In this political Coliseum, we slay the rising beast with the fateful sword of truth that
transcends hypocrisy and censorship.
It's time to unleash yourself from the tyrants of media propaganda on the America out loud
talk radio network.
This is Unleashed, the political news hour.
Welcome to Unleashed, the political news hour on your host, Bruce Robertson.
This weekend, Unleashed, we've got the fog of war.
Folks, battle is raging in Iran for the freedom of the Iranian people, for the
security of the United States and our allies in the region, and it looks like it's another
walk away victory for the United States, and we probably knew this all along, didn't we?
I mean, Iran has been built up as the formidable enemy, just like Iraq was many years before,
and basically it's beginning to look like a game of capture the flags between special
forces and a bunch of Cub Scouts.
And in the fog of war, the man behind the curtain just got his walking papers.
Brock Obama has suddenly loyered up, and we've got a pretty good notion why.
It seems that Barack Hussein Obama has assembled his own personal dream team of criminal defense
attorneys, and we're talking about the we're in big trouble, kind, not just the just
in case kind.
Are they civil lawyers?
Nope.
Are they advisory lawyers?
Nope.
These lawyers are for when a federal grand jury comes knocking at your door, and you've
got to loyere up.
The same guy who peddled you hope and change, like it was a box of fruit loops on an after-school
special, is now bracing for a federal subpoena.
For former President Barack Hussein Obama, things just got real, folks.
And it turns out President Obama's nuclear deal with Iran wasn't so much about nuclear
weapons, but more about service fees.
Just another Democrat paid a play scheme.
We know that very well from Hillary when she was Secretary of State.
Everything was about paid a play.
Posts and pallets of unmarked bills loaded into unmarked trucks and flown on military aeroplanes
and delivered to Iran to hide the evidence of Obama's crimes against the American people.
And his connection to Jeffrey Epstein, Larry Summers, Harvard University, Soros Non-profits,
and the Epstein Fund has been exposed.
Along with the billions of dollars Iran also received servers, files, and original tapes
all to be hidden, stored, and destroyed.
Two weeks ago, an appointed member of Obama's Congressional Administration, and President
of Harvard formerly, Larry Summers, resigned from his position at Harvard without notice
due to his involvement in connection to Jeffrey Epstein and the $134 million fund.
This week, during Bill Clinton's recent Congressional deposition, the first deposition of a past
sitting President in the history of the United States, he was asked about a meeting in which
he took place in which that would win a minute.
He was asked about a meeting which took place at the Obama Foundation, in which President
Obama, former President Clinton, Larry Summers, and representatives for Iran and their respective
attorneys were all in attendance.
Bill acknowledged and confirmed the meeting, and he stated that the subject of the meeting
was about assets, quote unquote, assets, not a nuclear deal, assets.
But here's where Obama made the fatal mistake of entrusting a terrorist organization in
Iran.
This organization, by the way, probably had some dirt on Barack Obama.
They knew of some things.
They knew about the assassination, the so-called assassination of Al Qaeda leader in Pakistan.
You remember Osama bin Laden?
Remember the capture and the murder of Osama bin Laden and the obscurement of his body by
so-called dropping it out of an airplane over the ocean, which they made up some story
that was some Muslim burial ritual that they had to drop it over the ocean?
Well there was never a body, there was never DNA, and shield team 6 is dead.
So what happened really with the Osama bin Laden assassination?
I think Iran knew, and so Obama had to make this mistake of entrusting a terrorist organization
in Iran, Iran, who was paid to hide, store, and destroy the evidence, agreed to the terms
and took the payment as well as the assets.
However Iran had their own ideas, it seems like.
Iran followed through on only two of their three duties in which they paid for.
They were paid for.
They hid things and they stored things.
However Iran did not destroy things.
Choosing to hold onto those assets, as Bill Clinton called them, for possible future leverage.
But Iran didn't expect was the U.S. coming to recollect those assets.
So now guess what the Trump administration has just recovered in Tehran?
That's right, the assets, the evidence, and these assets are so explosive that it's already
being prepared for the convening of a federal grand jury.
And just like that Obama is loyering up.
The Obama's have already moved out of the country, it seems, and now they've lured up with
their own personal dream team of nine.
Not one, not two, not three lawyers, but nine criminal defense attorneys in preparation
of an almost guaranteed indictment.
The man behind the curtain just stepped out, and we may see him walk directly into handcuffs.
And what I'm hearing from my sources, the grand jury will meet this week on March 7th.
And now a word about the dialogue, the dialogue supporting and circulating about abolishing
taxes.
There's a lot of talk about abolishing taxes, and Donald Trump and some governors are
talking about removing taxes.
Now it blows my mind that we still have conversations about where we'll get roads, and who will
provide for the poor.
There are people who claim some kind of intelligence, who still debate these things in ivory tower
format, as though the answer isn't crystal clear.
And these discussions aren't just a distraction from the truth.
Let's take a look at the US GDP compared to other countries for a moment, should we?
You can see that the US GDP is higher than the next three countries combined.
And if you take China out of the equation, I don't even know how many down the list you
would have to go to find an equal GDP number to the US.
You could combine them, okay, and still not find an equal GDP to the US.
We're heading shoulders above the rest of the GDP.
So that being said, with such immense wealth in our country, the obviously crumbling
infrastructure, and the sorry state of our welfare programs in this country, how do you
– and Social Security too, let's not forget Social Security crumbling and failing and
probably going bankrupt soon – how do you still distract yourself thinking that taxation
is actually being used for the benefit of our citizens and residents?
You know, people say, oh, if Donald Trump eliminates taxes or if Governor DeSantis eliminates
taxes, how are we going to pay for our roads and all our programs?
Do you really think that our taxes are being used to support our roads and our programs?
Our roads are in horrible shape.
Our programs are failing in bankrupt.
That's just a facade.
The US collects something like 5 trillion a year in taxes.
Of that, approximately 1.8 trillion is allocated to the Department of Defense.
Additionally, about 50 percent of discretionary or undisclosed spending is also allocated
to the Department of Defense, all of which, I believe, is separate from police type funding
like the Department of Homeland Security, the FBI, the NSA, and others.
That's funding which falls under the DOJ, okay?
And it also doesn't include things like NATO funding that this country basically pays
for whole sale.
That's approximately a trillion dollars a year.
So the final figure for defense spending is impossible to tally, but I believe it to
land around 80 percent of our total taxes all in, maybe significantly more.
So we spend 80 percent on American adventurism, as Ron Paul calls it, and we wonder why we
can't afford anything else and why our bridges are falling down.
Despite all of this, we still somehow have a national debt that continues to rise in greater
proportion than 100 percent of the taxes collected.
So why do you all think this excessive amount of military spending is a benefit?
Why do you all argue about how to spend the crumbs from the table on our roads or on universal
healthcare or the Unaffordable Care Act or whatever else?
The vast bulk of our taxes are being spent to keep the elite firmly seated and protect
their interests in plundering the resources of us and of other countries.
So let's stop arguing about the trash, the media and the internet sends you to argue
about, and how other slaves and serfs are stealing your crumbs.
Instead, why don't we ask ourselves why the most wealthy country in the world spent
such a tiny fraction to benefit the people that are creating that wealth?
Taxation is theft and you're being lied to, folks, and the only reason they keep you
in the dark and argue is to distract you from literally this.
You all just make it so easy for all that to happen.
We'll be right back.

This is the Freedom Revival and Unleashed, the political news hour.
We're reviving freedom in the world through our actions, of course, and freedom revival
used to be the name of my former radio show on this, so I can't avoid using that term
because I like it so much I want to revive freedom in the world, and one way to do it
is to unleash the truth here on unleashed.
And I'm your host, Bruce Robertson, and before we left, we were talking about some things,
you know, my opening statements about taxation and the big lie that if we don't have taxes,
we won't be able to support our infrastructure, you know, the infrastructure that is crumbling
around us as the money is diverted to other projects.
So now here's the big story.
Let's talk about the Iran situation a little bit, and that's the big story this week.
Let me preface my next statements by saying that many of my listeners may not believe it
when I and many Iranians here in abroad tell you this, but I'm going to tell you this
anyway.
To understand why Trump hit Iran, you're going to have to understand a few things, okay?
Most people are watching Operation Epic Fury, and they're seeing what's on the surface
a war with Iran.
I see it as something much bigger.
I see it as China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea.
These are the new access powers, folks.
Not a formal alliance like NATO.
There's no sign treaty here.
There's no shared headquarters, but there's a coordinated block of authoritarian states with
shared interests, shared enemies, and shared ambitions to dismantle the Western-led
order that has kept the peace since 1945.
And allow me to suggest that Iran is the load-bearing wall in that whole infrastructure,
and Trump just knocked it down.
That load-bearing wall was being propped up by some of our quote-unquote allies, like
Great Britain.
Don't give me started on Great Britain and the city of London.
They've had a stranglehold on the region for decades and decades since 1908, since a
British man discovered oil in Iran and locked it up for the crown.
And they have been profiting and fleecing the Iranian people ever since.
If you look up the relationship with the British Persian oil company, which later became
British petroleum, you'll see what I mean.
And then there's been a series of regime changes and coups and so forth just to keep the
chaos loose enough and just to keep the oil flowing and to place puppets in government
to continue to perpetuate the stealing of Iran.
And Trump just knocked it all down.
So let's talk about what Iran meant to China, for example.
China has had one critical vulnerability and that is they don't have oil.
They have an energy problem.
It's a big country and it's a developing nation, let's say.
It must have oil and it can't produce enough oil on its own.
So Iran was a primary supplier and they were selling sanctioned oil at discounted rates
that was routed through backchandals and keeping Beijing's industrial economy running.
Well, that pipeline has just been shut down.
China was also transferring supersonic missile technology to Iran, deepening the military
partnership between the two and that transfer stops now too.
Now let's talk about what Iran meant to Russia for a moment.
Very drone that Russia fired into Ukraine was designed in Iran, not inspired by Iran.
Not similar to Iranian designs, it was designed in Iran.
The Shahed drones that were raining down on Ukrainian cities, the one way attack platforms
that have terrorized civilians for two years, all of it traces back to smart Iranian engineers
and Iranian production lines.
Operation Epic Fury just took all that out.
Now there's a man named Alexander Dugan, they called him Putin's brain for years and he
was quoted, he said it himself this past weekend, if Iran falls, Russia falls as well.
And within 48 hours of the operation launching President Putin called President Trump and
asked to restart the Ukraine peace talks, that's no coincidence, folks.
The chain reaction is already happening.
Now let's talk about what India means to this group and what it means to, are you aware
of the BRICS, Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Korea?
For years, the dollar's critics pointed to BRICS.
The economic bloc designed to create an alternative reserve currency and end American financial
dominance.
The I and BRICS is India.
The nation had founded the bloc.
Trump just flipped India over to the American camp by these actions.
Now we were working toward a stronger relationship with India anyway, so that's not such a huge
surprise.
But the coalition designed to collapse the dollar has just lost its founding member, folks.
And then there are the proxies too, there are a couple of proxies surrounding this.
There is Venezuela and Cuba.
Venezuela and Cuba were two proxies in this whole scheme.
Iranian terrorist proxies aren't just in the Middle East.
They've been trained and stationed in Venezuela and Cuba for years.
And from there, sent into the United States.
Now Venezuela is collapsing in terms of its Iron Fist rule, Maduro's in prison.
And Cuba is so desperate because we've cut them off that it may be approaching Washington
for a deal.
I'm hearing stories that we may control Cuba in a very, very short period of time.
I'm saying maybe a matter of months.
Two of China and Russia's most important Western allies now are gone or going.
The two proxies.
So the only question that matters, and I'm just being honest here, about the one question
that nobody can really answer yet, the test is going to be this.
Does this shorten the conflict or does it seed the next wave of conflicts?
And does that spill out and expand across a broader region into a full-fledged world
war?
Well only history can answer that, folks, no podcaster, no geopolitical analyst.
Not me, I don't think anybody can answer that question right at this moment.
But we will certainly cease pretty soon what's going to happen here.
But here's something that's not a matter of opinion.
Every single one of these dominoes across the world is connected.
Iran's oil is linked to China.
Iran's drones are linked to Russia.
Those proxies are in Venezuela and Cuba.
India is leaving the bricks.
And Putin is calling Trump to talk peace.
Now you can disagree with President Trump's strategies, but you can't pretend that these
connections aren't real.
And being anti-war does not really mean being anti-strength.
And there's a lot of you out there that are saying, you know, President Trump was the
anti-war president.
And now he's violating his promises by, quote unquote, starting a war.
Well first of all, there's a difference between a conflict that strengthens our national
security and a war.
The nuance sometimes is lost on a few of you.
But being anti-war does not mean being anti-strength.
Being pro-peace does not mean tolerating endless destabilization and undermining and subversion
and sedition.
Sometimes the most peaceful leader is the one that's most willing to use force, decisively
quickly and without making it perpetual.
You know, they say the strongest force for peace is the man who has a powerful weapon,
but he knows when to draw it and when to holster it.
Donald Trump didn't just attack Iran.
He pulled on a thread that is woven through the entire anti-Western world order.
The ayatollas who have been running Iran for the last 47 years were just really installed
proxies who have been maintained and protected and shielded by Western intelligence agencies
like MI6 and the CIA, and they've been working on behalf of a transnational crime syndicate
of oligarch families and big club pirates.
So the massive profits, and believe me, they were massive.
These massive profits were being extracted from keeping the Iranian threat in a serviceable
box for 47 years.
Let's put it that way.
People, little chaos in the region, don't let it spill out too much, but make people afraid
of it enough to keep our forces up and our stranglehold on the region tight enough so that
we can traffic whatever we want through Iran.
In many cases, Ukraine was the same type of hub for trafficking and illegal weapons running
and illegal drug running, and all these things that the so-called intelligence agencies have
been profiting from and feeding money into offshore accounts for decades, probably since
World War I or World War II.
So you've been watching a puppet show for the last 47 years, as the Western powers pretended
to be fighting to contain the Iranian nuclear threat, as massive profits were being re-reaped
by certain people who dwell in the shadows, and these people are at the highest levels.
Now Trump came back to office despite any of their expectations, despite their efforts
to subvert him, despite their efforts to remove him and assassinate him and impeach him
and tie him up with law fair, and Donald Trump has basically cut the strings and ended
the puppet show.
First he destroyed the Iranian nuclear threat last June, and now he's coming back and destroying
what remains of their proxy rogue regime, and simultaneously he's freeing the great Iranian
people from proxy control.
Yeah, you know, it wasn't just the Iatola that controlled the Iranian people.
The Iatola was a figurehead.
They could keep on changing Iatola's every year like they changed their socks.
But the Iatola was just a figurehead.
He didn't have operational power.
The IRGC had operational power, and they were getting their marching orders from much
higher levels in international politics.
And a lot of it came from Great Britain and the city of London.
And some of it came from us, really, and our CIA really inside the deep state.
So this is a massive setback for the international order that these people who run the world
from the shadows, who hold everything in a frozen state for decades while they reap massive
rewards from their deceptions, okay?
The city of London had a vested interest in maintaining the status quo in Iran.
Once you figure this out, you really can't ever unfigure it.
The 118-year cycle of all that control in the Middle East has ended this week.
And it all began, I'll tell you a little bit about the history about it, so put it in
perspective, okay?
It all began in 1908, when William knocks the IRC, struck oil in southwest Persia.
He obtained exclusive extraction rights from the Persian people, and he got it for a
saw.
He paid a pittance for it.
You know, they didn't care about oil at that.
In those days, they, you know, 1908, nobody really cared about oil.
They didn't see the future.
Sixteen percent royalty and no Iranian was permitted to audit the books.
So Iran got a sixteen percent royalty on whatever he pulled out of the ground, and no Iranian
was ever permitted to audit the books.
And I'm sure there was some backdoor bribery going on too, just to keep people happy on
the Iranian side.
The Anglo Persian oil company was born at that moment when oil was discovered in Persia.
And Winston Churchill called this a prize from fairy land beyond our wildest dreams.
Now think about that oil flow for a minute since 1908 or 1909.
The British government took 51, a 51 percent controlling stake in 1914, okay?
The Royal Navy ran on the oil flow from Iran.
Britain's 20th century standard of living was largely subsidized by Iranian oil wealth
while Iranian workers were living in many cases without running water.
And what's the best way to control the population except to put them under surreal law?
Who do you think's idea that was?
You think it was the Ayatollah's idea?
The British wanted to control them, of course.
So when there was a president that was, you know, of Iran that was there for a short
while in the 50s, his name was Mosadeh.
And when Mosadeh nationalized in 1951, the system corrected, Operation Ajax installed the Shah.
They moved Mosadeh out of office, okay?
So now this was designated, it's now a designated terrorist organization, okay?
But these folks, the MB, provided the street chaos in Iran, then as they have in every
managed conflict there since.
So that's the Muslim Brotherhood, by the way, the MB.
So the Muslim Brotherhood was used as a tool to keep street chaos in Iran and stir up the
people and stir up adversity so that the British could continue to upscound with the oil
and the oil money and keep the people under their boot.
So when the Shah outlived his utility, okay, the Ayatollah inherited the franchise.
You know, they deposed the Shah, the Shah came running to America and all hell broke loose
in Iran.
We had the hostage situation.
We had, you know, a week-rested Jimmy Carter not able to handle it.
Then we had strong-fisted Ronald Reagan who was able to negotiate the hostage return.
But we still had the same situation in Iran where the people were subjected to, you know,
totalitarian rule and control while the money was pouring out the back door.
So it's the same architecture all along.
It was just the same architecture and different management, really.
And the mechanism has been consistent.
The city of London set global oil prices, the insured shipments, banks and sovereign
wealth leaders and lenders for the chaos mafia's, managed the conflict between Israel and
the Arab states, Sunni and Shia, and it kept the oil extraction flowing.
The wars there were never independent events.
They were maintenance payments on the architecture.
Until today.
And now you know the rest of the story.
So what we're going to do is we're going to jump to a moment, a pause for our sponsors.
But when we come back, I'll continue this and I'll tell you how things are different.
Today, please stay with us.
This is Unleashed, the political news hour, and I'm your host, Bruce Ross.

Now is our time with my fellow Americans, America Outlaw.News, Liberty and Justice for all.
Welcome back to Unleash the Political News Hour.
I'm your host, Bruce Robertson.
And before we left for the last break, I was talking about the backstory of Iran and
how Iran was under Western control for the last 100 and 8 years or something like that.
Maybe more, 110 or 115 years.
So, what's going on in Iran?
Does everybody know?
Does anybody know?
What's happened recently is that Trump secured $2 trillion, $2 trillion.
Now, that's with a T in Gulf, sovereign, wealth investments.
Did you read about that in the last few months?
That's investment capital that comes into the United States, and that's money that sat
in city of London banks that has now been committed to American manufacturing, energy, and
AI infrastructure.
He created the board of peace.
He invited Ceci to sit at the table.
He invited Qatar and Turkey to be involved, and that's despite Benjamin Netanyahu's strong
objections.
You know, this isn't bilateral.
Trump's creating a whole new architecture.
And if you examine it carefully, you'll see it.
Treasury Secretary Bessent stated plainly in January 50% of his job is national security.
He could not have said it more plainly.
The war was always financial.
The war was always between good and evil.
The kinetic phase of war settles these accounts.
So the strike hit pretty precisely this week, you know, last Friday, actually.
The IRGC command, the Supreme Leader, not facilities, except military installations, not
the population.
We're not wiping out the Iranian people.
We need the Iranian people to restart their own government and lead to self-determination.
You know, not the state apparatus, because they need their apparatus to continue.
So this preserves the Geneva framework that was already authorized.
This leaves the structure of Iran largely intact.
For this, I would call it a pragmatic pivot.
JD Vance told the Washington Post on Friday that there's no chance that this becomes a
forever war.
That was a pretty absolute statement.
I mean, I guess we'll see, but I would call that a positive statement.
There's never been another diplomat or administration person as close to the top as JD Vance, who's
come out and said, there's no chance that this is going to extend into a greater war.
Nobody said that before Afghanistan.
Nobody certainly said that before Iraq.
When Iraq was a cakewalk, Iraq, we just marched in and took it all out the first time.
But then we had to go back and clear, you know, there was all this extended fighting and
regional fighting, and then there was Syria, and then there was Somalia, and then there
was all these other, you know, daisy chains, there was Yemen and Qatar to a certain extent
that got with the Gulf of war moves and ships being attacked and all this kind of stuff.
So JD Vance was not hedging.
He's a marine veteran who built his career opposing forever war, but getting the job done.
The Venezuela template was this, okay, going in and getting Maduro.
We removed an obstacle.
We preserved the institution of Venezuela.
We preserved the oil infrastructure of Venezuela.
And now we're dealing with the remaining government immediately.
So that's our template.
And you know, Trump told the Iranian people just like he told the Venezuelan people, take
over your government.
It will be yours to take.
That doesn't sound like a classic regime change to me.
That's not an occupation of a country where we install our own flunkies and puppets again
to perpetuate the status quo.
That's removing the final veto player who blocked both the old extraction system and the
new construction system.
The Barack Obama Maliki formation unpauses now, okay.
The GSC absorbed missiles without breaking stride because they were already on the other
side of this transition.
The streets of Hormuz threat evaporates when the actor that's threatening it is removed.
Yeah, sure.
We're still going to have to escort ships through the straits of Hormuz because there may
be some fragmented terrorist attacks on ships going through to try and they're trying to
come up keeping the flow in the region, okay.
There's the flow of traffic, of course, has to go through a narrow place called the
Straits of Hormuz.
That's crucial to the world's oil supply and so there might be a few hiccups in there
but we're going to escort those ships for the time being.
Trump just announced that.
The $2 trillion in cash flow now to the United States in capital that's been freed up.
That's where the reconstruction begins.
Now the opposition is going to call it Iraq 2003.
They're going to scream regime change, folks.
But they're never going to mention 1908 because admitting what happened in 1908 requires
them to admit who built this house of horrors and house of profits that just got foreclosed
upon.
You understand where I'm going with this people?
The reset isn't coming.
The reset happened when they were watching the explosions.
So this is historical times that we're in.
Very historical times.
We're going to have to stay tuned and watch and let's hope that there are not sleeper
cells placed around the world that create more havoc that we're going to have to root
out.
But it's overall on balance, it's a very positive development.
And let's talk about the collapse of the Axis that I spoke about.
Let's talk about the collapse of the Axis, China, Russia, the proxies, Iran, the proxies
than Venezuela and Cuba.
Why is Beijing the biggest loser today?
You know, while the world is watching these very kinetic strikes in Tehran, the real
knockout blow is landing in Beijing.
Iran wasn't just a reasonable player.
It was the cornerstone of China's plan to bypass the United States dollar and secure
a global energy lifeline for themselves.
It's all part of the Belt and Road initiative of Chinese expansion.
And you know, people are saying, hey, let's buckle up the US and Israel, just lost, launched
the strikes against Iran, and while everybody's staring at the explosions in Tehran, I, you
know, there's a, there's a, there's a commentator on X, they can cow, C-A-O, and while everybody's
staring at the explosions in Tehran, he said, I want you to look somewhere else.
Look at Beijing, China, because this war isn't just Israel and the United States versus
Iran.
This is the direct hit on China's geopolitical blueprint.
And if Iran collapses, China doesn't just lose a partner.
It loses a core pillar for its global dominance.
And let's get something straight, he said, Iran isn't just another Middle Eastern state.
Iran is the cornerstone of China's West Asian strategy.
China and Iran had signed a 25 year comprehensive strategic partnership.
Why did they do that?
Well, cheap energy, sanctions evasion, they get around the sanctions by running the oil
through, you know, dark passages.
And then also they want some regional leverage in the area.
They bypass the dollar and around 90% of Iranian oil exports go to China.
And why China?
Because China gets to buy it cheap, because China settles all their trades in the Chinese
yuan, which is their currency, not in the US dollar.
Because China then keeps those trades outside the US dollar system.
And here's the genius or the flaw of the whole thing.
So Iran gets all these Chinese yuan, all this Chinese currency.
And then Iran spends that Chinese currency buying Chinese goods.
And then the money goes right back to Beijing.
So it's a closed loop.
It's very similar to what we did with China back in the day when, you know, we shipped
our manufacturing offshore to China for the cheap labor.
You know, I've been saying this for years.
What we were doing was America wants cheap goods, right?
All the stuff you buy on Amazon, most of it's made in China, right?
So America wants cheap goods.
We have broadges full of it.
We have broad sales full of it, okay?
We have storage units full of it, Chinese stuff.
Everything's made in China, right?
Your clothes, your everything, toys, anything you want.
So we want cheap goods.
We shipped them manufacturing to China for the Chinese labor.
We sent China green pictures of dead presidents, all right, our dollars.
China takes our dollars and sends us all the stuff we need or want or desire, okay?
Now China is stuck with the green pictures of dead presidents and they can't spend that
in China.
So what do they have to do?
They have to take that money and they have to buy something with it.
So it doesn't sit in a pile somewhere.
So what do they do?
They buy US Treasury bonds, which finances the United States infrastructure and operations.
So we send them money, green pictures of dead presidents.
They send us all the stuff.
Then they send us back the green pictures of dead presidents.
We get our money back and we send them a 30 year IOU.
Ladies and gentlemen, I would take that trade every day of the year.
It's like trading blackjack with the dealer.
You're bound to win the long run.
So now China saw what we were doing and they tried to do the same thing.
So what they tried to set up is that Iran gets Chinese currency and then Iran spends
that Chinese currency buying Chinese goods and then the money goes right back to Beijing
and it's a closed loop.
And sometimes that Iranian oil doesn't even say Iran on paper.
It says Malaysian blended oil.
Malaysians in the Malaysia is in the middle for a cut.
So on paper it's Malaysian oil.
But in reality it's Iran and you know it's a sanctions work around as I said.
It's a currency experiment.
It's a geopolitical lifeline.
And when the big Chinese banks don't want exposure, these deals go through smaller institutions
like the Kunlun bank based in Xinjiang.
They keep it compartmentalized.
They keep it quiet.
So this is the strategic architecture that they've been trying to set up and to some extent
they were a little successful at it.
And this attack, this action, this conflict with Iran that pulled the thread just shook
it up.
So now here's where Iran has made a catastrophic error and it's unbelievable folks.
Iran did not just retaliate.
Iran fired missiles across the Gulf into their neighbors.
Those missiles flew over Bahrain near the US 5th Fleet Headquarters which had already
been evacuated of course.
And the UAE, the United Arab Emirates and the debris from those bombings even killed
a civilian.
And then Qatar, okay.
The missiles weren't deceptive.
There was no damage.
But Qatar and anti-aircraft fire took down a few of our jets and we suffered a few casualties
as a result.
So you know I want to thank the families of those servicemen for their services.
And you know I would like to pray for their families.
But also they hit Jordan.
And I think two missiles got shot down in Jordan.
And also Saudi Arabia of course there were explosions that were reported from Iran.
So none of these countries attacked Iran.
Some of them were neutral.
Some of them were trying to mediate the process and get peace talks going.
Some of them were literally maintaining diplomatic back channels for the United States to discuss
peace and Trump knew that.
Okay.
And just in one morning these countries, these five countries, their air spaces were violated
by Iran.
You know you can say it was minimal damage, a little collateral damage.
Most of these missiles got intercepted.
But in the process Iran handed the Gulf States legal and political grounds to unite and align
against it and take the side of the United States.
And that's the worst self sabotage you could ever think of.
Saudi Arabia was already leaning in our direction.
Trump already has a strong relationship with Saudi Arabia.
They gave him the sword dance the last time.
Okay.
What are they going to do now?
So Saudi Arabia just released a statement.
It condemned Iran's aggression in the strongest terms and it called the Iranian strikes a
flagrant violation of sovereignty and they pledged full solidarity with the US and its allies.
And then came the statement that's going to change everything.
Saudi Arabia is saying that it's placing all its capabilities to support these countries
in all measures that they take, all capabilities, all measures.
And you know interestingly about a month ago, Saudi was balancing between Tehran and Washington
sort of playing both sides a little bit.
And Iran just forced that choice today.
You know, you're not going to get the Saudis to be neutral after Iran launches the Iran evil
regime of Iran.
Anyway, it launches ballistic missiles that enter Saudi airspace.
Iran just did what the US couldn't do for months.
Iran unified the Gulf States against itself.
Great job.
Great job, guys.
Now let me show you another shockwave in the collateral damage.
Dubai is closed.
The busiest international airport on Earth Dubai International suspended operations during
the missile bombings.
Hundreds of flights were canceled and delays people were stuck in the airport.
So it's not just regional disruption.
This is now a fracture in the global aviation network.
And Dubai, as you know, is not just another airport.
It's a huge hub.
This is the connecting artery between Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
I mean Emirates Air has their hub in Dubai.
So now the flights are rerouting and oil will be spiking soon a little bit.
I think oil's up slightly anyway.
Gasoline prices went up a little bit in the last couple of days.
And remember, the Straits of Hormuz move about 21 million barrels of oil a day.
So I think pretty soon we may expect another oil supply tightening coming and maybe a little
more inflation with it.
And you know, that's troubling a little bit.
But higher inflation means lower interest rates in the United States and I think the Federal
Reserve may now have an excuse to lower interest rates to prevent inflation.
Anywhere I'm going with this.
And every hour that Dubai stays closed, the cost just multiplies.
So you know, it's tourism, Dubai is a popular tourist hub.
A lot of people go there.
A lot of people I know that I never expected would want to go to the Middle East, want to
go to Dubai.
A lot of Europeans go to Dubai, they go shopping in Dubai.
You know, the famous Dubai Mall is supposed to be the greatest luxury shopping experience
in the world.
So there's a lot of tourism there, there's a lot of finance there, there's trade, logistics,
you know, blockchain strategies, there's a lot of technology being developed there.
The United Arab Emirates built their model on being safe, right?
On being neutral and connected.
And now it's being shut down because missiles flew through their airspace.
So the United Arab Emirates, one of the safest countries you can think of, and Iran just shut
down the economic engine of the Gulf, that was the hub.
And that bill will be coming due soon.
And the United Arab Emirates mark my words, they will make Iran pay dearly.
So now let's zoom back out.
If Iran destabilizes, China will be the biggest loser.
This is what I'm trying to say.
China loses the sanctioned oil supplier, a Chinese currency settlement partner, a Middle East
foothold, a weapons laboratory, a belt and road anchor in West Asia.
And here's the part nobody in China likes to admit.
China's Middle East strategy depends on stability without too much commitment.
And China doesn't want to war, China doesn't want to help out its partners in blood and sweat.
And Iran just made war somewhat unavoidable.
So this is an interesting and ongoing discussion, but we're out of time, folks.
We're out of time.
So we're going to have to pick this up in our next episode of Unleashed the Political
News Hour.
I'm your host, Bruce Robertson.
And until next time, folks, may no weapon form against you, prosper.
