I'm like, this is actually very technologically forward for the time. Yeah. Well, and yeah, first of all, yes, they did yellow face, but they didn't go full accent or any of that stuff. It's all of the Vodville beats. You could tell everybody has their chops very, very polished. You're leaning on the easy rhythm. I adored the trope of when the gong sounds, you're going to be swav and in control. And then in walks 99 and all of us are predictive models are going into overdrive, trying to figure out how it's going to look. And then she, you know, her confusion followed by a giddiness at swatting. You need money. I'm taking you out to dinner. You kissed your life. It's great. Well, but also, but also she reacted like a wife would and feel like, what are you doing? And then it's like, oh, wait, hold on. What are you doing? Maybe this isn't so bad. Yeah. I thought there were some pretty good beats. If you take, if you take it analytically and just look at, you know,

5:38the story of mind control, gong, gave Don Adams a chance to act in a way that he doesn't really act, which was pretty fun. I did appreciate the people are starving in America. And I like because when I would be born a month and a half later, that is something I would hear regularly when I was growing up is that people are starving in China. You need to finish your food. I was having a decent time watching it until I noticed a little like tape pasties in his eyes to give his eyes the slant. They weren't quite make up make up make up over make up over. Yeah. Yeah. Anyway, that was like, oh, they they we went that far in the still. Yeah, I'm again reminder that while these are shot on film, we were seeing them

9:52at a much higher resolution than they were ever meant to be seen at. Yeah. But that that finished the higher the white guy to play an Asian guy. Well, okay. Yeah. I know. I mean, the rationale at the time was, but we don't have anyone sufficiently experienced to play the lead role. Yes. Ironically. But also when you see an artifact like that, I tend to think of it as like in the context of the time meeting it where it is, does it pass the sniff test? The only question I have is whether or not we're going to watch the nude bomb made for team V movie before going to the next one. Our next full experience is Battlestar Galactica. That is that is decided. So if you're like, I want to watch the next full experience. You'll want to watch the season premiere of Battlestar Galactica from 1979. The question then that Brian has put forth to the committee is, do we watch that for next week or do we watch the nude bomb and do a one off? If okay, honest, I'm like 68% nude bomb. I am too with the understanding that this is a bonus and separate from the full experience and it is in service of the whole purpose is could you fake like you had seen a show

11:54and I feel like if you were going to pretend like you'd seen Getsmart, then you'd be able to pass most of the jokes. But the one thing everyone would ask is something something nude bomb and the it's the full experience final exam. Oh yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Can we get all the jokes? I guess the problem is we won't know if we don't get them. That's true. That's true. Will we feel like we like understood what was going on? Well, we would be definitely flatfooted. We couldn't fake like we knew what happened in the nude bomb. Although I suspect there's a nude bomb. I expect there's a bomb that makes everyone nude and they're trying to stop it from going out. Which by the way, it was probably delightfully salacious at the time. Oh, I remember it being delightfully salacious. I remember my parents discussing like, is it okay for Tom to see that? Then they had to like find out like, oh, they don't actually show any nudity. It's just a, you know, yeah. Yeah. Because heaven forbid that you let a child see someone nude in 1980 or whatever that when when when did the

12:58nude bomb come out? Well, I think it might have been like 77 I want to guess. May 9th, 1980. 80. So technically in the 70s. Wow. So get smart. Made it into the 80s. And then there was the movie in the 90s with Steve Carell. Wait, was that 90s? No, that was early. Oh, yeah, they skipped the 90s. Get smart. Skip the 90s. No, wait, there was a reboot version. They reprise the roles. Didn't they? You're right. I forgot about that. Yeah, because we noticed that when we were looking up the seasons. Yeah. Half a century of get smart. The teens, the teens didn't get any get any smarter. No, they got dumb. Now we know the problem with society. Yeah. Okay, then what happened to social media? We stopped getting smart.
