Hung out with my friend Danielle Moodie and talked about light things: the failure of the American Empire, what it’s like to live in a time of possible revolutions, and what is at the core of fascism’s self-destructive impulses. It was a good hang considering there is a palpable feeling of change and potential change in the air, a feeling that we’re experiencing like so much electricity. We’re on the verge of war, fascistic completion, economic collapse, and, yet, there’s a sense that we might be approaching a desired moment of transformation.
