Why receiver Ty Hilton has officially retired from the NFL after not playing since late

in the 2022 season with the Dallas Cowboys?

He shared the news on Wednesday, the repost on X, expressing thanks to the Indianapolis

Colts, the Cowboys, his fans, teammates and family.

The Colts selected him in the third round of the 2012 draft, and he stayed with the team

for full 10 years.

Hilton shone brightly in Indianapolis, reaching 1,000 receiving yards in five different seasons

and topping the league and receiving yards back.

In 2016, he earned four pro-ball selections and finished his Colts career rank third in

franchise history for both catches and receiving yards.

Over those 10 years, he racked up 631 receptions for 9,691 yards and 53 touchdowns.

Also 2022 passed with him unsigned, but he suited up for three games with Dallas at the

end, hauling in 7 catches for 100.
