The Alabama Axe Murderess

About this episode

What was left of the two men found scattered across Alabama backroads was known simply as “Mr. X” and “Mr. Y. It took nearly three weeks to identify them. They both looked the same, though, their arms and legs had been removed at the shoulders and hips. Their heads were still attached, but shotgun blasts to their faces rendered them unrecognizable. Police suspected this to be the work of a maniacal vagabond. It never occurred to authorities that they should be looking for an axe-wielding woman right in their own backyard.
