The survivor specialist film Blake are back and today we are digging deeper into episode number two of Survivor 50 with none other than Carl Boudreau from Survivor 37 David vs. Goliath, our second David vs. Goliath guest in a row.
And he's coming in here because he said he just has a bunch of stories of just shitting on Survivor. That's why he wanted to do tonight's episode, right? Carl, did I get that? I can't I can't remember.
Yeah, I want to talk about my fellow past mate, shit himself on live TV. That's what I want to talk about.
Did this happen on David vs. Goliath at all? Anything like this?
Well, the only time he shit himself on David vs. Goliath is when he flipped and voted me off.
No, Blake, you also haven't gotten to talk about Christian poop in his pants. How does Christian poop his pants and come out of that episode feeling like he might win the season still?
I mean, that's just the testament to how new era of people are just not paying attention or whatever. I it was interesting seeing Christian turn that into this should be super embarrassing.
This should be super bad. Like I think got it happened in front of Joe because maybe anybody else on his tribe would have had a crazy confessional just like like punching down on nerds, but it was like Joe who has a hard who could never do that even even his was kind of like, what did he say it was like ghost, but or something.
I was like, and we were making fun of sage all last season for doing this kind of stuff. So I don't know how we can be like sage. Please don't talk about that.
But now the Christians doing it. It's amazing. So I do think it was just a fun character moment, but then it was like, I'm glad they aren't going to bring it up. Hopefully every episode from now on.
If he does make final tribal and people don't vote for him because it's like I watched you shit yourself on day four. Maybe that's the coolest thing that could be paid off by this.
Hey, Carl. Why did I lose a million dollars?
So the other thing that's got me though is now people are posting pictures of the three tribes for next week because we know the tribe saw us happening and Christians back in the khakis. He's wearing the khakis again. So he's just like going back to the well here.
Well, no, I can't say again my season we had what we had on that was it. So ever since then they give them different options of clothing.
So he put on other other gear and just went fucking washed the khakis off. You know, that's all he did with soap and water, Carl. I don't know if they're so well, no, with sand and salt water.
Yeah. I mean, I have washing machines and sometimes I can't get those stains out.
I know washing machines on island. I can promise you that he's probably didn't have al pastor burrito though. Yeah. Them pants should have been in the garbage is what he should have been.
I'm telling you. Oh, my God. All right. Poor Christians pooping his pants. Here's Nick Snyder about the crack of Modello for you, Carl.
Carl is ready to go. All right, Carl. Well, we're two episodes in. I know you're a big old school fan. The last time I had you on was spring. It was season 47, which actually ended up being pretty good.
You came on for a prediction of powerings episode. We talked through that one. What are you feeling now that we're seeing these old school players back and how you feeling about the dynamic between the old school and the new era and I count old school your season. I'm counting as old school at this point.
Oh, yeah, for sure. No, I mean, it's in the beginning. I did not like it. You can attest to that because I've stated it multiple times, but it's starting to grow on me because it's like, okay, change it up. I get it. You know what I mean? Put a little twist to it.
Now, I'm still always going to write with old school because that's just what it was. Let me, let me change it some here. Here. So is this season going to be new school and only being 20, what, 26 days?
Or is it going to be old school and be 39 days? No, it's 26. So does that make it new school or old school, right? It makes it new school. Yeah. So this is new school. Yeah.
39 days is tough, man. And I was only there for 30, but 39 days is tough. 26 days. Yeah, I don't know. I would have taken it back for this particular season.
I would have taken it back to 39 and made the new people that's on there from the from the new school that make it hopefully get to see
how much you have to endure with those extra days.
You know, I mean, because 26 days, yeah, no, again, it's 26 days. I got voted off on day 30 and I wasn't even close to winning, but I made it longer than 26 days.
For anybody who hasn't watched David Ritz-Goliath in a long time, Carl, what place did you get?
I was the, it was 20. I was, I think I was seven, if I'm not mistaken, or eight, seven or eight, somewhere in there. I got voted off on day 30. I'll never forget it.
Yeah. Yeah. Chris said he had to be flipped like, yeah. Yeah.
So we're stuck with 26 days, though, but how do you feel that the, uh, that the new European are the old school people are handling right now, the game in general?
Like, are you, are you enjoying the fact that Colby Stephanie, not so much Stephanie last night? She didn't have a lot, but like Colby Devon's Christian, they're pretty much dominating the screen talk.
Colby's doing good.
Devon's battling with Joe, which Devon's was kind of, I think Devon's had a 39 day season as well, like I did.
I don't know, it's just, you can tell the difference in the new school versus the old school. The old school is like, I know, I know.
Being truthful in this game. This game is about lying and deceiting people and, and all of that. Like, I don't have to explain to you everything that I have going on.
I'm not here to tell you the truth. I'm here to, to pull the wool over your face so that I can get further in the game.
So, yeah, I mean, again, I prefer the old school because that's what it was about.
The new school has so many twists and turns. It's like, you can rely on a lot of different things.
You know, I mean, shout out to Billie Eilish.
Hey, boomerang idle. Like, you know what I'm saying? Yeah, it's just so many twists and turns.
So, yeah, I don't know. I just, I just prefer the old school period. You can't change my mind from that.
I've continued watching because I love survivor.
So, therefore, I understand the new school, but I'll never be the biggest fan of it.
So, Blake, going over to you now. So last night felt like an old school episode, right?
It felt like, you know, we had a lot of camp moments. We had a lot of this. We had Christian poop in his pants.
We had three pulling the wool over somebody's eyes. And we also had coach cramping in the water.
And not being able to swim. So, Blake, I got to come to you. I know you're the funny guy.
You're the humor guy. Believe it or not, he's wearing an ambulance hat. I don't know what that means, but he's got it.
I don't know what that movie's starting. What's his face? Great movie. Great movie.
What the stickers. You wore that hat. Did you know Carl was going to love that movie? That's a great movie. Yeah.
It's when the two kids grew up as brothers, the black kid and the white kid. Yeah. Great movie.
All right. Well, anyway, Blake is wearing an ambulance hat. Blake, you're the funny guy. How are you? How are you feeling watching last night's episode?
It was very funny to watch. Coach just completely like I would have died. I would have died.
And I think that gives more context to his like Amazon trip where it was like I've been in Brazil before.
I was chased by people they want to eat my butthole. It's like those people probably like he accidentally stole something from their store.
And they were just like chasing after him being like, can we get our money back or whatever?
Not to call in his question of what do you steal from people? But it's like what you didn't almost die.
You just got a cramp like you would have floated back in like nobody was you were never in danger.
I thought it was very interesting for the first time in 50 seasons. We see the like, oh, every time you're swimming, yes, there's camera men around.
But there's also emergency people to come grab you like.
So Blake, can I actually this being that you've never played it? Did any of you guys know that that there were always rescue swimmers out there when you're in the waterswomen?
Did anyone know that that that took place?
I think that's something that it's like I probably read 15 years ago whenever I was reading a bunch of stuff when it's like, don't worry.
Like this person was never in danger because we do have those people, but it's like so out of sight, out of mind of like we don't see those people on the everyday every episode.
We don't see those they don't go at the end of the credits.
Like and thanks to our swimmers.
So I can tell you I can tell you they're not right there in the boat the whole time. They're on the beach watching.
So it just so happens that Jonathan was there with him. Trust me. Jonathan yelled to them.
That's when they brought the skiff out to come. They're not right there with you when you're snorkeling and trying to catch fish, whatever.
They're there on the beach watching, but they're not actually in the water.
So that was literally an emergency call. And they, you know what I'm saying automatically got off the beach and came.
So coach coach needed them with coaches the reason that we get that fourth wall broken for the first time in survivor history and there's just something very poetic about that.
So they're not in the water with you.
Yeah, they're not. It was kind of interesting to see coach two of like, I know my body looks weird.
And I'm what what am I going to look like when I'm 54, but I'm like, is he muscular or what's going on here?
Like this.
Hello.
Maybe I.
I.
He's in the middle of the 40 years.
Like I still I need to get on reality TV in the next three years or I'm never going to do it because I do not want people looking at my body in swim trunks when I'm 50.
I mean, I turned 50 this year.
I turned 50 this year.
You got to go back out there.
Like crazy.
I was 42 when I went on.
Yeah, crazy.
That's fuck.
I wanted to kiss Mike White when I seen him with the abs.
Yeah.
What the hell is that all about?
I mean, you, you went out.
I mean, you were on season three.
You had the epic moment of pulling out the chair for Natalie.
We'll never forget it.
You know, white load is what like Mike White having a six pack abs.
Like where did that come from?
I feel like Mike White's always he's been the dad bod guy since the amazing race.
I don't know.
I don't.
I would hope to think that he's been in the gym, but then at the same time he lives in Los Angeles.
That's Hollywood, you know, it's kind of like Jeff's dimples.
Like, you know, you can buy ads, right?
No, Mike would never do that.
No, no.
No, I'm just joking.
I was just joking.
Yeah.
No, he must have been working out.
You know what I mean?
That's all I can say.
He looks good though.
It looks good on him.
Yeah, it's wild.
And then you got coach who, I mean, on coaches first season, coaches are pretty jacked, dude.
People forget that.
And now coach is just like, yeah, I'm a 54 year old dad.
Like what's up?
That's right.
That's what I say.
That would be 50.
Like, I can't just do the same things that I did when I was 42.
I just can't.
Yeah.
Because I'm not no gym rat.
So that ain't happening.
You know what I mean?
So what do you, what do you guys think about how?
Coach took the key from Aussie?
I loved it.
I mean, I'm all about that.
I mean, I have no problem.
Cause the thing is if coaches and grab it, Q's grabbing it.
So what difference does it make?
No.
Q wouldn't have grabbed it.
Q was going for it.
Q went for it when he's seeing coach jump after it.
Q was going to give it to coach.
Because you don't think Q could have got there before coach?
I mean, I don't know man.
Coach is like, coach is like a cat.
He's too quick.
He's like a cat that almost drowned because of.
Like, come on.
I think it is something where I get Aussie being mad.
But I'm way more of a coach person of like.
Cool.
You got it off the hook.
But like the whole goal is to get it across the finish line.
It doesn't matter whether it's an inch or a mile.
I'm in movie mode today.
But it's like, you got it 99% of the last way.
But it's whoever gets that last point wins it.
So, I mean, you get it.
I'm just, you know, I don't know which I get well.
Coach did say when he had the little deal with Q.
I didn't say a word.
So I didn't agree to that.
Deal, but I don't know.
I just.
I mean, I don't know.
I don't think I would have went for it.
Well, let's let's go to a different spot then.
Let's go to the episode two part now where coach's honor has been called out.
So what do you more importantly than even grab in the key?
What do you think about they're talking about Kyle tearing his Achilles and needing to go out of the game?
And then coach goes, I just want to make it clear.
I'm playing this game with honor and integrity.
Right.
He is segueing off of Kyle rupturing his Achilles.
Everybody's still in that mode.
I mean, coach is the gift that just keeps on giving.
I'm loving.
I'm all in.
Coach is all about coach, which you should be you playing a game for a million bucks.
You should be.
I've spoken to coach, I think three times since I played my season.
And he was a great genuine guy, you know what I mean?
But all of that goes out the window, man, when you're out there on island.
Like so I understand it.
I get it.
Like, yeah.
Everything behind.
I mean, it's such a funny coach moment for like.
This is something where we probably need to let purple tribe get their tears out and say like Kyle was such a good guy.
But like for coach to be like, that's not what's important right now.
Like Ozzy has talked enough crap over there.
Let's get this settled.
Is something where you're like.
How do you not just immediately like laugh out loud if you're on another tribe?
How do you not go like.
How are those not the next five confessionals of like even somebody next to him like hit his leg and go not now, not now.
The only players that was see it.
The only players that was see it different is the new school players.
Because the old school players understand what the game is about.
Like I don't care about you over there bleeding.
Medic then wrapped you up.
I'm playing this game to win for me and whomever else I'm playing for.
What you doing is fine and dandy.
But yeah, that's not what I'm here for.
That's the old school mentality though.
The new school everybody wants to be friends.
Yeah, it's just it's just two different.
Two different mentalities.
Well, it was really it was really on display last night.
Sorry, Blake.
I just wanted to say it was really on display last night because it was more than just this.
I mean, it's Devon's going at Joe.
You're having rivalries that are starting to rear their head.
And that's where I'll give Genevieve and cue a lot of credit.
Like they are playing.
They have that mentality.
I think that's why they were so popular playing on recent seasons.
They're going through Aubrey's bag.
Like they're ready to go.
And I think that this is really showing how important those rivalries are.
Like we need all the players to feel some sort of way about each other.
And that doesn't always happen.
There's some of the new school players that have the old school mentality.
Yeah.
You can I mean, you can just see it in their gameplay.
Like you said, Genevieve and in cow.
Like I mean, yeah, and cue like they just have the old school mentality.
Yeah, but that's what they studied.
I think what was very interesting for cue is like.
He is talking so loud and it's he's not by himself.
And that was just something that I'm like, oh, this is why I love cue of like he doesn't.
Who cares about a filter, but it's literally a volume control thing of like.
How are you in your confessional basically screaming?
But it's not like other confessional screamers where you're like, this is the supacing.
But he's just like so himself and like when he was going on about Rizzo of like.
Rizzo lazy man.
I was just like.
There is just not five people that are this compelling when they are talking about how.
It kind of sucks being on Rizzo's tribe.
It's like I am over somebody saying the right words with the right vocab or the right like.
Just tell me how you feel it.
Don't don't give me the whole like.
It would be nice if Rizzo.
It's like, can you contribute more?
Can you be more part of this?
No, like call his ass out.
And it was very interesting to watch both cue and Colby do that.
And then and then cue also said that Angelina is a statue Carl.
Can you test?
Yes.
Okay.
So first I'll let Blake know that.
Rizzo is coming off as lazy.
And the confessionals are so far away from where camp is that they cannot hear.
And my sister Angelina.
Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
Yeah.
I mean, you had to wake up pretty early to collect firewood when Angelina is around.
Like, I mean, I met Angelina after the merge, obviously, but yeah.
There's a certain people they don't do anything like my my season after merge.
Like the fire, which Phil, I've told you this many of times, I slept next to the fire every night.
It was a bond fire.
Like it wasn't those little bitty fire.
Like, yeah, no, I need some warmth.
So we drove big logs.
Like it was y'all can go collect these little bitty branches.
I need something that's going to burn.
Therefore, which we didn't have to worry about a flint getting taken, but.
Burn some wood.
When you go off to the challenge or wherever, when you come back, it's still going to be burning.
You know what I mean?
Like, yeah, they, I don't know.
But yeah, Angelina, she, she has to step it up because I felt so bad when, when they said that about it.
Are you surprised that we're not hearing more from Angel?
I think she's been the one shock for me in terms of the edits that are big, the edits that are small.
I think I'm shocked that through two episodes, we haven't gotten like Angelina isms.
We haven't gotten anything over the top from her.
It feels like she's just kind of there.
Other people are narrating her like Angelina is supposed to be the one saying crazy stuff.
You didn't really give much of Angelina from my season when she was.
Getting kicked out the back door and we bring in and or she was negotiating for rice.
Like she's the queen of the negotiation.
She's the one that started the whole rice thing.
My season with Angelina is what started the whole rice thing.
So yeah, like, but you didn't get much from her.
I mean, that was just Angelina's game.
I mean, she just, she flipped flopped so many times.
Like she never had her, her, her, her feet planted.
She was just going with whatever flow that she needed to go with at the time.
And that was just her.
Like what I'm saying right now, I'm not surprised.
I don't like it, but I'm not surprised.
Blake, you were really excited for her.
I feel like she turns it on whenever she goes the tribal and that just hasn't happened yet.
So it is kind of a maybe she doesn't know how close she was to going home.
If she was the first move from purple or could she have thrown Aubrey under the bus.
And I think that would have been a fun thing to watch or like talking to Rizzo and somebody being like,
Oh, don't talk about your coat, your, your, your jeansy stuff.
Nobody likes your jeans.
It's same kind of coach and Tyson type thing could have happened, maybe.
But like, I think for Angelina, I'm worried about her in a swap to where it's like,
is she dialed in or is it kind of like, okay, I'm on another season.
It's all stars.
I think some people elevate their game.
Like when we saw Rick and Christian are like, we're going to stick together.
We're going to do some crazy stuff.
That crazy thing is going to end the show and that will probably do it later.
But it is some people where it's like,
if you don't step your game up and go to the next level,
like, I do feel like you're going to be easy pickings when it comes to a swap.
And it is kind of like, what is Angelina's plan whenever she hits the beach?
Because I don't know if she has a lot of friends from the old tribe that are going to be like,
yeah, Angelina was part of my plan.
I think of the three on from your season that are about to have problems coming up.
It's Angelina, I'm worried about.
Before I pick up on one thing you stated,
I'll say this and I love everybody from my cast.
I think Kara would have been a better choice as far as a female going on this season from my cast.
Kara was pregnant. She has a beautiful baby now.
Now you mentioned Christian and Devons.
Yeah.
I'm going to ask you all this.
Do you think that they had personal alliances before the season even started?
I mean, I think they had something.
I think there was definitely so I don't know if it was a guaranteed war locked in,
for sure. They, I mean, they've spoken. Emily has knows Christian too.
So like, yeah, I think so.
And I, the only reason why I asked that because what the hell was that that they just pulled at the tribal council?
It was amazing is what it was.
But what was it though? What was, what was it? What was that all about?
They're hiding, they're hiding a fake idol clue so that if one of them either ever getting trouble at tribal,
they can act like all like we knew that there was something here.
We're going to go pick it up and then try to protect themselves from getting voted out.
When I've seen that, that automatically told me that those dudes had a had a,
and I hate it because you shouldn't allow it.
But that automatically told me that they had an alliance together before they even went feeling.
That's the vibe I got from that.
I get what you're saying, but I also feel like they're two people, especially devins,
who would try to make up some stuff and try to get a little chaotic.
And it's like, you know what would be cool? We could probably pull this off because I think about it with David right when he went back for a edge of extinction.
He had gone to Fiji beforehand and buried a fake idol on one of the beaches so that if he ever ended up on that beach, he could do that.
So I feel like, I mean, David and Rick were really close on edge of extinction.
So I think devins may have been saying to himself, what's something that I could do if I ever get on this season?
And I bet that that was a plan that he already had in his head.
And he just happened to be able to tell Christian like, hey, you're the one who got the idol.
You're the one who has this, this part, this piece of, you know, paper or whatever it is.
Let's try to do this. I bet you devins was already thinking about that before he got on the island.
And I don't know if Christian was always in that play.
The other layer, I, I can't speak for Phil, but like, I went to two pre parties for finales.
And I've never played survivor.
But there was some people from both cast where it's like, oh, you're pretty fun to hang out with for this four hours at a bar and aftermath.
Like, if I ever went on survivor and saw them again, like, yeah, we mentioned it on the podcast of like, hey, David, hey, Carl, you remember that one time.
And y'all hang out with each other probably five times a year sometimes, the newer people probably 10, 15 times a year.
So I'm sure Christian and devins have been in the same room before where they're like, oh, somebody has come up to them.
Would it be cool if you guys were on the same tribe and they look at each other and be like, I, that would be kind of cool.
I maybe kind of chaotic though. I don't think that it would ever happen.
And then whenever they both pick out an orange buff at the beginning of this, they go, okay, Operation Overdrive, like, it just like does some.
Where you're like, yeah, we talked about this drunk that one time in Macon, Georgia over making pancakes at the whatever.
And you're like, that has to be so much in your mind over the last eight years, especially when it's like, we didn't have a lot to talk about when there was a year off of survivor.
I'm sure people just made stuff up that whole time too.
And that's my whole point moments like that have to come back around.
I'm sure it does. I mean, because like you said, we, we sometimes meet different, different watch parties, whatever, you know, so yeah, all of that plays a part like.
But I mean, I don't know, it's just, I don't know, it's just things that I think about.
So let me, let's ask this then because so the tribe swap coming up, the tribes were released, Mike Bloom put him out.
I don't look at it as a spoiler. He's telling us. I mean, it says spoiler, but it's like he found it. He's not spoiling things new vato.
You ready for this tribe, Carl, because I'm curious what your thoughts are going to be.
We have Ozzy and Stephanie. Okay. We have Q and Emily.
And then we have Angelina Christian and Mike white all on the same tribe.
Is that good or bad for Angelina, Mike white and Christian?
I'll tell you who is bad for. It's probably bad for Mike.
Because again, now the call that don't give a damn going to come out.
Christian is a snake.
And it comes to that game. Christian will do whatever to get past Mike.
So yeah, if I have to worry about anybody on that tribe, I'm worried about Mike.
Angelina, a flip flopper.
Again, I love them all the death, but I'm just telling you my experience of playing with them.
Mike's the only green person on that tribe too.
I'm worried about Mike. I'm worried about Mike.
Yeah. He gets nobody from his original starting tribe to even back him up,
which is crazy because his tribe is the only one that's fully intact.
And yet somehow he gets left on an island. You would think he'd be okay.
Angelina Christian, they have a bond.
But like you're saying, doesn't always matter.
Like just because you played on the same season and on that tribe,
Q doesn't have a vote.
Ozzy gave his extra vote to Suri.
So Ozzy has one vote. So really, there's only six votes over there.
And you'd have Angelina Christian and Mike wanted to work together.
Q and Q and, uh, Q and Stephanie were close.
I could see Stephanie and Ozzy really hitting it off.
Crazy. They've never played together.
And then if Emily ends up over there too, it's interesting how that's going to work.
I think Emily actually finds herself in a bit of a swing.
Emily and Christian are probably going to be who determine whether it's Angelina and Mike who do well.
I think Stephanie and Q and Ozzy who do well.
I think Angel, I think Emily and Christian are me making that decision.
And you've got to think Angelina and Mike not on the same page because they weren't on the same page in DVD.
You see what I'm saying?
You couldn't even figure out what ladder needed to be there.
Right. That's what I'm saying.
They weren't on the same page in our original season.
So yeah.
Yeah.
I'm telling you I'm worried about Mike only because of Christian.
And yeah.
And I have to ask this Carl because you got vilified for it.
Are you also calling Christian a snake because he was pushing Joe in the hammock and rocking him while you were the Godfather and evil on your season playing in the hammock?
I don't care about me being the Godfather.
That was creepy as hell because why is a grown man rocking another fucking grown man?
I'm sorry.
But yeah.
That's all right.
You just shit yourself.
Now you're rocking a grown man while talking to him.
Right.
Come on, man.
I got to see if I can find you.
Yeah.
Come on, man.
That's creepy as hell.
You said when you shit yourself, your wife was going to force you.
I want you to have to send you rock a grown man.
Oh, we got.
Joe is just having a bad time and then that works probably one day every day though.
Every day is a bad time for Joe because Joe don't trust nobody.
I feel like it's not even the fun kind of critankerist could tanker or whatever that word is either.
It's it's pretty much a oh my god.
It looks insane.
Look how creepy that looks man.
Come on, man.
Somebody said it was like he's doing a confessional a church.
I was like, oh my god.
And then Brian Scally.
He said, oh, he just said this shot is perfect.
Somebody said it's I forget who it was, but they said when you're when you're looking at your baby in their in their crib or whatever in there in whatever their play.
Joe must be looking.
Christian is the baby and Joe is the father looking through the play pin.
Look at David.
David's watching.
He said, oh god, what have you all done bringing him on after this episode?
Because he knows how I feel.
David knows how I am.
David know that I'm going to shoot it straight like period.
That's amazing.
I couldn't find the picture of you in the hammock Carl in your boot episode or everybody said we have to go to him.
He's the godfather.
I wanted to get that and put it next to Christian standing above.
It wasn't even like that when I was in the hammock.
That's just what they made it seem like.
It was not even like that at all.
At all.
But what Christian just did.
Yeah, that's.
I'm laughing because this comment of Christian just missed his baby of him acting like Joe is this baby.
45 years old.
That's funny.
You said David was on here last week.
He was.
Oh, I'm going to watch that one.
Yeah, he was on here last week.
And yeah, since I know he's paying attention, I'm going to talk shit about him.
We'll get you geared up.
So, so you're worried for Mike.
You're worried for Angelino.
Let's start talking about some people not just from David versus Elias.
Now that Davey's here.
We don't want to give Davey too much attention.
We got to let him go away.
And then we'll get to talk later.
But he should have been on 50.
My brother should have been on 50.
That's not shit, Tarkar.
That's like being nice.
What happened?
I knew I'm showing my brother some love because that's honestly how I feel.
He should have been on 50.
I think a lot of people are in agreement.
A lot.
A lot, a lot, a lot.
So we'll see what happens.
Over Christian.
He should have been on 50.
Maybe, but Christian right now is delivering on a level that Davey couldn't because Davey's not going to poop his pants.
Because Davey not going shit on himself.
Yeah, it's all I'm saying.
It's all I'm saying.
I mean, look, I will say this though.
The editors did this so perfectly this episode because they started off with Christian poop in his pants and they end it with him falling.
Now, the first one was a evacuation.
It was.
That was an accident.
He didn't mean it.
The last one though.
That was purposeful.
And I thought that was so well edited.
It was almost like it was a scripted thing of, oh, here's this thing that's not.
Here's this thing that's an accident.
But then here's this thing that's also goofy.
And the tribe has their guard so let down around Christian.
You think they would have learned something from your season to not let their guard down around them, but they didn't.
Carl's just died.
He's like, feel you're not finishing your sentence.
If we were in a bar, I'd be screaming right now.
Well, because I don't know how Davey feels, but like, again, I've talked to it with people that I'm close to.
And it's like.
Like, stop playing up for the camera.
See, and I'm sitting here saying, I think Christian's going to win the season.
Like, I think he could win the season.
I don't see it, but I mean, I could be wrong, but I mean, he's got Joe's vote and forum.
He's just going to be thinking about that time that he was laying there in paradise rocking back and forth really, really slow.
He's ready to vote for me.
Blake, you were ready for me, man.
Yeah, Blake's over here.
Like, what the hell did I do?

The one thing that I want to talk about that we haven't got to is the actual devins versus Joe thing.
And being like, hey, this is what we're talking about when we say like 93% of the fan base likes the old way.
Please stop giving us the 7% of the new way.
And I like Joe when I watched him the first time.
It is kind of interesting to see the rough around the edges of people being like, this is kind of how he was on his original season.
But like we needed him to come off pretty well because he's going to make final tribal.
And we don't want to have you think that Kyle is going to win from the beginning to end.
So what I'm trying to say right now is devins versus Joe, I could not have been more on devins side of like, I don't need to tell you every single thing that happened.
It's probably better if I don't tell you every single thing that happened.
If I told you every single thing that I thought about, you'd probably want to vote me out. I probably want to vote you out.
I the whole thought process as I'm choosing my words is so I can have you leave this happy and I can leave this happy Joe.
And Joe focusing on like, what did Savannah say? Oh, I caught you in a lie. I'm going to ask Savannah about this.
I'm going to do all of those things only put Joe furthered lower in the pecking like, not pecking order higher up in the pecking order lower on the totem pole of like, that's not how you get in devins.
Like you almost have to just, all right, I'm trying to play devins game instead of my own game right here because I'm talking to devins.
I wasn't interested in the scene. These people aren't going to flex at all, but devins is going to, because his gameplay is more chaotic, when he doesn't flex, it's fine.
But whenever Joe doesn't flex, it's going to be a problem coming up very soon.
But you stated it, Joe's playing his game, the same game he played on his season. That's just how he is. He straightforward. He don't beat around the bush.
I mean, you can't knock him for that. Is it the best game play? Maybe not. Maybe it can be. That's just, that's just how he is. You can't change nobody. I played the way I played. I was straightforward.
Was it the best? Obviously, it wasn't good enough because I didn't win. But you have to, you have to take consideration.
Some people are just going to be straightforward. Some people are going to be like a lump noodle. I mean, that's just what it is.
No one has the exact 100% way to play this game of survivor, because once you get out there, everything just changes.
If I knew not to say this or say that at whatever moment I said it, trust me, I wouldn't have said it.
Looking back on it, hindsight is always 2020, right? I would have never said some of the things that I said.
But that's just what it is.
No, and Savannah actually said that in this argument between the two of them, it was severely toned down for the edit.
She said that it was a lot more extreme. And I know a lot of people are on Devon's side. And Devon was my preseason winner pick.
I love Rick Devons, like Rick Devons and Christian, what they're doing right now, Sari and Ozzy, like I'm entertained as hell by that tribe.
They were just real quick, the edit. Yeah, of course, the fans have to pay attention to is the edit.
Of course. And I think, and I think for, for me, when I watch this happen, I do feel like Joe had a good point.
I just think people might have turned on Joe because he bored, he was boring in his season or people didn't like his game, whatever.
But I think Joe had a good point of like, I watched her whisper. Just tell me what's going on.
And even if it's a BS lie, you're going to build trust with me because I'm going to say to you, this is dumb.
And look, we saw Rick Devons in edge of extinction. I'll grant it. Rick Devons gets voted out. So when he comes back, he is pissed at everyone.
But at the same time, when he comes back into the game, we see him at Wardog. Wardog was like, hey, look, here's what I'm thinking.
You me, David Lally Kelly. We're going to run this. And Devons has that infamous line of, of course, I want to walk with you or work with you, except I don't.
And Wardog's like, what, what do you mean? We had to vote you out. We didn't have a choice. Like there was nowhere else in Devons. Like, I don't give crap. Like, I don't want to work with you.
So we've seen Devons be up around the edges. And I do think that I think things are going so well for Devons right now on that tribe with Christian with Emily, even with Sarian Ozzy, that I think he's feeling a little bit.
I don't want to say entitled because I'm on team Devons, but he is feeling you're right. He's up here.
He's feeling a little bit big. There's that old saying, man, don't throw rock, break the glass and then hide your hand. And that's what he tried to do with Joe.
Joe caught him. I mean, and Joe called it out. That's all it was to it.
Yeah. And Joe, I mean, look, Joe showed in his season, he can be stubborn. Him versus David Kinney was insane. And David gets voted out when David was going to be loyal to them anyway.
But we've seen bold sides of this. So look, Joe versus Devons is great. I don't think they're on the same tribe moving forward, which is a bummer.
Right. I sent it in the private. Joe's all alone by himself.
Joe doesn't have anybody from his original tribe. Wow. Okay. That actually works out for Joe.
I think nobody knows what happened. And then he can see.
Add me to the dominant alliance. I'm fine. Let's ride to work.
Final five.
Let's go win some challenges. No, that's true. That's true.
All right. So what else can we do? Okay. Well, let's go to this next one here.
Challenges are a big deal. And we talk a lot about how, you know, in the new era, the challenges have changed.
And this is not a knock on Savannah because Savannah was a badass in the swimming challenge. She got down.
She jumped in. Didn't even dive without taking a breath. Swam underneath. Got the buoy. That was sick.
So Savannah is good. I mean, she won four immunities. We see Joe win four immunities.
But I got another picture, another story time. As you all know, I might like this person a lot.
So I figure I might as well throw this picture up.
So dude, Colby and Steph absolutely kicked ass in this challenge.
And they made this challenge. So fun to watch. And I have to pull this picture up.
Because he beast mode at that one and look at Chrissy in the background here.
She's not on Colby's try. She is so excited watching this challenge happen.
And you're watching and she is laughing. And then as he's doing it, she starts clapping for him.
I just got to give Colby his shout out, man. Like this is not Superman and a fat suit from heroes versus villains.
This guy is playing again.
He beast mode it that way. Literally. He did beast mode it. And then here comes asshole Carl.
Why is Christie on this season? Oh, okay. But anyways.
Colby beast mode it that light.
Oh, I was late.
Two hundred pound snake. Yeah.
I hit the wrong button. I went to put the other thing behind the stage. And I put Carl behind the stage.
Christie. Christie is interesting for me because Christie was very popular on 35.
Now she comes out here.
She's getting called a villain. She's overly motherly.
Can we let's go through the checklist of what Chrissy did in this episode.
And look, I was not a Chrissy defender during heroes healers hustlers.
I thought Ben deserved that win. But let's go through this.
She massaged coaches calves because coach at cramped.
She helped John.
She brought him back from the dead. She was trying to get the night outside of Jonathan's hair.
Yeah. And then she said, does anybody want to make fire?
And we know that Chrissy can make fire because we've seen her do it.
You know what? Well, I died laughing when she said that about fire.
You know what I thought about.
Miss Natalie.
She was just, can you do this?
Can you do that?
Poor Miss Natalie.
Oh, man. I just, I just, I thought it was interesting that this whole edit.
Chrissy doesn't speak this episode and she's shown as being super villainous.
And I didn't feel like anything she did was villainous and I didn't feel like she was all that overbearing.
Like, especially on that tribe, like I didn't feel like she was doing anything overbearing.
But so for me, what that says is it's being set up as Chrissy's about to become the villain of this season at some point.
It's going to happen where she's going to become a villain because right now they're making her.
Man, like whenever I get cramps, I'm always like, please, no, like I don't want anybody to help me.
I just want to be an agonizing pain.
I took, please don't help me. When my hair is tangled, I actually have to worry about that.
Maybe play.
Yeah, maybe, maybe Carl don't have to worry about that.
But maybe Blake does.
It's like, no, like just let it be nodded and gross.
Like she didn't, I didn't feel like she was doing anything wrong.
But this edit's making her look bad.
Again, that edit, man, that edit does a lot.
That edit determines who fans will like and who fans will hate.
And that's the one thing that I do not like about the show.
If not the only thing, everything else I love.
But the way that they edit stuff, like, yeah, no.
I tell you, it's 50, right?
So after 50, get with CBS and see if you can't make it somewhat similar to Big Brother.
Have live cameras on at all times.
Show everything.
Don't let it be an edit.
Like literally show everything.
Then I guarantee you that show is bigger than Big Brother already.
But it would just like go stupid crazy.
That's my opinion.
That's just my open.
How am I podcasting that, Carl?
I'm doing four podcasts a week already about just one hour, one and a half hour.
I just think what I just mean is just going to be better for you.
I just got to stay up 72 straight hours.
You know what?
No, I hear what you're saying with that.
I mean, no survivor will never do that.
I mean, survivor, it's gotten to the point where even with like exit press and stuff,
like, you know, it's tough to even grab the tell-alls.
I mean, back in the day, Carl, we had so many tell-alls.
You, Alec, Cara, Davy, like we went down so much of your cast.
The cast after that, 38, 30.
I mean, 38, I think we had that half the cast at least.
It's harder to get that stuff.
The narrative is more controlled.
I think it's interesting on this season, specifically how the narrative has been
because you have a lot of these new era players where you were saying,
why'd they get a spot over this person?
And then you look and you're like, Camilla, Dee, Tiffany, Charlie.
I've done nothing.
Like, and I get there on the tribe that's winning all the time, but they haven't done anything.
Let's talk about Dee.
I've never met Dee before.
Dee, are you thinking, so she's the last standing winner.
The other two are gone.
How far can Dee go?
If she's playing the same way she's playing, she can go much further.
Because she's not doing anything wrong.
She shows up for the challenges.
And she's keeping her mouth closed as far as everything else.
So, yeah, you can go a long way doing that.
You don't want to start ruffling no feathers until after the merge.
In the beginning, you try to just be as calm as can be.
Because ultimately, you want to at least make the merge.
That's when you start playing for yourself at that point.
So, yeah, what she's doing right now, in my opinion, is, yeah.
I don't have any problems with it.
So, her tribe at the swap here, four people from original tribe,
Dee, Charlie, Jonathan, Camilla, with Devon, Suri, and R-I-Z-G-O-D,
Rizz, God, baby, the man that met the legend.
Oh, my God.
Every time I had Shreysan on the podcast last year,
and he kept calling him Rizz Guy, which made me keep calling him R-I-Z-G-O-D,
Rizz, God, baby, even more.
I know that these old school players, once you hit like 45,
you hear R-I-Z-G-O-D, Rizz, God, baby,
and you just look for the next Modello.
It sounds like that's pretty much what's happening.
No, you can't say he turned it around in the first couple of days, though,
because, first two days, oh, yeah, he was at the very, very bottom
because he was annoying.
So, he has turned that around.
And he's going to be bottom with that last.
No problem.
Rizz is going to be on a tribe by himself of no other purple people.
Terrifying.
Which is also kind of fascinating,
because he was being set up as the swing vote on that purple tribe.
And now, he's not even with anybody on the purple tribe.
So, I wonder what that's going to mean when he gets over there.
I mean, Devin's and Sury, I think, will be fine.
They were already working together a little bit.
They've been to a couple of tribals.
But that Charlie D. Jonathan Camilla,
like, do you think Sury can pull in?
Rizzo's got to want to work with Sury, right?
I mean, Rizzo...
He can't.
Yeah, he's got to want to work with Sury.
Sury is the queen.
Like, yeah.
Yeah.
Five times.
Yeah.
She knows...
She knows the social game in and out.
Like, period.
Shame on you.
Shame on you.
On the challenges.
But the social game?
Oh, yes.
So, we got the social game.
It's like going on a movie set,
and Tom Cruise is there.
It's like, you're going to go eat your granola bar by Tom Cruise.
Yeah.
And Tom Cruise is like, can somebody grab this wrapper for me?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I touched Tom Cruise's wrapper, exactly.
No, I think so.
I think Sury Devin's Rizzo.
And then it's just a matter of who do they...
Can they bring somebody in?
Like, Dee, Jonathan Camilla, Charlie being together.
I think what's also interesting there is not only
where they have the same starting tribe,
they're also all new era players.
So, if there's going to be a bond between players,
it would be there.
But I could see Jonathan maybe wanting to play with the old players.
I could also see Charlie want to play with the old players.
I mean, I know Charlie's a big fan.
But, yeah, that's an interesting tribe for sure.
And it's a good break for Dee.
Because if you're Sury, you want to use Dee as a shield.
And if you're Jonathan, you want somebody strong.
And Dee is very strong and very good at challenges.
So, I do think that was probably a good break for Dee, for sure.
Yeah.
Charlie hadn't gotten much hit.
Not at all.
No.
Pretty much everything he has talked about has been like...
He talked about Mike White's abs.
And what are you talking about in this last episode?
What was he...
He couldn't...
He couldn't align with Chrissy even though he wants to
because he's a sucker for an old lady alliance.
Yeah.
He couldn't even do that.
Old lady alliance.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And he couldn't even get on Chrissy side.
So, yeah.
And then Chrissy is...
The third tribe that we've talked about,
we've mentioned it was Joe.
But then it's Tiffany Coach Chrissy, Aubrey Colby and Genevieve.
So Colby and Genevieve are together.
But Colby doesn't have a vote.
Tiffany Coach and Chrissy,
it doesn't be like any of them are bonded.
Joe's on his own.
And then you have Aubrey,
who wasn't really with Colby and Genevieve.
Definitely wasn't with Genevieve.
I don't know about that tribe.
That tribe's weird.
That's a really weird tribe.
So...
What do you think about Christensen and Aubrey,
the boomerang idol?
Like, you give your thoughts on that one because I gave my...
I think it's kind of BS because it's like...
Why wouldn't he give it to Angelina?
Does he not like Angelina from that?
Yes.
And like, if Angelina is in trouble,
Aubrey getting an idol makes it even worse for her.
And I think there is the layer of,
oh, I didn't want to give it to Angelina
because it puts a target on her back, maybe.
But I don't believe that.
Nobody knows about it.
So there's no target.
I was surprised he went Aubrey over Angelina, to be honest.
If he's sending it to somebody on purpose.
And my other thing that I...
I'm okay with the Billie Eilish boomerang idol.
I actually think that the twist associated with the idol is fun.
Like, you give it to somebody that they get voted out.
It comes back to you, whatever.
The only thing now that I'm not liking
is because there's two of them in the game.
Now you have two players who did jack shit
who were handed idols.
And obviously there's a third.
They just haven't found it yet.
And I'm assuming that somebody on Kalo
because they are keeping the same three tribes.
They're going to find it.
Like Aubrey can end up finding the other one
and gifting it to somebody else,
which is crazy to think about.
But then Genevieve is on the tribe again, Kalo,
that doesn't have it.
What if Genevieve goes and finds a third,
a second Billie Eilish boomerang idol for herself
and then has to give it to somebody else again?
It's like, how unlucky is Genevieve for this?
Right.
Right.
Well, what does the phrase mean in this season?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Right. Right.
What else?
What else do you all think?
Or, no, not what else?
What other famous person do you think has a twist
that's going to be showed in this season?
We were told it was Jimmy Fallon, Mr. Beast
and what?
Luke Bryan?
So we know those three other than Billie Eilish.
I just don't know if there's any more.
You know who else?
I'm surprised that wasn't put out there first is Sia.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Because she's donated the most money.
Go ahead, Blake.
The other thing that I'm actually like, what is going on here?
Billie Eilish hasn't said a word.
They haven't brought Billie Eilish.
They haven't shown a picture of Billie Eilish.
Could you imagine we just show up in this?
It's the boomerang idol.
The words Billie Eilish.
Hey, it's Billie Eilish.
Oh, Billie Eilish.
I'm a fan of you.
Like all of those are moments.
I don't think those are going to be iconic moments
that get shown 10 years from now.
But I think people will go probably for 51 boomerang idols are back
because it seems like everybody kind of likes this.
We don't know what's going to be the actual in goal of these idols
or what are they called outcomes of these idols.
But I think boomerang idols would be cool to have around forever.
I'm just like, why are we putting Billie Eilish on it?
If she's not going to show up and say hi or post.
She doesn't even treat it or anything about it.
She doesn't even mention that survivors on.
And so it's like, so what was the point of this?
And I always think about this way.
Like Carl, you just said you're turning 50 this year.
Me and Blake are both in our mid 30s.
Then you got people who are watching Survivor in their teens.
Maybe are really in a Billie Eilish.
I don't know what the age range for Billie Eilish is now
because I know she's been around for a while here.
But like, it's kind of like, I don't know, Carl,
who you were listening to during your growing up.
Who's your favorite band when you were growing up?
Well, I didn't really listen to a lot of widespread.
It was blues for me.
So.
Okay.
So even if it was like Robin,
like I would say Johnny Taylor, you know,
which is this didn't go.
Yeah.
But anybody like whatever it is who Eric Clapton was,
you know, huge blues musician, right?
Like you could get behind Eric Clapton.
Right. Right. Right.
Like if you say Eric Clapton now to a 25 year old,
they might know who that is.
They're not guaranteed to know who that is.
And that might make some people laugh, but that's the facts.
Like I was working out of college four years ago.
And I was sitting there in a room.
And I was like, yeah, whatever.
And I said, yeah, it's like Blink 182.
That's on by Blink 182.
And the two I'm sitting in the room with,
they were they were 21 and 20.
They had no idea who Blink 182 were.
Had no clue who Blink 182 was.
And I'm sitting there and I'm like,
my wife is only five years older than you.
She has Blink 182 tattoos.
Like what are we talking about?
Like Blink 182 is in like the billion listen club on Spotify.
You know what I mean?
Like they're massive.
But even that.
So when I look at Billie Eilish boomerang idol,
it's like in five years.
Now Billie Eilish is big.
There's no denying that.
Yeah.
But in five years,
if you're going for a younger audience in five years,
they might not care.
It's the same way.
Like when we're Taylor Swift happened to has transcended
eras a little bit here.
But like I think about who else was big around the same time
as like Taylor Swift.
Like fun was the biggest band in the in the world for a year.
Nobody gives a shit about fun anymore.
So like I don't like the Billie Eilish portion of this either
because it dates the season in a way that survivor doesn't want to date things.
Survivor wants to date things and like,
oh, Reebok was a big sponsor.
This is honey.
Yeah.
But Beyonce was just as big as Taylor Swift.
But now why the hell they don't put out the nickel back.
I don't know the fire.
Yeah.
Exactly.
Because I like me some nickel back.
Well, here's the truth thing.
Nickel back boomerang.
Because you're getting your nickel back.
You're getting your nickel back.
Yeah.
I just want to see the I don't know the fire come back out field.
That's all.
That's all you.
Hey, it did and it ruined season 39 at the very end.
It worked on your season.
It ruined 39.
Yeah, it did.
Because it was like, hey, Dean,
congrats for showing up.
Here's Boston Rob.
And here's an I don't know the fire.
Good final five.
Anyway.
Anyway.
So here we go.
So here we go.
So let's go.
James Barber says Carl being a nickel back fan is incredible.
There you go.
But I get where we're coming from here.
And I think it's just bothering me that the people who are getting.
You know, getting these idols.
It's just they're being handed them.
And there's no normal idols.
And so I guess that's bothering me a little bit.
But we'll see what ends up happening.
I mean, Aubrey's got it.
I don't know.
We'll see.
I'm sure, you know, we're going to be here to like any way to work your way out of these first two boots for Jenna or Savannah.
It's like, I'm going to go around all camp to find an idol.
And it's like, cool.
You gotta send it to someone else.
You're like, well, that sucks.
And then they, she did mention shots in the dark exist.
But we never talked about it.
And I thought about it.
So I didn't play mine.
It's like, what?
I just forget about it.
But I get it.
But it's how you forget about it.
But I get it.
So what are, what are our advantages?
Do we have so far?
We had, well, um, Savannah just left with her block of vote.
Uh-huh.
She got voted out with that.
So we have the block of vote.
We have the extra vote.
Which Ozzy gave to series, the series and the two boomerang idols.
That's it.
So far.
And then we have Colby and Q without votes.
Yeah.
Kyle with.
I mean, how many more different advantages do you all think is going to?
I mean, I think we're getting three or four more before we even get to merge.
Like, I think it's going to be crazy.
And I want to say something else about the boomerang idol here,
because I would thought about this earlier.
And I almost forgot to mention it.
Now we're an hour in.
So I don't want to miss what I don't like about the boomerang.
I don't want a returning player season is.
Is I think it favors players with preseason connections way too much.
Because Genevieve is never going to get a boomerang idol from somebody.
Nobody's giving one of Genevieve.
She's playing solo from season 47.
So she's giving away.
No one's giving one to Genevieve.
He would give one to Genevieve.
I don't know.
But like, there are certain players where it's like nobody's giving one to Jonathan.
Nobody's giving.
Like, I think like Aubrey, you say, oh, well, Christian gave it to Aubrey.
Aubrey's playing alone.
Aubrey played on three seasons.
She played on a season with Rick Davins.
She played right after right after Christian season.
And she was on with Surrey in game changers.
And they both went to final six.
So I feel like it favors people who are returning more often than not.
People who have those connections are going to get these idols.
And the players like your Genevieve aren't going to be able to do anything with them.
So Genevieve finds one Genevieve.
Give them away.
She's got to pick the right person to give it to.
I mean, she could pick the right person.
I mean, who'd she give it to?
She gave it to Genevieve gave hers to.
Why am I drawing a blank on this?
Oh, Ozzy.
Ozzy.
So like, let's say Ozzy gets voted out next.
Or Ozzy gets voted out pre-merge.
Genevieve saw us to survive like one more tribal, one more tribal, one more tribe.
Like Genevieve also has to stay in without having an idol and knowing that no one's ever going to give her one.
I just feel like it's a little weird for a returning player season.
I actually think that this advantage will work better in an own new season where the people don't know each other.
You're just going based on, hey, I saw that guy Carl on the other side.
He had a cowboy hat on.
I like the magnificent seven.
So I'm going to give it to him.
Like, that's more fun.
Because then you get it.
And all of a sudden we try to stop and I go, hey, man, I know you don't know me.
But I know you're not going to match.
Right.
Right.
Right.
No, no, I agree with that.
Yeah.
I just, I just put two and two together.
Are you guys ready for this?
We're ready.
There's 21 people left.
How the hell are we going to get to three?
Five day 26.
Mr. Beast is one of these people.
I bet you Mr. Beast shows up to either right before merge or at the merge.
And his briefcase that's teased in that initial thing.
I bet you it's 50 to $100,000 for anybody that wants to leave the game right now.
And walk out and walk away.
They do that.
No way.
I don't.
Yeah.
I don't think Jeff will do that.
I don't think so.
Mm-hmm.
Because some people are in your name, but I'm wrong dead at final 12.
I feel like it would be.
Because A.
Mr. Beast does that on his show.
They've done that since the mole in like 20 2002.
So it is something that's been around.
It's never been on survivor because why would it be?
And it's hard.
Games hard.
But I do think there's some people that be like, there's no shot.
I'm going to win.
Should I take the $100,000?
Here's the problem though with it, especially on survivors.
Second place is $100,000.
So if you can't get second place, you're going to give second place money.
And then what third is 75?
That's too much.
It's probably 50 grand.
But it's Mr. Beast money.
Mr. Beast has more than 100,000.
Second place is more than 100,000.
Is it now?
I know that I was on my season.
Well, I know that the chat corrected and said you finished ninth place.
Price money.
It's like you're not getting.
It was still date 30.
But I'm just saying you're not getting you're not getting $75,000.
Right place.
Not at all.
I did not get $75,000.
No.
No.
So I don't think you can go that high.
You know.
So if I'm in ninth place, yeah, I take that $100,000 from Mr. Beast.
Yeah.
And they're not going to wait that far.
They're not going to.
Yeah, they would never do that.
But, but, but, but on my season, yeah, no.
Second place got more than 100,000.
Is that because?
Second place was a famous person.
Just.
I mean, I'm just telling you.
Second place got more than that.
That famous person was already a millionaire.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's interesting.
I always thought it was 100,000.
But I guess it's changed.
Early on, it definitely was 100.
But maybe they changed it.
Um,
Yeah.
I know we're almost at an hour.
Davey only made it like an hour 10.
Because he got tired or something.
So we're over it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's interesting.
I always thought it was 100,000.
But I guess it's changed.
Early on, it definitely was 100.
But maybe they changed it.
Um,
We're over an hour.
Am I talking about it?
He had to go do some Comic Con, Comic Cast type of stuff or something.
He said he was going to TikTok live.
Yeah.
Well, you know, he's, he's, he gets a check from TikTok.
So I ain't mad at him.
I only get a check from driving a damn 18 wheeler.
But.
And the white notice the one time, right?
You got to get it something there.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'm hoping another network.
They can send me some residuals.
Right.
I mean, I need for paramount or, or, or, or Netflix or something to pick it up.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'm in the credits.
Even though they cut my damn lines, I'm in the credits.
How much, how many lines were you supposed to have?
Can you say?
Oh, we had, we had quite a few.
We were, we were interacting with Natasha.
Okay.
Rob on the show, which is Belinda.
But yeah.
So yeah, HBO has something to do with all of that.
But.
Um, there you go.
Worth playing for says I'm a Carl fan for I'm a Carl fan.
What's the 499?
What is that?
That's how much I got to sing it.
That's not, that's not for you to worry about Carl.
That's for me.
Oh, shit.
Feel what am I getting paid?
No.
Yeah.
I know.
My baby just showed it.
No, you can.
Maybe just got home.
Maybe just got home.
Thank you.
No, it was someone we didn't mention at all.
And I'm drawing a blank on her name.
It was, it was, it was no, it was cat.
Not Tiffany.
I just spoke about tip.
Tiff yoked up though.
Um, she was cow's rider die.
She's, she's made who?
No, not cute cat.
Um, the one that just went out with the torn.
Um, um,
Okay.
So Camilla Camilla Camilla Camilla.
She's quiet is kept.
Yeah.
She had the moment on the on the mat where she was, you know,
saying, thanks, you know, our this is Brut 또.
I can't believe Kyle's gone, whatever and then that was it.
That's why that's why Joe is still up.
And ours because them to play Joe on their season.
Yeah.
But yeah, anyways.
I do think that there's something to that, right?
Like you have Aubrey who clearly is still feeling it
from what happened to her an edge of extinction.
She hasn't played since then.
She's feeling a little bit more pressure.
She made to look like a fool.
Joe just got made to look like a fool.
I think when that happens,
you do get a little bit paranoid.
Like you went out, you got blindsided,
but you didn't look like a fool going out.
You just got blindsided.
But Aubrey and Joe were kind of made to look like fools.
And that's never a good place to be.
And I think it's weighing on them a little bit more.
The difference between the two of them is that Joe
can bench press a Mac truck.
So he's going to be able to get to the merge,
whereas Camilla, if you have another puzzle person,
you don't really need to.
My favorite part about the episode
was when they're running through the challenge
and Camilla gets ahead of one person
and is running through the lane
and has her arms completely outside.
So the person behind her can't pass her.
That was my favorite.
Lexi going, welcome.
I know it was so funny.
So funny.
Carl, this one's also going to me,
but I'll read the comment anyway from worth playing for.
It says, give this one to Carl.
I don't know.
I can't find Carl's Venmo.
Sorry guys.
Hey, I promise you, I can send feel my Venmo
and he can send me all of everything you want to send me.
Yeah, exactly.
Actually, just just feels better before.
Just ship me this to my house.
I'll never forget.
We did the bet.
It was Astros Yankees.
This is always my favorite.
Astros Yankees, who's going to win it
will bet a case of beer.
It was a whole case of 24 beers and Astros won.
So we don't do anything.
We don't do anything, whatever.
And then it was like, it was like five months later.
And you guys had that crazy blackout, whatever it was in Houston.
And I just get a text from Carl that says,
hey, can I get that beer now?
It was so long after.
And I was like, damn, you need it right now.
And so I sent Carl his 24 beers.
I mean, whoever drove you to the Los Angeles at that time.
I was going to be back there doing too.
Huh?
Moving back there soon too.
But you're still in Florida now, right now I am.
Yeah, but we're moving back.
You're moving back to Los Angeles?
Yeah, we'll talk after.
What the hell, man?
I know.
Yeah, maybe I need a podcast.
I need shit.
I want to be able to move around the country.
From driving a work and shit.
You're seeing the country anyway.
That's the thing.
No, I do not.
I see the city of Houston.
Man, I'll tell you though, every time I go to pass a big 18
wheeler now, I'm always like, man, I
got to give them extra space because that could be Carl, you know.
So you've changed my life, Carl.
I don't go out of town anymore.
Them days are over.
Yeah, except for on April's first, let's let's name drop that.
People know to come say hi.
April first.
Yeah, I'll be in Atlanta.
April first.
That's what I'm saying at the Ron Clark Academy.
There you go, a watch party.
Yeah.
If you're in Atlanta, get your ticket.
I'm sure you know how to find out how to get one.
Because Carl's about to tell you I don't.
You'll come and Ron have free beers at his establishment.
Yeah.
That that events my favorite that event.
I went to last two days.
One of the fun now.
That's an amazing event.
The Ron Clark Academy wise party.
Oh, yeah.
And they're doing an RHAP podcast.
I had a significant other I could go.
I know.
No, Blake, you don't have to have a split.
You have a brother, Blake.
A.B. doesn't have one.
He's going to be there.
You have to be each other's significant other, Blake.
Brice and Windows going to be there.
I mean, they're each other's significant other.
Exactly.
Exactly.
Have you ever seen the two of them not in the same room?
Come on.
But Dad, I'm going to have those.
Yeah, no, yeah.
Any final thoughts before we wrap this up?
Blake?
I'm having fun watching Survivor again.
And it's the first time in 10 seasons
that there is a subtitle.
So I think that's the key.
Yeah, that's what it is, for sure.
Carl, who's your winner pick?
Who are you going out with?
Mike?
I'm a goal, my boy.
The white lotus director and say Mike White.
So you're worried he's in trouble, but you got his bag anyway.
Mike White.
I want to be on season four white lotus.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Well, we had that whole conversation when the cast got announced.
I said, it's BS.
Nobody's going to want to vote out Mike White.
He's the most powerful man in Hollywood right now.
They're all going to be on the show.
And then it was like, no, people nowadays,
they think like TikTok fame is the same as movie fame.
I was thinking like an old school or a little thing.
Carl's out there.
Carl's like, Mike, what do you need?
What do you need for me?
You want me to go get the firewood?
You just sit down.
You just keep doing crunches.
Don't worry about it.
What does that mean?
It's totally different.
The stuff I experience going on set in Thailand for the white lotus.
Oh my god.
That dude puts in some work.
He puts in some work.
And he posts poem season four to go do season 50.
Yeah.
But yeah, hit the production and all of that that's behind the scenes.
There's some actual acting.
Oh, yeah.
It's crazy.
But they do roll out the rear carpet for you, though.
I got to find a way.
He's got to do like a podcast or season and not just go with Evan Ross cats.
He's going to call me too, you know, I can pull out the chair, man, whatever he needs.
I watch, I've watched that clip of yours.
So I'm like, to my wife, I'm like, that's the guy I know.
That's it.
Ain't nothing like a business class flight from Houston to Thailand.
Oh, geez.
That's crazy.
Oh my god.
I have another one.
Yeah, I was going to say.
That was that's that's the flight.
I remember this now.
That was the flavor.
They said, oh, they're all out of alcohol.
They ran out of beers.
That's that's the one I wasn't drinking beers on that flight.
I was drinking alcohol on that flight.
Yeah.
Can you make my seat turn into a bed?
Please, man.
No, well, Carl, I will see you on April 1.
I'm excited to hear that you're going to be up in Atlanta.
I haven't seen you in person in a while.
Everybody else, thank you all so much for listening.
This was a really fun podcast.
Always glad to have Carl on.
John and McKenner are going to be live tomorrow with Survivor Rewind.
Like they always are on Fridays.
I think it's 7.30 p.m. Eastern.
And then on Sunday, I got Sophie Bilarity at 3 p.m.
for predictions and power rankings.
So we're cruising right along.
So thank you all so much for listening.
Make sure you like this video.
Subscribe to the channel.
I'll see if I can get Carl's Venmo.
I don't know if we have to find it.
But I sure can find this.
I'm going to have to get it.
Bing!
We all go out with that image in our minds.
Bye, everybody.
