, if I was in his shoes, I'd vote against me too.
I don't want to be the only other person who's not booting with everybody else.
But what it seemed like to me was that maybe they wanted to, they had maybe decided already that you were going to go out.
And they didn't know how to tell Joe this.
And then they also didn't want to lie to Joe, because they didn't know how Joe was going to react to then getting told a fake plan.
That's exactly how I read it too.
I think you're spot on.
Yeah.
Okay.
So tell me a little bit about your relationships in the tribe.
Who did you feel the closest with?
Yeah, I mean, Jenna from day one.
And I think you look at us.
We're too strong, confident, sometimes aggressive.
Game players.
And I, I loved her in the game.
I was so sad to see her go, but I didn't want to stick my neck out for someone that early in the game, especially when I also felt like I was at the bottom.
But other than that, like Rick Devins.
I like, I cited him in my travel page video.
Yes, like I love him.
So I wanted to work with him.
And then Emily as well, I really liked her.
I think again, there's something that asks about two women who are strong and just, you know, kind of like all bulldoze everybody else if I have to.
And I felt that from Emily.
I feel like that for myself sometimes.
And I wanted to work with her as well.
We saw Jenna Lewis talk about how she wanted to take out Suri.
You were one of the other people in the preseason who also talked about that you would be open to taking out Suri.
Why do you feel like that plan couldn't come together?
Because Suri is too damn good.
The plan didn't come together because of the reason why we wanted her to go out because she's such a master at, you know, strategy and social, you know.
I think that she was obviously very close with Aussie.
But I think she was so very quickly ingratiated with Christian Devins and Emily right there.
That's five people.
She's not going anywhere.
And I think she also did have a connection with Joe as well.
And so I mean, I'm not surprised that she didn't go home.
It didn't seem like anyone wanted to her to leave either.
I want to ask you about this four person alliance that we saw almost come together where Aussie was talking about this alliance with maybe he picked, you know, you Joe, Aussie and Rick Devins.
And you seemed very open to this, but it seemed like this was not something that Rick wanted to go with.
Yeah.
And I mean, honestly, like me and Rick, when Aussie came to us with that plan, we both were kind of like, what?
Like, you want to work with us for you, Aussie, who are obviously very close to Suri.
You don't want to mention Suri's name.
You want to work with me, Joe and Devins.
Like, that's crazy.
It doesn't make sense.
It doesn't compute to me.
And so I think we were both really cautious about it.
But that said, like, if anyone comes to me, I don't care who you are.
I will say, yeah.
So I'm, yeah, I will align with you.
I will work with you every day all day.
Like, I don't care who you are or what.
And so when Aussie brought that to me, I'm like, yeah, absolutely, I'll work with you.
But in my head, I'm like, this feels, you know, a little off.
I wish Devins would have just told Joe, it doesn't matter if you want to work with Joe or not.
Like, don't make me look dumb or like, I'm untrustworthy by by not sharing that, you know.
So it was a bummer that Devins handled it like that.
I wish he wouldn't have because I don't think it helped my cause.
But, you know, it's okay.
It happens to the best of us.
And I guess I'll fall on the sword for that part of the game.
Did you have conversations with Joe about this separately?
Yes.
And that was also a conversation that I felt was not quite as heated as his conversation with Devins.
But again, it was a side of Joe that I hadn't seen in 48.
I still wanted to work with Joe because like I said, like survivor can bring out parts of you that you're not necessarily proud of.
But yeah, we did have a conversation.
And you saw part of it air.
A very small part of it air.
But yeah, it was not my favorite conversation out there.
Was Joe upset with you for some reason?
I think Joe just felt like he couldn't trust me.
And, you know, I kind of get it.
He's getting this weird reaction from Devins.
I get where his head was at.
He had just been embarrassed on TV because of Kyle and Camilla in his minds.
I know who's very sensitive to that.
And so I don't blame him for being really wary of me.
Yeah.
Going back to your advantage that you had.
Were you feeling like people were not necessarily picking up what you were putting down in terms of that?
Yeah.
Yeah.
But hey, I didn't lose my vote.
And I just got to keep my vote.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I felt like people were probably like this girl is so sus right now.
Yeah.
And especially coming in with like people don't know how I played like.
I, again, I don't blame any of these people for thinking I'm like super suspicious.
But that said, I thought, you know, maybe there's a chance that it is believable.
Because like.
How do I say this?
Because like that's how the challenge had been at first.
Like I really didn't think I was going to get anything out of it.
And I also thought like, you know, in the future, if I ever do end up on the same tribe as Colby,
or if any of my old tribal mates meet Colby, like, I'm going to look legit, right?
Unfortunately, I didn't make it quite that far.
But I feel like in the long run, if I just survived maybe one or two more tribal councils,
maybe I would have had a little validity there.
Was there anything else we didn't see from your time on the journey with Colby and Mike White?
Oh, yeah.
Actually, that's so funny.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, we talked for a long time.
And pre-gaming has been a huge topic, you know, kind of around the season 50 cast,
because everybody pre-games for a returning season, right?
And I had heard that there were certain people who were part of a specific Zoom call alliance.
And I asked Colby about it.
And, you know, it's kind of funny, because in my season 49, like you see me ask Kristina straight up,
like, who are you voting for?
And it comes across as, like, very scary.
And I kind of do something similar, I think, with Colby in that moment.
And dude, he was, I love Colby.
I think he was a little flustered, because he's probably like, I don't know, it was so funny.
I wish they would have aired it, because it was just so freaking funny.
But yeah, I have no problem asking people, like, you know, I don't want the truth.
You know what I mean?
I'll ask you whatever.
Savannah, you're a great reporter.
Were you able to find out in your reporting, who was on Zoom with Colby?
Oh, I have allegations, but they have not been confirmed.
So I'll keep them to myself.
Okay.
But I encourage you to ask the other people in your exit press about that.
Okay.
We'll keep finding out.
But that always a thrill to be on a Zoom call with you, Savannah.
Is there anything else you want to make sure the people know about in terms of your time in Survivor 50?
Yeah.
You know, I am just so grateful for the experience.
And you know, there's something to be said about a winner who comes back and doesn't do very well on a returning season
and then comes back for round three.
This is all part of my Tony arc.
Oh, yeah, I wasn't even thinking about that.
That you were on the Tony trajectory.
Well, I meant to go out early, actually.
Yeah, this is on purpose.
Tony really flamed out the second time that he played.
And I thought that you came back and you did as good as I think you could have in these circumstances.
Thank you, Rob.
I appreciate that.
Yeah.
Okay.
Well, Savannah, always a treat to talk to you.
I still am looking forward to that Survivor 49 deep dive one of these days.
You hit me up.
Seriously, whenever I'm allowed to, I'm going to give you all the tea, all the tea.
All right.
We'll get into it.
Savannah, thank you so much.
All the best.
Okay.
Love you, Rob.
Thank you.
All right.
There you have it.
There's Savannah.
Second winner in a row who really just came right off of their win to come into Survivor 50 and then not have it work out.
Savannah seems like she's in good spirits.
Always enjoy talking to Savannah who's always.
First off, I'm always impressed with how polished she is as a speaker.
And so that's always very nice to hear on the podcast.
But love how she keeps it real with love to talk more with Savannah.
One of these days, as I told her, whether it's the 49 deep dive or future Survivor seasons,
we can forward to much more Savannah on the podcast.
We're going to take a break when we come back this week in Survivor history makes its triumphant return when we come back.
Right after this.
Spring is finally here.
And now that means that people are going to start seeing what's been under your jacket that whole time.
And a good wardrobe comes down to pieces that mix well and hold up over time.
That's what Quince does best.
They've got premium materials thoughtful designed on everyday essentials that are easy to wear and easy to rely on all year round.
Quince has a ton of stuff that I actually am looking for in the closet like weight,
cashmere sweaters, short sleeve, Mongolian cashmere polos, linen shorts,
tees and 100% Pima cotton and European jersey linen versatile pieces.
The key to Survivor is versatility.
And that's what makes a great wardrobe work season of season.
And the stuff at Quince is rated between 4.5 and 5 stars by thousands of people wearing them every day.
Guess what? I'm one of them.
They work directly with top factories and they cut out the middlemen,
which means you're not paying those inflated brand markups just quality clothing made to last.
This cashmere polo that I've got looks good feels expensive and didn't cost a fortune,
which isn't a bad thing when you're not a reality TV show winner.
Refresh your wardrobe with Quince, go to quince.com slash rock pod for free shipping on your order
and 365 days returns now available in Canada too.
That's q-u-i-n-c-e.com slash rock pod free shipping and 365 days returns quince.com slash rock pod.
Spring is here and there's a whole new way to try at Starbucks that's made perfect for you.
Choose your sweetness, dial it up or keep things light.
Add a touch of pistachio, a hint of strawberry or vanilla or make it a spring classic with lavender
because this season there's endless ways to chie at Starbucks.

Predator Badlands.
Now streaming on Hulu and Hulu on Disney Plus rated PG-13.
All right, everybody.
We got so many complaints last week,
because we didn't have any twish after week one's exit interviews.
But there was too much going on.
So, uh, by popular demand.
Back here.
It's Jordan Kayla.
Jordan, how are you?
I'm good.
I'm good.
All the, uh, all the stands were blowing up the phone.
They're like, where were you?
Yes, last week.
Yes.
Everybody was wanting to know what was going on.
And finally,
Jordan Kayla, let's come back to RHAP.
We're back, baby.
Yes.
Arguably the biggest season of survivor of all time.
And I think this could be the biggest season of Twish of all time.
Oh, okay.
Well, actually, I heard quite the opposite.
But we'll talk about that.
A few fewer questions, fewer questions.
But each question holds more weight.
Olds more weight.
Here with us today, one of our patrons is ready to take me on in survivor trivia.
It's Jack.
Jack, how are you?
I'm doing well.
I was one of those stands that was excited for this to come back.
So, very excited to be a part of the first one of the season.
Okay.
All right.
Jack, tell us a little bit about your survivor fandom.
Yes.
Okay.
So, I started with survivor 43 in college during COVID.
Uh, started watching with my roommates.
It was a really cool experience for all just every week.
Uh, just have that together and then went back and decided to, you know,
spend my entire summer for starting my job watching every season,
listening to all the podcasts and now I'm watched all of those.
Yes.
Okay.
Well, Jack, I know is a great survivor fan.
We've had many calls on the patron Q&A.
And Jack, are you ready to take me on here today?
I'm nervous, but I'm excited.
I think we'll be fun.
All right.
Jordan, I hear you have some new rules for season season 50.
Yeah.
A couple of things going on here.
So, we are going to have four questions on the quiz.
We are bucking the original six that we used to do.
And we're going to have four questions.
And that's kind of the new era of that.
Let's take the, take the old game and then shorten it by 33%.
So, we're following suit.
But there's going to be a dynamic, uh, dynamic scoring change.
Yeah.
Yeah.
This is your idea.
Yeah.
You want it.
You wanted this.
You specifically asked for this.
Uh, they're every week.
There are going to be two regular questions and two mystery box questions.
The regular questions are going to work like they always have.
If you get them right without multiple choice, you get two points.
If your opponent gets them right.
Sorry.
If you get them right with the multiple choice, you get one point.
If your opponent steals automatically, uh, one point, no matter what.
But, but for the mystery box questions, everything is worth an extra point.
So, okay.
Get it without the multiple choice.
It is three.
Uh, if you get it with the multiple choice, it is two.
If your opponent steals no matter what, it is two points.
So the mystery box will always be worth more.
Okay.
All right.
You asked for this.
And we're doing a baby list.
We'll see if, uh, how my, how my math has improved over the years.
All right.
Let's give it a try.
All right, Jordan.
What are the four categories we have here today?
All right.
And here are the categories.
And for season 50, the categories might sound a little bit different than they used to.
Because these categories, at least to start off the season.
We'll see how things progress.
They were not talking about seasons here.
I have my categories.
They are general Lewis.
So refields the old era mystery box and the new era mystery box.
So, Jack, as the guest, as always, you get to choose your category first.
You can start mystery box.
You can start regular up to you.
But just know that the mystery box one to worth more points.
Okay.
New era of twish.
New era of twish.
Let's go old era of mystery box.
Wow.
Okay.
The old era mystery box.
Uh, you were in college during 43, started with that.
But it seems like you have watched the new era pretty recently.
If you have gone back and watched all the seasons.
So of the 12 old era players of the season, who is the only one that has never been involved in a tribe swap?
This includes any premiered situation in which in which at least one player switch tribes coach.
Coach is correct.
Wow.
Very quick.
I thought there would maybe be a little bit of talking.
You started saying that and I thought.
Uh, when one by one proximal a nation coach had a famously.
Uh, never done one.
Uh, yeah.
Well, Colby Colby was one of my multiple choice options.
I thought maybe that could be a popular answer.
He was around for the suboga absorption.
Yeah.
It's no.
Yeah.
That's, uh, absolutely correct.
Jack, you start with a three pointer.
Steph Curry here.
All right.
Well, I feel like I have to follow suit and do the new era mystery box.
Yes.
I think this is the immersion gameplay here.
If the other person gets the mystery box, you probably have to get it.
Yeah.
Well, I don't want to risk that if Jack gets the new era mystery box on the next turn, the game's over.
It's actually so quickly.
I mean, I feel like I feel like this is your, you're already week one or really week two,
but we want to twist going up against the buzzer.
The new era mystery box, many players in the new era have gone on journeys,
including multiple players who were cast on season 50,
who is the only season 50 new era player to have gone on a journey and successfully won an advantage.
Okay.
Somebody in the new era went on a journey and successfully won an advantage.
Hmm.
Just trying to think this through with our 12 players.
I don't think that Savannah went.
I don't think that.
Well, I don't want to give it to Jack.
So, but I also don't want it there to be dead air on the podcast.
I think I'd rather lose the game than have a bad podcast.
So just talking it through.
Maybe I'm not necessarily right.
Hmm.
Did Genevieve go on a mission, go on a journey and get an advantage?
I don't think so.
Then did Joe or Kyle or Camilla?
It's not really ringing a bell in terms of what they did.
Now, let's say that I do remember Camilla went.
Well, that wasn't that wasn't a.
Camilla went on a thing and had to like make somebody lose their vote.
What was that a journey?
Does that count?
I mean, any any journey,
anything that could be classified as a journey would count as.
That's going to annoy me if that's what it is because she was like,
she finished in the bottom three of a challenge and then had to go on like another thing to see if she could get her vote back.
But this is the question says though that this person won successfully won an advantage.
Yeah.
I will say this just for rules purposes.
Keeping your vote is not winning an advantage.
That's just not losing an advantage.
Okay.
So I don't think it was the I don't think it was Emily.
I might be having to go say.
That's just for the sake of this can't be a 10 hour podcast.
I'm going to say it was Q.
Q is incorrect.
So Jack, you could still two points here if you get it right.
This is, but this is not an instant buzzer for me like like the last one.
I would have said Camilla because of the whole dice game that she beat Justin on or whatever that was that she flipped it.
Did she win an advantage from that?
I don't think it was anybody else.
I can't I went through it and I can't get everybody else.
So I'm going to say Camilla.
I don't think it's right.
But I'm going to guess Camilla.
So you're saying Camilla Camilla did go on a journey.
So she went on the one that Rob talked about with with Mitch and star and made sure star lost her vote.
But before that, she did go on the journey where she had it was the skulls and flames game.
And that is where she won her extra votes.
So Camilla is the right answer.
Jack, you get the two points here.
Five to zero lead over Rob.
Wow.
This is the danger.
Dangerous fun, right?
This is the danger of the extra right now.
Well, I don't know.
I mean, I think I think I think Rob might be mathematically eliminated here.
Okay.
Well, good game.
I'm not sure.
I'm not sure.
My math.
My math is not great.
But we still have two more questions.
We have the general Lewis question.
And we have the Sirifields question.
Jack, it is your turn.
And by the way, cute did go on a journey.
But he let Hunter play the game where Hunter got to put the seasons in order.
So he did not get an advantage.
He did not lose anything.
But that, that would not count.
So General Lewis or Sirifields, Jack?
Oh, come on.
I got these three.
All right.
Sirifields.
Sirifields has voted in the majority at almost every single tribal council that she's ever been at.
But this was not the case in her first post swap tribal on the Cassaya Beach.
Who did she and ally Melinda Heider, who some people know is Melinda Tider, vote for at the tribal in which Melinda went home.
Oh.
Okay.
That's a great question.
Thank you.
I really do.
Welcome.
Going through.
I want to say it's either Bob dog or Bruce.
Because I don't think they voted for Shane are as Danielle or Courtney.
It could be Shane.
This one I'm actually not super certain on.
But the fact that she made it.
I'm just going to do deductive backwards that she made it in with the alliance still anyway.
Of those four.
I'm going to guess.
No multiple choice.
We'll just have that dangerous phone.
We'll just go for.
I'm going to get Bob.
Dangerous fun.
Bob dog.
Is incorrect.
So Rob, you can get on the board here.
This would be worth one point.
If you get it right.
Hmm.
Who did that.
She and.
It's not she.
Yeah.
She and Melinda.
Voted for.
And.
I don't think that Bruce was there yet.
I'm going to say that they voted for.
What's Bruce there?
He was there for cause of Charmin.
I'll say they voted for Bruce.
So it was not Bruce.
Bruce was sort of there because Bruce had been exiled.
And he got to.
He got to go to tribal council before officially joining the tribe.
It was Shane.
Oh.
They both voted for Shane here before the famous dysfunctional.
Saya Alliance was for them.
They weren't always a happy family.
You had to re voting for Shane here.
Yeah.
So no points there.
This is a tough question.
That's.
Very far back in in a series survivor career.
Obviously has recovered nicely after that.
And like I said, basically has been in the majority.
Almost every time she's been to tribal with the exception of like a couple early merge.
You know, a tribal council is in game changer.
So Rob, the last question your friend, Gene Lewis, last week in the 50 premiere we were.
We were reminded that at Gen all Lewis's first tribal council, she banged a gong and then BB was voted out.
Well, BB received six votes, including Jenis who received the other two votes.
Hmm, long time ago, 26 years.
Did BB and somebody else vote for who voted with BB?
I really, I don't have any idea who it could be.
I'm going to guess that the next person who's voted is Ramona.
I'm going to guess they voted for Ramona.
It was Ramona.
Ramona had some signs here of not feeling so great.
Greg and BB voted for Ramona.
So that is two points for Rob.
The final score here on Twitch, five to two, Jack, congratulations.
I'm winning the first Twitch of the season and Rob, I am unfortunately definitely not
a perfect game by any means.
So we are doing the verbal rebus baby.
It's back.
Okay.
Are we ready?
Are we ready for the verbal rebus?
Never have been more ready in my life.
I can't wait.
Jack, what's your opinion of the verbal rebus?
I love it.
I'm a fan.
I remember literally when I was first down into this, right, I was walking
into class.
And this was one of the podcasts that I always listened to after the exit interview.
Well, if it brings joy to Jack, then I'm on board.
Appreciate it Rob.
Appreciate it.
I'm doing it for Jack who, 43 and I was going to go bone with my first college season.
So it's been a while.
Be left David versus Delayeth because she hurt her blank.
Plus the initials of both the winner and first boot of San Juan Delcer.
They share the same initials and parents.
Plus the first boot of Millennials versus Gen X.
And we're looking for her last name.
So it's the first boot of Millennials versus Gen X looking for the last name.
Plus the season 48 player who wrote the rap, my enemies are plotting minus the Vanuatu
merge boot.
And we're looking for the first letter of his name.
So let's go step by step here.
What did be in your Jack and David versus Goliath?
I think it was her.
It was her knee.
Plus the initials of the winner and first boot of San Juan Delcer.
NA NA.
NA.
So we have knee plus NA plus the first boot of Millennials versus Gen X.
The last name of this player who's the first of Malayas versus Gen X.
Some syllables are harder to find.
I can't.
Her first name is Rachel.
Yeah, I like you.
Aiko.
Yeah, Aiko or Ako for the purposes of this.
I'm pretty sure it's not Ako.
Is it not Ako?
But okay, it's close enough to Ako.
It's spelled similarly to how you would spell Ako.
Sorry, sorry.
Plus the 48 player who wrote my enemies are plotting.
Great song.
Star to me.
Star.
23.
So it's number one.
I think that 9.
The Vanuatu merge boot.
We're looking for the first letter of his name.
So star minus R is what.
So Star is R is.
So worried take out the R.
It's need.
What's the name of Shannon Gus's baby.
Yeah,.
Yeah, Shannon Gus is baby also.
Shannon Gus probably listened to this.
I.
Yeah.
Yeah, as long as it's not that she'll be a safe.
I said, Shannon Gus,
her own verbal rebes of her baby's name.
So who do we have here, Jack?
Yeah, Nina, Ecostha. Wow. Yeah, Nina Acosta, the second
one world. Yeah, we got there. We got there. Maybe we got there.
There it is. The first verbal rebus is using verbal rebus that you
can just like completely change a way of person's name is pronounced.
Well, a poetic license. I mean, look, if stars could write, my
enemies are plotting. I could write the verbal rebus is the way
Rachel's last name is now pronounced. Echo. Well, it's close
enough. And I'll go a coast. I mean, like, it could be the last
maybe maybe Nina's last name is a coast. It could be. Yeah,
could be. All right. Who knows? Who knows? Well, you do know,
Jack, you do know everything. Great job by you. You are the winner
of the first swish of season 50 in the hands of it. Should we
have had the fans vote on whether or not there should be a
verbal rebus this season? You know, they would be it would be a
runaway. They want the verbal rebus rod. They stand it. They need
to inject it into their veins, baby. All right. Jack, what should
people know about you? I'm going to my first live, know what
all is. I booked it in New York City. New York City,
basics. See there. And I'll also just do a quick shout out
to Shannon if she is listening. I love Shannon. And she's
incredible. So if she is listening, shout out to mother.
Mother. Yeah, great podcast this week. So thank you, Jack.
Appreciate that. Okay. Jordan Kalish, you said you had
something big to plug here. Yeah, we got in a New York
magazine in their their grub street section, a Sarah Grant
street grub street. They talk about different different bars
and restaurants in New York City. Sarah Grant, who is a
journalist and a big survivor fan, interviewed me, came to the bar,
came to the party and wrote a write about our St. Pat's
viewing party. The article is called the Midtown Sports Bar
where survivor is thriving. So we're we're in the news,
baby, we did it. And I think that this is going to be the
best year of viewing party. We have so many people at the
premiere. And I think every week is going to be insane. Okay.
All right, Jordan Kalish, great job. Thank you so much for
listening to the exit interview. Of course, we have so much
more going on over on Patreon, where we will let you call in
for our Q&A coming up on Fridays plus club condo, the
Patreon five for five, and so much more. So become a part of
the greatest community out there for survivor fans.
The Rob is a podcast patreon. Rob is a website.com slash patron.
Thank you so much. Take care, everybody. Have a good one.
Bye.
