Temple Hayes – Finding Happiness Despite What Life Throws at You

Some people start off life from third base. The advantages they’re given by coming from great homes with loving parents makes the odds of their finding success as they grow up pretty good. Then there are those who are born with three strikes and appear destined to lives of misery and despair.

Yet, more often than not, our early beginnings don’t necessarily predict success or failure. It’s how we handle the circumstances that we face that is the determining factor. No one knows this better than my guest, spiritual trailblazer Temple Hayes. The traumas she faced as a child were made worse by her having to hide her sexual identity from an intolerant family and community. Yet even then she knew she was here for a reason and she forged a new life dedicated to helping others live impassioned and energized lives. Having joined the ministry in 1991, Temple is now the spiritual leader at Unity Campus in St. Petersburg, Florida, revered internationally, and a key member of the Leadership Council of the Association of Global New Thought. Her book When Did You Die? is anchored in her work to fast-forward people to the impassioned and energized living they so richly want and deserve. She has also authored How to Speak Unity (DeVorss) and The Right to Be You and is a contributing author in the new book Crappy to Happy. Her popular radio show The Intentional Spirit reaches millions around the world.
