About this episode
International Intersex Awareness Day is celebrated on October 26 each year, and to celebrate, we welcomed two champions of Intersex Awareness Day to the JOY airwaves, Betsy Driver and Morgan Carpenter. Betsy Driver co-founded Intersex Awareness Day in 2004, and in 2015, Morgan Carpenter co-founded The Intersex Day Project.
On this podcast, you’ll hear a wonderful discussion about the origins and continuing importance of this now internationally celebrated day, and learn about other contributions both of our guests have made to supporting the intersex community to live full, safe, and supported lives.
