Taybor Pepper Joins Miami Dolphins

The 31-year-old sat out the entire 2025 season after his release and is now signing on with his new team. Pepper spent 5 years with the 49ers appearing in 80 regular season games from 2022-2024 plus 9 playoff. He brought steady experience to the special teams unit during that stretch. Before sticking with San Francisco, Pepper went undrafted out of Michigan State back in 2016. He bounced between a few squads before joining the Green Bay Packers in 2018. Interestingly, Pepper already has ties to Miami having played there during the 2019 season. That prior stint can make his transition smoother now. Meanwhile, the 49ers move quickly to extend John Weeks, who stepped in as their long snapper last year.
