The hat, the face, even the pose that the child model was in resembles Jim Crow era cartoons. Last year, Target faced an initial round of backlash after they dissolved DEI departments and practices across the organization. Hmm, maybe they could have used some help that would have prevented this whole costume fiasco to begin with... 🍋
