Buried within the histories of West Virginia, is the story of Elva Zona Heaster-Shue. A woman who was found dead in late January of 1897. Not an unusual occurrence, by itself, but weeks later her mother would claim to receive a message from her dearly departed daughter, that her death was anything but natural. What followed was one woman’s quest for justice with specific knowledge gained from an apparition that led to the trial and conviction of the person who was truly responsible for her untimely death.
