are you gonna get this done you're gonna have all your steps together so listen that's the
life lesson on today and listen I want to tell you guys I have a very very special guest with me
on today got some hot music hot music we're gonna cut it up we're gonna chop it up just like a piece
state you know I like you know when I used to eat me I used to like steak right but it had to be
really tender really tender really tender so listen I don't want no piece of meat that I put it my mouth
and you know I got to be chewing it for about a thousand times no that's not the way I wanted
you on a piece of meat so listen listen I ain't gonna be nice today because author see put them
in here with me so I'm gonna be very nice on today go mad my man listen I'm gonna make
my man listen listen I got a really great guest on today he got some hot music he's very talented
man see I got real fast when I got something really juicy y'all gonna love the music he's gonna
tell us about his book I mean he is fantastic fantastic you gotta love it so listen he found
himself in a predicament he wasn't in visual that had some social challenges and learning
differences that made school a little different a difficult for him now it was difficult for me too
my difficulty was I didn't know when to stop talking my mother always called to that
there's a miss master the girl is real smart but we can't get her to shut up
they get one of me class you just gonna be quiet so listen listen to y'all something
mr. Arthur has an extensive bio and since bio but listen he's got a lot of great music you can
find it on Spotify Apple Music iTunes and then I really like this he's bringing back the soul
and storytelling you know make me want to talk my heart you know they're all my good stuff get
all caught up let me calm down at my hey girl my hey okay well listen he's bringing back the soul
and storytelling of the 90s music that's what I love I love that I love that at his album confessions
continues to grow with the powerful track the kill reaching listeners worldwide worldwide oh awesome
Arthur's also a production supervisor clean test products where leadership is more than just a
title it is action it is for example he believes being a leader shows true strength and yes it
does shows true strength it's not about the title it's about what you bring to the table I'm loving
it's about how you see it and so mixed together so you can grow your own tree and God's way
oh that's delicious God is the plan God is the oh man jump right in there welcome thank you
you're welcome you won't so listen I love that I love what you say about God being part of
planning and in the way so listen let me ask you this what's the one thing you would want
the audience and a listening audience to know about you well just want to know you know I'm a man
that has a lot of changes that I had to go through I'm a man of God and I'm pretty much a really
good father figure for my kids as well too and that's what I want the audience to know not just
for my music and my book and things like that it's all about how do he become the man that he is
right now like what strategies I happen to him and how can he preach this to other brothers and
sisters not just brothers and sisters just with color skin we all are brothers and sisters so
we all need to find a way to help each other out so we all can branch together be a whole tree
again that we got once that's it I love that I love that that is phenomenal so let me ask you when
you say you had to come through different challenges and I totally understand about coming up
through different challenges so what are some of the things you can share with the listening
audience about things you had to overcome yeah I had to overcome a hard divorce and me my ex-wife
we didn't get along we got into some issues some words got exchanged and of course I got in
the trouble for it and during that time I couldn't see my kids for a couple months and you know
that they really broke me down big time and when I broke me down that took me to a really dark state
and then after that you know what some challenges for some guys after church that could help me out
and to get my focus back and I remember this guy named Dan he told me the number one thing is
you need to have God in your life he said if God did not it in your life you're not going to be
able to do the things that you're going to have planned with that seed inside you and so when I
voted myself for the church got myself into therapy counseling got my kids into church we got
baptized into into the church now I do man group group um help with dealing with the same issues
that I'm dealing with and even I started a TikTok community with that supported dads and do
supporting do's as well okay that's phenomenal you know and we need that we need African-American
mirror strong African-American men to be an example to be a mentor to be a leader to other young
brothers we really do so that's um yeah that's something that's needed because listen I see it
this way you are the root to somebody else's tree yeah so it's like you're a palm tree you've got
your your roots are down in a soil you know a palm tree is a very strong tree uh yeah a very
strong tree you have a lot of strength and then you have the young brothers that need to lean on
you and so if your your roots are down in the soil and you're planning to get a great foundation
other young brothers can lean on you you can give support to other young brothers that need to
maybe come to you and talk sometimes people don't have somebody to talk to and I think that's
big a thing being able to have somebody to talk to I agree I everybody needs somebody to talk to
you know that's just human instinct that's what how we connect with each other is conversation
you know me and you we don't know each other from Adam and Eve we we laughing and we talking
having a conversation and that's how friendship come around understanding each other what gaps
do that other person have that that person could help that person out with that's right that's it
you know a lot of times um people will see something in you or they feel comfortable around you
where they can open up you know you know and that's the starting point where somebody can open up
where somebody to stay to be I feel so comfortable around you I don't know why I'm sharing this
with you know I've had that with clients in the past they'll say I feel like I want to share
something with you and they'll just begin to start talking so I you know they'll say I feel
comfortable with you and they'll open up and share but it's God it's not us it's it's the Lord it's
him up above uh that other people will you know confiding us and and sharing and talked us and we'll
keep it in confidence of course and we'll just help that person help that individual the way
we'll share wisdom because you know we got to share wisdom with that person and they'll
get comfort and they'll feel uplifted we want to be able to uplift others yeah I agree with you 100%
off of that uplift and other people um absolutely so I want to shift gears just a little bit
I am really excited about your book and I want you to tell the listing audience about your book the
book that you have oh yeah that's a crazy story the book pretty much is about my kids I have
three hilarious kids I have Arthur C. Putnam the third he's 17 I have Gabriel K. Putnam
he's 15 and I have Trinity I putnam she's 12 so we drove all the way to Lake Mill I love driving
all over on Wisconsin just to see the different trees and waters and stuff like that just to stay
busy so we saw this a bad and house and then when you look at the book you see this little girl
pointing at the house just the same way how you see in the book that's my daughter Trinity she's
pointing at the house and she telling Gabriel out there when you guys go in there get it see Gabriel
and during your looking at each other all right getting in there they training her other I look
looking over because I'm taking a picture he said dad you going in there I say you know most
definitely not going in that house and so I just decided to just draw a book I mean I draw a book
write a book about this just make up some type of fairy tale and whatnot and just put my kids
into the book because I remember when I was in college in Minnesota I met Les Brown and Les Brown
said in one of his motivation speaking make sure you're always the character in every scene of
your journey and then in the hero's well too and then so I decided just to put myself in my kids
in the book and then put a little bit of magic spells in there for kids for Halloween candy or
that other stuff and then in the book I talk about father figures as well too that I was the father
I had to protect my kids I had to protect my turf and whatnot even though I know it's going to hurt
me I know it's going to be painful but I cannot show my kids that pain hurts me because they look
at me like I'm a superhero okay and so the name of your book is it the Queen of Halloween is that
correct yes card the Queen of Halloween the untold stories of Willow Creek wonderful and is it available
on Amazon yes it's available on Amazon right now okay that's awesome so now is this your first book
or is it one of many books this is my first book that I published and I have 17 more books that
I'm right around the moment right now whoa you have 17 books you're writing right now yep
half of these yeah half of the stories are old you know I'd be walking around something pop
in my head poop I'm typing it down you know it's like sometimes I got two different personalities I
want to write a nice romantic book and then I want to go to a type of action book so my mind is
just racing with a lot of things okay so do you find some writers they say well for me they say
the story tells itself do you have that experience where the characters speak to you or the story
writes itself it's unsafe the character speaks to me okay yeah it's cool I understand it yeah yeah
because sometimes when I get that character in my head and then when I go to sleep I dream about it
then I wake up next year I know I'm on a computer for like three to four hours is going crazy
typing talking to myself standing up acting the scene seeing how this going to look and what not
you know go to different city blocks try to make sure I be so stealth into my book that
it's good it's good enough that it would shock me when I read
hmm oh wow that's that's phenomenal you know I loved the way you said you have three hilarious kids
I love that they it seemed like they keep you keep you going their personalities three different
personalities yeah me and my kids we are really close you know they like I call them my soldiers
it's a slow guy his name is Joey Lopez he said a curse word but I'm not going to say it
but Joey Lopez said in one of his little speech on Joe Rogan he said you don't need these three
all you need is three bad mother efforts to sit up here you could take over the world
world so pretty much no kids right there though my three bad bad ones right there and then um
they just my soldiers everywhere I go they with me we have good times we do bond fires we go to water
parks you know it's just I love being a dad I love watching my kids grow up
this wonderful now they call my attention when you said um you guys do bond fires I can imagine
that being a lot of fun yeah bond fires we have laser attack fights everything everything you can think
of I do it in my house just to make sure that these kids can always remember you know what my
dad was always there my dad always there's something for us my dad is always busy working thinking
about the future for us so he don't want us to be suffering off of money and things like that so
always keep my eyes on the price on things just not for me it's for my kids for my future and for
my legacy okay yeah I know exactly what you mean by that you know we have to have a legacy for you
know a family you know well I don't have children but I have my nieces and my nephews as far as
leaving a legacy for them but they're doing very very well now but um I want to ask you this
now your kids so what what are their interests I don't know why I'm asking this but what are their
interests or hobbies or what do they see themselves doing in the future yes so Arthur the third
he sent a firefighting so when he was 15 years old I told him when I was growing up my dad he
really he didn't I had to my dad and my mom they was together but my dad wasn't that affectionate
dad and so I always I said to myself when I have kids I'm going to make sure I'm engaging with them
so we have a tighter bond when we get older and I asked my son anything that you want to do when
you grow up because I totally remember you say you want to be a fireman when he was little I
said is that true he said yeah at the age 15 I went to one to the fire cadets and I said like hey
do you have any like job roll calls that he could do answer phones do booking and stuff he said yeah
we got a pro-carrying call on fire cadets and whatnot for high schoolers and so I signed them up
since 15 to 17 now he want to be an EMT so you know that's um that's big time to me because I took
the time out of my day to make sure that he's has a future now his little brother Gabriel is
following him now Gabriel is a fire cadet so now Gabriel want to be a firefighter so pretty much
their team in update they help each other and work it together so Trinity Trinity wanted um she's
kind of following my footsteps right now she want to be a track and feel runner because I was at
the sports and um so she's training for track and feel and um Trinity likes to sing so she's learning
how to sing I'm helping her to um pick her octaves on a piano to work on her singing octaves and
whatnot and she want to do gymnastics so Trinity's like the busy body she's the one she want to stay
busy want to do sports athletic things to keep herself going okay that's phenomenal I'm loving it
I love that that is congratulations I mean you're raising three bright you know productive citizens
productive citizens that that's fantastic now I do want to shift gears a little bit because I
want to get into the music as well now when did you first get interested in music when did you
start saying that you but you know want to be saying or get into playing different instruments
yeah I got into music I think I was like six or seven my mother found them a piano teacher
first I started learning a piano and then I got really good up on the piano and things like that
and then after that I went to the school of the arts I started playing the auto saxophone
then after the auto I started playing the trumpet that was doing the drums that was doing the
bass guitar to the lead guitar and then you know I was dipping the dabbing and everything so I wanted
to keep my mind in different on various and then so that's how music came around
got into like hip hop dancing to ballet to jazz tap dancing so the music pretty much helped me
with my anger when I was younger because I used to get bullied a lot they said I had a learning
disability on some things and then when I used to get upset I used to always go down into the
musical choir room and play on the piano and then if I had room to play on the piano I used to
go into the dance classes and I get my tap dance shoes and I just started dancing on my anger
away after that okay okay wow so you've got a lot you have a plethora of talent you dance you do
music write stories that does phenomenal it is very impressive and I do want to talk about your
track your song so sexual now how did that come into fruition how did that come into being
came off of a dream okay it came off of a weird dream and then um so so the whole
album is called confession just talking about how the world is you know everything is sexual
everything is about sex you know you see it on the TV you see it out here on the streets and
things like that and so um a guy myself met a girl in a bar although it just didn't happen again
it's it's a dream so met a girl at the bar and whatnot and then they have sex that night
and then he picked her up again don't know nothing about this girl don't know her name or anything
like that and then she was driving around he was like so horny ready to get with her
and then she wanted to have sex in the car but he didn't want to have sex in the car because
his neighbors was going to see it and then she just ran around ahead and started doing it and he said
hey I'm just going to let it go and at the end of the song she shot him at the end of the song she
shot him she shot him it's a whole it's a story it's a whole story to it I like to give people
little dabs and pieces of it okay yeah that that was surprising I didn't see that coming
see that coming but I do want to make a point you know when he was talking about everything in the
world it's so um sexual and that's true everything in the world yeah it's it's even more so now when
I'm on Facebook I'm like what is going on you know when I go on Facebook you know women
is a guy they taught taught everywhere and I'm like what in the world you know and I see people
in these outfits that I didn't see I didn't see like five years ago I'm like you got all this scan and
matter of fact um I think it was just yesterday somebody has something posted on Facebook it was a
picture and when you look at the picture it's really a snake but did you see that yes I did with
the mouth oh yeah yeah yeah yeah I was just looking like oh my god that's the oh my god
the people who the people who posting this are the main people to party sit right next to us in
church you know it's true yeah yeah and one time I saw it was another picture and I said like
when I first look you know it kept you when you when you first look it's like wait a minute
am I really seeing this or was this like created you know it looks like skin like the person
yeah no clothes on yeah you know I mean just wow it's just everything it's crazy it's getting
it it's getting crazy out there now it is it is really crazy up on TikTok to sometimes I don't see
it too much on TikTok changed my um my TikTok profile but that means all kind of stuff and I'm
gonna tell you this I was on TikTok and I'm gonna play your song the name of the song everybody
is so sexual I'm gonna play in just one moment I find it amazing how people are out here doing
pretty much something everything and I was surprised this was maybe last year I was on TikTok
and people were asking for recipes and remedies to get what they want they wanted spails they
wanted incantations this lady was like practicing witchcraft and she says what what do you guys want
you want a love post here you want this and that and they it was just there you know I said
this this is unreal I'm thinking this this is unreal but yeah right in open form on TikTok I was
like you got to be kidding that's crazy it was very crazy so listen guys the name of this song once
again it's so sexual and you can find it all across the neck on different streaming places like
Spotify iTunes you can find it anywhere and I want you guys take a listen it is fun nominal it is
so sexual take a look
baby let me pick you up at night so we can hang out
I just want to get you until the break of dawn you're the only one I need baby baby
no other man can give you what I'm gonna show you promise baby I'll never make you lonely
baby I just want to say I need you girl I'm so sexual for you girl you just don't know what I want to do to you baby
I'll give you the best of your life
baby you came outside
looking damn lovely I can angel falling from the sky baby you look so good so can wear my lady I love how
the sunshine on you my crystal bag walkin's also relatively torn oh yeah you stepped inside my
car smell of fruity and lovely that it's in me my eyes roll back my lady driving fast to my
house excited and wanted and we made it to my oh baby as I parked my car you hopped on me kissing me
god you kissing me I said baby wait we can't do this in my car she said why does the drop top
we still outside she said so I want them to see this I want them to witness I said witness what she started
grinding on me she said I want you to witness what I'm gonna do to you ask what are you gonna do to me
she started moving calling my name screaming yes I saw my name was looking up the window shocked that
was going on I didn't care I knew I wouldn't get this ever again call my name I go back and I grabbed her
here now while I lay her she said baby I said yes I watched her hang go down her back she said I'm
gonna say you're gonna what she said I'm gonna ask what you about to do she drew her hair back in me I saw
gonna go big I saw that miss for my
oh man that is so beautiful
I like that I like that that is so sexual I love that
oh man that end that ending still gets me right there okay so let me ask you I do have
acts for a listing audience you wrote and produced the track who's saying are you singing
don't that's Marcus Jackson he's on the guy that I know I'll hear in Midwestern in Milwaukee with
Skyser okay all right I mean it is just it reminds me of I can I complain about this all the time
that we that we don't have music the way that we used to and when I heard you're yeah when I
heard your your song so sexual and I heard um was it kill yeah the kill uh brain are you talking
about um yeah bringing back the 90s music yeah I complain about it all the time that we really
don't have good and we don't we really don't have good music but when when I heard your uh your track
your music and I was like yeah this is what I'm talking about you know should we need that we do always
long for the music from the 80s the 90s when you really had groups that was playing real instruments
and AI I got a love hate relationship with AI is good something not so good right yeah so this song
is really fantastic it really is yeah just took a while to make it because I'm really hard on
myself when I write and when I make the beats and everything else like that so she's been a real
challenge making music so still a little bit rusty on some things though but so I'm getting there
I'm getting somewhere hey you how I'm loving it this song is fantastic and I really like what you're
doing with your book I think that's phenomenal thank you you're more than welcome you're welcome and
so what's coming up next for you when it comes to music so right now I'm doing the gospel music
in the game we're gonna be doing one more album and after that then we're gonna be splitting up
had a little fall a little small fallout and whatnot then so we decided we're gonna make one more
album and then after that we're gonna piece ourselves off from each other and everything else like that
okay all right so let me ask you working individuals find you online as far as um social media
or working a download to music yeah they could download my music on Apple music so Apple the
group name is Ryzen RYZN you can see us on Spotify as well too iTunes
YouTube and YouTube music and I am on Instagram and I am on TikTok as well too my name is
Arthur C. Putnam Jr. on TikTok you know what's so funny about your name when I saw Putnam it
reminded me of was it Grant Putnam it was one of the um the soap operas from years ago I don't
know if you've been heard of that character I think it was yeah Grant Putnam that was all my children
I was like I haven't seen that name and I don't know when it just reminded me of a character
one of the soap operas alright you would know that yeah yeah yeah and so I was gonna ask you um
do you plan to do any writing as far as um your children's book like a series where you have
where it picks up like you might have this volume and then you have the next volume something like
yeah I have um part two coming out this one gonna be um bigger in a longer book so I'm gonna
make sure it be um a nice novel to what not so I'm working on that currently because I'm doing
two books at the same time so just being really crunching down on the books but yeah it's a series
that's coming coming in this one um in this book in this book I would say I'm gonna have on Peter
Pan and Captain Hook on here so it's gonna be a lot of twist stories of what not and then it's
gonna keep everybody and the kids on the toes as well I love that you know you got my attention when
you mentioned um Les Brown he was the first motivational speaker I ever saw and this was this was
when he um kind of around when he first started doing public speaking uh he he was at a church
and the only way I got because I had never heard of him this was the eons ago then the way that I
got to see him was because someone I worked with said I'm gonna see Les Brown young lady she said
I'm gonna see Les Brown you want to come with me and I said oh you know and she said let's
brown girl you don't know who Les Brown is I say no I don't and so I went with her she picked me up
it was at this low church way way on the south side and I mean that place was packed it was packed
there were so many people in there and I thoroughly enjoyed the port of course and I've seen him
two other times since then um another place was a nightclub another place was um third place I saw
him in another place oh I'm here on the south side again in a particular place but yeah they picked my
interest because I think he's just fantastic and phenomenal yeah I love his back stories off uh
so yeah I've been through so that's why pretty much I kind of connect real good listening to him
yeah at one point he even had a um some type of program where if you wanted to be a public speaker
or he would train you you would work with him I don't know if he still does it but he still does
that I've been singing on on on Facebook a lot that you could sign up and everything oh okay
that's fantastic so any upcoming news that you want to share with listening audience what about
performances do you have live performances work at anyone catch you if you're performing anywhere
I'm gonna be starting a live performance with jazz because I do I do a lot of jazz music because I
play the league guitar I'm trying to throw out some of my things at some jazz clubs and what not
small bars but if I do have something I'll make sure I'll post it on TikTok and um Instagram so
everybody could follow and see me for the recordings and everything okay I'm gonna have to follow
you on TikTok so I can keep up with what's going on yeah yeah TikTok is uh it's a nice little
platform uh I like when I started at that supporting that stuff we got a lot of dads that are
are during the movement so if any of the dads out there that are going through any issues come on
TikTok do the dad supporting dads and the dude supporting dudes we do a lot of support help
help fathers out that are going through struggles depression and everything else like that because
us men we do go through depression it's okay to talk about it because we all need somebody to talk to
that's for sure you know um you're right when you say that and we need I think that needs to be
talked about more and all the a wider platform you know my brother which I was sure I mean
it's showing you his headstone that's on my arm uh I'm just going to touch on this a little bit
he went through I want to say he was never diagnosed with depression you know ideas you know how
men are they keep stuff ball of keeps inside and so um he was the older he was the older our older
brother and but he was a brother and a dad all at at one you know all in one and so we kept
things bottled up I think if things would have been different from him if he would have somebody
to talk to and that was something that was something he never had he never had that
yep yeah never yeah go ahead just you know um not an old saying saying like man should not be
emotional man shouldn't cry we supposed to be the macho it's like it's it's all right to cry
sometimes it's all right to to vent because you need to let all that pressure out because I've been
there it's it's not fun it's not a fun game because you start thinking the wrong things and you
start doing the wrong things as well that could harm yourself or harm somebody else you know
now my younger brother he's the opposite oh lord he's a he's emotional he'll cry in a minute he's
emotional and me being the girl I'm like the strong one and yeah yeah I want you but you know
Jay probably looking like what you're crying about
and me it's like is this a tear you know I don't like to cry yeah I don't like to cry
yeah so this I mean it's been really great having this conversation with you I really
thank you you're welcome I really appreciate you taking time out to come on the platform
and share your mini gifts and talents it's been it's been on site I appreciate it
I appreciate you having me as well you're more than welcome so listen guys we're going to roll
on out with so sexually pretty much out of time but I'm going to play this on one more time
because it's some good stuff
baby let me pick you up at night so we can hang out
I just want to get you until the break of dawn you're the only one I need baby baby
know what the man can give you what I'm going to show you I promise baby I'll never make you lonely
baby I just want to say I need you girl I'm so sexual for you girl you just don't know
what I want to do to you baby I'll give you the best of your life
I'm so sexual
I'm so sexual
I'm so sexual
I am so sexual
I am so sexual
baby you came outside looking damn lovely I can name you falling from the sky
baby you look so good so can we wait my lady I love how the sun shines on you
my crystal bag walking's also relatively tourney oh yeah you stepped inside my cross
melody and lovely better than sin made my eyes roll back my lady driving fast to my house
excited and more than we made it to my oh baby as I park my car you hopped on me kissing me
God you kissing me I said baby wait we can't do this in my car she said why there's a drop top
we still outside she said so I want them to see this I want them to witness I said witness what
she started trying to know me she said I want you to witness what I'm gonna do to you
ask what are you gonna do to me she started moving calling my name screaming yes
I saw my name was looking up the window shock that was going on I didn't care
I knew I wouldn't get this ever again call my name I'm so glad I grabbed her here I got what I landed
she said baby I said yes I watched her hang go down her back she said I'm gonna say you're gonna
what she said I'm gonna ask what you're about to do she drew a handbag in me I saw a good go big
I saw darkness for my
all right all right we are pretty much out of time we got to get on up out of here and listen
it is always peace love and
