This week's action has come to a close, so now it's time for the debate to begin. Made by supporters from around the Bedfred Super League for their fellow supporters. It is now time for the Final Hooter Podcast. We hope you enjoyed this show. Good morning and welcome to the Final Hooter Podcast here with the team top members of Super League Raw. My name is Craig Neymill, I host as we review Round 26, which established the Playoff Final Playoff position, should I say. And we obviously had the big game for which could possibly decide the league lead is shield. And to join us to discuss this round's action, we have as always our Super Saiyan in Vostag. Vostag, good morning. Good morning, Craig. Good morning, Chaps. I'm a happy boy today. I'll tell you why just before we start it all. Fantastic. And we have our wonderful, well, in Oli. Good morning, Oli. How are you? That great. You all right?
Good. Thank you very much. And joining us this week, we have our Classy Casse fan in Simmer. Simmer, good morning. Morning, Craig. Morning, everybody. And we have our Brasmball in John. Good morning, John. How are you? Yeah, good. Thanks, good morning, Craig. Good morning, everybody. And making his Final Hooter debu here, we have representing the lead's rhinos. It's Paul. Good morning, Paul. Welcome to the Final Hooter. Good morning, Craig. Good morning, everyone. Brilliant. Vosnet, why are you in such a good mood before we get into these games? It's just the lovely test that you sent last night, Craig. You're also saying you wanted to pass on your big thanks to Saints for a softening up lead last week, so you could beat them, you know, sort of pass it on to the club. Well, you did do as a favour. That's too favourous this year's sense of done. You're up to feeling very well now. If you're feeling a bit weak at the knees. But we will start with that game there straight away. We're going to go to Heading Leaf, where 19,698 fans packed in to watch the top of the
tableclash between the lead's rhinos and the Wigan warriors. Wigan running out 40 points to eight winners in probably one of the best performances I've seen Wigan set in the sense the challenge cup. Paul, obviously your rhinos struggled under Wigan and basically better than French. It was shown a bit of magic to others for the Wigan warriors. We kept Conn Aquayet and that's just something that seems really struggle to do without the season surfer. Yeah, I mean, it was noticeable. There were three sometimes four people on him every time he was looking to kick or make a play. I think that was obviously a game plan right from the start and it was successful. Yeah, Jett Conn Aquayet's top triassister, the top attacking kicker is the top kicker in general plays. He's been phenomenal with his bow and you've really got to put him under pressure to stop it because he can kick out a danger and Jett Conn Aquayet is absolutely fantastic in that respect.
I'm one taking nothing away from him in that respect. Obviously, Wigan just came out where with an absolute mission started very well. Even from a lead span, Austin Daniels for Wigan on the wing, obviously replacing for Wardle, who was injured, so we had a bit of shuffle around. But what a game he had, certainly scarring a tri and setting up where they want to carry him. Yeah, I think he's 19 years old. I was hoping for a little bit more nerves when he was in front of that South Stand, but he didn't show any of it. It was probably obvious in the first few minutes I said to the people I was watching it with that. We were losing the rock. Leads lost the rock very, very early on in the first sort of five, ten minutes. As soon as we lost that rock, it turned into field position very, very quickly. I think what we've done really, what leads have done really well all year is to at least compete with sides in terms of the pack and try and win some right to play, but we just didn't do that. I think Bevan very quickly realised that, and almost every time that the defence was compressed,
and it was compressed a lot in the first ten, fifteen minutes he was looking to do what he does best, which is hit the line, and then do that sort of lateral run across the side, and then whether it's a cutout pass or whether it's just creating holes, he did it so well, and he did it on the pack was winning. Yeah, definitely. Again, the front line of Wiggand just came up and took it to him obviously, only partying, so he got none of the match on sky, which left a few of us scratching our idea. You did have a good game at all, and when you had Austin Daniels, you had Adam Kerron, Skoran, Hattrick, Ben Fredge, and Harris missed kicking as well. This was one of the games that was key points to watch, obviously, was Conor and Harry Smith, and how they both cut under the pressure, certainly under the watchful gaze of a packed out headingly. I mean, there was a lot of talk of Jake, Jake not being able to bring it in the big games. I'll be honest with you, I wasn't really a believer in that. It's difficult to know whether it was his attitude, or whether it was just a different game when you've got Wiggand coming up.
When you've got Wiggand players showing them about their effort, that level of fitness, that level of stickability and tackles, that's a lot harder thing than doing it against other defenses. There was a little bit of noise from people I knew at the stadium saying, when Jake was practicing 40-20s, he knows a lot of those at the side when you were watching. He wasn't. So, whether that's an indication, Jake, perhaps mentally was struggling a little bit with those. He doesn't come across that way. It's difficult to know, but it was noticeable that way they were targeting from other doors. Yeah, definitely. And obviously, when you get put on the back foot, you're under more pressure out to get there. Wiggand scored the early tryoff from Adam Kerron. I got two early tries, didn't it, before? Handly scored for yourselves. Yeah, but that was Jake Connall at the kick for Handler to score. Yeah, and at that stage, it was getting towards half time, but we're thinking, maybe it may have become more of a contest. I think in terms of the statistics at half time, certainly once we took the penalty, the score wasn't a blowout. The possession stats had kind of evened out after being very skewed towards Wiggand at
the start. It was looking reasonably hopeful, but a bit like you said, with Harry Smith, although Bevin caught a lot of the highlight reel with his, as I say, with hitting the line and though, it's fantastic, that's all one's. It just gave Wiggand the numbers and that right-age so many times. Harry Smith sort of came into his own with his kicking and the one where he kicked him behind for Bevin himself, I think it was. That was, that was a summed it all up for me really in terms of everyone. Yeah, defensively, I think if leads have been there now, they'd probably still be trying to hit against that wall and wouldn't be scoring. Whether it was Locky Miller going off early and moving Hankinson to fullback and Zuck Lloyd into second row, I don't know. I think any team will always find it tricky for a short while when they lose one of their key players and Locky Miller is even more important player than a normal football would be for any team. But it did seem like they palicked it. It did seem, especially in defence, that there was very little connectivity in defence
once Locky went off. And I wouldn't say Locky was necessarily someone who's, this is best part of his game, his defence, but it was noticeable the line was stretched. I think Hankinson, you know, he ran across to try and do cover tackles, but he was caught out of position a few times. Yeah, I think it was very unfortunate for the game and certainly for leads that did happen. Yeah, and obviously Wiggand have got the speedsters to create that goal, to exploit these gaps, like I said, but Bevin, watching the highlights back again, you see the kick from his tribe that Bevin scored the kick. There's that moment where Bevin just didn't know what was happening, sorry, it was going to go, right, I'll go for it. And then he's got that speed, and then he got a Zackeck as well, it's, you know, he's lightning fast as well. So yeah, he can go and exploit that. Volstad, obviously, you're being a Saint Van, you'd have been hoping for a lead's win, I imagine, in this game. But tell me, what do you think about that performance from Wiggand? This is now 14 games on Bevin for the Warriors.
Last game, obviously, was just before the challenge cup. I do don't play, but we're into it. Absolutely sensational. And, you know, we're all of our paddings and got a player that, or Man of the Match. It could have been about six, seven players there. I mean, I thought Luke Thompson had a great game. He was just, just seems to be so strong. Oh, Neil was absolutely phenomenal. He just seems to have a Zanzel over the ball, you know, for large parts of that game. As you say, I personally, young Daniels, you know, I'll go to Z, you know, to put on such a performance like that at a full ground, and, you know, obviously, he'll be getting jerks from the sides and whatever. He was just so strong, you know, Marshall, I don't know the decision game. Didn't he? He got quite a few penalties against him once again, didn't he? You know, he has to do that, doesn't he? He beats a man, duck down, and next minute, it's an eye tackle. But I just thought he would absolutely bring you.
French was just absolutely unplayable. Smith, you know, I'm like, with Smith, Beige's, I love his kickin' and it is, is, is Marshall and I on the pitch. He's just so clever. He's a man that wins your games, you know, and I was, I felt, I felt really sorry for Leeds, to be honest with you, because soon as Miller went up and he grabbed up ball, and he knew, stayed away, didn't he? And then it took Sky, another 20 minutes to tell us that it was an amstring, that probably everyone knew, it was an amstring, so well done, Sky, fingered on a pulse, well done. I know what Paul said about Jay Conner. He wasn't, his normal self, but he wasn't allowed to be, was he? He wasn't allowed to play, so, you know, that's unfortunate, but I thought that young lad Lloyd was absolutely brilliant, and it was only a field last it's, he'll have to stop them going through and scoring, who can Smith
on the early well again, once again, Hall Lloyd, I think he'd run really hard. The surprise for me was for two weeks, on the bounce now, Kraft hasn't been prominent in the game like he has been for all season, because he's been absolutely brilliant. I just thought he was very, very quiet once again. I just think what, as Paul alluded to the, the upset of losing your full back, so early on, and it does this, this routine team, and your plans go straight out the wind, and then you've got to try and adjust that. So, you know, you've got to give Wigging all applaud, it's made it absolutely phenomenal. 14 on the bounce now, isn't it? You know, when, I wonder where all these people were, that was shouting for him, you know, after a three game, Losh wasn't it, where on the bounce, you know, all these people, Matty Pete's house, where are they now? I bet you'd all go, no, we'll be there, you know, cheering them on, for the last game, and you know, we'll, we'll be there and all stuff, if we get there, just a chocolate frog
zandy. Definitely, there are probably all now, chaining Matty Pete's Bami army every time we walked past the, to go in and have his interview with the sky, sky team. Obviously, Oli, Croft is coming to you next season. Keeping Jett Conner quiet, keep time to keep Brody Cough quiet, but do you think he's going to fit quite a nice thing, because it'd be parent-primation there when he, how do you think that parent is going to wait next season? I've been there two different types of player mate, I mean, you've seen from there when I knew that you can basically make breaks and do steps and stuff, which you don't really see from Jett Conner's been more control than any so. I think it's one of them games, isn't it? I mean, the only thing I would say is that's two games now where Leigh and, and we can have done leet. So, you know, the only thing I was thinking when I was watching it was when Barry met Dylan and was saying, oh, this is down to be the ground final or whatever. I wouldn't be too sure, Barry, because I think anyone in that sit-scone get to the final this year, do you know what I mean? So, you know, even K.R.
So yeah, I think Millie Wett going off was a massive loss for Leigh. Do you know what I mean? They just didn't seem the same team and they didn't really put any pressure on me, and I don't think, you know, when the, when the, when the, um, handle is cool, you thought, oh, they're going to come back into this and then after the first half, it's a bit disappointing really, because you thought it'd be closer, it would be like nipping talk. And it was just, it was just a wigan batting franchise, weren't it? As much as I hate to admit it. And we were talking before, weren't we, in terms of what, what are players and stuff. So yeah, I mean, really craft. Um, I think plays well if, if the other half plays well, they're going forward and they don't think Leigh's been forward enough. You know, there wasn't any sustained pressure was there on the wigan line. Um, but maybe it's a kick up the proverbial form, do you know what I mean? Um, before the, for the playoff start and the thing which I would say is the playoff
games is completely different, aren't they? You know, um, we've seen in the past, um, teams losing them type of games, like Leigh's did against Castleford and he came on one the gate at the final in the end. So I wouldn't be too disartened, um, you know, it's wiggins possibly to lose, but, um, who's to say he's going to be there with them? Um, don't know mate, but, um, Brody Cough scored 26 tries or whatever it is. Not a bad player mate. I won't mind having him in my team next year. So, um, and you could actually say that you and Irwin's going to possibly be as good as him in the future from what he's done this year. And all them people who said that he didn't go off injured. Why is he not backing our team for? So, um, looking forward to him coming back, but yeah, I just think, you know, it's one of them games you've lost the game. It's not the whole, you know, it's not the end of the world. They can come back leads. You know what I mean? They can rest people maybe for that week or whatever, because, you know, or whatever, um, or change the team and a little bit and hopefully, hopefully,
Miller's back because I thought that was the most disappointing thing really, because he's one of the best players, and you know, um, but other teams lose players and they don't, you know, go down and the heaps, so I suppose it's, it's one of them. I'd, I'd, I'd still back them to get to the final, but I think it's depends who they play in the, in the semis, you know. Yeah, definitely. And similar probably final part on this one, obviously, one of our members, Alex Sharp, he mentioned this in the group chat. A defeat like that at home, in front of the crowd and everything else. How can that affect a team psychologically going forward? So for leads, this is now how do you think they pick themselves up for next week? Well, a whole of C second half, which will come on soon. Um, a whole of this again, a whole of C can perform when, when they want to. Uh, good evening. I can confirm that the internet in West Yorkshire is working. Right. I think when it, when it in terms of leads, it could affect them psychologically.
However, they're a professional outfit, and I'm pretty sure that Jamie Langley, will be beacing them in training, that they're probably having a video prep straight away. Um, they'll be backing trenches and they'll go again this week, ready for playoffs. Um, it's not, it's not, it's no secret. Everybody mentioned about Jake Conner going missing in big games. He did go a little bit missing, but like I've already said, Wigan were so dominant. Um, the old, um, the old leads, it will Wigan's night. Leads were, um, off it. Um, the, the team's got a pointing second half at home, and that's not leads like at all. So you just got to, uh, move on and, uh, move forward. Yeah, definitely, um, obviously for the Wigan Warriors, they'll probably hoping now to do more double headers with the ladies teams, because pretty much every time this season, they've done that, they've had absolute dominant performance.
Um, so for any leads fans that just really want that to, to be really happy about yesterday, it was 20 points to 90 aggregate between the men's and the women's teams versus lead dry nose. So that was an absolute route of a dish. Uh, yeah. Um, so I can make the grand final as well. You know, double header for Wigan. I really appreciate that, I refer. So yeah, final score there. Wigan, Moria's 40 lead dry nose eight, um, under the spotlight as well. Massive game. Um, now Wigan have got one hand on the shield, which is quite ironic from what Sky was saying four weeks ago, basically gift wrapping it to to lead. Moving on to the next game, then Wakefield took on the Warrington Wolves and came on out 25 points to 18 winners, coming from a 14, six half time deficit. Ollie, Warrington, two early penalties took the opportunity to go for the two. Now I can understand the first one, settle the nerves a bit, the second one. You had the momentum, you had everything going for you and then think, why'd you go for the two? I don't know, I just thought most of the game I thought we didn't make enough
ground when we had the ball. Um, so we're missing, I think we are missing our forwards at the moment. And that's not excuse to think, you know, if you look at the first half, even though we were like eight points in front of half time, it just thought we needed to score another try. We needed to be a bit more composed. And you know, score another try. Um, but the staff just there forwards made too much ground and they offloaded the ball a lot in that game and we just didn't basically control them enough. Um, you know, there's a lot of people on social media having to go at Leon A's, but Leon A's basically made the, the, the trifix up a while. You know, I don't think you can put it on them. And there was just moments in the game I think we made a count of them, because I was there. Um, you made the break in the first half when is it Johnstone basically held him up? And if we'd scored then, um, as well as obviously the tries, which we scored from Ashton and, and, and just, um, just him.
Um, I think we probably were the one, but yeah, I just think what Wakefield didn't need it to win the game more than us. And that's not me saying that we threw it or whatever, I just think it deserved to win. You know, um, we just didn't, we just didn't do enough. I don't think, um, you know, but it's not the end of the world for us. You know, I don't think we'll play our full team against the lose because I think we need a break. Um, and sorry, I'm sorry about that. I think they might win that, potentially might win that game to be in a new way. We play, um, and it's all for the playoffs of Ross. I think, and seeing if we can beat potentially if it's Kat Karen's in the first game. So yeah, just as I said, a big shout out for Charlie is it MacKarler who's played, um, made his debut, put a massive hit on Fartilly. Um, everyone had a good, um, good show on that one because, um, you know, I think he, you know, he's only a kid. He's played reserve. So he's probably been, I think, one of our best reserve players this year. Um, and, um, yeah, I mean, obviously disappointed to lose going all that way to see him lose,
but, um, to speak, it was a really good game. It was nipping top, weren't it? It was, you know, um, both teams were in it. Um, but it's just don't think we did enough to basically in a second half and think Sam, Sam Burgess said that in the second half. He leads, he's coming back as a massive plus for us. Obviously that was his first game back for a while. Um, I think we need a win and we need a couple of people back on our bench to do something in the playoffs personally. Um, but, you know, we'll just have to wait and see. Um, I'll take third if we get a third. Yeah, you said obviously about, um, dealing with the forwards and for most, for the lot of the first half, you was controlling it, but then of course, Wakefield do what Wakefield do and that's good. Oh, to bring on Hamlin, you well, he will just bring on, uh, Firetilly and they are such a big difference for Wakefield, uh, to come on. And that's when they started to get them momentum. Um, obviously, John's done his driving. I thought John's done for Wakefield. He had an absolutely cracking game. Um, absolute payload of a try and say that try server, which again came from absolutely nowhere.
But obviously, yeah, you're right. The second half, Wakefield just got that footing into the game with, with Van Gogh and it just seemed to be almost a bit too easy on Warinton's defensive line for Van Gogh to be going over. Yeah, yeah, the massive game, then he's one of the form players in the, for them. There was a point where I was watching it where you could see Firetilly and you get, look, you well, you were, you were, you were a second, that's the second name, they were gassed. And if we kind of stopped them then, we could have probably won. But we just didn't control the tackles and stuff and it was just too quick. Um, but as I said, it's worth them, you know, a lot of people slugged off, and actually, hopefully an AXS were doing a short drop out when it was 18 all, but they come off, you get the ball back, changes the momentum, and so, you know, to lose by seven points, you know, it's worth it. As I said, I think it's more to do with, you know, I said to someone who was watching it, I'd rather lose this game, lose the first playoff game.
So I'm not here to say that we're going to win that, but we just need to get more people fit and and do our best in that first playoff game because that's, that's going to decide our season, not that lost, Stuart Mc, they needed to win that game more than also, I think, you know, and that's off too many with a better team in the second half. You know, the forwards played really well. And like I said, Johnston and, and the other Winger and the Sennis and stuff, they made too many breaks and I thought, it'd take Tumon come on and just sup. Um, he didn't play from the start, that he did really well when he came on. So the opposite, and the obviously targeted the wing where Hopper out he was, was that because that's our weak side. So I think we really need Josh, um, fearless on that wing personally. You know, we're missing him on that wing. He just gives us a bit more cover, but I thought it was a really good game. It was worth going. So, John Maynard, it was, you know, probably not, it was, but it was probably what I expected for the Winger and Lees game to be honest with you, John Maynard. And, you know, and they're really good, a good day out. We'll go to watch the wire and then, yeah, we lost, but,
you know, it's not the end of the world and we'll see what happens, but, um, hopefully you were no in's back, um, filming's back and let's see what we did, but I said I've been the rest people, that's me personally. Yeah, sometimes the rest can come in just at the right time, can't it? If you've got the opportunity to do it. Um, some obviously are, you know, your nearest and nearest were Wakefield there. You've got to appreciate that they seem to be able to unpick teams when they want to them. I'd have had a bad rough couple of weeks, but then they seem back to a bit more of the usual form south that we've seen most of the season. No, I haven't after appreciated it at all. I'm a cast fan. Um, no, I can respect it, but after appreciate it, there's a difference. Um, no, I respect Wakefield. Um, I respect Al Daryl Powell's got him playing. I think the, the, the utilized the bench very well. Um, I think Holly said it, right, when Truman came off Ben, she gave them an extra, he gave them an extra dimension. Um, I think it were probably classic. It were a game of two afts. I think first aft weren't
undominated. And second aft, the mighty wildcats were better, uh, two teams. Um, so yeah, I think, I think Result were a fair result. Um, but I think also, Holly's probably writing what he's saying about his team that they probably do need a bit of a rest next week. I mean, I looked at stats 40 missed tackles. That's quite a lot on night. Um, so whether Sam Burgess is going to, um, freshen some legs up and put people in and, and give them a rest just before playoffs. Oh, no, but yeah, it was, it was good, it was good to watch. Um, I think that best team one on night, and, um, we move on. Yeah. Um, it was like, say it was very good performance. Uh, past performance on then, uh, Lena, I take the option for a drop girl, very smart player with five minutes to go to see the game out. Yeah, Lena, what a class player he is. I don't know where he's going to go next year, but whoever picked Mason, Lena, I think that would be a smart bit of business.
Um, but yeah, obviously, um, took his drop girl well and obviously put scoreboard to seven, which took it out at grasp. So the, the wire on night. Yeah, Paulie, so I'm doing a really good impression of similar there. Did, did, did all of that carpets on for Lionel after that drop girl? Very good. Very good. Very, very good. Uh, someone else have anything they want to mention about this game before we move on. I did. I probably just mentioned, I think John Stone's that cover tackle he did on with it and Danny Walker. That seemed like a turning point to me because he scored quite soon after, didn't he? And that was a real, you know, there wasn't lot in it until that point. And then obviously the bomb squad coming in with Fatilie and Hamlin Welley. But, um, yeah, I don't know. I, I sort of feel after that game that maybe waking up with the one who. I've got more chance than anyone else of stopping, I stopped in Wigging, but, um, it's just one guy. Yeah. I mean, we have beaten him three times this season. Yeah. I don't want to say that.
But you never know what happens in Spark. And yeah. Um, so we've also beaten St. Ellen's three times, but then good Friday, which we don't talk about. Do we've all stuck? For eight minutes, we do. We don't talk about that. But yeah, final score 25 points to 18 there to Wigfield. A much needed win for for Trinity on that one against against Warren's. And yeah, sometimes it's that defeat that can just give a team a bit of the kick up. I like to appreciate you might need a bit of a rest. Kirsten Point, Holkar, um, a couple of days ago. But before we move on to that team, we'll look at Toulouse vs. whole FC and one absolute tri-fest this game was 30 points to Nilta Toulouse at half time, final score 44-30 in favour of Toulouse. And obviously Skye was talking about one of the big comebacks on this one. Um, Paul, you saw this game. What a whole FC was littered. There was a black and white side of their team from being absolutely shocking to absolutely fantastic from most of that game and to prefer. They spent quite a lot of second half down to 10 minutes down to 12 minutes. Yeah, I wouldn't
want to be too disrespectful to Toulouse. I actually think the first half was more down to Toulouse being good than Hull HC being bad actually. I think the, the, the Kahn and Rouge were absolutely incredible. You know, that, that, we had a little shout before to start the podcast about the impacts on French rugby league when you've got half that pairing like that playing so well and controlling the team so well. Um, Paul Sully, the, the, the tried the, the people seen as a highlight, that's one of the best tries of this season. I saw he, he, he, he made a pretty, well not particularly risky pass, just in his own line and then somehow um, Trapice managed down the wing and he was, you know, scoring it himself and even he, even he couldn't believe it towards the end. He was making a, a kind of a tasty celebration towards the end of that and that really set the tone. I thought they were fantastic and it, it's so good to be seeing those French players doing it as well. We, the big part of why we want to lose and Catalan in the, uh, in the Super League is the strength from the French national team. We know where the World Cup coming on. So yeah, that was really, really great. The first half, they were actually sensational.
And I don't think whole were, they were bad, but I don't think it was bad as some people have been making out online. Um, I kind of felt seizure at a big part to play in there in the kind of comeback in the second half at times. Uh, he, he was rolling into the to lose line almost single handedly and got through obviously a couple of times. Um, and he, he, he carried, he carried all Fc on his back through a lot that second half, but it obviously was too late by then and, um, yeah. So it was, it was a, it was a good enough game in terms of, um, lots of tries. The quality wasn't, wasn't amazing from both sides all the time every time. It was quite nice to see such a great atmosphere at the stadium. Um, I think that I found out later the attendance was, you know, seven and a half thousand, which for them is, is reasonably high, but it seemed to be, it looked better on C.V. And it sounded better. It sounded like there's great atmosphere. And it was good to see the French to lose fans cheering and enjoying that game after. So yeah, there were, there were definitely things to enjoy from that. I think the con was probably my favourite player at the match. I think he,
yeah, he just knicked it over Ruge, but, um, yeah, it was an enjoyable game. Lots of tries. Yeah, definitely, um, obviously C.Z. I did get a simb in and then came back, but I say, for the 30 minutes, certainly second half that he was on the pitch, he was just involved in absolutely everything. And if you're a whole of safe fan, you must be scratching your head saying, where's this C.Z. are being all season because it just performed this absolute magic second half. It's a scar twice and set up others and you're thinking, where have you been? Well, you know, you want to be in a battle at the bottom, if it had been playing like that, certainly if you'd been playing like it for 18 minutes as well. Yeah, he's, he's, he's, he's mercurial, isn't he? He's, he's got it in his game all times. Uh, it's just whether what, what's the key to it? I don't know. I'd like to have seen him going on there by the offer. I mean, that would have been interesting how he would have played in the ball. Arthur, maybe he's a little bit too, too old and too, for, to be moldable in that way. But, um, yeah, he's, he's still a very good player. Yeah, definitely, um, obviously there was two simb in the game. I've seen it was one of their second one was Hilfresh up and ham strike on
to a player. Um, would say looking at C.A. Red card for that one? Yeah, I think so. I mean, the show's open handed, but yeah, I'd like to lock it. It was, it was his second stab as well. And then it got on the part for, uh, leading the shoulder on our cane as well. So, I think Hil might be missing the final game the season, probably on that one. Yeah, Vos, thank you. So that the highlights of this game as well. So we had some great tries as Scott and I said, as Paul Sellers was an absolute phenomenal try. Um, and then Mattin as well for FC, the final try of the game. Well, that was a bit of a cracker at the score because again, if you showed that determination for FC to carry on playing. Yeah, because, because I don't know. Did he actually, like, did he actually slap the ball? Just sort of like flick it up and it goes in his hands, you know, one movement and he was over. I thought he don't really well for his first one as well to be honest with you. I know there was, did he have enough time with press? You don't know what I've been up for. You know, you want to see it's nice don't you in the game. So, you know, I thought it was, it don't really well.
I thought, my first rally because he's also advantage of a better luck didn't you know, take it over as well. So, you know, sometimes you beat your own luck in a game. You had a gone back to the hell thing, you know, you had a voice you'd not say that but we see this in quite a number of games and people don't get a yellow card. So, you know, we need to see consistency and this either it is a yellow card or it's not, you know, a card beat just in one game. It is in another game. It isn't. It's got to be consistently and because to me, I think that's really poor. And you see fellas in the pot and the rangs on, you know, pressing into someone's face and they're on the floor. And for me, that's a grubby pass to the game that I don't, I'm not into that. But I thought, okay, and I did a great game as well for Toulouse and you saw him again, you know, and then it was great to see bot, you know, meeting an appearance wasn't it, you know, because they've missed him for so long. But then again, when you say, you missed him, yeah, in the
respect of what a great player, but I think people have done a good job, you know, filling in for him, you know, they have an, I think it's because he's the name for Toulouse, isn't he? But, you know, and the air sorts of good player. But I think like everyone's saying, you know, with Caesar, you know, he is an enigma, isn't he? He can be absolutely brilliant or he can be absolutely garbage. You know, there's not like 50-50 with him on any side, one or the other. And, you know, I think Dave missed that decision consistently often, you know, what happens next season with him is going to be interesting, isn't he? You know, new coach coming in and the players that he've designed and players that are going to go, I mean, I do think as positive the atmosphere in the ground, you know, you've got that to compare for the resounding scream, and it's the, no idea what
he's showing, he could be showing free baguettes or, you know, free eil or something with your big baseball. You don't know what it seems to be, you know, it's, I guess the crowd with top toes in it, you know, and you want to see it go that atmosphere, that grounds, you know, that gets you going at the game as well. But, yeah, I thought it was definitely a game with Caesar, I thought, Cillus were absolutely phenomenal, very staff, absolutely brilliant. And obviously a change second half, you know, Caesar comes back on after 10 minutes in the same bend, doesn't he? You know, if Dave had every player on the pitch for all of the minutes, you don't know what happens there, because it just puts him under pressure. Yeah, definitely. And he said you mentioned, I'll be actually a bot coming back, but then he only played a short while before he scored his try, it looks like he injured his rib doing that. So I don't know whether it'll be playing next week or not, if he has popped a rib, but then Cillus can't really, they've got nothing left to play for now. So it's not worth risking him, is it for
one last game or playing a mixture if they don't need to? I think it's just the pride of finishing above the difference counter-part, isn't it? You know, that's going to be the big bolster, isn't it? You know, you can dangle that over. Catalan's that, you know, it's our phase season back up and we finished above you. That's the bragging night, isn't it? And you know, that makes your interest in those, isn't it? So hopefully he's fitting off to play, because you want to see the best plays on the pitch. I think it will be good if he did. That's the difference above them, to show his what he've done with, you know, the manager there is, he's done brilliantly, it's the longest save, a manager is me. And you know, I just think you've got to be a bit of a stick to very, very fresh game, didn't you? When he put the microphone on the back of the front, you know, the headset and people will reprimand him. And you know, I think he's done quite well to be honest with you. Did soundstores at home, didn't he? And different things, you know, yeah, I just think they've been a bit of a bonus to be honest with you being in the Super League.
I think they are and I think Cillus regret seemed to watch, they just play with the flatter. Just with excitement, the playing, you know, with the desire and I think just really entertaining to watch. And again, a lot of people getting a bit of a soft spot for Cillus as well, because the only got half they wanted to come into the players and to recruit. And they've just built this team up that's playing for each other and it's a different style of community seems almost. And you know, the probably one of the most complete teams out there really, over then obviously, you're leading your Wiggins that are just playing for each other and it's just really enjoyable to say. And does anyone else have anything else to say about this game? John? Yeah, I just wanted to come in and just say really how well they have done, you know, I would have thought at the start of the season that there were one ten games, it's a massive achievement from the three that have come up, you know, to win ten games, it's huge. And I think they deserve a massive amount of respect. And especially for the coach,
Hugh Ulyss, has just been absolutely fabulous. Yeah, definitely. And yeah, they say that they've been a joy to watch in the Bra, lots of soup playing, I think this year. And I'd like to say, I'll make it continue. So your final score to lose 44, who'll have to say 13 probably one of the best fightbacks we've seen this season to come back from 13 all down, which is not to be understood. I'll stick with you. John has to move on to the next game. It's the Bradford Bulls vs Castleford Tigers. The battle of the Fords at odds, so final score was Bradford 32, Castleford 22. John, what a first half from Bradford? Absolutely dominated. Absolutely, absolutely. Yeah, just amazed. I mean, it was almost most winged game for the Bulls. We had to do it. And it's been a long time. 10th of July was the last time that we actually won a game. So, and with a depleted squad again, but yeah, they just went on, kicked on, kicked on. I think first try from Riley Dean in the first five minutes. What a try,
that one. And then they carried on, didn't they? You know, I thought the defence was really, really good. Wonga Blake had another fabulous game and Evan Skur, what a player. He's come on Leapstone Bounds this this year. You know, is a championship forward? I get to spend a lot of time on him. He's slimmed him down a little bit and he's such a short player. He's not a big lad, but just powerful, isn't he? Yeah. Scott is trying really well. Chuck is trying really well. Yeah. But yeah, first half, first half was absolutely fabulous. I was so, so pleased. Yeah. Another player I thought played Royal for you was Occomba. I thought he had a really good game. He was there for, you know, great tackles on. We keep him a papalangi quiet, intercepting, preventing further tries, making good good metres as well. He's probably one of the best I've seen in play. Yeah, and putting, putting senior out as well. He took him out, didn't he? Yeah. And then of course we knocked on from that once and came position 10 metres. That's just typical in it.
He can get yourself into that situation. Great defensive effort from Occomba. And then next news, you're knocked on. Well, that's typical balls I can't take, but no, no, super, super first half. Big quite a second half, but I think the damage was done, wasn't it? Yeah. Sim, obviously, you're being a cast of the fan watching this game. Second half time is 26 points to fall. The game's pretty much done you probably imagine there. What was you kind of hoping for? Because obviously, Casavid did come out with a much better second half performance against Bradford. Well, I attended the game, so I was just open and stopped raining to be fair at half time. It would get it for me. It would game over at half time. And yeah, I stupidly waited all wait till 80th minute and then went out at final. It would like to say, it would game over at half time. Obviously, spirited fight back in the second half by Casavid. Obviously, we won second half
and at day, we were too much of an ill to climb, bit like poor old fans climbing down into stadium and climbing back out after it. It would just too much, too much, too little, too late. Yeah, we had quite a lot of ball in Bradford's own 20th and Fair Play to Bradford. The defended and the got through night and the got the win and we both move on to this week, whereas we'll go to Huddersfield and hopefully we can sign off what's been a very poor season for us with with a win. But yeah, I say Fair Play to Bradford on night. The compie had the got in front, the kept in front and they got the win. I still think that half at Casavid team are probably championship standard. And like John rightly said there, like Evan Skir, couple at Bradford players which probably won't be around Bradford 17 next year or at least Bradford starting 17 compie at very well on night and they got the nose in front and they got
the win but just got to take small positives and small wins as a cast fan that like I said, we won second half and hopefully if we can take what we did in second half into this week, we can trouble Huddersfield which could be Huddersfield's last ever game at Huddersfield. Well hopefully not we do hope the Giants will be returning back to Huddersfield at some point in the future we just don't know when. credits where credits to the cast of them the Papa Langer did have a good game, setting the second half, scoring two tries it was it was putting the effort and it's probably we've probably got best player to be fair with my Papa Langer. Yeah he's nowhere near match fit. They were made doubt for every actually play but obviously a minute we've got no centers in club Alex Miller played in other centre and he's not a centre. But yeah fair play to my Papa Langer, he did get two tries on night and he hopefully come through it anymore unscathed and he already is but yeah like to make we just we move on to next week and I'll be there at
Huddersfield next week, loyal supporting them. Brilliant and John as well certainly in the first half Casper were making a lot of errors and it was good for Bradford setting the first half, capitalising on those errors and punishing him but then the second half again the scene the discipline seemed to drop a little bit which probably would be a bit more concerning for Bradford going into the next game. Yeah definitely I think it comes down to the desperation that we had as well. Nobody wants to finish bottom of soul playing with the injuries that we've had all season it's no surprise that we are that we are actually there but we had to we had to make casts, we had to make them unfortunately some of the results I know that he kept rely on the results but they didn't particularly go out of way this this week for us to get off the bottom spot however there is still hope. You know if in February you know said to me that we're going to win seven games at a second that at a second that all they're long you know like
I said earlier about the Tully was winning the ten games we've all we've all we've all done outstanding this season with the time that we had to recruit so I'll take the seven wins and let's hope for an eighth when at York. Well it's quite possibly you know you don't know what's going to happen like saying spot and York and Bradford have been playing quite similar styles of you both had your injury issues so it could be very interesting game for it's going to be an outstanding game on Thursday it's going to be an outstanding game it's a mooks watch definitely speaking obviously being much watch and Vostag you saw this on TV as well so half of it on TV because the sky feed just wasn't up to scratch and we've got to ask the question however we're looking we're getting a new sky deal um continue on but for less money and fewer games it's not good enough when you can't watch the game now either either it wasn't on sky to be honest with you mate um absolutely garbage the the putting our games behind the red button and it's a fellow with a laptop or a ZX81 if you're that old you can remember them you know and I certainly
do I'm at that setting age um or an Amstrad there you go um I just think absolutely garbage mates I I first couldn't get it on properly a first um and I know there was a another couple of people on the group chat who couldn't get on a first and then all throughout the first half it was just buffering and buffering and I am quite tolerance um but I just give up on them before maybe mokins roll went through me tilly um Mrs Vostag I actually got up and went upstairs so I just see the upstairs because I was getting that old um it was just absolutely garbage it was buffering um just not good at all mate I I quite happily was not going with sky and going with someone else I'd rather pay the subscription to someone who's gonna give me a better service yeah what's strange is obviously people were watching it on super league plus wasn't getting the buffering on the sound issues running to announce this and it's it's the same feed coming
through so how can it be good on super league plus but then poor on sky if anything you think it the other way around well you would do me because obviously sky uh you know multi billion pound company and you know uh you think you'd be getting a good service for it's absolutely garbage mate absolutely garbage even you know with sky you you look at um you had the uh the an RL and it was you know the under game for jay are all wasn't it and there wasn't even a a build-up or anything to it you know things like that mate these are different things that sky should be promoting our game and and he don't it's just like we're an afterthought I think he put us behind snooker and crown cream balls and everything it's sure it's it's it's not good in the state it really isn't it's absolutely garbage really isn't it got me right now
haven't you that's it neither neither ship it's just to crown yourself down it is it is a funny one though isn't it um I wasn't able to get to the game because I was a whale last week uh and my stream were absolutely faultless yeah my stream was faultless as well and to be honest I was wishing it wasn't uh watching part of the game um I was kind of on and off for this this game just picking up what volstad said there it's interesting to think how much prior how the prioritization we get from sky is definitely been a drop off in terms of the kind of mid game adverts in other sports you'd often see super league being pushed during premier league games all sorts that's all stopped and um I've always been a bit of advocate for skies coverage in parts anyway and I've always thought well it's quite nice to be able to to pay for sky for for us to be league and for the football everything but it's getting to the stage where you ride volstad but we're a complete afterthought and maybe like they they they want to push absolutely any other sport except for hours and you know some like design coming in if they perhaps were to take four games a week and then
and then maybe NRL as well I just feel if they had hold of it it would be pushed in a very very different way the only my only caveat to that is that we used to talk a lot about terrestrial tv and exposure I'm not we're all like that we're not convinced that that is as important as it used to be because you know who sits and puts BBC1 on ITV on maybe some but it's not as often I think sky sports is a little bit like that now though so I get people who I are not robber league plans at all but they would tell me good win for later a weekend because then I will be driving as a league so it's a weird one isn't it's almost like the replacement for terrestrial sky sports now but it's got to the stage where they don't want us on there they're not put us on main event they're not put us on any of the main channels so even that part of the exposure by being on sky sports now for me has gone so I'm with you volstad I think yeah that's that's pay for it in a different way yeah definitely and it is frustrating when you starting to see this and like I say we're not getting the right level of coverage and I do sometimes wonder
thinking about this when Dave mentioned it on week to this week is it because the RFL firms feel literally leaving everything to the last possible minute so when sky feel like they can turn up with a par offer and do the RFL got to but we've got to take it because we haven't got time to put out to tender to anybody else because it's the end of the season so I'll need to once again yeah I mean I've read stuff and heard stuff on podcasts that they are to zone actually off with more money than sky so it's like why are you going with them for you know what I mean and I like like Paul said I think four games will go on this own for premier sports and they've got the owners have got to see the bigger picture forget about our fellow there always the space do I mean it's not every runs the game anyway you know what I mean sorry I said yeah it's why we've got to commercial and you think with if landers comes over in offers them a bit more money yeah you might take it straight away but if it goes on this own and they can promote the game and you get NRL games on there as well we have all the programs and
they have a program for Z-Police and stuff it's an O'Brien from Bay yeah it could be a launch pad to the sport again we've said this before aren't we you know they just take it's just taking a mic I think Jeremy and what you said about the feed right if someone's paying like I do like 100 quid a month for wet versus for sky why is that fee worse than what you pay for even 100 quid a year on Super League plus it doesn't make any sense does it not mean so it's just yeah take the hit take the hit go with his own you know it can't be any worse no we're not nothing to lose that way on take that one guy tells the one I had this game for a move on now see a final score Bradford 32 and Kasper Tigers 22 in that game next game we're going to look at then was Lee versus Saints in a do-oh-die game for St Helen's however the Lee Leopard's proving too strong for St Helen's final score 48 points to 10 to the Lee Leopard's Vosda Gumejo debut I think it was
trip to the LSD to see this game not the performance he was expecting from Saints unfortunately for this game it but Lee were just far too strong to be honest with you it was I didn't think we'd win I I had no no conceptions that we were going to win or that it made because we had such a week in team and you know I was going there just for the experience so it was lovely because the buildup was great and I've written it at the ground it was really good I didn't waste practice the ground was packed and I managed to have a long distance wave with them with the carry from it with Carlos sorry from him ladies shackled so we had a nice wave and then I met with Stephanie's lovely family after the game so that was good a part that that was the best bit of the night to be honest with you
what with the what with the bonuses obviously Tisland Taylor was absolutely brilliant thought he was phenomenal and I did a bow he did his best it's actually well he did his best the young lads looking to say about that you know young summer freeze this is absolutely best you know we brand new in the team is Nicole Mars come on you know we've got players that you know take your Douglas Cone in for another side that was a absolute bonus you would love to land off from it's system sailors as well just out the back door so that was absolutely phenomenal and then obviously it's system sailors say where he'd run lateral about 20 meters and then pass it to bandy and then he does it all sort of like body swerve and his feet were like Roy Castle shall we say people won't remember him I did that tap dancing king Simult Leye you know all that move there you go
that's it you're dedication put it that way and then I'd be robberl runs right down the center in a little off-load to system sailors over the goals but for me it was a master flasks for a master class from Cooke thought he was absolutely fabulous to be honest I did to know what there was there was someone sitting in front of me a fellow he had a couple of kids with him and a couple of ladies and the abuse he was given the liner when they'd got it signed the you know they come behind the sticks and the language he was using to the liner only a young kid as well and I was just I was shaking me I was thinking what are you teaching these kids it was just absolutely pathetic there was I had no problem with any of the tries that went over apart from one which I thought we had an obstruction and I think that was the I forget which try was now to be honest with you I think it might have been Hanley's first one there was people shouting for a knock-off
for the the try where Cooke went over it happened he knew he was going down he rolls the ball back with Cooke because this does a little slight kick on it and goals slim and scores not a problem Charlie going over great try I thought that was brilliant to be honest with you me lad was cringing he thought it was like quite cringy but I thought it was quite good to be honest with you it's nice to see things like that you know when a senior you know we had a few good runs didn't you as well I just thought that they were the better team by far really did they were miles out of Osborne and they can perform like that you know as all you said before any of the six can win it you know you put yourselves in a great position if you're playing like that because it's all about confidence as well and they must be really confidence because you know for the scoreline as
well they absolutely sounds does you know it was good to see though that most fans stayed till a very very end and that was both sets of fans to be honest with you we were still bouncing after 80 minutes you know we were still singing away enjoying ourselves I think the only downside was your pace here the donatee minutes except for the simb in Osborne you know we give them a good sing song as he was going off and at all it was a very very clever at the ground where he had a bye bye baby playing as he's walking off it was just really good you know the the entertainment that you get at the LSD made was absolutely phenomenal but now I'm about to atmosphere it's absolute brilliant and that's what I think you need at every ground that makes you a matchday experience and I'm also saying to more of that you know what I mean it was it was absolutely phenomenal nice absolute brilliance and you know good luck to leave because they were absolutely brilliant and I've got no qualms at all honestly but the results yeah there's a few times I thought
maybe a bit soft there's some soft defense from from St. Alan's I think it's certainly a papay's try where you've got the ball and kind of like scooped over and and scored and I thought you've got players there unfortunately because that was a care and couldn't even special so for what and you'd have thought St. Alan's had been prepared for something like that yeah but you've got players out near a card you know you had a card to be placed like to call Mars you was in the wrong position to try and stop him these are lots you haven't got enough game time you know to allow them some on freeze that has got a lot of games time you know take it to glissazons you know it's gonna take time and these lads have played the dinner you know they give them give them on they give older persons each game each game that they can and that's all you can ask for when you got an insoli ravage side you know we had I think that's 16 hours and sushi suspended you know
what can you do it's it's been the story of our season but it was like for me and you know I'm still better over all you go and you know we had so many plays injured and we were still in the top six egos and then we filtered down and it's one of them you know I've read on social media some people I won't be getting a season to get next season don't do you know the beginning if you can't supporters when we're down in the dump stopy supporters when you're doing for and the wrong and things like that it's once again and slight old fans thinking we should be winning everything you can't win everything and we've had a season where it's unprecedented with amounts of injuries so to know what you go yeah you need to disappoint it you know similar back beyond that you go to games and you disappoint it then in the way you know your team comes out and you know they're defeating everything but if you if the players and as good
forgive it under a person then you can't ball and if a player is not as good but doesn't say then you can you know give your concerns but if a player is not good you know and they haven't got they haven't got the experience or anything you can't slate them if they're giving it under a person that's all you can ask with players and you know it was great to hear fans sing them you know the young lad's names and and that because next season are they going to get on the side well they might have to use them because if you get the the the experience plays to haven't been good enough for for ourselves you know MacDonald is one of the missing you know he sends you the game I think he's played about three games you know he's been injured so much and when he's played he hasn't been great so he's been offered out to clubs and no one's so come so there's a body yeah you know and I got people telling him saying oh you know sailors not good enough and next fella not good enough and the sailors just play the season for us so obviously he must be
good enough Muslim you know me and it's as you like to say Craig any they walk amongst us and he certainly do so you know I'll be there next week made cheering the lad's on and saying thanks very much for the ones who give it under percent effort you know thank you very much and tonight to some of the players because obviously some of them won't be there next season but you know what roll on next season 2027 I'll be there again onwards onwards up the chains yeah and like say you've got a lot of good young talent coming through they just need that bit more game time and experience and as I said last week sometimes if you you are fortunate to not have a lot of injuries then you don't get the opportunity to bring some of these players in so sometimes it can be a bit of a blessing in the case not having a lot of injuries and like whole care I think found out towards the back end of this season is they've had a lot of players obviously now having to go off injured or rested and the vats throw these youngsters in that haven't got the opportunity
Paul obviously you've got to see this game as well talking about like say Josh Chamion is try scoring celebration that was that was comedy girl wasn't it I was surprised what was that didn't mention that I think that's it's been a bit hit and missing terms of whether people have enjoyed that and I loved it I actually loved it and a few people I was watching the game we'd loved it that's the sort of thing that that gets eyes on the sport that's the sort of thing that is fun I think if any people are funny don't like it well you don't have to watch it up and I just think that was that was really great and the whole experience the LSD is fabulous I've been there I've seen the you know everything they do in terms of you know the shows and the light shows LSD shows it's a fantastic experience and such a success story Leigh on day I think in terms of the game I agree what Vosda said to Alan Kirk I think he was absolutely phenomenal in terms of defensive line he kind of just organised everything he had he had a handing absolutely every single thing that they did well but one thing what I mentioned as well as a minor handler I just really enjoyed
the strength in his runs I mean he was almost in he's not he's a strong guy but he's not a massive guy but he looks almost intaculable when he when he's on those runs you just you know they couldn't put Leigh on him really at times and not just for the time he scored but just when he was running a line and hitting a line it was yeah he was a real highlight for me in terms of the game yeah definitely I mean Hanely's getting better I think it's the season goes on and then obviously Kirk had to hand it everything including Seal's hair at one point which is interesting concepts Vosda he wants to come back in don't about hair mate I just want to mention Robbie Mullen or Magnum P.I as I was calling him that's a lot of reference I'm not everyone under 50 is going to get that well I'm out of my stats you know being just over 50 but do you know what I love Robbie Mullen I think he's a great player and some size and he can shift you know and it's
short with the side you know it was a great land that he'd run going he just powered through and poor you're right what you say about Hanely but he was absolutely quality isn't he you know for someone who isn't you know built like an outhouse shall we say he puts himself through it doesn't he you know it was absolutely brilliant to see and that's what I'm saying about people who give it under percent that's all you want your team to do every player just give it under percent and if they do that you're going to pull out them off yeah these are people who still have vegan no I think he's Pisces if he's a vegan mate I'm going to give up me I'm telling you I'll have to make sure he's size yeah obviously that was his 100th game as well for like and he's moving on isn't he next year next season yes so not bad ways it's a sign off for your 100th game he's got his bag of try so yeah great result there for the Lily Leppies is anyone else got anything else to want to
mention about this game yeah Ollie yeah anything I'd say about Saints and I've got the hoop you know I've got no skin on the Saints and I've worn some fun but the amount of human players that played this year that they might you know they might get the benefit of that next year like we've done this year I think and you know I'm just going back to people being upset and stuff and we just forgot to mention them in the warranting that you could visibly see green on the haze absolutely upset look like he was going to cry at the end of the game so for all them keyboard warriors slagging players off it just shows how much you know the game means to people who play it do you know I mean so and they're not very well paid players do you know I mean so you know just think of that before you like slag people off because you know he's done really well and obviously some of the Saints players are done really well haven't you probably wouldn't expect to the players as many minutes have done so I think they'll they'll see a benefit next year when they're not under pressure and they've probably got other people you can rely on so yeah sometimes is worth that season of
pain having to bleed youngsters in I can still remember many years ago I go and brother this is where like Liam Farrell was coming through so I was out so my age now for being on the Wiggins Supplies and it was just his young team coming through he had a load of injuries and me brother who was at the time we supported since and he was laughing and he was jerks as I you know your old rubsions have said yeah but you watch that Wiggins team stick together in a few years time they'll be unstoppable and now look at what the start to build since then again bleeding in the youngsters and again sometimes you take the rough with a smooth you might get a few injuries get their mungsters in they will play for that badge more than they'll play for a paycheck because they'll probably grown up being supporters of that club and then in a few years time you're going to have some absolutely brilliant and experienced young players coming through which benefits the sport and everything in general and so if no one's getting anything else that was so final score they're Lee 48 Centhowans 10 and final game at the LSBA believe it is for Lee this season moving on to the next game then Hulk Aaron's 10 Huddersfield for Willie Peters final home game
of his whole car career final score was 36 points to 6 in favour of the whole K-Art Simmo you you saw this game Huddersfield really struggled with the K-R offload game this was since with a big undoing for Huddersfield in this one yeah did I did watch this obviously my team cast of the playoffs failed this week and to be honest we are Huddersfield were pretty well full at times I think K-R dominated from first whistle right at final whistle and everywhere in between yeah it was just a masterclass by K-R every time they seemed to take ball up they were it in and spinning looking for offloads yeah it was it was a good good good game for all K-R to get back on the earth as they say after a couple of bad defeats yeah like said Willie Peters' last game
at home I'm pretty sure they preferred it to be Nillant Scarshy against him but obviously it won't meant to be in Huddersfield managed to get a score against him but yeah like I say it's same again for all K-R now it's hopefully back to drawing board into training and the move on to next week we are going under the belts yeah it can be that bit of confidence because certainly because how Huddersfield had been playing over the last few weeks they've really been building into more of an accomplished team not not either where seven or eight weeks ago they've got a few wins under the belt playing very very well but then nothing seems to be coming off for Huddersfield at all in in this game they didn't get many decisions because I remember thinking whilst I was watching this game that you know there's been Huddersfield out and used the captain's challenge in a fight well they've had nothing to challenge because they've just every the care of dominated so much yeah the only thing I can promise in one major thing I say negative if I'd Tanya and
Milne had an absolute shocker of a game a few times passes went out his way went straight into torch he wanted there to collect him and then obviously his penalty for descent for shoving off just letting who hadn't let him go it seemed a bit strange that that was a penalty because we see that quite a lot when players are fighting to get free for a quicker play of the ball and then they got done for descent yeah I think back to you Tanya Milne statement it probably just a bit of out of position bit of out of timing yeah obviously giants were missing a few key players that they'd lost through injury and obviously Colgate are going back to older I kind of out Huddersfield replicate what they did this week next week against us but we shall see but yeah I think you're completely right Huddersfield didn't really have anything to complain of or even challenge about because Kaya was so clinical on night and they just went about the business
very professionally and got job done which obviously had been credit to what Willie Peters has brought throughout his tenure at all Kaya yeah definitely and Atomar got a great great game I think throughout all of it in attacking defence is second try though off the back of Martin and a man for creating the break the full nice little one so I'm just to complete that not something they expect from Reese Martin and Tom and Merntoby doing that Alarmbrick and with that speed as well that they seem to break through Huddersfield yeah athletes absolute athletes and Tom and Mone you could see that at season you want quite the pace is that used to obviously he had a bit of a doggy season previously we can't agree then he came to obviously my team and at season and he wore a shadow of his former self and you can see what a good preseason and obviously a good handful of games for Kaya has done to him and yeah Reese Martin rolling back years with his
twin-coled toes and his twin-colons and he's obviously got a couple more games to go before he sails off into sunset to PNG yeah definitely and the set about 11,500 fans was in Kremlin in fact he didn't look that full so to prefer I think that might certainly average attendance out and but that is the official one I might stand corrected on that one for anyone that is listening but he didn't look like it was because the Kremlin packs on the 12,000 capacity so there was more than you know 500 seats left so yeah it was I think some credit for Huddersfield that defended enough that it wasn't an absolute blowout you know it wasn't like 50 points and the defended enough to keep it's like three tries in either half that the conceded it was just one of them games I think that whole Kaya they needed to get the win back and they seemed to wet well as a team so maybe
pulling off together with the players had a good idea to rest memories because players last week against Wiggen yeah it obviously showed didn't it sometimes it's either risk and reward and obviously risk of resting players last week as rewarded it this week and going forward whereas we'll see what happens this week in terms of if any teams rest any players for last game at season going into playoffs yeah definitely because obviously that win no secure as whole Kaya into the playoffs and ended since running straight I think Skamy I mentioned that since wet in the playoffs of the first times since 1962 once or twice or 17 doesn't times so yeah obviously Kaya can afford to rest players as the gutter wadson Helen so who knows what could happen there does anyone have anything else for the mention about this game? yep yes a final score there a whole Kaya 36 Huddersfield giant six not the best performance from Huddersfield but they still managed to get a score so they've got something to be a little bit
proud of there's the move on to the final game of the season and then the last game of course was Katalan's vs York final score Katalan 16 York 28 Volseg you've like me most to see the highlights because I was excited leads as well and Katalan started very strong but then York just do what York doing carry on playing to the final final Huta yeah once again that Karolator wasn't it with two you know it seems you have come good to see you know playing there but I said sorry yeah because you got to yeah but it's the first two though you know I think the knocked York a little bit didn't you know and I think you woke up a bit then a Huntsett didn't call the Huntsett you woke up and he got involved in quite a bit to be honest with you I just saw Josh Allen as well when he went through for him the Custer and then you know there was that was a no try I think that knocked the stuff and
I had a cat and I little bit didn't it you know because that had to shock them at then but I don't know what it is with Katalan he seems to you know flounder shall we say you thought he got a bit of a bounce you when Kat right went there but it just doesn't happen that's a little trouble you know I don't know what's wrong with them to be honest with you I mean I was really pleased for York because you know that was a good winter and a much needed winter for them wasn't and a good try by Paul Vaughan as well at the end you know we powered through didn't he always been a great sign of it and to be honest with you I think it was you know John Panishan I think he's been a great sign of it and I just I don't know with York you want them to do
well don't you know I think people have got a lovely little soft spot for them well John doesn't next week I got a soft spot for Katalan next week by the way yeah I'll be nice and rested we're going to loan them some we're going to loan them some plays and then we're going to have a little food poisoning epidemic in Wiggin this week imagine if that happens you'll be all over-sky news don't you don't put it down John's just putting gestures everywhere so I don't want I don't want them swearing on here can I just add one thing up I made a bit of a mistake here I was kind of early on we were talking about Talu's being the right way to do it in terms of having French players at you know we've seen actually looking at the Katalan side they had more French players playing for him on this weekend than Talu's did the entire bench was French and they had six other players so yeah to an extent they are doing it right in a way but just the not yes not yesterday I think well Katalan's there's a bit of a disrupter season that they've had
two curtches coming in at the VADs you know they're aware playing they're aware travel's been been very poor to say the least and it's just kind of yes being a bit of a for Katalan's a bit disappointed because there is so much potential was only a few years ago they're going was it back to background finals there's a it's just a shame that it's happened but we did say to absolutely brilliant tries Daryl Talu's is there try straight from his own line basically to come back up one other 50 meters to score and Harris in the second half when he got it from Yorke's fair to me and then went a good long distance so again Yorke and Katalan's they've both got that potential to run from deep to score some absolute stunning tries in this game which is just yeah it was just a bit of a shame to say for Katalan's that they've not been there but at least now we get to say that night slid the dragons. Oh did you say that all season. Yeah I did I did
I did obviously the night slid the dragons as anyone got anything else to want to add on to this game yeah Ollie. Not so much the game but Yorke seemed to have made some really good signings for next year you know they've got South-Hardaday currently they've got Jawa they've got me is it mechanics the Australia. That's that's a hell of a signing yeah hell of a signing and they've is it the high is the riches man in Yorke's room can all the family all well so I think they I think they're gonna build for next year don't they. They've done the off the off show in it. Yeah and Paul won't probably sponsored by being key because he loves above you. I think you can do with him Jermaine so I've been they've been they've gone the right way Yorke do I mean anything they've built on signing experience players and I think I think they'll they're not gonna probably beat top six next year but I think they'll build and build and build and I think they they do really well so. They match those fantastic when when you go to the stadium it's it's very well
run there's a lot to do around the stadium yeah they're doing the right things off the field as well. Yeah get the unicycled nights as well which is pretty cool well that's quite interesting to say this is good is our intention to go into Yorke I quite liked it to be fair. I haven't you now the gestures last time so they have people the crowd is really wicked. Yeah the the the really build on that the early it is it is quite good to see. Especially when she's well to it's a pole of on he's gone the whole season so far without what card which is quite a good positive thing because obviously as Redgiel keep reminding us of his disciplinary record but does anything else anything else to add on this game for wrap up? No so yeah Catalan's fallen to the dragon fallen to the night sorry that was 16 points 28 16 12 at half time so again sure as how good Yorke's defense built upon the second half so that wraps up the game so before move on to the purple bin Simmer what is your surprising stat of the week? Right fellas which team completed the most sets this week which single team completed the most sets this week so you've
got a winning seven well you've got a winning 14 chance again actually this week winning 14 chance right Vostak I'll go to you first which team completed the most sets this week? Wiggen okay jump yeah Wiggen definitely with my opinion Oli I was gonna say Wiggen the pies oh my feet I think Lee scored the most points so maybe Lee okay and Craig I'm gonna say I'm yeah I'm gonna be doing this a whole care you know what you were all wrong and this question I actually had prepared before I even looked at the answers the answer was Castleford with 39 completed sets wow so yeah Castleford completed 39 sets with a completion rate of 78% so that's probably
didn't help it but yeah 39 completed sets this week for the Castleford Tigers the most at round wow well done Castleford on that one and so if you move on to how for a bit of fun now we have a called the purple bin section so Vostak what have we got for your purple bin this week you don't need the big one me and that's him the sky plus red button get it in a bin that is it's absolutely shocking absolutely garbage made yeah that car I do that anybody else want anything else to suggest or we want another sky yeah Vostak open your bin sky it's going in that was yeah that was so far from from Sky Shirt you're paying for his premium service you shouldn't be getting that level so next week obviously is the final round of the super league's regular season so next week we have Leeds vs whole FC Lee vs workfield warrant and take on to lose your vs Bradford Saints vs whole care Huddersfield their last game at the Akku and then Wigam Warriors
