This is the Daily Grind.

Today's Bible verse is 2 Timothy chapter 1 verse 8.

Therefore, do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord,

nor of me his prisoner, but share in suffering for the gospel by the power of God.

Today's title is, a faith that doesn't fold.

It's hard for us to imagine the Bible being outlawed,

and it becoming a crime to possess a copy of the Scriptures.

But what if it happened?

What would you do?

Would you comply?

Would you turn yours in?

It has happened in Albania, China, the Soviet Union, and North Korea.

Today, approximately 50 countries are considered extreme,

severe, or considerable in their restrictions regarding the Bible.

Paul tells his young pastor and friend, Timothy,

do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord.

The power and challenge of that word still holds true today.

Choose this day whom you will serve.
