The AI Revolution, America’s Surveillance State & The UN’s Latest Push
About this episode
AI data centers are exploding, surveillance cameras are spreading, and even America’s political leaders are warning about something deeply strange happening inside the artificial-intelligence industry. Meanwhile, Florida is pushing back against Flock surveillance cameras, creating a blueprint for America; the UN demands reparations for slavery; and the United States is sending another $725 million to keep the globalist organization afloat.
On this episode of The Sentinel Report, we dig into the forces reshaping America and the world—from the battle over government surveillance and the future of the Supreme Court to collapsing birth rates, the death of feminist Gloria Steinem and her dark legacy, and Elon Musk’s growing influence over the midterms.
Plus, JD Vance discusses the “dark energy” he has encountered among powerful people—and bizarre burial ceremonies reportedly being held inside AI companies for obsolete AI models.
Guests in this episode include:
Abraham Hamilton III, lawyer and host of "The Hamilton Corner" on American Family Radio, to discuss the Lindsay Clancy case and the downfall of government schools.
Then, Dr. Brian Ray of the National Home Education Research Institute joins Newman to share shocking data about how well homeschoolers are doing academically compared to the government educated.
Finally, Alex Newman's eldest child, Marlee Newman, interviews social media superstar Chandler Hallow of the MrBeast crew to discuss his faith and Christian journey

I'm Hi everybody welcome to the Sentinel report. I am Andrew Muller chief of operations for Liberty Sentinel dot org sitting in for the great Alex Newman who's out on assignment and we'll be back very shortly with some very big news from an event he went undercover to report on more on that later stay tuned at Liberty Sentinel dot org and the new American dot com will have a lot on that moving forward. Welcome to the show got a lot to cover so much going on we've got a terrific lineup of gas Abraham Hamilton the third to talk about the Lindsey Clancy case Abe is a great Christian man homeschool dad former and active actually attorney. I'm going to talk about the knows a lot about these sorts of cases like the Clancy case going to get into that Dr. Brian Rae from the National Home Education Research Institute to talk about how homeschoolers are doing better than public schoolers surprise surprise. And then we also have Alex's eldest son Marlene and talking with Chandler Hollow Mr. Beast right hand man about Jesus Christ in the gospel great show and a lot of news lots of news Democrats voting against blocking the Supreme Court to stay at nine people glorious Steinem big feminists died so much more than that.
And then we'll talk about the more on the news segment but we're going to start off with a word from the word this is from Micah chapters X verse eight the word of God says this he has told you oh man what is good and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice and to love kindness and to walk humbly with your God. And this is something we need to be doing the fruits of the spirit there's all the loss right in the Old Testament and Jesus came and he summarized it and he said the whole law and the profits can hang on these two pegs love the Lord your God with all your heart mind and soul and love your neighbor as yourself and in the book of Micah we see that reiterated so before we get to the news I want to tell you about our friends over at Mark 13th. To the news I want to tell you about our friends over at Mark 37 this is a great company ghost phones Alex Newman of course the host of the show has famously used a flip phone phone for many many years he has switched to a Mark 37 ghost phone and the reason he did that is because every search query text Aaron all of it is logged by big tech Google the big companies that we don't like that don't share our values.
And most of us know this but we haven't done anything about it you still have your smartphone even I unfortunately still have my iPhone it's tough to get away from I know but there is something you can do you can go ghost which is a life decision it's no different than deciding to grow your own food pull your kids out of the government school system and of course a device alone is not going to set you free we know this but the education and habits can so Mark 37's ghost phone and ghost laptops are the tool you need they protect your data they shield you from these big AI. In big tech companies that want to search your data and sell it and these are great great products thousands of Americans have already started go to Mark 37 that's M.A. R.K. 3 7 dot com forward slash Liberty you can register for a free webinar to learn more and find out what it actually means to reclaim your digital life course there are no shortcuts as there never are in life but there are solutions so check that out Mark 37 dot com forward slash Liberty. Now some big news Florida has blocked flock this is a significant win we can thank governor on to Santa's for this one of the many things he's done now a lot of people are saying oh flocks totally banned from Florida well not quite that's not fully the case but we're getting closer the Florida Department of Transportation at dot has issued an order prohibiting the use of flock cameras on state roads so this is going to affect the whole state of Florida all of these cameras were shut off on September 1st.
They're going to be removed within 30 days by local law enforcement if they're not F dot's going to step in and this has been encouraging because a lot of counties now have followed suit Miami date County most significantly the biggest county in the state of Florida nearly 3 million residents has stopped using flock at the county level as a result of this move from the governor and F dot really encouraging folks now there's still going to be in some city areas if a city in the state of Florida has flat cameras and they want to keep doing it private property of course can still be in the state of Florida. They'll have some but the state and counties are really following this is very encouraging the governor who has been outspoken about this said quote I'm all about having law enforcement have the tools to hold criminals accountable but I don't want to have this become a surveillance state end quote and he is so so right so big win of course Florida is the third largest state in the union it's the peachy dish for the rest of geopolitics across the nation stay on the course Florida and stay the course other Republican states look at this example and consider it. In your own area another big story coming out of Congress Democrats vote down an amendment that would lock the Supreme Court at nine justices speaker of the house Mike Johnson has been touting this possibility for a long time of course it's a little performative we didn't think this was actually going to pass but last Wednesday House Democrats voted against an amendment a constitutional amendment that would lock the size of the Supreme Court at nine justices as it has been since 1869 the vote was 212 to 212.
106 which was not enough to get the 2 thirds majority rep Andy Biggs from Arizona who we love introduced this amendment and the amendment was very simple it's at the following quote the Supreme Court of the United States shall be composed of nine justices consisting of one chief justice and eight associate justices Democrats of course didn't like this. Now it is nice to have on the record that the Democrats want to pack the Supreme Court we know they've been wanting to do this forever but I do think this is emblematic of a bigger problem it's not just that the Democrats want to pack the Supreme Court because they want to make it 13 or 18 or 20 so that they can have a majority under a Democrat president appoint these folks for life and then be able to do whatever they want. That's a problem of course but the bigger problem is how our representatives view the Supreme Court they see the Supreme Court is the final arbiter as the law of the land is the end all be all that's where the buck stops were told if the Supreme Court weighs in on gun rights or free speech or pro life issues that's the law of the land right that's what we're told but that's not what the Supreme Court actually is little civics lesson you have article one right that's the legislature article to the executive and article three the judiciary and the judiciary and article three.
The Supreme Court is the most limited it's the smallest and it's the most powerless and Alexander Hamilton and federalist number 78 really spelled this out and this is important for us to recognize because the school systems the media it's indoctrinated us to think that the Supreme Court is this powerful entity that determines what the law is well this is what Alexander Hamilton had to say in federal 78. The executive not only dispenses the honors but holds the sort of the community the legislature not only commands the purse but prescribes the rules by which the duties and rights of every citizen are to be regulated the judiciary on the contrary has no influence over the sort of the purse talking about the legislature and the executive no direction either of the strength in wealth of the society it can take no active resolution whatever it may be said to have neither forced nor will but merely judgment and must ultimately depend upon the aid of the executive arm even for the efficacies of its judgments and that is what the sub our founding fathers believed ladies and gentlemen about the Supreme Court and yet we see continually Republicans and Democrats alike treat the Supreme Court like it's a spinal arbor so it does need to stay at eight justices I or nine justices excuse me I think that is the best path Democrats want a packet we got to stop them and unfortunately this amendment which I don't think is necessary if we just had an educated populace it wouldn't be necessary but it did not pass.
Now in other news the United Nations is calling for global slavery reparations you heard it right folks the UN's committee on elimination of racial discrimination curve release the document if you're watching us on TV that you see on the screen calling for immediate financial compensation educational initiatives and institutional reforms to remedy so called harms and suppose harms that were committed 200 years ago under the transatlantic slave trade now of course nobody would do that. I doubt that the transatlantic slave trade was real that people suffered as a result of it but the notion that the UN is going to charge Western civilization particularly America for the sins of our great great great great grandfathers yeah that makes a lot of sense this is what curd had to say in their document quote while some states bear to react responsibility for trafficking and enslaved Africans and radicalized transatlantic chattel slavery others may have benefited from facilitated or contrary to the fact that the United Nations is a part of the United Nations. They may have benefited from facilitated or contributed to sustaining the global economic and racial structures that emerged from these systems at the same time there are some states that neither engage nor benefited from these practices notwithstanding this distinction all states have a responsibility to support reputory justice for the legacies of these historical injustices given their enduring global impacts.
There are some states that directly did slavery over 200 years ago there are some that just benefited from it or contributed to it and there are some that just sat by and did nothing but all of you have to pay. Of course the writers of this document from the UN's agency curd have ties to Black Lives Matter no surprise Pelavoker Wilson a human rights lawyer from Liberia and gameic dogle lawyer from the United States. But dogle has ties to George Osoros open society foundation no surprise there and the council on foreign relations which is deep state headquarters if you well in the United States and they have ties to Black Lives Matter so no surprise there but you might be listening to that and say well Andrew yeah the UN they want transatlantic slave paybacks and retribution but it's not going to happen the Trump has destroyed the global is Trump has destroyed the UN well just in August here's another headline US keeps UN afloat with a seven hundred and twenty five million dollar payment so the US has given the UN nearly a billion dollars in dues now of course we owe them about four billion in dues and we've only given them seven hundred and twenty five million so it's a far cry from the four billion but still folks even a dollar ten dollars fifty dollars to the United Nations would be an absolute travesty this is an organization that wants a global new world order that wants to destroy borders destroy the family
combat Christianity it's no good and we shouldn't be giving them a penny in other news glorious Steinem feminist journalist activists died earlier this week at the age of ninety two glorious Steinem was a feminist she was a journalist she founded Miss magazine also was a part of the founding of some other publications such as New York magazine now glorious Steinem her big legacy was pushing for the equal rights amendment which famously she had an interlocutor village laughly who push back against the equal rights amendment ultimately defeated it stopping the trans nonsense and a lot of this equality DEC I see RT we experienced today in the modern woke era but glorious Steinem is getting a onslaught of tributes from Megan Markle to Jill Biden they Hillary Clinton and they're talking about how she changed the world and she changed feminism and she empowered women and I thought USA today kind of encapsulated the rock really well they didn't tend to their bragging but they ran this headline glorious Steinem touching tribute to doctor who made her abortion possible and in her book my life on the road
glorious Steinem did just that she thank doctor John sharp a London based doctor who referred her for an abortion in 1957 when it was still legal she credits him with liberating her so she can pursue her dreams she wrote in the forward of her book my life on the road doctor sharp of London who in 1957 a decade before physicians in England could legally perform an abortion for any reason other than the health of the woman took the considerable risk of referring for an abortion a 22 year old American on her way to India knowing that she had just in broken engagement at her home to seek an unknown fate he said you must promise me two things first you'll not let anyone know my name second you will do what you want with your life and she bragged about having the abortion made it a big deal and it's very startling ladies and gentlemen when you look at the current state of affairs in the United States of America where Lindsey Clancy a mother and Massachusetts killed her three children systematically in cold blood we found out late last week that that was deemed as a mistrial one juror a male juror out of 12 other jurors 75% of them being women held up the case and could not go along with
a not guilty verdict so now to mistrial we're going to see if it's going to be relitigated but that's the legacy of glorious time it's so called feminine empowerment where women were sold the lie that freedom looks like taking a nine to five job at Goldman Sachs that freedom looks like being the same as men and in reality feminism and what glorious thineum stood for was a complete inversion of God's design women are equal to men they're equal in the eyes of God but they have a different function as men have a different function from women women are to be the nurturers the raising of the raisers of children the home makers and of course they can work and be creative and do things but this notion that they had to become the same as men in so much as utility and that killing your children is liberation that's unfortunately the legacy of the glorious thineum now axios red a headline that also ties into this historic first older adults now outnumber the youngest children worldwide the insanity of this ladies and gentlemen is tough to overstate you can see the chart on your screen if you're listening to us that seniors have surpassed children in global population in 2023 and it's only getting worse and by 2060 they're projecting that 20% more of the population will be seniors
than children people 65 and older now outnumber children ages five and younger worldwide for the first time in recorded history according to a new report by the US census a global plunge in fertility is happening women are not having children even in the countries like India and China and we very well may see a future where the global population is going to decline to the point where it's not sustainable because we have had globalists and elites have an issue which is creating inflation and an unlivable economy for young people to get married by a house have kids and now they're saying well we need people to fill the factories people to pick the cucumbers people to do the job so we got to have open borders mass migration no the answers getting back to a gold standard getting rid of the federal reserve stopping inflation eradicating income tax property tax and allowing young people to get married and have kids close the borders and encourage an America in a country and an economy of reproduction that's the answer
now in other political news as we head towards the midterms it's really a coaching fast ladies and gentlemen if you have not been paying attention the midterms are literally just 60 days or less away Elon Musk has dumped a boat load of money into the midterms for Republicans over 400 million dollars in a war chest the daily wires reporting on this that tech billionaire Elon Musk is throwing more than 800 thousand dollars behind vulnerable Republicans and house and Senate races it's big big numbers particularly his America pack it's a political group that he has formed it helped elect Donald Trump in 2024 some of the biggest donations have gone to Texas with $254,000 going to support attorney general Ken Paxon and is tighter than expected Senate race against James Tallerico the so called Christian who says abortion and stealing guns is a biblical prospect the America pack you see it by Musk is also spending tons of money on this
to help support senator Susan Collins in Maine senator John Houston, Ohio senator Dan Sullivan and Alaska ref Ashley Hank Heinssen and Iowa Chris and new new and New Hampshire and Mike Rogers and Michigan so this is something to keep in mind of course Elon Musk is not giving up it appears doge is not stopping at least in the Elon Musk sense he's pouring tons of money into this and it is interesting to see where this will go Trump in the tech world is saying that AI data centers are the future and if you're against AI data centers then your backwards and poor he posted this on truth social on August 31st he said the only reason that communities throughout the USA should not want data centers is if they want to end up being backwards and poor if they want to succeed and be rich with far lower taxes and jobs all over the place let data rain the good news is that there are plenty of other places that want them I hate the condescending if we kill the golden goose you will have yourself to blame China will not be happy China could not be happier with this anti data center movement actually they can't believe it's happening president JT
I'll tell you what Donald J Trump we're not backwards and poor we don't want large AI data centers full of H1B foreign labor visas working in them and these AI data centers are sucking water they're sucking power they're humming and we also don't want AI data centers that are going to fuel the new world order in the technology so we don't want to be backwards and poor we just don't want to be surf since slaves how about that well representative Tim Birchett I think encapsulated this well he said I guess I'm backwards and poor here's what he had to say what do you think of Donald Trump saying that Americans who support data centers are backwards and poor like I guess I'm as that don't support it's yeah they don't support the other backwards and poor I guess the backwards and poor you said yeah I think what we need to do is start putting those in um military installations in places like that and they they've done a they've done a poor job of educating the public on those things they just were for them and then you should be for them kind of thing the intelligentsia and I think what we're going to have to see is some of the facts out on them and they don't use the
the total waste system for the water they recycle the water now and we need more local control should have brought everybody to the table we used to stay in the legislature go a little slower you get there a little faster yeah I agree with the congressman from Tennessee this is a big problem and you know the people behind these data centers are the big techie leetists this Peter teal it's uh injuries and horror wits it's Ben Horowitz Mark injuries and it's you know all the Alexander Carp's of the world Mark Zuckerberg these are guys we can't trust ladies and gentlemen and this whole wealth we don't do it the Chinese will uh that's a fear tactic the Chinese steal all of our technology anyway and the United States made China into the global behemoth it is we need to start ensuring our industry and cut off China then we won't have to worry about them so much JD Vance went on Bryce Crawford's podcast he said something very surprising about these big tech oligarchs no surprise but a little shocking see what JD Vance said
have you ever been in a room though like in Washington that feels spiritually dark because I've been in a room that's like okay you feel like Satan is is presently here or there's blatant evil have you ever felt that just being in a room with around power and fluent stuff like that yeah so so so definitely though less like a room itself and more sometimes like people that are around you sometimes give you a very very bad feeling um you know I I've definitely you know I've been in meetings with world leaders where various issues are being discussed and somebody will say something or somebody will make an observation and I will like feel a certain darkness about it and I kind of like it sort of sets off every spiritual alarm bell in my body like whatever that person just said I need to be very careful because that's not that's not a great thing I think that there are like things about the world that make me feel like not shocked if the antichrist was was walking
among us but again I try not to focus too much on it I think that you know I I made life as living as an investor in Silicon Valley sort of right before the AI boom really started I sort of got into politics and you know there are things that some of the AI companies you see happening where you feel like there is some really really weird spiritual dark energy so like have you have you heard this like one of the companies you know that develops these models when they get rid of one model and announce a new model they actually hold a burial ceremony for the old model and like the employees apparently will cry what the heck yeah yeah that's that's odd that that that makes me feel very that's really weird that makes me feel very uncomfortable and there's some some some dark spiritual things going on I mean people have like AI romantic partners now people are watching watching watching my strange addiction again you know yeah really weird stuff going on folks I've worked on a lot different projects and in my world in journalism
if I'm writing an article and I decide not to publish it or it doesn't get published I don't go out and bury it and cry obviously there's something spiritually dark happening here so insane stuff stay tuned we got some more on the Sentinel report coming up some great guests Abraham Hamilton the third discuss Lindsey Clancy Dr. Brian Rae to discuss how homeschoolers are outperforming public schoolers and Alex Newman's eldest son Marley Newman talking with a big YouTube star who reached hundreds of millions about the gospel Jesus Christ stay tuned all this and more on the Sentinel report if you've been following Alex Newman is reporting on the great taking you already know the laws governing your IRA and your 401k were quietly changed what you may not know is what to do about it specifically for your accounts my name is Andrew Winett I'm a certified financial fiduciary and the founder of retirement renegade I spent a million dollars producing the retirement reset the documentary Alex Newman appears in alongside Tucker Carlson Ben Stein Lauren

people joining a sympathetic crowd in support of the mother who killed her children and we've got children in government schools who could not read their way out of a paper bag they don't know what bathroom to go into you've got lots of them thinking that their cats and they need to be in litter boxes it's just unbelievable what is happening in our society right now under by the way I should remind everybody republican control of both houses of congress and the white house the culture continues to collapse all around us joining us to discuss all of this and much more is my friend Abraham Hamilton he does so many things he is a nationally syndicated radio host on the American family radio network he's a husband he's a father of six incredible children who have had the pleasure of meeting he's an attorney extraordinary he's a home school dad he's a bible teacher if you've never heard this man preach you are missing out he is one of the greatest preachers I think that we have in our country just astounding how he preaches and he also is general counsel for the American
family association and he's a public policy analyst there that's a small condensation of his biography a welcome to the program thanks for joining us on the central board today oh man thank you for having me and thank you for that gracious introduction uh you're you're you're very kind of making some time for us uh we're honored to have you a we saw a video going around on social media a teacher just breaking down in tears at what he saw with the students who are supposed to be becoming adults soon and going off into the world and running companies and voting and things like this uh let's roll a piece of that clip and then we'll get your response two paragraphs to read one sentence complete to write i gave them the sentence stamps i basically completed the sentence for them in the model he's a 17 an 18 year old kid and they couldn't fill in four words
four words i gave them the scenario we annotated together i gave them the answers before we even had the problem and he couldn't do it well that's a pretty dramatic Abraham uh what do we make it i know you've focused a lot on education of course you're passionate about this you homeschool your own children like me but uh what do we make of this is our country in really big trouble i would have to say so and and one of the things that that i say often which i know you you have heard me say and you say as well is that uh government education system is not really failing it's operating uh as it's been constructed and so when you have this teacher dearest Williams who shows up second day of school at Wheeling High School in Houston Texas and both assignment for seniors and he's confronted with the fact that they cannot read and cannot write um it is it is heartbreaking because in order for this to
happen these children didn't just show up on the second day of class just learning or unlearning the ability to read this is something that has existed and ninth grade tenth grade eleventh grade so so why hasn't why haven't people cared sufficiently helped these children learn how to read the superintendent of the school district when the interviewed he said of his own admission well this is not a new thing this is not a novel phenomenon to which i would say well if it's not novel why are we continually pouring in your trillions of dollars you know uh Texans in the Houston independent school district is the larger school district in Texas uh untold what millions hundreds of millions billions of dollars going in property taxes to a to a school district and a school system where they're turning out seniors who can't read now i know it's not every senior in the school but one in my estimation is too much for that to happen and for that to continue and we know what's happening yet there's not a radical recalibration as to how we approach education in our country at some point we have to say it's not failing it's operating as it's been designed yeah you're so right Abe and
i think that that's what shocks people the most because we can all understand like all right it's a mistake it's a failure we messed up somewhere we need to change public policy but to try to explain to people like no the people who built this system actually wanted your children to be dumb they thought they'd be more easy to manipulate that way that's what really shocks people and and i think the contrast is helpful here too you know i looked at a lot of the data in early america do panjini more did a study back in like 1812 he said not more than one in a thousand young americans was unable to write legibly even neatly we've got multiple studies from back then and from today we had almost universal literacy in Boston and philadelphia all across the united states and even before that in the colonies and yet today the last time the federal government looked at this 1993 they did a comprehensive adult literacy survey they put 50% of americans in the bottom two categories four and five in other words they're essentially functionally illiterate they might be able to read a stop sign but they wouldn't be able to read their way out of a paper bag and and yet we spent a trillion dollars a year on this now we do have the department of education
apparently now deciding that they're going to take seriously the epidemic of sex abuse in the schools according to their data from 2004 something like 10% of the children in government schools are facing sexual misconduct sexual abuse in some cases full blown rape from a faculty member the lady who came up with those numbers actually more recently released new numbers almost 20% is this a symptom of something deeper do we have a deeper rot here beyond just the illiteracy in the sex abuse and the psychological problems and all that what's really at the core here Abe yeah the the core issue that we have and you absolutely right identify the fact that this is symptom my symptomatic of a deeper root problem is that our nation is turned away from God and when I say that the system is functioning as as it's been designed I mean you publish books you've done research I've heard you speak on this issue as well but that's exactly what many of the architects of the modern government education system sought was to create a populist that was godless and the best way to accomplish that was by infiltrating and creating a system that's
funded by taxpayer dollars and require every American citizen to send their children through it if possible you know I was gobsmacked to see Supreme Court opinions to where the the the descend in a particular case concerning school vouchers and things from the main area where the Supreme Court justice said that the government education system is the primary values transmission system in our country I was on page 10 of the descent it's a primary values transmission system that that our democracy rests upon and I say wait a minute I don't think most parents when they send the children to school that they're doing so with the mindset that yeah by the way I'm sending my children to to the primary values transmission in our nation but that's exactly what's happening so when you reject the god of the bible from your system yet you're transmitting values what values exactly are you transmitting amen it's a very good question and you know you and I have talked about this in the past and education really is discipleship and you know Christians who have
children you really need to be thinking about this and praying about this because as Jesus himself says in Luke you know the the student's not great in the teacher the the student who's Holy train is going to become like the teacher so how do you want your children to end up do you want to be faithful to what god commands already want to let the world and the flesh and maybe even the devil disciple your children for you so be in prayer about this Abe I wish we had more time but I want to switch to another issue you of course are an attorney you have prosecuted many cases and we have this case out of Massachusetts this just I think really hard for a lot of people to understand because we've got this mother who literally murdered her three children at least killed them I guess the state right now trying to prove that it was murder and and yes she was on all kinds of psychiatric drugs and you know there was all kinds of stuff going on there but we've got thousands of women maybe more who are like showing up outside the courthouse and cheering and raising money for her and a lot of people are just perplexed like what's going on here what do you make of this but first of all from a legal angle is this murder or they're extenuating circumstances
second of all what does this say about our society that it has become a place where moms can kill children and there are some people within society who will actually cheer for you and raise money for you yeah man I want I wanted to mention what I referred to that Supreme Court case where the government education system was referred to as the primary value transmission system was a case called Carson birds is making and it was just a Stephen Breyer's the central pace 10 of his descent but turning to this this Clancy case man it is galling as as you mentioned I prosecuted major felonies for a word decade including numerous homicide trials I've tried numerous homicide cases to verdict and I've handled hundreds of cases that included unfortunately mortality and things that murder homicide traffic fatalities you name and I'm handled those cases and I don't think the public is aware of just how often mental health is used in an effort to try to excuse the defendant from criminal responsibility it is something that I personally have encountered and when you get right down to it the issue that the jury is being presented to make a determination concerning
as whether or not the accused party Lindsey Clancy in this instance knew that she intentionally was murdering her children the simple fact is the answer to that question is yes the defense has even admitted that you know yet you have some people online trying to say no no no no her husband is one who murdered the children not even the lawyers defending Lindsey Clancy in the trial have made such an absurd argument so why would thousands of women potentially support a woman who has intentionally strangled to death three of her children in sequential order I don't think people understand what it takes to snuff the life out of a human being increasing in size is going to be different time periods of as much as six minutes per child and the issue with whether or not the mental state would absolve her of criminal responsibility the fundamental assessment is does she was she unaware of what she's doing was wrong and I would argue the simple answer to that question
is she knew what was wrong one of the key facts in the case that let she know she did know what's wrong is that she waited until her husband was not present in the home to do what she did and so it's really grieving to me to see how our culture is responding to this and to see how how many women are coming out in support of what she did and it makes me wonder how many of those women may be posted board of themselves as they and say find a bit of resonance with Lindsey Clancy know that about is the tragic case but when we as a society are no longer capable of saying we understand that mental health is real we understand that there are things like postpartum depression postpartum psychosis which are not the exact same thing they're not synonymous terms well at the exact same time we are a society that requires accountability when people intentionally take the life of innocent human beings this is the exact same argument that was made meaning mental health should absolve criminal responsibility that exact same argument was made for the for the murderer of Irene Zorutzka murdered who was murdered in on a on a on a on a train on a bus in earlier this year that's the
exact same argument that was made but I didn't see anybody show up and in mass support of that murderer I don't recall seeing that maybe I might have missed that yeah it's so bizarre even and I don't know if it's coincidental but it's interesting that the state where this is happening massachusetts just signed into law one of the most radical abortion bills in not just the country but the world you can literally murder your baby legally in massachusetts right up until birth and and I mean it's logical to say well if you can murder your baby two minutes before he or she is born what's the difference with murdering the baby two or three minutes after he or she has come out of the womb is there really a substantial difference even the last couple minutes that we have left what do we do as Christians as as people who want to see truth and righteousness lifted up as as we see these very ominous trends not just in massachusetts obviously but across the whole country how do we respond to this what should we be doing if we want to do something constructive yeah one of the
first things I would say we have to pray we have to be a people who pray Jesus has to instruct us concerning praying and when people say well give him tell me something else to do other than praying that usually comes to people who are not used to pray it's a powerful reality that Christ commanded us to do secondarily we need to be salt light where we are which includes proclaiming the gospel and making disciples where we are one of the major issues that we face and I say this often on my show is that darkness and not an affirmative force but it reoccupies the space that is vacated by the light because of the reality that education is discipleship cultivation of the mind is central to disciple making what is largely happening in our society that we've seeded cultivation of the mind to god haters and we've had people who have been discipled in an anti-Christ system because that's truly truly what it is what we shouldn't be we shouldn't be surprised then when people embrace anti-Christ's positions and culture when they've been discipled to do so you quoted Jesus's reference the student when fully trained will be like his teacher so we need to to recapture that ground of cultivating the mind for our own children for our grandchildren and this is
an application of loving our neighbors as ourselves and thirdly I would say is that we should work locally where we live for the good the true and the beautiful right where we are you know you mentioned that the state of Massachusetts passes horrendous bill well the state of state of Massachusetts has a legislature that's comprised of state legislate representatives and state senators and they live in neighborhoods and communities where other Massachusetts citizens live as well and so we need to work out when he started the first in our own homes then out into our local communities refuse to allow national headlines to manipulate us away from being faithful locally and be something like right where god has placed us god doesn't expect us to win the entire world but he does expect us to be so light in our world where he's placed us as act 17 says amen that's right we we can trust god with the results we just need to be faithful in obeying him and he called us to do all of those things and before we let you go you host the Hamilton corner wonderful wonderful program I encourage people to tune into that you have an account on ex where people can follow you tell people what's the best way to follow your work and keep on top of which

Hey guys Alex Newman here I want to tell you about a wonderful ministry that is doing incredibly important work and that's public school exit I am very blessed to serve as the volunteer executive director we've got an incredible team and our mission is simple try to get as many children into the safe sanctuary of Christian education as humanly possible as quickly
as possible. Government schools are no place for children children need to learn about God they need to learn the word of God they need real education they need to learn how to read right and do math and we all know that's not what's happening in the government schools in fact what's happening is they're turning our children into revolutionaries little radicals ready to burn down our churches and our civilization not to mention our families. So go check it out today publicschool exit.com we've got all kinds of resources for parents for pastors for taxpayers for everybody down the line and folks this is one of the most critical battles so go check out our partners at publicschool exit.com publicschool exit.com. Welcome back to the Sentinel Report folks I've been saying for years that home school students seem to do much better than the children in government schools and institutional schools and the evidence so far has largely shown that to be the case on average home schoolers are doing much better there's a study 15 years ago that provided a lot of evidence that there is really a correlation
between home education and better outcomes on the government's own standardized tests again other metrics too but focusing just now on the government standardized tests joining us now is a new study that shows really impressive results actually better than the last one and the man behind that study is Dr. Brian Ray he is a fascinating individual he's the head of the National Home Education Research Institute and I believe he's the top home school researcher in the world he does more of this kind of academic research than anybody else Dr. Ray thank you so much for joining us today on the Sentinel Report you're welcome thank you for having me Alex it's good to be here that's an honor and a pleasure Dr. Ray tell us about this new study what did you find we found out that after about 15 years since the last nationwide study it was a little different than I thought maybe what would happen Alex I mean after all these years and the home school community and movement and population expanding in the United States of America and all over the country I thought if anything
maybe we would find some kind of regression toward the mean on standardized test scores now let me say right up front I do not idolize or worship standardized test scores all right everybody's got to get that on the table but it is a currency by which some of us discuss education and in this nationwide study with students from all over the country we found out that on average again like in past studies they were scoring anywhere from about 25 to 29 percentile points above the standardized test norm which is the 50th percentile you know so it's kind of like wow a broken record you know what we had in the past we had state data government collected test scores in different states it required home school students to be tested I did the first big nationwide state back in 1990 I think I did another one published around 97 and then another one around 2010 I did a nationwide study in Canada and then study after study Dr. Larry Rudner by
the way it's not just Brian Ray not just Brian Ray that you know studies a little bit academic learning but in consistently on average let's put that way on average consistently home educated children are doing better statistically than those in particularly public schools so that's what we keep finding I mean that sounds like wow whatever it's fascinating the reason I thought there might be some regression toward the mean was the broadening of the population you know just general diversity any you know all kinds of different characteristics and when when a sub population gets more like the regular population you expect some scores to get more normal you know more average but we did not find that now even more and you you could stop many time I actually know I'll just roll no please keep going we just roll we also found that again like in some other studies there were very almost nothing correlated with their test scores in other words for example in public schools almost everybody knows
children of wealthier parents wealthier households do what better or worse than children of lower income they do better yeah you know everybody knows in public schools institutional schools children of parents with higher formal education do what better or worse than children of parents with lower formal education better we all we all know this from decades and decades and decades of research we also know in research on on public schooling in particular this is a touchy subject but hey who on average gets the highest test scores ethnic wake agents okay and then who is sort of about average okay white anglos and then who's below them Hispanics and maybe below them blacks okay and and that's a long topic we don't need to get into that but in the home school study within this population very very very few differences on those measures so we we we we got the test scores on reading language math you know the three hours so to speak and science and social studies and then
when you you know put a matrix of the five topics and all these variables it's you've got all these these demographic variables and these independent variables these predictive variables down the left-hand column and then across that you know or excuse me left-hand on the rows and then you get the columns the different test scores very very few if anybody reads research reports and you see the little asterisk you know it's like 0.05 or 0.01 or 0.1 statistical significance very very very few of any of those Alex so again in some ways it's like well this is fascinating but for those who have been reading research it's not real new because that's what we found in the past and you know sometimes people ask me well why why Brian right what's the deal why don't these why don't these things in the homeschool world predict very well academic achievement as measured by a standardized test I think and I've written on this before years ago I had an article of 2013 P body journal of education I've written at other places in a book I did a nationwide study book and I think there's something
about all these factors that we're going to talk about in a moment that ameliorate these demographic features that seem to matter in institutional schooling so you know you look at things like individualization ask people when did children usually learn more when they have an individualized instruction and pedagogy or a one-size-fits-all well we almost all know individualized when do they learn more when it's customized to their strengths weaknesses dreams and desires or when they're all treated the same I mean we all know when it's customized when did children usually learn more when they have more terms of conversation Denny tolerations between adult and child or less we all know the answer more you know when do they find more when they're bullied more or less because they usually learn more when they're not bullied you know when do they usually learn more when they're with people who really love them and care about them y'know it's called social capital We all know they usually learn more when there were people who really love them and care about them. So you know, you just go down that list and don't even mention the H word home schooling and most people would agree well if you have all those factors in a system.
Probably they'll do pretty well and then I say well, you know those those variables are systemically natural to apparent lead home based environment. And so I still think that's why they do well. I mean, why would they not do well? I mean, it's kind of flip the question. Why would they not do well? Yeah, you know, and the negative yeah, go ahead Alex. Well, it's fascinating and now I want to add here to Brian that you know, I'm a homeschool dad. I with my wife and I we homeschool our six children wouldn't trade it for the world. We have spent in 16 years of home education exactly zero minutes and zero seconds preparing our children for any kind of standardized test and knowing thousands of homeschool families all across the country. I don't know any homeschool family who's ever spent any time worrying about a government test and yet still the homeschoolers are doing better. And yet Brian, we're seeing now we only got a couple minutes left in the segment, but we're seeing now this almost hysteria among some elements of the Democratic party.
It's a Connecticut illinois Minnesota, New Jersey. We've got to regulate the homeschoolers. We got to make them follow the government curriculum. We got to test them more. We got to get parents to have permission from CPS. I know you guys looked at this in this study. Did government intervention, did government regulation of homeschooling really have any effect on outcomes? Did people do better in more highly regulated environments? Almost nothing. It was kind of funny in ironic. There were a couple little asterisks in all of those, you know, those whatever how many cells we had over 20 cells. And in some of the states where there was more regulation or government control homeschooling, the test scores were higher. So how do you explain that? I don't know. I've had a lot of parents tell me, well, it's because in the government regulated states, you have to worry about what the government is going to say, if they try to follow their curriculum more. And so you have less time to do what home based education is, which is focus on love, care about the child. I mean, that's, that's what some parents have told me. I don't, we can't prove that, but it is a little ironic.
You know, those in those states like the Connecticut and some of these examples, they're getting into some horrible logical policies. They're they're basing a lot of their decisions and they're thinking on emotion that says, hey, if we look at a few case studies of some really bad horrible examples out of millions of homeschool children, that we could come up with a law that we would control homeschooling more. So we get rid of these very, very tiny few minority situations use that same logic in the public school system. And you know this, Alex, you were written on this that the latest estimate is that 11.7% of public school children, K 12 by the time they graduate will be sexually maltreated by school employee is. You have all that regulation, all that control by the state, and yet, these children are not protected. It's the same kind of idea in homeschooling with a statistically insignificant amount of something not good going on. They think they're going to control that out of the world. You can't do it.
And Brian, I'm so thankful for your work. I'm really thankful. I know you have busy. You are thankful that you made time for us. I want to encourage people to go to your website. It's nhur.org that says for national home education research institute.org. You'll find this study and all kinds of other useful information. Folks, there's nobody else out there doing this. John Hopkins setting up like a little group that I think they hope will replace Brian and nary. That's not going to happen. But Brian, thank you very much for joining us. Really appreciate your research and really appreciate your time. Welcome. Thank you for having me on. That's an honor to pleasure. Thank you, sir. All right, folks. Stay with us. We'll be back with more right after this. In the grand tapestry of nature, a delicate balance weaves lives intricate threads today. Welcome back on into the Sentinel report. I'm Andrew Muller, guest hosting for Alex Newman. And we have kind of a unique segment here for you, something a little different. Alex is eldest son, Marley Newman, who's doing a journalism fellowship or internship. You might call it with the Liberty Sentinel was able to providentially interview in a hotel cafeteria.
You can't make this stuff up Chandler hollow now that name didn't mean much to me and it might not mean much to you, but to a whole army of young people online, it means a lot. Chandler hollow is the right hand man of Mr. Beast, Mr. Beast, though I've never watched any of his content and you guys might not be familiar with him. He is a mega YouTuber. I think he's like the biggest YouTuber in the world hundreds and hundreds of millions of subscribers billions of views and he does a lot of trivial stuff games and you know, just these big challenge videos, but this Chandler guy has his own following hundreds of millions of followers and Marley was able to talk to him about not the YouTube or the fame, but his faith in Jesus Christ. And we thought it was important. We thought it was powerful and for context, this young man, Chandler hollow is reaching just an army of young people with the message of Jesus Christ in the gospel. We thought it was special. One and you to see it here is Chandler hollow with Marley Newman. Check it out. So you've been a public figure for your entire life, but you've also been very active and both well about your faith. Could you explain how being a public figure has shaped how you influence people with your Christianity?
Okay, I like that. I'm gonna say that. Yeah, so how I influence people with my faith. Yes, sir. Yeah, I think at first when I got influence, I don't think I was using my influence for Christ. I came to Christ four years ago, five years ago. And then it got started to use the platform they gave me and the influence it gave me for to reach people online and in person. So I think now like I only use it for for his glory. You know, only really his his you know, it's his platform. And he's just using me to spread the gospel and tell people what he's done in my life. Great. So throughout your journey in Christianity, I mean, you're a somewhat recent Christian. Have people been supporters of you and not how have people reacted to you using your platform for great cause.
Yeah, I think I've had a lot of favor from God. This has not been a lot of like rejection online or in person. People are really receptive and loving. I mean, there's some comments, you know, but it's really a lot of grace and favor. Like everyone's been really just receiving a bead. You know, giving my life to Jesus and being open and talking about it. Yeah, you grew up in a Christian home. Could you explain how that kind of transitioned into a real relationship? Yeah, for sure. So I mean, I grew up, like you said, I grew up in a Christian home and I didn't really know Jesus. You know, I thought I did, but I didn't. You know, I said he was my savior, but I wasn't living for God. And when I left my parents home, I really found that my faith was, I had no foundational faith. And I started to dream, I started to do drugs and, you know, was going after women into the things of the world. And then, you know, I was so tired of doing those things after two or three years. And then I just started crying out to God.
And he met me where I was and he said, he said, I remember one morning in my kitchen, I woke up and I said, I didn't say this, but God said to me, he said, what are you doing? And I froze in my kitchen and I started looking at my hands and I was like, what am I doing? And then from that day on, I was able to just seek out the God with all my heart. And, you know, I felt free in that way. And I just threw everything away that I was doing, you know, all the bad things. And I started to seek out the God. And I really, from now I truly have a relationship with God. And, you know, he's all I look for. So, yeah. So what is the future look like for you and how you're going to continue to share your faith using the platform that you've been given? Yeah. So I think I was just telling my friend Andrew, who's holding the camera. And by the way, we just, this guy was sitting over here eating breakfast and then this happened. We just met. So, I think the Lord has put the ministry on my heart where I want people to encounter God through the power of the Holy Spirit through miracle signs and wonders and give their lives to him.
So. And then for the people watching. For the people watching, what do you think the most important thing you can leave them with something that they should remember? Just seek after God with all your heart and love them with all your heart and everything else will take care of. This is Chandler. Hello here. I'm with Liberty Sentinel Media. Thank you so much.
