About this episode

Send us Fan Mail

In this weeks episode I am joined by Mike Halliday from ALET,  Mike Hook from LMG, and Candace Rose from UTC Heathrow. We discuss the recently established Digital Futures Programme, a data centre training programme specifically focussed on 14-19 year olds.

Firstly we discuss why the Digital Futures Programme was established and how the idea came about. The programme enables young people to gain an insight and education into the data centre sector.

We then cover what the programme entails and discuss a recent challenge day that enabled to students to get a great insight to the data centre sector.

Finally we discuss the impact the programme will have on young people and why collaboration is so important when you are looking to solve a skills shortage.
