This illustrated children's book tells the story of Duchess and her three talented kittens, who live a life of luxury in Paris with their wealthy owner, Madame Adelaide. Their comfortable existence is threatened when a greedy butler named Edgar kidnaps them to secure an inheritance, abandoning the cats in the remote countryside. During their journey home, they meet a friendly alley cat named Thomas O’Malley, who protects the family and helps them navigate various dangers. Upon returning to the city, the stray cats and a brave mouse join forces to defeat the butler, ultimately shipping him away in a trunk. The story concludes with Madame welcoming the new cats into her home, officially expanding her family of Aristocats.
