Iran's supreme leader is dead, and the Islamic regime may soon be no more.
All because of the work of Israel and the United States over a single weekend.
So this is the most just and moral war to wage against a weak Iranian regime.
In a pivotal moment, before they reach nuclear weapons,
when you are weak with these kinds of regimes,
it does not stop in the Middle East.
This is the Fox News rundown, US and Israel's Strike Iran.
This past weekend saw a decisive military action taken by both the United States and Israel
against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In less than two days, by way of airstrikes and missiles, both allies have killed the Islamic
Republic's top political and military echelon.
Namely, the Islamic Republic's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Hamani.
This action comes more than two years after the Iran-aligned terrorist attacks by Hamas
of October 7th, 2023, which started a war that has since led to those terror syndicates'
destruction and to last summer's joint attack on Iran's nuclear facilities,
known in the US as Operation Midnight Hammer.
These measures, however, are expected to be longer and bloodier.
At least four US troops have been killed in the past few days.
Israel has suffered civilian casualties when one of Iran's missiles landed in a Tel Aviv
and while President Trump has now told Americans to expect a longer campaign and the potential
for more losses, the Israelis have been expecting, if not preparing, for such a new chapter in the
conflict. Since October 7th, we knew that the day to confront Iran will come.
Ami Hayshikli is the minister for diaspora affairs and combating anti-Semitism in Israel
and official in the government of Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Quite amazing. I had a conversation
with two years ago in the middle of the war with one of the most senior commanders in the IDF
and he told me Kaminayi tried to launch a war that would erase Israel from the map,
but the result of this war is that his regime and himself will be erased.
And that was long, long before rising lion and the current operation.
So there was a lot of strategic planning on the top level in Israel,
how to manage this war and also the deep understanding that October 7th attacked by Hamas
and the day after by Hisbalah joined on October 8th was the move that was planned in Iran.
There is a strategic move of the Iranian Revolutionary Gallery. It's not just Hamas.
The problem was for Hamas, Hisbalah and Iran, that they were not coordinated and
Sinewar rushed and play a move when the axis wasn't 100% ready for it.
And now back to what's going on here in Israel, so after two years of war and after,
especially after operation, rising lion, when we have dealt with hundreds of ballistic missiles
from Iran and drones and the heart of our cities were targeted, the hospitals,
the city center of Tel Aviv and Petartikva and Batiyam. And so we are very well prepared.
We know exactly what to wait for. But also despite the fact that we are ready,
when you have a ballistic missile that is directly a shelter and you have nine casualties in
Batiyamas yesterday, it is still very, very difficult and very, very hard, but the morale is very high.
And the people in Israel, they just want to finish with this regime and also to support the Iranian
people. We have seen what happened in Iran in recent months, you know, that the world is
gone crazy, you have so many events, everything is happening so fast, but still 30 to 40,000
casualties of innocent protests were butchered and massacred and the world was silent.
You saw no major demonstrations in Yale or Colombia or Harvard, the streets of New York and the
streets of London and Paris were empty. No one went to raise their voice and to fight
for the brave Iranian people. And we are so proud that we had a chance together with the US,
with President Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu who promised the protest that there's going to
be help. And I think it would be a disaster if we were in a situation that we have promised
to help the protesters and nothing would happen eventually.
Well, something certainly did happen and it was rather swift and forceful. I mean,
this is truly to pull a Jewish term, a Maccabees hammer. This was perhaps shocking to a lot of
people and I think perhaps maybe shocking to the Arab nations, especially of the Gulf of the
Gulf Cooperation Council. They've seen this escalate very quickly and their reaction, I think,
has also been quite interesting. It's not Israel that has struck them. It is Iran that has struck
them with the Iranian regime and that has turned a politics upside down in about 24 hours time,
hasn't it? Yeah. And you can see that when we're saying that Iran is a threat, not just for
Israel, but for the entire region. So you have a demonstration for what we meant when they were
attacking the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, the entire region was attacked by the Iranian
Revolutionary Guards, showing exactly proving the danger that this regime posed for the entire
region. And I'm very happy that we hear a clear condemnation from Saudi Arabia, from Qatar,
from the Gulf League of State. And that is super important. And I hope, and by the way, the UAE
was the one who was most visibly attacked because the UAE is very close with both Israel and the
US. UAE is the pillar of the Abrahamicals, the pioneers of the Abrahamicals. You went
hand-in-hand with President Trump in his ambitious and courageous peace plan of Abrahamicals.
And I really hope that what we're seeing in the past days will also have a positive impact
on Saudi Arabia to move into the Abrahamicals, into the coalition of states like the UAE,
the US, Israel, India, to go with the good guys and not with the Islamist axis, the new Islamist
axis that is emerging of Turkey and Jolani Syria, which are very, very dangerous at the moment
with the leadership of Erdogan and Jolani. This obviously represents a big change in things,
but I think also it might represent, as you're alluding to, some good hope about it, because we've
seen even Qatar has been very condemning of what Iran has done these past couple of days.
Absolutely. And Qatar is usually not so condemning of Iran and they're usually quite condemning
of Israel. I'm very, very, I have a lot of
criticism and I have no good words to say about Qatar in recent years. They have invested
billions in brainwashing of the young American minds in the Ivy League universities. They're
pushing Jihadist agenda in AJ plus in Al-Jazeera, buying influencers. They've played a super negative
role during the past three years since October 7th. And I hope that these major events in recent
in recent days, we might change the course even of Qatar. We have no interest to be the
enemy of Qatar. We have no interest to be an enemy of any other nation around us. We are a peaceful
nation. And we hope to see the Abraham Accords expanding. I think that what we're seeing now
is 100% the policy of President Trump peace through strengths. And I think that the strengths
that the youth showed in Midnight Hamir and in Venezuela and now in Iran, I think it's very,
very important for America because we can see once again America as a superpower, as a moral force
in the world, as a nation that you can look at and say, we are lucky to have America strong
and meaningful and caring the torch of freedom and human dignity. And this is truly inspiring.
And I think that really Trump is an historical leader. And we've seen very weak leaders in America.
We have so Biden with the catastrophe in Afghanistan. And later on, the catastrophe with Ukraine and Russia.
And later on October 7th. And you can see a collapse of the world order under his week administration,
not to mention Barack Obama. Barack Obama was not weak. Barack Obama was a player that actually
empowers the most vicious regime on earth, the Iranian Revolutionary Girls Iran. He pushed
billions to the economy of Iran. And by that, to the economy of Khisbalah and Hamas, he destroyed
the Arab world with the uprising in the Arab Spring. He brought Woolsey to power, the Muslim Brotherhood
in Egypt, forcing Mubarak to go to this election, thinking that he can push democracy into Egypt,
Libya. And I think that what we're seeing now is truly remarkable. I think Trump is saving
the West. That's what we're seeing. We are speaking with Amir Hayashikli. He is the minister for
diaspora affairs for the government of the state of Israel. On the Fox News rundown, U.S. and
Israel, Strike Iran, please like and subscribe and share this podcast. We'll have more straight ahead.
It's a longer conversation to have, but it does reflect. And your perspective is certainly
welcome, because we Americans sometimes only see our foreign policy decisions from
Washington as they go out. We don't often see them how they're received elsewhere around the
world where they could be the most of, you know, where they're doing the most impact. And
I think Americans should be very, very proud of their president who is bringing
good to the world. I think eventually it is a moral war. It is a moral war against a terrible
regime who is responsible for so much bloodshed of American soldiers, of French soldiers.
Just take a look at the role of Iran in the civil war in Syria with Hisbalah and Bashar
Assad who butchered hundreds of thousands of people who turned Syria into a disaster zone,
who destroyed Lebanon with Hisbalah, who destroyed Yemen. This is all coming from Iran.
So this is the most just and moral war to wage against a weak Iranian regime. In a pivotal moment,
before they reach nuclear weapons. And I think it's super important to have this understanding
that when you are weak with these kind of regimes, it does not stop in the Middle East.
It goes to Latin America. Hisbalah is a major player in the drug industry in Latin America.
The correlation in between Hisbalah and Venezuela, Iran and Venezuela,
this is all part of the same mechanism of forces.
No, it's well known at this point that there have been that type of awful cooperation.
I want to ask you a couple, one other thing before we end our time with you.
You served in the IDF as most Israelis do. There's a younger generation of soldiers that have
been had all of these tasks placed on their shoulders these past couple of years.
I imagine they're tired, but I can also imagine they are ready for this.
I'm quite jealous. I would prefer to self now than 20 years ago.
I'm quite jealous and they have been remarkable. Before the war, we called them the TikTok generation.
But it appeared that the TikTok generation
is so brave and so remarkable. When you take a look at the infantry and the armoured corps,
you have companies where people have lost friends, in some cases, dozens of friends in the same
company. Many injured tough injuries and they still for two years in a role. Keep fighting and
we are very, very proud of the younger generation. We are very proud.
