Survivor 50 heats up as Rob Cesternino and Stephen Fishbach host a lively Live Know-It-Alls from Los Angeles, joined by an all-star panel of past Survivor players. The crew dives straight into one of the most unpredictable episodes of the season, spotlighting Cirie’s magnetic gameplay, Emily’s chaotic strategy, and the emergence chances of new and returning legends.
The panel unpacks the dynamics of the latest tribe swap, exploring how players like Cirie charm and disarm the competition while still being considered a major threat. Parvati Shallow shares insights on how to best work with (or avoid crossing) Cirie, while Danielle DiLorenzo recounts memorable run-ins and lessons from their shared Survivor journeys. The group debates Q’s shocking exit, Coach’s signature stories and integrity talk, and the hilarity and confusion around the Billie Eilish boomerang idol. Emily’s blend of immediate oversharing and quick recovery earns both criticism and admiration. Tribal Council drama, blindfold challenge mishaps, and shifting alliances keep everyone guessing, as legends and new schoolers alike try to outwit, outplay, and outlast each other on Survivor’s biggest stage.
– Cirie’s unprecedented sixth season, loyalty risks, and social maneuvering—according pliant to Parvati and the panel
– Q’s dramatic self-sacrifice and what his vote-out means for the season’s energy
– The Billie Eilish boomerang idol confusion and its effect on gameplay
– Emily’s wild, unapologetic social gameplay and her growing legend status
– Coach and Ozzy’s rivalry, honor, and hallmark moments in camp and at challenges
– Dee’s struggle balancing instinct with Cirie’s world-class subtlety
Can anyone truly outwit Cirie, or will her social game claim another legacy-defining spot? Will Emily’s all-in chaos build alliances or burn them? Join the crowd for the full pulse of Survivor 50, every misplayed vote, idol twist, and legendary showdown.

This guy's around.
Or about to break it down.
Like they've won.
The game of million times.
Well, actually, they never really won the game.
At all.
Survival No Itals.
Survival No Itals.
Survival No Itals.
Survival No Itals.
Steve In and Rob without a doubt.
Have got the game all figured out.
We know it all.
We're back, baby.
Eric Borgert.
Thank you, Eric.
Hey, everybody. Look who I found.
It's been six years since I've come to a live event.
And this is so far.
Honestly, they were nice.
But this is really next level.
It's been, yeah, six years.
It was survivor 40.
The last time Stephen was here with us on the live show.
What's new?
Anything?
Four, we begin the festivities.
I know some of you just snapped before,
which you're welcome to do.
Like, can I get a little bit of this?
Okay, you don't have to.
You don't have to if you're uncomfortable
or you're already snapped out.
So we're all gathered here to sell,
a braid our hat,
but everybody's uncomfortable
because fish is gonna wrap.
It's such an honor to stand next to Rob.
But really, I'm just excited to hobnob.
I hope this live show is really instructive,
but you can't say it's the best ever
because rankings are.
All right, thank you very much.
It's such a pleasure to be back.
That was so brave of you.
That was so brave of you.
I thank you.
I feel safe to fail, among my friends.
Yeah, this is so fun that we're getting to talk
about survivor 50, super bummed to lose Q.
How are you feeling?
I was bummed.
We've got so much great and great stuff from Q.
I mean,
all three episodes of Q, we needed more Q.
We've had such an exciting trip to LA.
Last night, we were at Barnes and Noble at the Grove
to celebrate Steven.
Thank you, everybody who came out.
And for those of you who didn't come out,
I remember a best selling author and we were there.
Hobnobbing with the Litterati.
Oh, yeah.
And so really exciting night there.
And now here we are with what, 900 people here live
at the Alex Theater in Los Angeles.
Whoa.
I've got nothing to say.
I'm literally speechless.
Okay, I can't, yeah.
Incredible.
Okay, so we have a lot to break down tonight.
We're going to have a lot of guests joining us
to talk about everything here tonight.
And we're going to get into it.
We're going to give out a fishy later on in this episode.
Yeah.
Okay, all right, should we,
should we start to bring out some guests?
Yeah, my gosh.
Okay, we have here.
What did, maybe, you know, the survivor know it all
is a great duo,
but we are joined by an incredible duo here tonight.
Of course, you know them from working together
in survivor heroes versus villains.
Please welcome Queen Parvati Shallow
and the lady in waiting, Danielle De Lorenzo.
Woo!
Hi!
Look at us.
You okay?
Yeah, please sit down.
Yes, have a seat.
This is crazy.
I'm like Colby in the challenge tonight.
Yeah, what's happening here?
I'm sorry, I didn't beat her up.
That wasn't me.
It just happened.
I'm walking backstage and someone slams the metal door open
and hits me in the face.
You have a nice pack.
You had a, a, a meta-vac?
Yeah.
Guys, if I don't make sense tonight, you understand.
You know why?
Were you blindfolded?
I'm sorry.
I was, sadly I was not.
I had both eyes open.
I was like, what are you holding?
You know, do I have a fat left?
Okay.
Do you want to lay down?
Are you okay?
I'm sorry.
But how good was Colby when he bashed his head?
Oh my God, he was so tough.
Yeah, just, you know, when I hit my head so hard,
I didn't think it was gonna, it was gonna matter anything.
But, you know, on Survivor, you get injured.
But Jeff was like, yeah, that's how we do it.
Yeah.
That trauma.
Yeah, he was like really struggling like to,
to get up after, say the Colby's down for the count.
This was like worse than with coach.
This whole season has been a litany of his injuries.
Yeah.
Okay.
Danielle, how are you?
I am so good.
Oh my God, this is so fun to me here.
This is like, I'm not with my two, my three
and now four and a half year old.
So it's like, so nice to just be around people again.
Okay.
Okay, so we'd love to get your thoughts here
on so many people, you know both of you in season 50
and you two, even though you work together,
you are both mutually alliance partners with Cereen.
Oh yeah.
Oh yeah.
We love Cereen.
Yeah, but it's dangerous we learned tonight.
It's dangerous to lever.
I have a bone to pick.
And I think you'll back me up on this.
Okay.
Cereen, I don't know if you guys have heard this,
but I've heard her say now multiple times
on the show that she's played five seasons of Survivor.
Oh.
Is it four?
You, what do you think it's five and a half?
Yeah.
Oh, oh, oh, I get it.
Incorrect.
So rude.
Yeah.
That woman has played six seasons of Survivor.
Yeah.
I will not be gausslet and I will not let you be gausslet
by the revolution.
Yeah.
I thought maybe she wasn't counting the current season.
These are like the past seasons.
But I think we're getting, it's day eight.
This is pretty far into the sixth season.
This is six seasons of Survivor for Cereen Field.
Six seasons in a movie.
Wild.
I appreciate that.
It was like her first one.
Is that the most amount of seasons of Survivor anyone
has ever played?
Six.
Six.
Someone here can probably answer that question.
Yeah.
Christian?
Yeah.
I think, yeah, I think Rob and Sandra were on six,
but they didn't play in one.
Minimize their experience.
Oh.
But they were like, does that count?
I don't have a giant heads.
They're in the booth.
Yeah.
Okay.
Danielle, how do you feel like
Cereen is doing?
I feel like she's doing Cereen.
Yeah.
And in honor of Cereen, we had you both sit on the couch.
Yeah.
Should we get off the couch?
Yeah.
We get on to Cereen.
Oh, yeah.
Sure.
All right.
Move to the other couch.
We're off the couch.
Yeah.
We're off the couch.
Yeah.
We're going.
Should you hold your eye back on the couch?
Let's get back on it.
Well, we got off again.
All right.
I'm sitting on the couch.
I chased a four and a three-year-old all day.
I'm sitting on the couch.
No, I think she's playing like the game that she usually
plays.
She's just got this enact ability to socialize and interact
with people and get them to trust her and like her.
And she's so like pigly and laughing
and just like such great energy and good vibes
that you just, you can't hate her.
So we've seen over these six or however many seasons
of survivor that she's been on.
She charms everyone around her, makes everybody love her,
and then cuts their throats.
Why are they falling for it again?
Why does anyone fall for it again?
Is she so nice?
Is she so nice?
Like you just can't.
Anyone does like that.
I don't know.
Anybody who would fall for that.
So anyone who goes after Cereen gets acts.
That's what we'd see.
We don't want to go out.
I'm nervous for D, honestly.
D is coming out hard swinging.
She also looks a bit hypnotized while she's
saying she wants to vote off Cereen.
But she's like, I love her.
She said she had a friend who said to her,
hey, make sure you don't work with Cereen.
Who's this person?
And why are you, she's not playing in the game.
It's like, why would you, why would you even trust that?
Like be it in the moment.
Mel, I told my friend that before he went and played with Cereen.
And he's been cursed by the survivor God's ever since.
Although I will say, since I did play with her that first time,
she's so crafty, you really can't keep her around for too long.
Because she just nice and like, Mel.
Well, no, I mean, yeah, you sound like, are you Mel?
No.
OK.
I would have to get off the job.
I just say I love her, but you have to be very careful of her.
You have to be very strict.
So anytime Cereen is playing, you want her as your number one
on the other side.
Absolutely.
Parf, did you talk at all with Cereen before she played in season 50?
And did you, I don't know if she asks her advice,
or do you like to give people advice?
I just really pumped her up with challenges.
And I said, you got this.
You have trained now five seasons of survivor.
You're going out for your sixth season.
And you are going to destroy the competition.
You can win challenges.
Get people on your side.
I said, get an idol.
You need an idol.
She's like, I don't know.
I said, you can get an idol.
You can do it.
She's like, you think so?
I was just really hyping her up.
Now, you two on the villains tribe also
played with coach who's back for Coach 4.0 this season.
I'd love to get your feelings on.
What do you think of this new coach that's come back?
Actually, all three of you played with coach.
He's pretty honorable.
So much integrity.
You know, he's such a character.
When you're on the island with him,
and you're so lethargic and weak,
and you just have no sense of family.
He's just like just a nice, you know.
He just makes you laugh.
And he's just like, what are you saying?
The stories that he tells you don't even
know what he's talking about or if they're real stories
or if he's making them up, but you just,
he makes you feel at home.
Now, Daniel, Daniel, in addition to playing with coach,
you've actually acted with coach for 180.
Can you tell the difference between the authentic coach,
the player, and coach the Thessian?
Oh my God.
Yeah, that was an experience.
Yeah, that was the first film that I ever worked on.
And he asked me if I wanted to.
And I was in acting classes at the time.
And so I was like, sure.
He asked me if I wanted to do the film with him.
And he honestly wasn't that much different
than when he played Survivor.
It's very like, it felt like, it felt right.
I was like, oh, yeah, this is you.
This is really who you are.
The role he was born to play.
He's a man of honor and integrity.
And we love that about coach.
I am living for the coach, Ozzie drama.
Yeah.
Love it.
What about that?
Is this, do you see a difference between Ozzie and Oscar?
It's the hair, I think, mostly.
Yeah, I don't know about that hair.
Other than that, pretty much the same gameplay.
I know, I did surprise it tonight with his boat.
I thought he was going to stick with,
like, keep the traps strong, kind of dude play.
Yeah.
He switched it up.
OK, so we're switching it up to because we're going to,
we've got a fun format here tonight.
And we're going to bring out some more guests.
And we're so honored to have here an incredible podcaster
in his own right, of course, from Pod Save America.
John Love It is here.
Oh, my God.
Oh, hi.
Hi.
Hi.
Oh, my God, nice to meet you.
Hi.
How are you?
Good to see you.
OK.
Hi, everybody.
It's great.
I think it's, I think it's good that you finally
have my perspective on Survivor.
We have just so many great players up here all together.
Everybody who knows a thing or two about how to play Survivor.
Hi.
How are we doing so far, John?
What, like just as a live show?
Yeah.
You're doing a fantastic job.
Look at how great a time everybody's having.
And I got to say, like doing comedy
while previews for CSI Miami are going on is no easy feat
to keep everybody engaged.
I think you're doing an amazing job.
Can I give you maybe some podcasting tips?
Sure.
A little bit less of the, you know, the app, yeah.
Can I just say, here's, you know what I love about Survivor 50?
It's like every person brings the energy of the era they originally
played.
It has been so long since you had the kind of guy on Survivor
that's like, hey, it's a little piece of advice.
I don't know if you know this, but you're a woman.
And you're a woman.
And so that's, it's bothering some of the people.
So this tribe is too, this tribe, look, I love our tribe.
We have people and we have women.
And that makes it hard because some of the people
are finding the women a little bit, I don't know what it is.
It's something like your voice to me is worse.
I mean, even just like seeing you, I was like, wait a second.
Why were you a villain?
And I was like, oh, right, you were a woman.
Not wrong.
Stephen, what I really thought was fun about that moment.
I felt like that in that moment, I felt like that coach
felt like that he had become the Tyson.
Right, that was a beautiful circle moment.
Let me bring in, I'm going to give you some advice now.
And Tyson's advice to him was like, take the feather
out of your hair.
Stop being so ridiculous.
And his advice to Chrissy was like, keep it down.
And meanwhile, Chrissy is the only one who massaged his calf
when he was nearly dying out in the ocean.
A lot to think about, it's a lot to think about.
Never touch coach is the lesson learned.
I can't create massages, seriously though.
You've gotten a massage.
Oh, yeah, coach was very massage forward.
And it was very, yeah, yeah, like really like, yeah.
John, what did you think of at tribal council
when Mike White was telling the story?
And we gave him metaphor.
And then Christian, so rudely, interrupted Mike White.
And Jeff rightfully dressed down Christian
for interrupting Mike.
I would say, I would say just sort of technically,
I think what really was bothering Jeff
is it's like, you're fucking up my edit.
Like, you just decided I want to use what Mike is doing.
Now I have to use what Christians do.
And this is all going in the fucking shop.
That's what, that's partly what I thought was going on.
Boy, don't you all just feel for Stephanie imagining.
Look, Stephanie had this moment where she realized,
even though she's done nothing wrong
and that she might be removed from her home.
And it brought her to tears.
And so she looked around for compassion.
And she like struggled to find it.
And it just made me really feel for Stephanie.
Have you ever pooped your pen?
Yeah, see episode one of season 47 of Survivor.
By the way, I didn't they show that for 10 minutes.
Well, then yeah, what a show.
The way Christian, you were amazing the way you talked about it.
It cracked me up.
It was so good.
Can we bring Christian back up here?
I think I think he's not allowed to.
I think Christian's cousin is not
allowed to talk about survivor at this point in time.
Christian, yeah.
John, what else has caught your attention for season 50?
Okay, so one thing is I didn't realize
they kept making this show after the first episode
of season 47.
No jokes aside, I'll just say something true,
which is this sincerely,
this is the first episode of Survivor I Have Watched
since I was voted off to be honest.
Really, I love Survivor.
And it's, I was just like, I was on,
I was like, you know what, I'm stepping back.
I do things either zero or 100%.
I was like, I'm going to zero on Survivor,
but it's so fun to see everybody here
and to see all of you so enthusiastic about it.
This is a great way for me to like get back into Survivor.
Yeah.
You know, so I listened to the podcast you did
where you interviewed Cochran a couple of weeks ago
and of course, interviewed Parvity as well.
You talked a lot about Survivor South Pacific.
What have you thought about?
We are reheating the coach and Ozzy Nachos
from Way Back When.
Look, Nachos don't traditionally travel well.
No, I love, I think what's amazing about the season
is what it's bringing back a lot of,
I think the energy people miss from the old era.
I think there are people,
and I think people have a little bit of rose colored glasses
about what they loved about the old era.
I think they forget some of the ways
in which the new era has removed some of the slowness.
That was I think we were more accustomed to
and that our adult attention start ruined brains
wouldn't be able to handle.
But I think what it's also doing is
there's something that's happened in the newer seasons
where it's people who know the game,
who know they're playing with people who know the game,
and knowing that you're playing with people
who know you know the game,
changes how everyone plays the game.
And this has kind of flipped that
and brought back an old school kind of play
where it's less about strategy for its own sake
and strategy for the purposes of winning,
not to demonstrate you're the kind of player
who knows how to do strategy.
And it's just refreshing to be back
in that kind of gameplay
where it's not the performance of gameplay,
but gameplay itself.
And that was really, really fun to watch.
Yeah, yeah, part.
Okay, I had just had like five thoughts at once.
I think it's my concussion.
But I'm gonna focus on one thought
and that is Emily Flippin.
Are we up?
I am loving her chaos
and how she is now aligned with everyone,
but she like had this.
She got some secret information from an ally
at a tribe swap
and then she immediately tells a bunch of people
who she doesn't know that she's mad at the person
who gave her the intel
who was currently on her new tribe.
So was that a good move or a bad move?
It's wild, and I am here for it.
Because it worked out really well for her
then suddenly everyone wants to be her best friend.
Honestly, I'm like, Emily for president.
I will vote for her.
That's my girl.
She's total chaos.
And I feel like if I was out there,
I think she would be my best friend.
Answery, obviously.
Well, what I loved about it was that she did it
and then was very cool.
Like, I've made a terrible mistake.
Yeah.
She messed up and she gave him all of the details.
She didn't like hiding it.
I was mad and I can't put the toothpaste back in the tube.
And who hasn't been there?
No, and she's fully accepted for it and embraced.
And I love to see it.
Because everyone is just crying a lot on the beach
and they're like, does anyone like me?
Does anyone want to be my friend?
And Emily, it's just like, I'll be your friend.
Let me give you a big hug.
I don't know how I feel about you.
I'll keep you around in the game.
What she means with nobody likes you.
Nobody wants to be your friend.
But I'm here for you.
Yes, she is.
Nobody wants to be your friend, but I love you.
Spring is finally here.
And now that means that people are going to start seeing
what's been under your jacket that whole time.
And a good wardrobe comes down to pieces that mix well
and hold up over time.
That's what Quince does best.
They've got premium materials, thoughtful design
on everyday essentials that are easy to wear
and easy to rely on all year round.
Quince has a ton of stuff that I actually
am looking for in the closet.
Like weight, cashmere sweaters, short sleeve,
Mongolian cashmere polos, linen shorts, tees,
and 100% Pima cotton and European jersey linen
versatile pieces.
The key to survivor is versatility.
And that's what makes a great wardrobe work,
season of season.
And the stuff at Quince is rated between 4.5 and 5 stars
by thousands of people wearing them every day.
Guess what?
I'm one of them.
They work directly with top factories
and they cut out the middlemen, which means you're not paying
those inflated brand markups, just quality clothing
made to last.
This cashmere polo that I've got looks good feels expensive
and didn't cost a fortune, which isn't a bad thing
when you're not a reality TV show winner.

Well, I want to bring out two more people to this party, okay?
And so why don't we bring out, okay?
The millennials versus Gen X two, it's David, right?
Hedge Piro.
Woo!
No, no.
How are you?
Yes, how are you?
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, stay, stay, stay, stay, stay, stay.
Yeah.
Okay.
I thought we were getting questions.
I thought we were going to leave.
Is anybody want a party to leave yet?
We're safe, ain't no?
Okay.
Okay.
All right, here it is.
Hannah and David, how are you?
We're great, it's so cool to be back here
in this 900 person live show.
Yeah.
Not to jinx anything, I feel like the,
it's been six years ago tonight,
we did the last show before COVID, March 11th, 2021,
night just like here.
Hannah, I was sitting in the audience of like 900 people,
but I was safe because I didn't touch anybody.
Yes, we were like, should we hand the microphone to each other
or should we pure L first?
That was six years ago tonight, but that was North Hollywood.
So, John, everything's going okay now.
We don't need to worry about anything in the world.
Triggering, I think, for John.
Let's just keep going.
Yeah.
He's sitting very close.
Okay.
Now, David, your buddy Rick Devins is back.
Dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun,
I'd love to do that.
Yeah, no, it's so great to see him back.
He's my, my work husband and I was just talking to Christian.
There is two work husbands are here tonight.
Are you jealous?
You know, I kind of am.
Is that bad?
Yeah, no, I was sexy with Rick.
I'm really excited.
It's such a great season, no, it's awesome to see him again.
Did you give Rick any advice before season 50?
Do you know, he didn't even tell me he was blank.
What the hell?
And when I played 38, Aubrey didn't tell me either.
Like, what, what, and I didn't tell her either, I guess,
but Rick told me, David.
Sorry.
Rick told me.
He did?
Yeah, yeah.
Come on.
Okay, so I'm on the bottom clearly.
Barb, should they have had any edge of extinction
on season 50 with all these people?
Absolutely.
Get him out there, make him suffer.
I heard someone on this show say,
what I didn't come here to suffer and work hard.
Like, didn't someone say that in the beginning of the episode?
Yeah.
John, did we screw up in the survivor community
and not really mobilize the survivor fans
to vote the way we wanted them to?
What, what are you, what is, what are you taking issue with?
What are you not like?
You know what?
I actually think you want them to know.
Well, that wasn't the one of the things they voted on,
but I would say, I think it's false.
You miss fire token.
I think they love it.
No, that wasn't on the ballot either.
But I think I would have voted given them rice.
I think that most of the people that I talked to
in the survivor fan community would have said, give them rice,
don't make them earn the supplies,
even though we did get the coach and Aussie drama out of that.
But they seemed a little surprised
that there was a tribe swap.
There are all the things that were voted on.
Wait, didn't everyone vote for them to have rice?
I could have sworn the votes, right?
Yeah.
Well, like, is there a fair match?
John, you see, you seem a harbour about something.
Stop the counting.
Stop the counting.
They saw this thing as rigged.
Seize the voting machines.
They were supposed to get rice.
Wait, who voted for Jeff to do a rap?
Jeff voted for Jeff to do a rap.
That was an autocracy, I think.
That's, that was it.
Is this a new thing for him?
Do you think he's going to do this every time?
It seems like it's quite free for him.
It seems like he got really into it.
Retires from hosting Survivor.
He's a rapper.
He's starting that career, launching it hard now.
Rapper, Jeff Props.
Would you go to his show?
I mean, if he had a full-on rap show,
I mean, I guess I wouldn't be able to check out.
You'd have to podcast about it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Hannah, do you have a review on the rap that Jeff did?
Oh, I loved it as much as the Jeff Props show itself.
The famous talk show.
It was like you're dying, right?
We don't need them to suffer by, like, no rice,
because they're torturing each other emotionally out there.
Like, the way Riz God is just like, is this your trauma?
It was just great.
It was great.
Oh, my God, Charlie.
Shots of Charlie's eyes.
So, yeah, he did seem to be like,
I'm going to work with Charlie.
He wants a redemption story.
But then he made up of a lie.
And John, I know you didn't watch Survivor 49.
But he lied about what he actually did with his jury vote.
And the lie was what triggered Charlie?
Where the truth is, he really did vote for his loyal friend.
I think, right?
Well, he voted for Savannah.
But he was said, so, so-
Yeah, he said he voted for his friend, right?
Yeah, well, he said soapy was his best friend,
but that he didn't vote for her.
Yeah.
So, he doesn't deserve to have another jury vote.
He doesn't have a jury vote.
Was that a lie?
Was that, you know what I mean?
Honestly, Survivor 49, and I was like,
John, did you even watch that?
Maybe it, do I have it wrong?
Yeah, you know what?
With all the respect, as far as I'm concerned.
There's 50 cities in the world, you know.
I thought he was like telling a fake story.
Also, why did Hugh lie and say he had an extra vote?
Knowing full well, Ozzy was with him on the island
when he lost his vote.
And Ozzy knows he doesn't have a vote at all.
That's a really good point, because I was like,
oh, this is actually a good lie that Hugh told,
but I forgot that Ozzy was also there.
Yeah, but Ozzy's not telling anybody anything.
Well, we didn't see it, but I bet he did.
Yeah, Ozzy's like, I had the extra vote.
I haven't seen Ozzy's like, look, I got strategy.
I'm gonna tell you something I know.
LAUGHTER
What did you think about Ozzy giving his extra vote to Saray?
I love that move, and I love her being so pumped
to have an advantage.
This is what I told her to do.
I said, get it.
So you like it from Ozzy?
Obviously, you like Saray accepting it,
but you like Ozzy giving it.
No, let's do it.
LAUGHTER
Don't give away your extra vote, but we do know Ozzy.
OK, historically has not played advantages or idols well.
So fine, give them away.
Maybe that's the better option.
Well, let's talk about the Boomerang Island.
I don't think that's what it is.
Well, they go home with it in his pocket.
The Billy Eilish Boomerang Island.
I'm sorry, I don't know.
Billy Eilish Boomerang Island.
Yeah.
Can I just say, coming back to Survivor,
and everyone suddenly referring to the Billy Eilish Boomerang
idol, like I feel like I'm in like a parallel universe,
like, what the fuck is happening?
Like, why is this just part of the show?
I genuinely, like, it's branded Billy Eilish.
Like, what, like, is it a sponsor thing?
Did she involve, was she, did she, did she,
did she appeal in the first episode?
She was supposed to tell people to watch Survivor
if they did the idol, but I don't know what that happened.
I don't see the confusion.
It's amazing.
Everything should have a celebrity name.
It should be like Barack Obama's tribal council.
Like, we need to leave in.
The confusion is what's happening to the guy.
I love her name.
Poor names, not less name.
I can't wait to watch them freak out over Mr. Beast.
Like, yeah, that, get ready.
I did think it was funny, because every time they have
to say it in the confessional, you hear them, like,
really have to say, the Billy Eilish Boomerang idol,
and Suri, when her confessional tonight,
the way that she was doing it seemed like that this might
have been, like, take nine or 10 for Suri.
She was like, yeah, so Devon told me about the Billy Eilish
Boomerang idol.
Like, very performative of the Billy Eilish Boomerang idol.
Do you think that Charlie was actually so triggered
that he found out that Billy Eilish was the person
who contributed the idol and not Taylor Swift?
You see his face so stoked.
Charlie's fully traumatized this episode.
I am worried about him.
Does someone check on Charlie?
What an incredible scene that was, like, the fact
that the cameraman just was there, and, like,
had the presence of my own funny, yeah.
Just so funny.
I loved this episode.
I enjoyed it.
Start to finish.
There were tears.
There was concussions.
There was crazy people making up lies.
Mike White, cue the cue Mike White scene, where Mike is, like,
I'm going to vote for cue, but I'm not going to tell him.
And then cue is, like, vote for me.
Come on.
Stop.
It's so bad.
Can I talk about a small thing?
OK.
So someone says, our tribe has brains,
and they show Aubrey.
Then our tribe has brawn and someone strong.
And then everything in between.
And they went to Tiffany.
And Tiffany is that that is not an insult,
but it's certainly not a compliment.
How did, because it was made in the ship,
that wasn't, like, the show did that.
The different, you know?
Woman.
But it was just sort of like, what is it, I see.
Oh, woman.
Interesting.
I just, I noticed it.
OK.
OK.
I'm seeing.
On that note, OK.
Parvati and Danielle, thank you so much for being here with us.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Are we voted out for vote?
Yeah, we, you know what?
We only have so many counts.
Concert, everybody, do we leave right now?
We got to get so many more people.
I'm allowed to say so far.
We'll get off the couch one more time.
We'll get off the couch one more time.
OK.
I'm going to be signing books and taking photos out here.
So come with me.
Here with us to join us from Survivor 48.
We have with us.
Here comes Shaheen Thomas and Say.
The fact that I'm taking a microphone.
I'm staying here.
I don't know where I'm going.
John, does this what you do on Love It or Leave It?
We have other guests.
Come on and other guests leave.
Yeah, I think the key thing is to have people should just find out what the show is on
the show.
On the show.
I like it.
It's exciting.
It's live.
Yeah.
It's beautiful.
It's like the survivor experience.
That's right.
Yeah.
On this show.
First of all, the fact that I just took a microphone from poverty is unnecessary, OK?
I want to just acknowledge that I have no business holding a microphone over her.
But I am thrilled to be here.
Thank you for having me.
I appreciate it.
And then also the fact that I'm sharing a couch with John Love It, who I've been listening
to on Potsy of America for.
Forever.
I'm a speech and debate nerd.
I've been the coach of a speech and debate team.
And my team listens to him religiously.
So thank you for coming out.
I appreciate it.
It's very nice.
It's very nice to be to say.
Wow.
It was really luck that you got her mic in this couch, really.
Yeah.
Really?
Not since Coach Met Joe, have I heard such accolades?
The 48 people, what did you think about where coach thanking Joe for bringing honor
and integrity back to Survivor?
You know, I'm a little speechless.
Best choice they could have made.
Yeah.
I just feel like it kind of proved me right, if I'm being honest.
Do you know what I mean?
Bindication.
He was our sweet Titanic that you can't turn last minute.
And like the fact that even coach is like honored integrity.
It's like your entire vibe.
Like you can't lie to Joe.
He's going to lose his mind.
Hannah?
I just like, where was Joe when I was having my panic attack?
Is my question?
Yeah.
Yeah, no, nobody gives a better hug than Joe for sure.
It is, it is an incredible hug to get.
It was one of those things that I was bummed about.
I don't know if you guys know this, but you're not allowed to cuddle on Survivor anymore.
Did you know this?
Because I heard everything about that.
And so now that men have ruined everything,
I come down to the hotel lobby and I see Joe.
And I think, man, I really would like to cuddle that man, wouldn't you?
And I see him and I think, man, I really would like to cuddle that man, wouldn't you?
And I was able to cuddle neither.
Do you know that Joe and I did cuddle?
That's bullshit.
Yeah.
I knew it.
I knew it.
I knew it.
Before Kyle and Camilla voted me out instead of you.
It was thanks Camilla.
Yeah.
Thanks Camilla.
Yeah.
I do love Camilla.
I love Kyle too.
No, that night was really, really cold, do you remember?
Because we didn't have fire.
Yes.
And Joe snuggled me all night long.
Wow.
Production have dropped.
Sure, he, were you relieved that Genevieve didn't go through your bag?
Or I could have gone through that Genevieve could have gone through Kyle's bag.
That was a good move by her to not go through Kyle's bag.
And also hilarious that she tried to kind of do the same thing that I was trying to do
at the time, which was build a relationship by putting everyone in on a lie together,
which is we all are going to lie about having gone through this bag.
But that's a big risk.
And so it's surprising that it hasn't come out yet.
It hasn't come out yet, right?
That she went through her bag.
Does anybody know?
Does she know that her bag was gone through?
I don't think so.
No.
So she did a better job of it that I did.
She was more thorough.
So we had this like big scene between Rick.
So you were just talking about Joe as the, the ship that you can't turn.
And I'm curious like for your guys perspective, like with this huge scene with like Rick and
Joe.
Now, obviously you know Joe, but you're also saying like Joe can't be moved, you know?
And in a way, maybe that suggests some empathy with Rick.
Like where do you guys who have played with him, like come down on that, on that conflict?
I think I've made myself clear about the whole thing.
I, I think that Joe is predictable.
I think he is someone that early, especially you want someone who's going to be loyal.
And so you can, you can work with Joe.
And the idea that you can't work with Joe was like, I don't understand that now.
If you want to play a fast and loose game like Devons wants to play, that's, that's not
going to fly.
Those two things, he's playing fast in this.
We even saw it with Christian and Emily, who are, I mean, Christian who's in the alliance
with Devons, right?
Emily does this thing where she gives away the farm.
And Christian kind of just goes, okay, I guess we're still, I guess we're still working together.
That would not have worked.
I don't think with Joe.
David, do you want to rebuttal?
Well, no, I just want to say that, like, I mean, first of all, it's so weird like hearing
people say Devons and Jeff say Devons because I think I say Rick, I said Rick out there,
but no, I mean, you're saying that's how, that's how I can set this brand now.
He's Devons, but the thing that I, that I really experienced out there when I play with Rick
is that he was very emotional.
He's an emotional player, but he just needs a little time, then he can get over it.
So I think he can pivot and it's, you know, it's not a done deal.
I would say the same about Joe, he is a very emotional player too.
And I wonder like, I think that, that has to be necessary for the blow up that we saw.
You don't get that blow up with one person who's just like calm, cool, collected and not like that.
It's because they both have those similarities.
And that's kind of the interesting thing about it.
They both see the game in such different ways.
And yet they're having to share a log and figure out who they're supposed to vote out.
Interesting.
Say, I'm, I'm curious from you, for your, about your perspective here on the Billie Eilish Boomerang Idol.
Is it frustrating to you to see idols that are sent from one camp to another
and not advantageous that you can like physically outrace someone to, to grab?
I wish they got to taste each other a little bit more.
That would have been epic, but I would have hated to give away my idol after I just found it.
But I don't know if I would have preferred them to make it harder for you to find an idol.
Like I did mine was so freaking hard, so maybe it is better to give it away and play with somebody.
But I wouldn't give it to somebody who's getting voted off next.
Like I would have given it to Q.
Thomas, can you talk about what has been the music industry's reaction to the Billie Eilish Boomerang Idol?
And why wasn't it the C.A. Idol?
Honestly, too, Shay.
I do wish Billie would engage, like still nothing, right?
Not yet, nothing still.
Because like when she was touched to that interview about loving to see a suffer,
I was like, great, okay.
And when I heard about the Billie Eilish Boomerang Idol,
which I feel like you legally have to say the full thing.
Yes.
I was really excited to like see some real involvement because I forgive me,
but like not that stoked about Zach Brown coming toward us, like visually, emotionally,
whatever this is going to do.
But Billie, I think it would have been fun.
And it is kind of, I think it's a little sad.
I think it's a miss op inner scope.
I love you.
But if it was Sony, they would have done it better.
Be a work with inner scope.
Live is on inner scope.
Yeah, we're pro inner scope.
But I'm just saying this is a miss top.
I think it's a miss top.
It's almost like the Billie Eilish Boomerang Idol is asking, what am I made for?
On that, John, I just want to say that that was very good.
Thank you.
I thought you did a good job.
That was a good joke.
Yeah.
All right.
Well, John, thank you so much for being here with us.
Oh, thanks for having me, everybody.
OK, it was all right.
See you on the traders.
All right.
It was such an honor.
Thank you.
All right, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye.
Bye, everybody.
OK, bye.
Thanks, John.
Bye, bye, bye.

I think we're getting a little tight on the couch.
Is anybody else ready to go to head to the bullpen?
Yeah, I can head to the bullpen drop.
Okay.
Had anything else you want to add?
I think it's me and David, but I just want to make sure that you guys, is there anything else
you wanted to say?
It's just so fun to be back here.
Great.
Nice to meet you.
Thank you.
Great to see you.
I'd die on the white lotus, hand a shirt, say, if you listen to the podcast.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Let's bring out here, okay?
We have the great Zach Wurtberger, and you won.
Hello.
Hi.
Yes, absolutely.
How are you guys doing?
I'm doing great.
Oh my gosh.
We replaced John Lovett and Hannah.
What a downgrade.
I don't know if I feel cool enough to be up here.
What the heck?
Hi everybody.
Good.
John, can you correct the record on Rizzo's story on who is his best friend and who he voted
for?
They all hated me, so I don't know.
I assume like Rizzo and Savannah were besties.
Yeah.
Don't tell that the sofa.
So was the soapy thing a lie?
I don't know.
That's very interesting.
Why would he lie about that?
Savannah's already been voted off at that point, right?
Like, so it's not like he's trying to lie to his relationship with Savannah.
I thought he was trying to hide it.
Yeah.
That's why he said that.
But it's, so she's gone.
Yeah.
That's interesting.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Zach, how are you feeling about Survivor 50?
I'm really loving it.
I've been, I've been excited since Rick Devins told me he was playing honestly.
I just, I knew this was going to be a good season.
I did relate a lot to Charlie too, because I really do have, I have trauma as well.
Yes.
What was your trauma?
And it's crazy, because it's like, I was only there for so little.
Like, how could I solve trauma?
I do.
When I see someone who's not on Jonathan's tribe.
Yes.
That is what's giving me trauma, because it is, it is playing the game on cheat codes.
And I really felt that way from the moment I saw him in the elevator.
So you didn't specifically mean trauma about Maria.
You meant some just generalized trauma.
Oh, Maria's.
She hasn't done anything to me.
Yeah.
I also will say I was.
I've never felt more redeemed.
Been watching Emily flippin play.
And thinking to myself.
When I play clock tower with her.
I'm not crazy.
She is.
But what's so amazing about Emily.
And I feel this way with clock tower two is I'll give her some info.
She will immediately tell everyone.
And think I'm suspicious because I told her info.
But then she comes back and apologizes.
And we should add relevant Emily has the highest win rate of anyone in our clock.
So she does.
There's something special with that where it's you screw someone over and then immediately apologize.
And they're like, I guess I trust you.
Fine.
I love that.
Yeah.
What's been your reaction to season 50?
I mean.
It's so weird being so close to like a legend season.
Like I know like.
49 like I feel like even Jeff was like, yeah, yeah, yeah, let's wrap this up.
But like no, like I think it's so cool watching 50.
You see it's a re and Aussie in coach.
Like not to lie a little bit of FOMO, but like oh my gosh, it's so good.
You know, I don't think we've talked enough about Q going home.
Because I did not think coming into tonight that Q was going to be in danger at all.
And I feel like we're really going to feel his loss as the season goes on.
This is like the with all due respect to the first couple of boots.
This is the one that I feel like we're really going to miss because Q brings so much to every season that he's on.
He went out in a way that I think he would enjoy though.
I feel like this is Q's brand, which is vote for me.
And that's how he went out.
He finally went out the way he really wanted.
He went out doing the thing he loved is what I'm trying to say.
Which is telling people to vote for him.
And they did.
So congratulations, Q. You did it, buddy.
Took you two seasons, but you did it.
He also did something remarkable in the new era, which is breaking the fourth boot gay curse.
Oh, wow.
Oh, is this only something that I think about not?
Well, that was a big I was like, what?
I was like, it's Aussie or Mike tonight.
I was like, it's that's it.
The gods have said this.
And then it was so so maybe Q's not telling us something.
Wow.
Or is it that we're now officially in a different era?
Is the new era now?
Is that was that the new era?
Just let me have a moment with Q.
Okay.
Hey, I would not stop you.
So when Q ends up, he looks like he's doing great when he first arrives because he has Stephanie.
And then he talks to Aussie.
They rekindle the exo island alliance.
And then it looks like they have Emily flipping for a minute before then she starts to talk
with Angelina.
And then she gets pulled in by the David versus Goliath three.
Well, can we talk about that weird moment where like Emily says.
So she gives, you know, this information of the idol.
They're over the moon.
Q's like, you can eat in my house now.
You know, like Stephanie is excited.
They're welcoming her.
And she's like, and that's when I got suspicious of them.
Yeah.
Like what?
Like what happened there?
Because like literally it was the fact that they were so welcoming that killed her out.
Well, I think what you have to think about is you're like, all right.
You're Emily, right?
It's like, all right.
Here's the plan.
Emily, it's going to be me, Aussie, Stephanie, we're going to rocks for Q.
That was the plan because it was three votes.
They didn't have a cubo.
So there was no other play for her.
I mean, it was literally just going to be the David versus Goliath three or go to rocks for Q.
But she doesn't know Q doesn't have a vote.
I mean, if Aussie is playing any kind of game, he'd be like, find a way.
We go down this row.
This is kind of what's going to happen here.
So there really wasn't any other choice for her.
Would be kind of interesting if Aussie didn't say anything to Emily and tried to you instead of using that information.
Like, hey, I'll jump with you.
Let me be with you.
And I wonder if that's a risk that he was willing to take.
Because I think Aussie has to see that he, that that's a dangerous place to be is against those three against the three is a dangerous place to be.
I'm just so tired of talking about the men.
It's just so male happy.
Who do you want to talk about?
The women, the women are kicking absolute butt.
And I thank you and release the Tiffany edit.
But like, all the girls are carrying Suri, Dee, Tiff.
Like, let's talk about the girls, Aussie, cool, whatever.
But in conjunction two, Suri, we're talking about Emily.
Joe in conjunction two.
Who's Joe working with men?
Okay.
Okay. Can I ask you, what do you think about the Genevieve versus Aubrey?
I know, I hate women on women crime, but you wanted this.
And I also loved women on women crime in my season.
So I don't even know what to talk about.
But Aubrey and Genevieve is interesting.
Okay.
Because Aubrey has always been suspicious of Genevieve.
And I'm not going to lie to you.
I would be suspicious of Genevieve.
She's funny.
She's finding things.
Like, those are all reasons that you need to go home.
So I'm team Aubrey.
Okay.
Did Genevieve overplay that?
Did like, by like telling literally everybody?
Was that like too much?
Did Genevieve misplay her?
Did she just get unlucky in that like, Tiff and Arty, you know?
We don't talk about luck enough.
I think she just got unlucky in that case.
Yeah.
I mean, Joe changed coaches like.
He brought it back.
He brought it back.
Like, that's the kind of bond that you can't break.
Yeah.
Okay.
All right.
To our friends from Survivor 48.
Thank you so much for being with us.
Appreciate you coming out.
Thank you everybody.
Here.
Joanne.
Why don't you consolidate over here?
And let's bring in some friends from Survivor 45.
Whoa.
It's Brandon.
Kendra and Brando.
And Austin.
Paul?
No.
I'll go see you.
Yes.
What's going on?
We're big on hugs in the new era.
So let us just all hug.
Big hugs for everybody.
Everybody in the podcast loves it.
Yes.
Okay.
How are you all doing?
Great.
How are you doing Rob?
Yeah.
This is so fun.
This is really fun.
Yes. Okay.
I'd love to hear a little bit about the Survivor 45 representation so far.
It's been so cool, especially seeing Emily flippin in the middle of a swap.
I mean, come on.
The three of us on this couch.
What more do you want to see?
It's been really funny tonight because we're like, oh my gosh, we're seeing her do it again.
Just in the middle, playing the middle, but I'm so proud of her.
It's so fun to watch your friends play Survivor.
You don't realize it.
And then it's happening.
And she's just playing her own game.
And I'm really, really proud of her for that as messy as it is.
That's why we love her.
Come on.
Come on.
Yes.
Is she playing a different game than she was playing before?
I mean, you saw her early days on Lulu.
Lulu.
Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
Messiest mess tribe of all time.
Is this game, is her game changed?
No, not particularly.
With this is more reminiscent of that my time on Survivor is the time that all of us have played like Mafia with her.
It's just an Airbnb like during one of these things because she doesn't necessarily go for optimal gameplay in Mafia.
Like she doesn't care what role she is.
She doesn't care what role everybody else is.
She just wants to make it fun and like confuse everybody, which is like, that's my that's my friend.
That's my friends do it.
It's super fun.
Is that why she was okay with going after Q on this vote is Q occupying her lane?
It's interesting, but I also thought like you didn't come off as like for what I think we all expected in terms of Q's chaos level going into Survivor 50.
He was like crushing it like for quite like on the original tribe and even a little bit here.
I didn't expect him to come in and be so like game focused.
I've got to ask about D because you know, D is really worried here that Suri is too charming.
Do yourself as someone who has been considered too charming by some like what is your is this the sort of like rivalry of extremely charming players like what's the what's the what's the you know, I don't think these that charming to be honest.
I don't know.
Overrated there, you know, I love this.
That's so funny.
I will say I love D talking about her intuition because that is one of her strongest things.
She's like, yeah, I you can see this like glaze go over her eyes. It was hilarious.
She's like, I love Suri.
I don't know what to do.
And then she checks herself and comes back in is like, you know what, I am going to know what to do.
And I think that's why we see D back on the beach again.
Well, do any of you know who this male person is?
Yes, Brandon, you do.
I have hung out with Mel many times.
She has put on her Instagram story within the last hour.
He has seen your messages.
You have made it loud and clear how you feel.
She is apologetic, I believe.
But if you go on D's Instagram story right now, she did reshare a compilation of the many hate tweets that have been sent towards D.
But no, but she shouldn't do that.
Like sometimes it's warranted to do that.
I wanted to be clear, I told D to go for Suri in terms of working with her times a thousand.
You know, you want to go to the person who like is going to be the central narrator on the trip.
So if you're work, if you're on a trip with Suri, you can see it with like Izzy.
Izzy is like Izzy and Suri now have this lifelong thing.
Go for Suri if you're on the trip with her.
Don't go for her.
But go for her.
Yeah.
I still think there's like a 50, 50 chance that Suri is going to be voted out.
And he's like, you know what, just make it me.
I just, please.
Tonight was the blindfold challenge, which many of you know, I'm not a fan.
You know, we get some cheap yaks of people getting concussions.
But I just, I'm surprised that we've never lost anybody like on the blindfold challenge.
I got to say, I really felt like we were reheating Bruce's nachos.
Yeah.
We actually did lose someone during a blindfold challenge.
Yes.
The one and only Russell swan.
Yeah.
But that wasn't necessarily because he was blindfolded.
Didn't he?
That was the puzzle though.
But did he?
When he was blindfolded.
Well, I think those heating's awesome.
Now we're being ticky-tack about me being in jawon.
The fact that he didn't have a blindfold on didn't affect his feet.
He's done a lot of blindfold challenge in the new era.
No, you know, they've done it back.
Yeah.
I don't even get it on.
42 was the second challenge.
That's, oh, that's tip of like old school.
Like I feel like that the second challenge is often a blindfold challenge.
They usually do it around that spot.
It's so funny in the 50 compilation they did in the start of episode one.
They have that shot, which is so visceral in my mind that I'm glad
that we're all seeing it again of, of spent or Raymond.
I'm sorry, getting hit in the shin with that piece and screaming,
which is, oh, my God, that's like rough.
You know what I mean?
Anybody have a take on the rough?
Can we vote for that?
Can you vote for Raymond's shin?
So you guys have all, I mean, you five of you have played with, you know,
winners who are on this season.
I'm curious of you at a sense of they went in knowing, you know,
that there could be an extra target there.
And if there was like, if they were trying to like correct for that and like,
how that affected their strategy going in.
What did you talk to Savannah at all beforehand?
No.
During your survivor season.
Yeah.
Yeah.
We had many talks about bags and water bottles and stuff,
but no, I didn't get a chance to.
I think, actually, can we just clap it up for Savannah?
I think she did really good.
Yeah.
I think she did really good based off of the target.
I can't even imagine like, how about Riz God?
How do you think he's doing?
He's God.
Let's call it up for Riz God too.
I mean, yeah.
Yeah.
Like really funny episode with him tonight.
Yeah.
I was saying Charlie snapshot in my mind forever.
Yeah.
The crowd.
You all had such a big reaction to Charlie saying that he was going to vote
out Rizzo because of that was the big mistake.
Rob.
I feel like it's such a backwards effect,
because I think most people have this weird thing with Rizzo.
They're like, oh, I hate him at first.
And then they kind of like, oh, he's not that bad.
You saw that with Kobe.
Kobe.
Now we see the opposite with Charlie.
He was like, oh, Billie Eilish.
And he's like, wait a minute.
You gave me a blast night.
Yeah.
Which was a cool flashback.
Can I also just say, I think if I were Sia, I would be so offended.
That she is probably given out upwards of a million dollars.
Over.
Absolutely.
And the moment she stops donating, she was dust.
They're naming things after Billie Eilish.
They're casting Taylor Swift's best fan.
And how many chickens have they brought back?
And they brought back 25 chickens.
It's going to replace the fire making challenge who can prep and kill this chicken.
But not the chicken we're all hoping for.
Steve chicken Morris.
Damn.
Okay.
All right.
So we have a treat here for everybody here tonight.
Is Eric.
Is Eric backstage?
Are we ready?
Let's give it a bring back our great friend Eric Barger.
Eric.
Who?
Eric who sang the survivor.
No, it all theme song live as we had Stephen back here with us.
But he's here to play another tune for us.
Take it away, Eric.
Well, I started with the wrong chord.
Many moons ago, a great and wise wizard named Stephen Fishback created an award.
Oh, God.
That would serve as a symbol of survivor greatness.
And it was known as the fishy word.
Yeah.
It's time to see who passed the test.
Who's Stephen Fishback being placed survivor the best.
If you don't get it, don't get pissy.
It's time to what the fishy.
Thank you.
That's so beautiful.
I wish we could turn the volume way up on that.
Thank you, Eric.
Thank you, Eric.
Okay.
Wonderful.
All right.
Live musical intro for the fishy.
How about this?
Oh, my gosh.
Well, I want everybody's opinion here because I have a strong.
I don't know if we have time for everybody.
I want a few people's opinion.
Yeah.
Can I ask a question?
Oh, yeah.
What's the fishy?
Don't hate on me.
I'm being curious.
It's a fairy.
I don't understand it.
It's a broken system that rewards losers for losing.
Okay.
30 only gives them to his friends.
I don't know.
I got to vote my quite.
All right.
Is it bad?
I want to say Emily.
Is it bad?
I mean, she did a lot wrong, but she wasn't going home.
All right.
Anybody else?
Anyone?
I also have to say Emily.
I feel like that whole thing where she, you know, kind of blew up Christian and Rick's idol.
I feel like she was getting, like, she was almost making up for, like, the fact that when she
was working with me and Drew and kind of got screwed later on, I feel like she was, like,
going extra and just blew up from that.
But she was able to somehow turn that blunder into getting everyone on her side.
So Emily.
I mean, call it 45 bias.
I'm also team Emily.
The girl has only missed one tribal council so far in two seasons of survivor.
It's not a hot.
It's hot.
It's a break.
Yeah.
Okay.
I can't throw out a name that hasn't been said yet.
So Emily was working with Q and Ozzie until she had a conversation with Angelina.
And Angelina and she hit it off.
She's like, oh, my God.
I could work with the David versus Goliath three.
Yeah.
I made a terrible mistake.
I need to tell Christian what I did.
I want to talk through that because I am thinking Mike White because I thought Mike had such an incredible
episode.
Mike rejoins basically with all of what he said are all of his friends on the island.
The David versus Goliath three and Ozzie who whom he knows from Angelina.
And Mike is the first person to throw out Q's name.
He tells everyone he's voting for Stephanie, which I thought was really smart.
Like get all the heat on Stephanie.
You know, and he does it in this sort of like completely disarming way.
He was like, well, I'm just going to vote for you guy.
You know, and then it turns out it's like all a ruse.
And he's just like getting the votes on you.
Um, and then he gets Q in fact to offer himself to be voted for, which he agrees to.
And I think like Mike is in the best position after this because he's got his three.
He's got, you know, getting rid of Q here, like brings Ozzie basically closer to him, right?
Because Ozzie is like his buddy too, but like Ozzie was sort of like tempted by, you know, the Q bromance.
And now like he's, he's got to come back to Mike.
And so I felt like the move was Mike's idea.
It really benefits him strategically.
Um, it puts him in the best position that he could be in it.
But I like Angelina too. Like, like, like, like, talk me through it.
Like, where are you on the map?
No, I think they were, uh, ultimately there was more there with Mike White.
I think that Angelina started it, but I think that Mike directed it.
And so I agree. I concur a fishy for Mike White.
The other thing too is like Angelina is like Mike's David versus Goliath shield in a way.
You know, like they're all fixated on voting Angelina out.
They're not talking about voting Mike White out.
So the longer Angelina's in the game, like the more like, you know, he's got some protection.
Okay.
Great job, Steven.
Great live fishy for everybody.
Okay.
Juwan and Zach, anything else you want to get off your chest tonight?
Uh, I just want to let Mike White know that I also voted for you.
So just keep that in mind in the future.
Uh, and I got to say Mel, where were you for Big Brother 25?
Couldn't tell any of them, but thank you so much for having me.
And it's, uh, it's just incredible to be here. These are the best shows ever.
Thank you so much, Zach.
Thank you, Juwan.
Uh, just hopped in with the glitter audience.
Yeah.
Can we just pop it up for Rob and Steven being here?
Like as a fan, I'm like, so this is really cool.
Sorry.
On December 12th, Disney Plus invites you to go behind the scenes with Taylor Swift in an exclusive
six episode docu-series.
I wanted to give something to the fans that they didn't expect.
The only thing left is to close the book.
The end of an era.
And don't miss Taylor Swift, the era's tour, the final show featuring for the first time
the torture poets to format.
Streaming December 12th, only on Disney Plus.
All right.
Thank you guys both.
We've got here with us also a real treat here with us.
Two old friends are back with us.
It's Bradley Clyde.
Wow.
And new dad Max Dawson.
Yes.
Guys.
Hey.
How are you?
What's going on?
Thank you.
Yes.
Hey, Bradley.
What's up?
Max, too, was with us back on March 11th, 2020.
Yeah.
Remember that?
I can't figure out if we should do this more often or if we should never do this.
Yeah.
Good.
I mean, look, so far tonight is going a much smoother.
Although I do feel a little.
I don't know.
But thank you for saving the best for last.
Yes.
Well, thank you.
The two most popular seasons of Survivor well represented here on season 50.
Something that they want to remember.
A lot.
Worlds apart and.
Yeah.
Go style.
I couldn't even remember.
Reverse the curse.
I think the brand steel has officially broken.
Yeah.
Bradley, how are you?
I'm great.
Yeah.
Thank you.
Excited to be back.
What's been your reaction to season 50?
This is actually the first three episodes of Survivor I've seen since I got voted off.
Wow.
Do you know who won your season?
It was very close.
It was a tie wasn't there.
Yeah.
No, so it's been a lot of fun, right?
Because I think what's it's fun because we're watching people that I grow up watching.
But then also at the same time, I think we've had more of a throwback to personality driven survivor,
which is my favorite kind of survivor.
Max, what's been your reaction to season 50?
I too have taken a little hiatus.
This is the first three episodes in a row that I've watched since season 40.
And it feels good to be back.
I'm loving this season.
So many of my all time favorites are here.
I'm finding myself falling in love with some of the new players.
And I just want to give a shout out to.
It's a great honor to be here for Christian Hubecki, though.
He has watching him play as a new dad, as I'm sitting at home watching literally with my daughter in my lap,
who is six weeks old now, which I understand to be the age Christian son was, when he was out there.
It really gives you meaning to the eternal question of what are you playing for?
What are we playing for?
out there. The joy he plays the game with the skill, the enthusiasm and knowing what
he has back home has just made it a very emotional viewing experience for me these last
three weeks.
Public.
It's really nice. Can you beat that, Bradley?
I listen, I just only I live in fear of the day when my daughter finds season 30 episode
two on paramount plus HBO Max, Comcast Peacock, plus Disney, whatever it is. Well, then I could
give you some reassurance here as a dad who's further along in this than even Steven.
My kids do not have a lot of interest in going back and watching old episodes of Survivor.
Yes.
And also my wife doesn't let them. I showed my children the that they were like, Dad, did
you ever win the immunity challenge? And I showed them the immunity challenge that I won
from Survivor the Amazon. And I turned it like, Hey, watch this guys. And they're like,
it's a quiz. What is this big brother? And the first question in the quiz was Jeff's
like, who in the tribe do you have a crush on? And they're like, Oh my God, what is this?
Why is he like this? I'm like, Look, that's why it was okay. And they were like, Well, this
is weird. We don't like this.
You got to show them the Coca-Cola machine and the jungle. I feel like kids would get
behind that. Nicole said no more Survivor the Amazon. That was it. But they weren't really
that interested, to be honest. That's reassuring. I don't need my child to see my bear ass
on television. My partner hasn't even watched. I won't even let her watch. I'm afraid she'll
take the child away from me. So yeah, maybe they'll stumble on a YouTube compilation
maybe, but that's about it. The attention span isn't there.
Badly a question. Yes. You famously got to hear the wraps of Chris Noble. Oh, you did
hear wrapping tonight. What do you think is a better a better piece of music? Like, what
would you listen to sooner with headphones on Spotify? Great question, Brandon. Thank you.
Yeah. So I think tonight's probably a better piece of music, but entertainment value. It's
Chris Noble all the way. Yeah. He's an absolute legend. You don't want to live with him for
a whole week on a beach, but he's great. If you haven't watched a lot of Survivor, do you
think that Jeff has been wrapping a lot since you've been gone? Yeah. I'm wondering if this
is the with the new era every episode of the new era or something. Yeah. What do you know
of the new era? What have you heard? Um, I've heard Eliza say it's not as hard as it was
back when we played Survivor. No, I have only respect for anyone who puts themselves out on
Survivor. I think that regardless of what happens in Fiji, the social media environment that these
players are existing within is far more harsh than anything we could have ever envisioned or
imagined even in the 30s. And so, um, you know, I hear, uh, I hear that the vibes are very
different. It's a positive family-friendly show. And they actually talk about the vibes a
lot. And considering what's going on in the world, maybe that's a good thing. Still, like 26 days,
it's got to be easier, right? I mean, I don't know. Brandon, what do you think?
The days out. I know we were close to 26 when the first thing I could think of when Jeff was
doing his little song and dance for us was I heard that they're trying to direct this more towards
kids. Is that true? Like the audience of kids? Is that? Kids love watching, uh, you know,
generational game show hosts rapping. They love that. They love 65. I think that's what the kids
want. Yeah. On the kids' argument. I mean, I, again, I've said this before. I'm 11 years old
watching Randy and Maddie fight over that ball to put in that little challenge in Gabon. And
that was, that was cinema. Shout out to Rizzo who's not. So you didn't, you know, the vibe,
we love the vibe change, but Survivor has always been for the kids. Can I ask a strategy sort of
question? Is that okay? Okay. Okay. Um, so this was the swap, right? And in each of these
tribes, there was one person, like, like, there was like, they were like predominantly two groups,
and then one person, one solid person. It didn't seem to be an issue at all, right? Like, nobody
seemed like worried that Rizzo was the one person from original thought to Mike was the one person
from original collo. Um, and Joe was the one person from original seal, which I knew off the top
of my head for those listening at home. Um, not, yeah. But so we have many people on this bench
who are swap screwed. Like, is the swap screw no longer a thing? Like, is that not relevant anymore?
Because y'all, y'all were all basically swap. I mean, like, I have a viewer swap screw.
I mean, I think there's always a way out of a swap screw if you're a good enough
talker. Um, I mean, for example, Emily, one of the first things she came to, to, to me,
to say, uh, when we swapped on the bellow was Drew has an advantage. Um, so I knew that Drew had
the safety without power because Emily couldn't stop running her mouth. Uh, but you know,
maybe I was, I was in Q's position because I just couldn't find a way to make it work for me.
Yeah. I mean, we were in the exact same position. It was two bellows, two rebuzz, and then we had
Emily in the middle. And I think, at least for us, and at least for me and Drew, there was never a
thought to send home the person in the middle. It was who can get the person in the middle to be
on your side because the entire season leading up to that. It was, you know, Lulu was getting
decimated. So we were thinking it's going to be a rebo versus bellow. We have to win Lulu.
Okay. You know, Steven, when I was in San Francisco, the last time we did a live
show on the West Coast, we had a big announcement. And that announcement was that I was going to
join Steven Fishback as an author and that my book, The Tribe and I have spoken was going to be
coming out this May. And I have announcements for you tonight. Steven, of course, you wrote the
amazing forward to this book, but we have been telling people to pre-order the book. And I've
really, I've learned from the best when it comes to telling people about pre-ordering the book.
So we have a couple of pre-order things that we've been telling people about. I'm very excited
to announce tonight that for the pre-order people, the most special people there are for the
Tribe and I have spoken truly. We have for you a digital bonus chapter of The Tribe and I have
spoken that I have taken on the Herkulean task of the ultimate survivor rights of passage.
Attribute to all of you here, all 751 players in survivor history,
gone back and written the ultimate survivor rights of passage as a bonus for people who pre-order
the Tribe and I have spoken. Wow, yes. How many of them are like, don't remember you?
No, we remember all, we remember them all. So that's one thing that we're doing. And then we are
also having a very special raffle for everybody who pre-orders the book because all spring,
we have been all over the place getting every survivor we see to sign one copy of The Tribe
and I have spoken and that one special copy is going to go to the winner of the raffle from the
pre-orders here for The Tribe and I have spoken. And to that, we ask you worth pre-ordering for.
Oh yeah. We also have a raffle that we did here tonight for people. We have a signed poster of
everybody that was here on the stage with us and Steven, we're going to spit it up and I'm going
to pick out four winners here of this special raffle here tonight. One, two, three, four,
even pick one of these people and they're going to win a very extra special prize. I think it's
five here. Okay. Take one and throw it out. Just one and take one and throw it in the garbage.
Slide it on fire. Just into the truck. Okay. Yeah. That's like me. That's what I know.
And then which is the most special winner? I mean, all four are very special. I just want to
go. But this is the most special one. Okay. Yeah. All right. So we have this signed poster of The Tribe
and I have spoken. We have for you some raffle winners. Three, five, nine, oh, three, five,
the people who are listening to the podcast are hating this so much right now. Max, how do I
improve this segment? Oh, you invite Corinne on. Okay. Yeah. She might say that some of the survivors
are three's and four's. I'm not on this ticket. Three, five, nine, zero, five, zero,
your winner and three, five, nine, zero, four, eight, your winner. And.
Yeah. Come on. Sam Moore. Wow. And you're the person we are. You are going to win an advanced
copy of The Tribe and I have spoken. You are three, five, nine, zero, two, six. Congratulations.
Nobody else has this but you. Rob is a book.com. Steven, what a treat this has been to get back
together with you for the live show. Are you considering coming out for more after this?
No. This is, hey, one and done. This is really special. I mean, you know, I wanted to be special.
Maybe it'll be like how they talk about it. Like, oh, survivor. It's like childbirth after I do
it. I want to come back and do it more. Yeah. Yeah. No. I mean, you know, I'm getting a
that sounds like what you've heard. That's what she's already saying. She said I would do it again
in a heartbeat. And I say, I don't know if I would do it again in a heartbeat. But having the
child is great, being the partner of a pregnant person is very difficult. But we'll talk about that
on another episode. Okay. All right. Of course, that's the book. We also want to pick our friends over
at chat BCC. If you're not on chat BCC, what are you doing? You could be hobnobbing with the
gliderati and night after night talking about survivor. Right here, chat BCC. Thank you so much
for all your support here. Rob is a podcast. The QR code is there. If you want to jump on in with us
on chat BCC. All right. Brandon, what else do we need to talk about? I'm the audience. Okay. So
at Stephen Fishback's book signing yesterday, I met somebody named Zander. They're 11. They went to
the book signing with their dad. I too was 11 going to these events with my dad. So Zander, wherever
you are in the audience, we're all we see you. We love you. Shout out to Zander. You're here somewhere.
The young Brandon Dunn is waving. Look at him. He's waving right there. There we go.
Thank you to our amazing panel that's here with us tonight. Anything else that you all
want to add? Before we wrap up, can everyone just snap for me really quickly? Yes, yes,
third time's the charm. But yeah, Max, Bradley, Kendra, Austin, Brando, Brandon, thank you
all so much. Thanks to our incredible guests who are here with us tonight. And I said it before
we came out. I really am so appreciative of everybody who comes on out to the shows and has such
nice things to say and all of you that traveled and came great distances. And it is very
inconvenient to go anywhere right now. So thank you so much for coming out. It means the world to
us. So really appreciate you. Two things to say. Yes. First, there are copies of my book,
Parvati's book, and Love a Holder's book, who wrote the book of Luke, another reality TBT book,
on sale in the lobby. I think there's still on sale in the lobby. There are signs for the most part,
I believe. And I think Jeff's book is out there too. So if you haven't bought any of those,
those are available. And most importantly, Rob, this community you have made is so incredible and
so special. It is truly the honor of my life to have be a part of it. It brings like incredible
joy to like so many people. And holy shit, this fucking event is amazing. So thank you for
including me. It was an incredible night, Los Angeles. Thank you so much for coming out. If
you're watching us and you want to be part of the fund or Rob's website.com slash events for
tickets to, I believe actually Toronto is sold out in New York, May 5th. You still can get tickets.
So hope to see you this spring. Take care everybody. Thank you. Good night.
